@sandiegohistorycenter is opening an exhibition tonight, Saturday, 4/20🧐 “I’m Not Like You: Notes From the San Diego Underground”. I have a handful of photos included in the show that celebrates the creative period of punk, hip-hop and skateboarding in San Diego from the 1970s - 1990s. The opening reception is from 6-8pm tonight and the exhibition runs to October 27th. The San Diego History Center is located in Balboa Park at 1649 El Prado, Suite #3. I was pleasantly surprised to see Air Zine , Two issues (I did 2.5 issues🥴) of the Zines I did in 1984ish are part of the @sandiegohistorycenter Skate, Punk and Hip-hop exhibit “I’m Not Like You: Notes from the San Diego Underground” in Balboa Park. It’s up until October, go. Skate and Punk zines were plentiful back then.
