đŠ Strict but Caring: Just like her father, who used to be in the military, she is very strict when it comes to training. Making sure that the recruits are not just lacking or sitting around. She made sure they DO things. But she is very caring for her comrades. You can say it's called "Tough Love" (learned that from her parents).
đŠ Judgmental: Tiala had a habit of judging people at first glance. Of course, she doesnât show it when meeting someone during work hours. But OUT of work? Sheâll just give you that look. The look that says it all.
đŠ Stubborn: Tiala is usually a stubborn gal. She doesnât usually ask for help. It was really concerning for others to see her working by herself very hard without any assistance. But if youâre a close friend with her. Sheâll reconsider.
đŠ Reluctant: There are times that Tiala will hesitate when it comes to deal with people who has families. Should understand she has her OWN family back at home. So that will hold her back at times.Â
đŠ Bad Driving Skills: She doesnât have a very BAD driving skills. She can drive nicely! BUT. When it comes to the situation that someone is rushing her or annoys her WHILE driving. Sheâll just swerve the car a bit. As long as you let her focus on driving then everything will be alright. Just be silenced and enjoy the rideđ (And she had a driverâs license)

Background Story: (WARNING: Might mention about Sexual Abuse and Kidnapping)
In American Samoa on November 19th, 1997. Tiala was born. And she was the youngest one in the family.
After two years of Tiala being born, her older brother (HĆne) had left to the Marine but he would always come back home to spend time with his family.
When Tiala turned 16-years-old, it was her birthday. She had received very sad news from Kanoa. Kanoa came back from the Marines to tell them the news that HĆne had sadly passed away from the mission that he was sent to. Which really upset Tiala. She could feel her heart was crying out for her dearly older brother. For he had promised that heâll come back home on her special day. So she hadnât celebrated her birthday much since then.
During her Sophomore Year in High School, she was still 16. Tiala had a crush on a boy who was part of the football team. And she was trying to ask him out before their Christmas break. And to her excitement, he accepted. She had thought that she had found love in her life. But little did she know that her happy love life would turn out dark.
After the summer break, Tiala is a Junior in High School. Her boyfriend has been acting pretty touchy lately. NOT in a good way though. More like touching the part that she doesnât want him to touch. Which made him upset. And she doesnât want him to be upset. So she let him have his fun.
Until the year of her being a Senior, her boyfriend had been getting a bit more possessive than being lovely. And it worried her that she needed to talk with her family. But thatâs when he pulls the threats on her if she EVER tells anyone about this. She hesitated and didnât tell anyone. Except that her little brother, named Hemi, saw what her boyfriend was doing in the back of the school. Hemi was being sent by their parents to check on Tiala that theyâre there to pick her up. He was going to tell their parents but Tiala begged him not to. So he just gave in and didnât tell their parents.
And on the night of the Senior Prom. The school let the Senior students bring some of their family members to join in this special occasion. So Tiala happily invited her parents and some of her brothers. Which is only Rangi, Kanoa and Hemi. The night was going so well until Tialaâs boyfriend wanted to take her away from the party so they could have their âFUNâ which she doesnât want to. And thatâs when he started to get very pushy at it. Which caught Hemiâs attention to see his older sister being pulled away. So calling the two older brothers. Kanoa and Rangi quickly came in and took Tiala back before warning the boyfriend to stay away. Soon the whole crowdâs attention was on them as the boyfriend was getting pissed off. Starting to yell at Tiala and blaming her for being such a boring kind of partner. And thatâs when he confessed that he cheated on her with another girl. Which fueled Kanoaâs anger but instead of HIM beating the boyfriend up. Everyone was surprised to see Hemi ran in and tackled him down. Beating him up instead. One of the teachers pulled the two boys away and ended the party.
(Everyone was alright. Just Hemiâs knuckles were being bruised up and he was 11-years-old! Can you believe that?)
After graduation, Tiala had started to plan on joining the Marine Corps with her two brothers. To honor for HĆne. So they started packing and the two older boys took her to Hawaii. Where the camping of the Marine soldiers will be at. She had worked long and hard to finish her test and training. Which was worth it for she had passed all of it. And the two older brothers were very proud. She was 17-years-old when she joined.
So Tiala had taken the position as Staff Sergeant after serving for 4 years and she had made quite a few friends. But her two main friends who she had met are Staff Sergeant Ela Anand and Master Sergeant Herman Black. The two had always made her feel so welcoming ever since she joined in. And the three had been picked by an unnamed Colonel who needed soldiers to help assist to stop the human trafficking. And he did warn them about how dangerous this could be. The three friends were excited for this mission but Tialaâs older brother, Rangi, disapproved of this. He had his concerns for her as this was her FIRST mission and were afraid that something bad might happen. Kanoa had reassured Rangi that sheâll be fine. He will go with her to keep her safe. Tiala agreed with this term even the Colonel agreed as well.
They have traveled to Baja California. The borderline of part Mexico. The team had gotten an intel about Human Trafficking in that area. They have believed that the Drug Cartel is making deals with the other Trafficker who was doing Human Trafficking. So they have to act fast to stop them. The Colonel had already made orders to separate two different teams. Which Tiala is going with Ela and Herman and the others. But Kanoa cannot go as he is going with the Colonel and the other teams. Tiala had reassured her older brother that sheâll be fine since sheâs going with her two friends. The two different teams had already split up as they went to look for the Cartel. But Tiala and her team have been ambushed and kidnapped by them. This was in May 2017.
