If the GoS theme this month wasn't a sign that I needed to get back to my Breeds For All Needs project I don't know what is!

More like a warning to her victims.

She believes that, after seeing the horse, they either change their “wicked ways” or suffer the consequences.

They don’t interact much outside of Judge’s dreams.

It’s more of a mutual agreement.

This started when it showed up her dreams to torment her for her crimes, but she made a deal:

Since she finds them guilty… if Dream Horse gets them to change in 4 nights, they’ll live. If not, they die justly.

Seed Eater

EJ and Seed met in the same distress: running from humans trying to kill them.

EJ saw the people trying to use guns to kill Seed Eater and (since he isn’t scared of guns) slaughtered the mass of them.

In return, Seed Eater used its beak head to yeet the scientists trying to get EJ all Polyphemus style (let’s see who gets that reference)

After that, EJ would bring his “left overs” to Seed Eater.

They’re not really left overs since he doesn’t eat the head or bones and a lot of other organs.

Seed Eater becomes his protector and EJ becomes Seed’s

Grinning Cat

The birds that are scared of the cat that will kill and eat them are also scared of the living scarecrow that will swallow them whole.

The Grinning Cat originally appeared to catch mice and birds in the plains where Scarecrow resided before the Dungeon.

Scarecrow found it and chased as fast as it could.

When the cat got away, it decided to bribe it with dead birds afterwards.

And so it did. The cat and Scarecrow became good buddies. Although, there is no defensive/caring relationship between the two.

Ends up getting stabbed (accidentally) by Helen he will never forgive himself for killing a dog

He’s known to be the most aggressive and most dangerous of them

He was always thankful to Liu for helping them

Atlas (Siberian husky)

Inte’s mate

Her jaw can unhinge, so she helps to kill people quickly and efficiently just by biting them

She has a great relationship with Liu since he helped her deliver her first round of puppies

Gamma (German-Belgian Shepard/Siberian Husky)

She’s known for being ridiculous strong and fast

When helping in quartering people, she usually is the one to make sure they don’t get away

Nobara is a vizsla or a redbone coonhound.

Megumi is a mutt of some kind. I made him look like his demon dogs, so- he’s not anything very specific.

Gojo is a samoyed.

Nanami is a borzoi.

Geto is a german shepherd.

Shoko is a chocolate labrador retriever.

Todo is a rottweiler.

Maki and mai are bull terriers.

Inumaki is an akita inu.

I really tried going off their colour, size, shape language, vibes and personality and all that, and Neil DEFFO has golden retriever energy but the darker colour helps him contrast with Todd and also is in reference to his life and looks more

Todd: Cream Labrador

Honestly I don't know what other dog to have put for Todd this is the best fit I think He is calm and chill like labs but also wouldn't hesitate to defend his friends and stand his ground :)

Chris: Samoyed

I really didn't wanna put Chris as a light (esp white) coloured dog bc of her connotations with light colours but 😭 It literally fits so well hskdhbfjhds she looks so pretty I couldn't not do it :") and also there's not many darker dogs that fit her vibe :( She can still accessorize in darker colours tho ofc ofc

Ginny: Blue Heeler

Nah C'MON this is SUCH a Ginny dog like the bluish blackish warmish greyish patterns on the fur is like exactly what I think she'd wear and the dark round patterns are reminiscent to her dark wavy hair :)

Dalton: Husky-Chi

This was the only one that made a little sense to me tbh 😭 I literally tried looking for so many types of small dogs but they all looked weird and unfitting and wrong so this is the best I got 💀 Also apparently their personalities are quite unpredictable and "mystic" which I think matches pretty well with her impulsive and creative sense

Knox: German Shepherd Hound Mix

This is such a Knox dog omg look at him he's got the same cowardly mopey doe eyed look the lil freak always has I love him I esp wanted a dog that would be of a bigger build but more quiet and kinda scared looking like Knox is, and I think it worked p well with the hound addition bc german shepherds are guard and fighting dogs and the mix totally subverting that threatening appearance fits pretty well with Knox's lack of interest in getting involved with trouble or scuffs Also he looks like he'd give good hugs which :))))))

Okay, so AU NA Twin headcanon:

Matthew has a huge fluffy white Artic dog. Either Samoyed or Husky or Malamute or Eskimo dog, or some mix of them. Its name is Bear. (Or Nanuq.)

He's super protective and affectionate but also has a bit of an attitude problem. (We see you there Kuma).

Alfred had two cats, cause they're a bonded pair, Hero and Maple. Ironically, they're twins too! Either Maine Coons or Ragdoll or Ragamuffin, they're also giant and fluffy, playful, affectionate, and give head butts.

Also the clumsiest cats ever.

amino - basset hound? idk its a cat. i think this breed looks lazy and kinda sad

ok but if i had to pick a dog based on size i guess he could be a lab or golden retriever (family dogs, extremely social and active, probably a pushover) and he’s a show dog

I could also consider akita or rottweiler for being aggressive but extremely loyal to those it cares about bc while kik doesn’t like most ppl i think he gets very attached to the few he does like. then again dogs are just like that.

Riddle: he’s a Doberman owner if I’ve ever seen one! Stern, scheduled, rules for everything! Dobie would be so happy with him!

