Hello! These are some screenshots my boyfriend took of me running around our long-term modded survival minecraft world! If you would like me to post the mods I have added (Fabric API thru curseforge for version 1.21.4), please let me know, and I'll gladly do so!
I can also tell you more details if you so please, like what resource packs, settings, etc. These are all running pretty smoothly for me, and I have a geekom mini pc! So, if you'd like some low-pc friendly mods for quality of life and cozy-casual gameplay, I'd be more than happy to give the creators some love and share their work!
I can also post some builds and updates on here as we progress, if that's something you guys would like to see.
Thanks for reading! Have a lovely rest of your day.

Me waiting for a sandbox game (like GTA, Saints Row, Just Cause) set in the future, featuring anti-grav vehicles (like Redout, F-Zero, Deathgrip) and mechs (like Titanfall, Armored Core)

I made a Strawpage :) You can also send me stuff over there https://tanoshiboo.straw.page/ I will be replying to everyone in my inbox soon, just a bit busy I'll be working on the TADD comic after I finish up on a few commissions and answer everyone in my inbox ✌️ --- To anyone who enjoys making pixel art, chatting, building, roleplaying or whatever - I suggest trying https://saltfree.antisa.lt/ You can do almost absolutely ANYTHING. I can do TADC skin requests if anyone's interested, too (or generally just skin requests) and that means I'll make you a pixel character which looks like this:

(this is not the game, just the spritesheet for the character which you can make in-game but I just uploaded it to FireAlpaca lol) It walks, talks, climbs, jumps, blinks, sits and creates I am currently moderating it, as well as a few others, so if you ever need help just contact me or check out the strawpage I made for it which has a bunch of information about it https://saltfree.straw.page/

🪻 Daily Theme: Hermit Hut. A sort of combination between a micro-castle and a trullo pugliese. Do you know what's a trullo?

Forever World Trend ~
So if you've taken the time to look around Youtube, you probably saw that the 'Minecraft Forever World' and the 'Two Week Minecraft Phase' are trending. I just wanted to chit chat a bit about this trend, because I find the whole concept of a Forever Lasting World or being honest about a temporary world is SO interesting.
--
My Thoughts
Forever World
I think the idea that this world is essentially going to be forever, or as long as you possibly can play it, makes starting the world and keeping the world ten times more exciting. It isn't just some random world you'll lose interest in after a month, it's the world you'll put all of your best efforts into because you'll be coming back to it every time you play.
As you spawn in, and get a good look at the surrounding seed you'll be covering with builds and farms and other things, makes it feel much more like starting at a new school, making a new friend, an exciting nervous change from the throw-away worlds you're used to.
It also allows you to play the game more as it's intended, a slower place, being mindful of the nearby forests, caves, etc. because unlike a regular survival world, you'll be revisiting them eventually as you build around your spawn.
I just recently started my first proper forever world with my boyfriend, which granted, I guess if we break up, it ruins the chance of a forever world (for him, I'd keep playing on it) but I don't think we're leaving anytime soon.
And, I have been thouroughly enjoying prioritizing normal survival tasks and building rather than end-game. It makes the process so much more fun, especially since we modded it.
I just had a thought, for the writers out there, you can even channel your inner mcyt 2020 era and write lore for your forever world!
Temporary World
Now while the Forever World is exciting, I think being honest about a temporary world and just having fun is equally as exciting. A lot of times, or at least me personally, I tend to lie to myself about these temporary worlds, which causes me to burn out.
I tell myself it's going be long-term, and that I'll come back to see my builds, but it usually gets deleted to make space for the next one I add.
The way I would suggest looking at these two-week phases is for what they are, and use this time to practice things you wouldn't do in a permanent world mindset. Try out new build techniques, styles, areas, crops, mining, etc. Try the new things that won't really change anything when you eventually abandon them.
You can go as crazy as you want, building things out of diamond blocks or crazy old-school Minecraft iron houses from your childhood. That is also super fun. Just channeling your inner child, or artist, or whatever, and going crazy with no restrictions.
If you want to cheat yourself a diamond set of armour? Cheat it! You have full reign to do whatever, and sure that applies to the forever world too technically, but with a world that you don't really care for, you can do anything without regretting it.
--
Well, I know this is a random post, but I just felt like yapping about it a bit since I am in my Minecraft hyper fixation again, and all I can think about is Minecraft and my worlds...
Thanks for reading!