3 months later. Tiala and her two friends are the only ones who are still alive. They donât know what these cartel people do to their other team members but they have to stay strong and hope that the other marines will come to their rescue. But after a few weeks, Tiala had seen Herman had been dragged out of his cell first and was being pushed by the men. She doesnât know what theyâll do to him. But her question has been answered by the sound of guns shooting and some people screaming. Her eyes widened at this and felt Ela hugging her and trying to comfort her. They need to get out of here and FAST.
At the very last week of the month, Ela had already had a plan to escape. And Tiala agreed to go through it. The two had already escaped from their cell and put down most of the enemies who were blocking them. And all they have to do is to go over the wall. Ela wanted Tiala to go first and was about to boost her up before being shot. Tiala was devastated and shocked as she saw her only friend had died in her own blood. She was taken back and was dealing with her PUNISHMENT. Which you will know of how she got her burnt scar on her tattoos. And already losing her virginity.
2 months later, Tiala was slowly losing her emotions and her insanity as she kept working for those bastards. As they were having their fun. And today was her last day to be living in this cruel world. FINALLY. Before they could even take her, there was a sudden shooting in the area. And even BIG explosions. Who could it be?
It was the Marines. And her brother Kanoa was the one who was leading and had found her. So he took Tiala quickly to the medical area back to the base. October 2017.
Tiala was released from the Marines just to let her rest and hopefully recovered both mentally and physically. She wasnât the same from then. She didnât want any of her brothers or her father to come near her. Even though they are her family she couldnât get the images about those MEN out of her head. Every time they come near. Sheâll scream or flinched when they are present. Which really hurts their hearts.
Itâs been 2 months that Tiala has to recover and still didnât let any of her brothers or her father come near. Until, Kanoa had an idea. While Tiala was just resting on her bed, looking through the window. She suddenly hears someone singing outside of her room. So curiously, she slowly walked out of her room and into the living room before seeing Kanoa was playing the guitar while singing their favorite church song. Called âA Pei Se Vaitafeâ (Like a River). And she slowly walked over to Kanoa as memories flowed through her mind of how HĆne used to sing that song to her. And sat down next to him as she softly sang along with him. Her whole family slowly peeked in to see this and was very touched to see Tiala had finally come out to her family.
Before the Summer starts, in the year of 2018. Tiala had come back all fresh and new. For she wanted to continue to serve for her lost friends and brother. And then she heard that Kanoa was making a Task Force. She was also being asked by the General, named Alana and the one who was helping Kanoa to form a team for his Task Force, if she wanted to join. So she didnât hesitate to take it and was placed in to be Kanoaâs Second-in-Command. Thatâs when she met the other two new members of the team. Sergeant Agnes âBlastâ Falagi and Dr. Aelan Kalani. The two soldiers who were the one who helped Kanoa to save her. And she had given her thanks and accepted them into their new team.

race as an element in fantasy stories will never not intrigue me btw i will always yap about the external choices and author makes affecting the internal machinery of text itself and how intentional any given off the cuff statement appears to be

Midnight Dreams 2
Dwayne âThe Rockâ Johnson x Black OC

Summary: Dwayne has secretly loved Snow for years, and as his feelings deepen, Snow begins to realize that Dwayne might be the love of her life.
Taglist: @bratzzzdoll @christinabae @magnificentbouquetmusic @lizzycaraballo-blog @ryecosse @isabella-2025 @bloodlineslut @she-is-a-saucey
Chapter One
It had been nearly 36 hours since the evening everything changed. Since the evening Snow finally admitted to herself and Dwayne that she was in love with him. The evening they kissed, and in that simple, tender moment, they sealed a bond that had always been there, unspoken yet undeniable.
Dwayne had dropped her off at her place afterward, his heart soaring, his mind filled with images of a future with the woman heâd secretly loved for years. But for Snow, it was a different story.
She had been torn. The admission had been so raw, so overwhelming, that she wasnât sure what to do with herself afterward. The words had slipped out before she could stop them, and in that moment, they felt right. But as the silence stretched between them in the hours after, doubts began to creep in. Was this the right thing? What if things didnât work out? What if admitting her feelings for Dwayne had been a mistake?
For Dwayne, the uncertainty was inconceivable. He had waited so long for this moment, and in his eyes, it was the beginning of everything. He was happy, elated even, to know that Snow felt the same way about him. He was ready to move forward, to begin a new chapter with her. But what Snow didnât know, what no one knew was that this new relationship scared her more than anything. She couldnât lose Dwayne. But how could she ever risk it?
For the first time in years, Snow found herself lying awake at night, consumed by the weight of the uncertainty that had settled in her heart. Her thoughts turned in endless circles, replaying that kiss over and over, wondering if she had made the right choice. What if things went wrong? What if this new reality changed everything between them? What if they couldnât go back to being just friends?
The silence between them had started innocently enough. The night they kissed, Snow hadnât texted or called Dwayne once. The following morning, she had turned her phone off to avoid the inevitable conversation that would follow. She was unsure, overwhelmed, and afraid of what admitting her feelings would mean for their friendship. She needed time to process everything, to sort through her emotions, and to figure out whether taking this next step was truly what she wanted.