Trey: Labrador, who is really old, and really fat. Trey can’t say no to puppy eyes, so his dog gets fat fast. But he does make sure all food is safe for the pooch!

Cater: the most spoiled Pomeranian, maybe a Chinese crested. Little Velcro dog, and I feel his dog would be the most spoiled dog!

Deuce: some sort of rescue mutt, maybe a Shepard mix.

Ace: another mutt boy, his and Deuce’s dogs are besties.

Leona: Samoyed, soft fluffy pillow! His dog would end up as his emotional support dog probably, loves the dog more than he will admit.

Ruggie: is friends with all the strays, but doesn’t “own” any of them

Jack: husky, good in the cold, and LOVES running and hiking! Enough energy to finally keep up with Jack’s workouts!

Azul: i can only picture Azul with some white furry cat to finish off his mob boss persona. Maybe a Maltese or Pekingese

Jade: Jade probably trains his to help him hunt mushrooms. Maybe a bloodhound or a terrier mix…

Floyd: mutt, another emotional support dog, helps keep him stable and helps limit major mood swings. Would have to be a bigger dog though, can’t picture Floyd with a small dog

Kalim: King Charles spaniel, spoiled little brat of a dog.

Jamil: Anatolian Shepard, hard workers, and the dog probably has some sort of satchel so Jamil can carry a lot around.

Vil: another Doberman owner, and is great with diet control cause WHY DO THEY ALWAYS GET BLOAT!?!

Rook: a bunch of grand basset griffon vendeens, little scent hounds from France, laid back babes. Or petit basset griffon vendeen, who are more rabbit hunters than just scent hounds. All I know is he would own a pack of hounds!

Epel: keeshond, which a spitz breed, super friendly and outgoing, but protective of their territory so Epel’s dog would be a great guard dog for their apple trees

Idia: only would own a cat. Not a dog person.

Ortho: (if i misspell this imma cry) kromphorlander…kronforlander…which is a companion breed, sensitive and sweet

Malleus: Pekingese to bring in his royal brand even more. His dog is a spoiled baby who only likes Malleus, and always wants to be held.

Lilia: a mastiff, probably an ex war dog, who is a lazy loaf of a dog now!

Silver: rat terrier, a small bit hyper dog who would happily wake Silver up for play time!

Sebek: broholmer, a silent guard dog, who is very independent, but I could also see Sebek with a Doberman

Crowley: a t’osa, a patient and sweet dog who happily sits at the front door to guard it. I can just see his dog sitting at his desk, by his feet to guard

Crowely:volpino Italian which is a little white puff who happily does exercises then happily cuddles on the couch!

Vargas: a boxer, sweet heart of a dog who is ready to work and run!

Sam: tibétain mastiff, a good guard dog who is aloof. Won’t refuse a pat, but doesn’t react to it. Good cuddle partner at the end of the day.

1: Your first oc ever?

It was a cat I designed that was mostly gray but with a lot of multicolored splatter markings! I think I made him around 2013-2014, his name was Splat (short for Splatterpelt bc I was big into Warrior Cats at the time lmao). I don't know if I have any pieces I drew of him left, which would've been on paper since I didn't get my drawing tablet til long after I made him but I have thought abt drawing him again just kinda for old times sake lol

4. A character you rarely talk about?

Really almost all of my old WoF OCs could fit here, but for the sake of something different, I'll put Pebble :3

Pebble is a Husky/Samoyed mix with fluffy silky fur :3 I don't have a whole lot of personality developed for him other than that he hates getting his fur dirty and also tends to be a sleepy little guy hehe. Despite being a mix of two larger breeds, he's the smallest of my feral dog OCs and is friends with Isaac and Moxie!

6. Two OCs that look alike despite not being related?

I'm not sure I have any good candidates for this since I have a relatively small pool of characters to pick from for this, and really the only two that specifically look similar are Rye and Pumpernickel, and that's because they ARE related lmao. I'd say the pairs of characters that come closest to looking related are Starburst and Seabreeze since they're both cats with big blonde hair :]

(just FYI - i'm going to refer to the first breed you mentioned as the Nenet Laika, as i've read a lot of conflicting info about if the other word is considered derogatory/a slur and I'd rather err cautiously)

these are all, aesthetically, great choices - a lineup of extremely huggable dogs. as mentioned before i have met some lovely chow mixes, but a pure chow is... daunting to say the least. most vets/groomers/pet professionals avoid them for a good reason, unfortunately. which again, a real shame because this dog is the siren call of "noooo come hug me come wrap your arms around me and cuddle my thick fur i wont bite you haha promise :)"

Nenet laika = gorgeous, and i've loved the personalities of the ones i've met, so friendly. haven't looked into them seriously, but i feel like if i had to have a spitz-type dog, they'd be at the top of my list. although i can imagine keeping that coat clean is a hell of an ordeal.

euarsiers i have never met in person but everything i read about them makes them sound wonderful! they seem like a delightful answer to all the people that really want a husky for the aesthetics but don't want a high-energy working dog to deal with (aka me). if i can meet one and confirm, they'd be my top choice for sure 👍
