SIDEWINDER

Sidewinder is a Hivewing, Sandwing hybrid and, as the ships first mate, his role is to act as an assistant to the Pothos, the quartermaster. He is abnormally big, has an earring made by Nymph and an aquamarine ring from one of his friends he meets with at trading posts. Sidewinder was raised in the centre of the Sand Kingdom after his egg was found abandoned in the desert, where he became a security guard stationed around the palace. He fled the kingdom after he was accused of murder when the victim showed signs of a Hivewing attack. His boyfriend left him after the rumour circulated so he had no good reason to stay.

Sidewinder found the crew after visiting the same trading port as them and found them more welcoming to a very big and sharp hybrid than most.

Sorry it took so long to draw this, but yes indeed I can draw your girl!! I love the design, it is so very detailed and unique. The greens, teals, and yellows remind me of gold and emeralds. Very fun to draw.

Favorite AU has gotta be the one's where Sunny grows up as Beetle with Thorn in the Scorpion Den. I don't think it would change her too much, but she'd definitely be tougher up front and would not take shit from anyone. Although, she's still the same kind dragon we know from the books. Bonus points if the AU is an AU where all the DoD grow up separate and still find each other and end the war together. Those are always super sweet!

Anyway, have a tender moment between mother and daughter shortly after hatching. Also, this was the first real lineless thing I've tried. It was so hard, it took forever. I need more practice for sure.

Amethyst A sand/sky hybrid being kept and raised in ravage, held hostage by Yucca(A sandwing trader) A snippy, aggressive dragon for her age who doesn't see much hope in her future getting out. Living in Ravage isnt an easy life for a child Easy to anger and violence she constantly is fighting to survive. She's kept by Yucca to be used as a fancy decoration who’s doing party tricks, playing music, singing songs, dancing with swords. The dragonete learned to do many things to entertain and to harm, knowing how to make shapes with her flames and smoke, but also knowing how to accidentally let a dancers sword slip. She only hopes one day she can be somewhere safe, away from the dragon she depends on so much, but fears more than anything.