But Dwayne, for all his understanding and patience, was growing frustrated. It wasnât like Snow to retreat into silence. Theyâd been through too much together, and shared too many experiences, to let something as simple as uncertainty tear them apart. He had been patient for years, waiting for Snow to realize that they were meant to be more than friends and now that she finally had, he wasnât about to let fear hold her back.
In his mind, 36 hours was enough. He wasnât going to sit around and wait for Snow to figure it out. Not after everything they had been through. Not after everything they had just shared.
When he pulled up to her house that afternoon, his jaw clenched, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly, he knew he wasnât going to leave until he had answers. He wasnât going to let Snow push him away, not now, not when they were so close to something real.
Snow was sitting in the living room, staring at her phone, unable to summon the strength to make the call. She knew Dwayne would be trying to reach her. He had been texting, calling, and sending message after message. And messages that were becoming increasingly desperate as the hours passed. But Snow couldnât bring herself to respond. She couldnât find the right words to explain the turmoil she felt inside. How could she tell him that she was afraid of losing him? How could she explain that everything she had ever wanted was now so close, yet so terrifying? She wanted to be with him. She did. But she also knew how fragile things could be. The risk of everything falling apart terrified her.
It wasnât that she didnât want to be with him. It was just⊠everything. The pressure of changing their relationship from friendship to something more, the vulnerability she felt in doing so, was all too much. What if this was a fantasy? What if they were both swept up in the idea of being together, only to find that the reality didnât live up to their expectations? What if the bond they shared was better left untainted by romantic feelings?
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a knock at the door. It was a sharp, insistent knock, one that had Snowâs heart racing in her chest. She stood up, her legs shaking as she approached the door, and when she opened it, she found Dwayne standing there, his posture stiff with tension.
âDwayneâŠâ she began, but her voice trailed off as she took in the angry look on his face.
âYouâve been avoiding me,â he said, his tone low, but unmistakably firm. âIâve tried calling you. Iâve tried texting. You havenât answered once.â His jaw clenched, and Snow could see the frustration burning behind his eyes. âYou canât just drop a bombshell like that and then disappear, Snow. You canât just leave me hanging.â
Snow opened her mouth to respond, but the words got stuck in her throat. She hadnât realized how badly Dwayne was taking it, how much he had expected things to change after sheâd confessed. She didnât know how to make him understand.
âIâm not avoiding you,â she said finally, her voice quieter now. âI just⊠I need time to think. This is a big change, Dwayne. I donât know if Iâm ready to just jump into something new.â
Dwayne shook his head, his lips pressed into a thin line. âItâs not âsomething new,â Snow,â he said, his voice edged with frustration. âWeâve been through everything together. Do you think I donât know how much this means? But you canât shut me out like this. Iâve waited years for you to realize that I love you, and now that youâve said it, now that youâve kissed me, you just⊠disappear?â He let out a frustrated breath. âNo. Iâm not doing that. Iâm not waiting anymore.â
Snow stepped back, feeling the weight of his words crash down on her. His intensity, his anger, it was all so overwhelming. But beneath the anger, she could see the hurt in his eyes, the vulnerability that had always been there, the fear that maybe she didnât feel the same way anymore.
âIâm not saying I donât want this,â Snow said quietly, her eyes meeting his. âIâm just⊠Iâm scared, Dwayne. Iâm scared of what happens next. What if this ruins everything? What if we canât go back to being friends if it doesnât work out?â
Dwayneâs face softened, the anger fading as he stepped closer to her. âYou think we canât work through it? Do you think we canât handle whatever comes next? Snow, weâve been through everything together. Weâve survived every storm. This is no different.â
âBut it is different,â Snow whispered, her voice breaking. âItâs different because if we mess this up, I canât lose you. I canât lose my best friend.â
Dwayne reached for her, his hands gently cupping her face. âYou wonât lose me, Snow,â he said softly. âI promise you. You wonât lose me.â
Tears welled in Snowâs eyes as she let out a shaky breath. âBut what if itâs not enough? What if we canât make it work?â
âWe will make it work,â Dwayne said, his voice firm and full of certainty. âWeâre stronger than that. Weâve always been stronger than that. If we canât make this work, then we werenât meant to be in the first place. But Snow, I donât think thatâs the case. I think weâve always been meant to be more than friends. I think weâve always been meant to be together.â
Snowâs breath hitched in her throat. The way he looked at her, with so much conviction, so much love and it was all too much. She wanted to believe him. She wanted to let go of her fear and just fall into his arms, to trust that everything would be okay. But part of her still couldnât shake the doubt.
âIâm scared,â she whispered again. âIâm so scared.â
Dwayne leaned forward, his forehead resting against hers. âI know, Snow. I know. But Iâm not going anywhere. Not now. Not ever.â
For the first time in 36 hours, Snow felt herself begin to relax. The tension that had been gnawing at her chest started to ease as Dwayneâs presence washed over her, his promise echoing in her mind. She wasnât sure how everything would turn out. She wasnât sure what the future held. But at that moment, with Dwayneâs arms around her, she knew one thing for certain.
She wasnât ready to let him go.
And maybe she was ready to leap into the unknown with him.

Snow woke up slowly, her body still heavy with the remnants of sleep, but the first sensation that hit her wasnât the comfort of the warm blankets. Dwayne's arms' solid presence around her constricted her like a vise, pulling her closer than she thought possible. His grip was tight, almost desperate, like he feared she might disappear. The weight of his arms, the warmth of his chest against hers, made it hard to breathe.
