it is my humble yet passionate belief that Deltarune takes place in 2009, here is my take on the lightners’ phones/devices

The fourth is an iPod touch. It has a dark blue case and has visible fingerprints on the touchscreen. Text next to it reads “Berdly’s iPod Touch. iPod Touch Gen. 2 from 2008. Crusty grody case. Greasy fingerprints (feather-prints??). Sometimes he plays games on there like solitaire, sudoku, fruit ninja when it comes out in 2010. Mostly uses it for YouTube (where he watches The Guild).”

The fifth is a black BlackBerry phone with a black and bright pink checkered case. The phone has a screen on the top half and a QWERTY keyboard on the lower half. So I spoke to my sister 2 weeks ago and she said she wanted to get the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. My mom said she wasn't able to get it for her because it's too expensive. I recently got the Galaxy Z Flip 6 so she got the same phone for my sister. I didn't get my sister a gift for her birthday this year because I had more money going out than money coming in so I didn't have the money to get her what I initially wanted to get for her. I thought to myself, "I should get my sister the phone that she actually wants." So I told myself that by the end of January next year, I will buy her the S23 Ultra.

My best friend's 21st is also in January next year, and I wanted to get her a really nice gift for her that I felt might be meaningful. I also needed some cash so I can travel to her and travel back home after her birthday celebrations. With all of this in mind, I started thinking of ways I could get money because I told myself that I will do all of these things.

And now, I've got a huge lump sum of money that will not only cover my sister's phone and my best friend's birthday, but also I can buy matching jewellery for me and my 2 besties (the birthday girl is one of them), I can buy all the perfumes that I wanted and the perfume oils too, all of the makeup and hair products because my hair has been crying out for help (don't worry hair, your cries have been heard and are now answered), and all the unexpected expenses that have come (like my speeding ticket...) and still have a nice cushion of money to save and invest.

I'm so grateful that I not only am spiritually and energetically abundant but also materially and financially abundant. This money came at the best time for me to celebrate the people I love most (including myself) with Christmas, my sister coming back from uni, both of my besties' birthdays in December and January, and my sister's 21st also being next year, I can get them the material things that show my appreciation and love.

I feel like I've been drawing even longer than I've been writing. I used to cart my sketchbook around everywhere as a kid and just be sitting in a corner drawing while everyone else was talking or doing stuff

I drew tons of anime growing up, mostly fanart of sailor moon and ranma and fushigi yuugi and stuff like that. I'd also come up with ideas for manga I wanted to draw (my mom had to convince me in junior high that moving to Japan and becoming a manga artist was not a realistic career goal lol) and I would order those physical screentones you had to cut out and place on the paper and use a G-pen with a bottle of ink to ink

most of my life I've drawn on paper and would line by hand, scan it, then color it. I was convinced I couldn't use tablets because I'd only ever tried on a glossy Samsung tablet and I hated it (it wasn't until working on OW that I bought a non-screen tablet and that changed my world)

I ended up getting a degree in studio art drawing because I didn't know what else to do (I started as a music major but didn't like it, wanted to switch to Japanese but my school didn't offer it, so chose art lol). I will not say my time in school radically helped my art... but I did get to do some figure drawing and did do a lot of art. but I felt quite out of place as many of my professors would try to talk me out of my cartoony style (I still remember when we had to share our sketchbooks with the class and mine was full of fanart done in my own style for things like gijinka Mario and Star Fox, but all my classmates told me it felt fake and copied since it was cartoons and not real art... 💦)

anyway......... I tried to go into animation storyboarding after school but couldn't get any ins or leads so I went back to school for Japanese LOL art became just a hobby again. But I continued drawing all the time. When I was in Japan and didn't have a scanner, I started doing mouse drawings in MS Paint. I think this is where my affinity for pixel drawings started. I'd continue to draw, draw, draw for all the fandoms I've been in since. my style evolved and changed a lot, sometimes a bit more cartoony, sometimes a bit more realistic (but still mostly anime-esque style)

I don't think it started turning away from anime entirely until I got into some cartoon fandoms. I think that's when the big ears and noses started to develop. And then a short while later I made Easter, which you can see has a slightly different style than early OW but it was like the precursor. I also returned to the mouse drawn MS paint style for the Easter CGs because I didn't have a scanner. this style continued into my early OW drawings but I guess kinda kept evolving as I kept drawing the chars for years and years. It's become a lot more fluid and organic now and I've gotten more consistent with the style and how I draw the chars