She tried to wriggle free, to slip away from his suffocating hold, but his arms only tightened around her, securing her even more firmly in place. "Dwayne," Snow murmured, her voice muffled by the solid barrier of his chest. She repeated his name, louder this time, frustration edging her tone.
When that failed to make any difference, she buried her face deeper into the warmth of his chest and bit down, lightly, just enough to get his attention. It was a playful move, but it had the desired effect. Dwayne let out a startled yelp, his grip loosening just enough for Snow to wriggle her way free.
âCome on, Snow, you couldâve just woken me up with a kiss,â he teased, his voice sleep-heavy but still carrying that familiar playful tone she had come to cherish.
âThis is not Sleeping Beauty, I gotta pee,â Snow shot back, the sharpness of her words breaking through the haze of morning grogginess. Dwayne laughed softly as he released her entirely, and Snow didnât waste a moment. She rolled out of bed and rushed to the bathroom, relieved to finally get some space and freedom.
Dwayne, ever the curious observer, followed her, slipping into the bathroom behind her, though he had no immediate intention of using it himself. As Snow handled her business, Dwayne began brushing his teeth, as if it was just another normal part of their day, another step in their long, shared routine. It had always been like this. They had known each other for years, their friendship grounded in comfort, a constant presence that was almost too familiar.
Yet now, things felt different. The admission of feelings, the acknowledgment of their changing dynamic, hung in the air between them. Snow realized, as she stood there in the bathroom, that this new reality. This evolution of their relationship was something she hadnât quite fully processed.
âOh God, now that weâre something, I completely understand how weird our friendship was. There is no way I would be okay with my man doing this,â she muttered to herself, her words half-spoken and half-absorbed in the sound of the running water as Dwayne splashed his face.
Dwayne, hearing her, gave her a puzzled look as he finished rinsing off his face. âFirst of all, weâre more than something,â he said, his voice steady, though there was a hint of playful challenge in his tone. âAnd yeah, our exes mightâve been right about how close we are,â he added, wiping his face with a towel. He paused for a moment, considering her words. âBut you know what? I donât care. This feels right. You and me.â
Snow, still caught up in the shift of emotions and the realization of just how intertwined their lives had become, flushed the toilet and began removing her pajamas. The fabric slipped away from her skin, and she stepped into the shower, the warm water a balm for her scattered thoughts.
As the water cascaded over her, Dwayne watched from the doorway, his eyes lingering on her form for a moment longer than he knew he should. He was aware of the boundaries they were toeing now, the delicate line between friendship and something more. He wasnât about to push too hard, but in his heart, Dwayne knew he had to put in the work. Snow was hesitant, afraid to give all of herself to him, afraid of what commitment might mean for them. But he had made up his mind. He wasnât going to let her slip away.
âIâm gonna go cook us some breakfast,â he announced, his voice low but steady.
Snow called after him, her voice light and teasing, âOkay, I want waffles.â
He smiled at her request, knowing full well heâd make her something far more extravagant. He turned and headed downstairs to the kitchen. Breakfast was something he had always taken pride in, and he knew that a good meal might be just what Snow needed to start the day.
In the kitchen, Dwayneâs culinary skills went into full swing. He cooked up a savory crab cake eggs benedict, some freshly toasted wheat bread, tender sirloin steak, perfectly scrambled egg whites, oatmeal with a touch of cinnamon, fresh papaya, and, of course, peanut butter and jelly English muffins. By the time Snow made her way downstairs, Dwayne had set the table, the array of food filling the room with its delicious aroma.
Snow, dressed in a moss green hoodie and matching bike shorts, with her hair pulled back in a simple ponytail and no makeup on, beamed at the spread before her. âYummy,â she said, bouncing on her heels, clearly delighted by the effort Dwayne had put into making breakfast.
They sat down, and as they dug into the meal, Dwayne asked, âSo, what are your plans for the day?â
Snow chewed thoughtfully for a moment. âAside from answering emails, attending a couple of Zoom meetings, and making some calls? I think Iâm staying inside for the day.â
âAnd whatâs your plan for the day?â Snow asked, taking a sip of her juice.
âStay here, up under you,â Dwayne answered, a hint of mischief in his voice.
Snow smiled, the idea of Dwayne staying close to her all day making her heart flutter unexpectedly. âOh really?â she asked, raising an eyebrow.
âYep,â Dwayne said, âIâm not leaving your house at all today. So, weâll be in each otherâs faces all day.â
Snowâs lips curled into a little smile, a blush creeping up her neck. âI hope you donât get tired of me,â she said softly.
âNever,â Dwayne replied with certainty, and Snow could hear the sincerity in his voice.
After they finished breakfast, they moved to the kitchen sink to wash the dishes together. The act was simple, almost domestic in its familiarity, and it felt right. As they finished, Dwayne excused himself to take a shower, while Snow retreated to her home office.
Snow checked her schedule for the day, her first appointment being a call with WWE creatives. She hadnât wrestled since early 2023, though she was still under contract with them. The call was about the possibility of bringing her back, an idea that had been floating around for some time. As the conversation progressed, Snowâs mind wandered. The creatives suggested a love storyline for her return. Snowâs stomach churned at the thought of it. Dating a Samoan man wasnât for the faint of heart. Dwayne, with his massive ego and possessive nature, would never allow her to do a love storyline with anyone else. Snow could feel his protective gaze even from across the room.
She turned down the storyline, suggesting they find something else. Dwayne, hearing the conversation unfold, was already brainstorming how to bring Snow back to WWE in a way that would keep them both happy. He imagined the two of them working together on screen, side by side, maybe even as a real couple.
As noon arrived, Dwayne was eager to have Snowâs full attention. She finished her last Zoom meeting and stood up, stretching with a quiet groan.
âWhat do you want for lunch?â Snow asked, clearly ready to shift gears for the day.
Since he had cooked breakfast, Snow thought it was only fair to cook lunch. Dwayne didnât hesitate. âI think I could go for a Chinese chicken salad.â
âThat sounds good,â Snow agreed, heading to the kitchen to start preparing.
After lunch, Snow found herself lying on the couch, half asleep, with her head resting on Dwayneâs chest. He was talking on the phone, handling some business with Dany, but his fingers lightly rubbed her back as she drifted off. Snow sighed softly, feeling the comfort of being in Dwayneâs presence.
As she dozed, she had a strange, vivid dream. Her late grandmother, Celeste, appeared in the dream, smiling warmly as she spoke words Snow would never forget: âYou chose a man who will lead you from a place of love.â
Snow woke suddenly, the dream fading as Dwayne finished his call. He smiled at her, his face warm with affection. âHey, sleepyhead,â he teased.
âYou let me fall asleep on you,â Snow mumbled, half embarrassed.
âYou were just so comfortable in my arms, I couldnât wake you up,â Dwayne said softly, brushing a lock of hair from her forehead.
Snow crinkled her nose, the words tumbling out before she could stop them. âOh God, I was hoping we wouldnât be those couples, you know, where everything sounds so cute.â
Dwayne chuckled, his deep laugh making her heart flutter. âIs that so bad?â he asked, his tone playful.
âYes,â Snow replied, though she couldnât keep the smile from spreading across her face. âBut I guess I can live with it.â
âI want to take you out tonight,â Dwayne said, his tone suddenly serious.
âOh? Where are we going?â Snow asked, intrigued.
âIâm thinking of a Wagyu steak place or sushi,â he said with a glint in his eye.
âSushi it is,â Snow decided.
Later that night, they arrived at an upscale Japanese restaurant. Paparazzi were there, their cameras flashing as they caught sight of Dwayne and Snow entering the restaurant, hand in hand. For the first time in years of being photographed together, Dwayne wasnât just walking beside her; he was holding her hand, claiming her in front of the world.
Once inside, they were led to a private room where they ordered drinks: Snowâs margarita and Dwayneâs Negroni, and browsed the appetizer menu. As the waiter left, Snow noticed Dwayneâs quiet demeanor. His expression was soft, but there was a depth of emotion behind his eyes.
âWhatâs on your mind?â she asked, her curiosity piqued.
âUs,â Dwayne answered simply, his voice laden with meaning.
Snowâs heart softened. She had been thinking about them too, about the years they had spent side by side, and now, about how this new phase of their relationship might unfold. She had always known that Dwayne was important to her, but now, it was becoming clear: he was the love of her life.
âWhat about us?â she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dwayne looked at her, his gaze intense. âI want to know where weâre going,â he said. âI want to know how we make this work. I want us to be in it for the long haul.â
Snow nodded slowly, her heart swelling with affection. âIâm all in,â she whispered, and at that moment, she realized that they both had the potential to build something lasting, something beautiful if only they were brave enough to commit.
Dwayne reached across the table, his hand finding hers, his fingers curling around hers with a gentle but firm grip. It was as if he was silently reassuring her, telling her that whatever came next, they would face it together. Snowâs pulse quickened at the contact, and for a moment, everything else in the room disappeared. The soft clink of utensils, the murmur of other diners, the distant hum of the city outside. There was only the warmth of his hand in hers and the undeniable connection that stretched between them.
She squeezed his hand lightly, a silent promise that she too was ready for whatever would come next. This was it. The beginning of something new, something unknown, but something she was willing to explore with him. For all the years they had spent as friends, this was different. This wasnât just about familiarity and comfort anymore. It was about growth, about becoming something more, and Snow felt the weight of that responsibility settling in her chest, though it felt more like an excitement than a burden.
âSoâŠâ Snow started, her voice soft but steady. âWhat does that look like, exactly? For us, I mean?â
Dwayne leaned back slightly in his chair, taking a moment to think. His eyes searched hers, his expression thoughtful, even a little intense. âI think itâs about finding balance,â he said finally. âWeâve been through a lot together, Snow. Weâve seen each other at our best and our worst. Weâve shared a lot of history, and now we get to create a future. But I want to make sure weâre both clear about what that future looks like.â
Snow nodded, taking a deep breath. âYeah. I get that. Iâve always been the kind of person whoâs had everything planned out, you know? Iâve had to. Itâs the only way I could keep moving forward with everything going on in my life. But nowâŠâ She paused, letting her words hang in the air for a moment, her eyes meeting his. âNow, Iâm not so sure about anything anymore. I donât have all the answers, and that scares me.â
Dwayneâs expression softened. âYou donât have to have all the answers, Snow. You donât have to have it all figured out. Not with me. I donât need that from you.â He gently ran his thumb across the back of her hand, his touch steady and comforting. âWeâll figure it out together. Iâm here, Iâm not going anywhere.â
The sincerity in his voice, the way he looked at her like she was the most important thing in the room, made her heart swell. She felt her fears start to unravel, thread by thread. The truth was, she had always been afraid of change. Afraid of letting someone in, of truly trusting them with all of her heart. But with Dwayne⊠it was different. She had trusted him for years, trusted him with her thoughts, her feelings, and her past. Maybe it was time to trust him with her future too.