I guess that's it, really!! I feel like I've left out a ton but it already feels so long and I can't really think of anything else specific to add or focus on, so I'll just leave it with that kinda summary I guess 🤣 but ofc if there's anything more specific you want to ask I will do my best to answer!!

do you have recommendations for noise cancelling earbuds ? im very confused by that because ive tried to find anything that actually is noise canceling to me, bc when my sensory issues get bad sometimes All sound is bad but the best ive been able to do is listen to white noise to block out anything else, because earplugs just seem to muffle stuff and anything ive tried that's marketed as "noise cancelling" for earbuds is pretty noise cancelling if you're listening to something with them, but for just having them in silence to block out noise has never worked for me

maybe i misunderstood that but if there is a good option to block out noise and just have it be quiet i would love to ask for any suggestions you have :'o thank u so much u dont have to answer this Oop i feel awkward sending an ask about it so feel free to ignore fksjfjjsfjks i just haven't had luck with anything ive tried for noise cancelling

At the moment I'm using Samsung noise cancelling earphones, they have a decent quality and muffle most of the outside noises even without playing music. But I get good noise cancelling earbuds are quite expensive and are out of budget for many people 😅

I also heard of a kind of earplugs designed mainly for ND people called Calmers, these are silicone and muffle sounds so they are kind of "turned down" to you. A friend of me recommended me those and they aren't very expensive (around 25€, not bad imo).

In any case it depends on how your tolerance to noise is. I've known autistic people with sensory issues so bad they use headphones for construction workers (at least these are way cheaper, you can get them at stores like Leroy Merlin). From my experience headphones make a better work in general isolating you from noise, but I don't like them personally because I also have TMJ (jaw joint) dysfunction and the pressure on my head hurts me.

What makes them your current bias(es)? I love hobi's passion, his optimism and kindness, his fairness and care for everyone he meets in different ways. we also have the same laugh, which always makes me happy. he is just SO GOOD you know? he (and bangtan really) brought so much joy in my life, they keep making me love life more (prev you wrote things so true about tae TvT)

yoongi's just special. he has a unique connection to whoever can relate to his music, and again, he is immensely kind and emotionally wise. he brings comfort the way someone who gets it, and loves you despite the pain, can. this counts for the three of them, but I admire their writing so much. also he's just so so resilient and loving.

namjoon is a lot like me in the way we believe life's beauty is something to draw comfort and joy and strength from. when i see art, when i read a book, when i admire a beautiful sky, I am living the way I should, because I am made better by it, and because it makes me want to cherish and preserve this beauty and the people around me to witness it. we share a love for art in all its forms, but also the same penchant for melancholy, for reflection. i feel immensely seen whenever I read one of his letters.

to be fair, I also love a lot of other groups, though not with the same intensity as bangtan. my favourites are: skz's rapline, in particular han jisung, yeonjun and taehyun and soobin, yeosang and hoongjoong, seonghwa, jungwon, woozi...

Would you mind giving me a few more details about the mobile links? I tested them from the Tumblr mobile app on Samsung, and from the tumblr.com/omegaxmasterlist blog view on desktop and they both worked. However, when I viewed my blog from a mobile browser, the links redirected and opened the Tumblr app instead of the blog page... If that last scenario is your problem, I'll do some digging and try to fix that.

As for the albums and Spire, the answer will depend on where you buy your albums from.

I'd suggest looking for albums on ebay or amazon, or looking for other FOR X who are selling their albums on twitter, instagram, etc.! Buying secondhand is the best way to avoid giving Spire any new profits. And often you can find sealed albums being sold, so it'll feel just like brand new :)

*However I will say, given the ongoing legal issues, I have literally no idea if Spire is even still making money... Honestly I was surprised that they performed "Play Dumb" at those basketball and soccer games because I thought Spire would own the rights to all their music and usage of it. Now I'm obviously no Korean copyright law expert, but I have to say this feels like a good sign, right? Again, I don't know... but I'm hopeful that OMEGA X will be able to retain the legal rights to everything they did and made under Spire, and that Spire won't make a single penny off those boys every again.