âYouâre right,â Snow said after a beat, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. âI donât need all the answers. I just need to know that weâre going to be okay. Whatever this is, weâll figure it out together.â
âWe will,â Dwayne assured her, his voice thick with emotion. âYouâre not alone in this. Not anymore.â
A silence settled between them, comfortable and deep. Their eyes locked, and for a brief moment, everything else around them faded. It wasnât just about the future anymore; it was about the here and now, about the moments they were sharing in this private corner of the world, about the connection that had always been there but was now unfolding into something more.
As the waiter arrived with their appetizers, they broke the spell, though the connection between them lingered, a soft, unspoken promise. The first course was a delicate tuna tartare, and Snow savored the burst of fresh flavors. She stole a glance at Dwayne, who seemed to be lost in his thoughts as he picked at his food. The soft tension that had hung between them moments ago was still there, but it was now laced with a sense of understanding. They were moving forward together, one step at a time.
âSo, uhâŠâ Dwayne began, looking up from his plate with a sheepish grin. âWhat about us, you know, outside of all this?â
Snow raised an eyebrow, intrigued. âWhat do you mean?â
âI mean,â he continued, âWhat does a normal day look like for us now? Weâve always had this close-knit friendship, but now weâre⊠more than that. Weâre navigating uncharted waters, and Iâm wondering what that means for everything else.â
Snow chuckled softly. âI guess it means more time spent in each otherâs space. More mornings like this, more dinners like tonight. I donât know what it all looks like yet, but Iâm willing to figure it out.â
Dwayne smiled, his eyes softening. âGood. Because Iâm not going anywhere. Iâll be right here, making sure we get through every moment together.â
They continued to eat, the conversation flowing easily as they made plans for their next few days. After dinner, they ordered dessert. The soft hum of quiet conversation around them faded into the background, and Dwayne felt the anticipation build.
Their dinner had been full of easy laughter, good food, and moments of comfortable silence, but as they neared the end of their meal, he knew the moment had arrived. The one he had been waiting for, the one he had carefully planned but also felt a little nervous about.
Snow was laughing at something he had said, a joke about one of their old friends and Dwayne couldnât help but marvel at how natural it felt, how everything felt so effortless now between them.
The waiter came and placed two perfectly crafted desserts before them: a rich chocolate lava cake for Dwayne, and a delicate matcha green tea mousse for Snow, both accompanied by a swirl of raspberry coulis and a dusting of powdered sugar. The warm glow of the candles on the table flickered softly, casting a romantic, intimate light over the two of them.
Dwayne took a deep breath, his fingers tapping lightly against the side of his glass. Snow was already digging into her mousse, clearly delighted by the delicate flavors. He watched her for a moment, his thoughts turning inward. It had always been her, no one else.
Snow, his best friend, the woman he had loved in silence for so long. And now, they were here, together, more than just friends and he couldnât help but feel a swell of emotion rise in his chest.
He had to ask her.
Snow glanced up from her dessert, meeting his eyes with a curious smile. âWhatâs on your mind?â she asked, the sweetness of her dessert still lingering in her voice.
Dwayne shifted slightly in his chair, his heart racing just a bit as he searched for the right words. His usual confidence was there, but this felt different. This was real, this was important.
âYou know, Snow,â he began, his voice steady but full of sincerity, âIâve known you for a long time. Weâve been through a lot together. More than most people probably ever will. And I think thatâs what makes me so sure of this.â
She tilted her head, watching him closely, the playful smile fading into something more tender as she sensed the shift in his tone.
âSure of what?â she asked softly, her heart now beating in sync with his.
Dwayne reached across the table, his hand finding hers once more, his fingers threading through hers with gentle ease. âSure that youâre the one for me. That everything weâve shared has brought us to this moment. I donât want to be just your best friend anymore. I donât want to just share meals with you or spend time with you as 'just us.' I want to be more. I want to be your person, Snow. I want to be the guy who makes you smile every day, the one who holds your hand through all of it.â
Snowâs heart skipped a beat, her breath catching in her throat as she looked down at their hands, feeling the warmth of his touch, the sincerity in his words. She had known it was coming. Had known, deep down, that this was the next step. But hearing him say it, hearing him lay his heart bare in front of her, left her speechless for a moment.
Dwayne squeezed her hand, gently lifting it to his lips to press a soft kiss to the back of her hand, his voice low but clear as he spoke again. âSnow, I know weâve both been through a lot. And I donât know exactly what the future holds, but I do know this, I want you to be my girlfriend. I want us to take this to the next level. So, Iâm asking you now, from the bottom of my heart⊠will you be mine?â
The world around them seemed to slow down as Snow processed his words. It was as if the weight of the question hung in the air, suspended in time. She searched his face, looking for the nervousness, the hesitation that she might expect from someone making such a vulnerable ask. But all she saw in his eyes was sincerity, devotion, and the same quiet certainty that she had come to know so well over the years.
Her breath trembled as she finally spoke, her voice soft but full of emotion. âDwayneâŠâ
He didnât let go of her hand, keeping her close, his gaze unwavering as he waited for her answer.
Snowâs lips curled into a smile, the smile that was all her, so playful, sweet, and just a little teasing. âYou know,â she said with a slight laugh, âI think youâve been my person for a long time. I just didnât know it.â
Dwayneâs heart nearly stopped in his chest as she spoke, the words both a relief and an affirmation of everything he had hoped for.
âYou meanâŠ?â he started, his voice hushed with a mixture of hope and disbelief.
âI mean, yes,â Snow said, her smile broadening. âI want to be your girlfriend. Iâm all in. Iâve always been all in. But I needed you to ask. I needed to know that you werenât just talking about us being more⊠you wanted it.â
Dwayneâs smile broke wide across his face and the weight that had been sitting on his chest for years lifted in an instant. He squeezed her hand tighter, his heart pounding with joy. âGod, I canât believe you said yes,â he said, a breath of relief escaping him. âI promise, Snow, Iâm going to make this worth it. Iâm going to love you with everything Iâve got.â
Snowâs eyes shone with affection as she leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. âI already know you will.â
The waiter came by at that moment, setting down two glasses of champagne, a celebratory toast. Dwayne didnât even notice, too caught up in the moment. He reached for one of the glasses, lifting it toward Snow.
âTo us,â Dwayne said, his voice thick with emotion. âTo everything weâve been through and everything thatâs yet to come.â
Snow lifted her glass, her smile full of meaning, her eyes never leaving his. âTo us,â she echoed.
The clink of their glasses was the perfect punctuation to a moment that neither of them would ever forget. The world outside seemed distant, irrelevant, as they sat there together, the promise of a new chapter beginning right in that instant.
As they leaned back in their chairs, content in the shared silence that followed, Snow felt a sense of peace settling over her.
She had found her person, her best friend, her love, the one who had always been there but who was now everything she needed and more.
Dwayne âThe Rockâ Johnson and Snow Marcil Spark Dating Rumors After Cozy Dinner Date. Are They More Than Just Friends?
It looks like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might have found his match, both in the boardroom and the wrestling ring after a cozy dinner date with none other than WWE legend Snow Marcil!
The pair were spotted last night in an upscale Japanese restaurant, sparking major dating rumors after a long time of speculation surrounding their relationship. While the two have long been close friends, their public outing left little to the imagination, as The Rock was seen holding Snow's hand as they entered the restaurant, setting tongues wagging.
The 52-year-old action star and former WWE champion, known for his larger-than-life personality, looked completely smitten with the 37-year-old business mogul and WWE star, who has been making waves both in and out of the wrestling world. Snow Marcil, a powerhouse in her own right, is widely regarded as one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, a member of WWEâs elite roster during the mid-2000s, and a true icon of the sport.
But donât let her legendary status fool you, Snow has evolved into an even bigger deal since her wrestling days. In addition to her wrestling career, sheâs become a formidable businesswoman, with an impressive portfolio. Snow is a key figure in the boardroom of the Fincher Group, part of the ownership team of Seattle Sounders FC, and the founder of her own fashion house, The Snow Brand. Her business empire extends even further with The Marcil Productions, a TV, film, and advertising powerhouse, and her diverse investments, including her co-ownership of the Caribbean rum brand Ten To One Rum.
Her beauty empire is just as impressive, with her skincare line, Snow Touch, and her haircare line, Hairsay, continuing to thrive. Rumor has it that Snow's net worth is in the billion-dollar range, but, like Beyonce, the elusive mogul has never confirmed her fortune, keeping her financials as tight-lipped as a vault. A source close to the star hinted that Snow Marcil is possibly worth even more than we can fathom, but sheâs keeping the details under wraps, choosing to let her work speak for itself.
But itâs not just her business acumen that has people talking. Snow's apparent chemistry with The Rock has now taken center stage. Sources tell TMZ that the two have been spending a lot of time together recently, but their dinner date last night was the first time theyâve been publicly intimately seen together, igniting rumors of a possible romance.
The couple looked more than just friendly as they shared a quiet, intimate dinner in a private room, exchanging affectionate glances throughout the evening. As the night wound down, the two were seen holding hands and leaving the restaurant together, further fueling speculation that their relationship could be more than just friendship.
While neither Snow nor Dwayne has confirmed their relationship, the energy between them is undeniable. Dwayne, whose usual confidence seemed to shine brighter than ever, is known to be fiercely protective of his personal life, but it seems like heâs finally ready to share a bit more with the world, at least when it comes to Snow.
Snow, on the other hand, has always been fiercely private about her love life, but judging by her body language last night, itâs clear thereâs more than just friendship between the two. She didnât shy away from Dwayneâs affection and seemed equally comfortable, if not a little enamored, with him by her side.
Whether this is a blossoming romance or just a close friendship with serious chemistry, fans are already buzzing about the possibilities. For now, though, both stars are keeping things under wraps, adding to the mystery and allure of this possible new couple.
Stay tuned as we follow this developing story and we're sure there's more to come from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Snow Marcil. Could they be Hollywood's next power couple? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, weâll be keeping an eye on any updates from their camps. Keep checking back for more juicy details!

The morning air outside was cool but crisp as Snow stepped into the studioâs grand entrance, her tall frame feeling grounded and electric. Despite the early hour, there was an undeniable excitement inside her, a buzz that stirred in her chest. This wasnât just another day; this was the culmination of years of work, sacrifice, and growth. Today was her day. She was going to be on the cover of Cosmopolitan, one of the most iconic magazines in the world.
Snowâs footsteps echoed in the hallway as she walked toward the makeup and hair team. She moved with quiet confidence, but inside, she was buzzing with a mixture of emotions. She had spent the past few weeks fine-tuning the details for this photoshoot. Every inch of the set, every wardrobe piece, every concept had to speak to who she was as a woman who had conquered the world of professional wrestling and simultaneously built an empire in business. It wasnât just about looking good though, of course, she knew how to do that, it was about showcasing the multi-dimensional woman she had become.
Nini, her assistant, moved swiftly beside her, reviewing the schedule one more time before they headed into the makeup room. Snow barely glanced at the sheets, she was used to the well-oiled routine that Nini had meticulously crafted for her. Niniâs role was more than that of an assistant; she was Snowâs right hand, who helped curate the narrative of her day-to-day life, ensuring that every aspect of her personal and professional image was coordinated with precision.
"Youâve got a three-hour photoshoot lined up, Snow," Nini said, handing her a clean, neatly bound schedule. "Then weâll go into the interview. Weâve made sure thereâs nothing invasive. The questions are designed to show who you are but not to dig too deep into personal stuff. Just a heads-up: theyâre pushing the âfitness and self-careâ angle. Youâve been talking about your routine non-stop lately."
Snow grinned, adjusting the small leather handbag slung over her shoulder. "Iâve earned the right to talk about it," she replied, the words slipping out easily as she walked toward the glam room. She knew the media was always hungry for the personal stories behind the success. But she also knew that being strategic about what to reveal was just as important. There were facets of her life she intended to keep behind closed doors.
Once Snow entered the glam room, she was greeted by a team of experts who immediately set to work. Snow sat down in the plush chair in front of a large mirror, adjusting her posture and running a hand through her hair. Chanel, her head makeup artist, moved toward her with a quiet, professional air.
âReady for your close-up?â Chanel asked, her eyes already scanning Snowâs face for the best angle to accentuate her features.
Snow nodded. "Ready as Iâll ever be."
Chanelâs brush strokes were precise, and the motions of applying makeup were calm and soothing. Snow closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and allowed herself to momentarily disconnect from the chaos outside. It was rare for her to feel at peace amidst such a high-octane schedule, but in these moments, surrounded by people who understood the art of creating a perfect look, she could take refuge in the process.
The makeup was soft but sophisticated, a perfect balance between her bold persona and her softer, more reflective side. Her lips were painted with a nude gloss, her cheeks subtly contoured to highlight her natural bone structure. Her eyes, however, were the centerpiece: smoky but not overwhelming, with just enough depth to make her gaze magnetic. Chanelâs steady hands applied a shimmer to her eyelids, catching the light and giving her eyes a subtle gleam.
Meanwhile, her hairstylist, Erika worked with meticulous focus, weaving Snow's thick hair into smooth, flowing waves that tumbled effortlessly over her shoulders. The style was modern yet timeless, a nod to her elegance, with a hint of rebelliousness.
"Perfect," Chanel said as she stepped back to assess her work, a smile creeping onto her face as she saw Snowâs transformation.
Snow looked at her reflection, taking in the result. The woman in the mirror wasnât just the wrestler or the businesswoman, it was Snow in full bloom: polished, poised, yet undeniably fierce. She felt like she could conquer anything. And that feeling, more than anything, was what she wanted the world to see.
Stepping onto the set felt like stepping into a dream. The studio was bathed in soft, diffused light, the perfect atmosphere for capturing the spring-inspired looks that had been curated for her. A team of photographers, assistants, and stylists were already busy at work, tweaking lights and adjusting props.
Snow couldnât help but take a moment to appreciate the effort that had gone into making this moment happen. There was something special about being part of a team that cared as much about the final image as she did. But beyond the professional aspect, she knew this photoshoot was an opportunity to show the world the Snow they hadnât seen before, fun, sexy, but also confident in her skin.
Her first outfit, a pastel pink oversized blazer paired with a delicate lace bralette was a bold choice. It was playful yet sultry, giving just enough skin to make a statement without being over the top. She loved how it made her feel, how it made her body feel like it was strutting its own runway. As the photographers clicked away, she gave them her best angles, her best expressions, casual yet deliberate, effortless but powerful.
The second look was equally vibrant: a floral dress with a flowing skirt that caught the breeze just right, the perfect image of a woman who was comfortable in the warmth of spring. She spun, twirled, and smiled, feeling the fabric billow around her. For a moment, she allowed herself to get lost in the movement, remembering the carefree moments of her youth.
Between shots, Snow took a deep breath, running her fingers through her hair. She was giving everything she had. Her energy, her essence into this shoot. It wasnât about the clothes. It wasnât even about the magazine cover. It was about her, in that moment, embracing her power and beauty.
The third look was more daring, a fitted black leather jacket draped across her shoulders, paired with a form-fitting mini skirt. It was a statement of strength, of confidence. Snow didnât need anyoneâs approval; she already knew who she was.
As the session continued, she could feel the chemistry between herself and the photographerâs camera. They worked in perfect harmony, and by the end of the two-hour session, Snow had delivered more than they could have hoped for. Each shot was a masterpiece, capturing a different facet of her personality, her sultriness, her wit, and her raw power.
After the photoshoot wrapped up, Snow was led to a small, quiet room for the interview portion. A comfortable chair was positioned in front of a camera, and the journalist, an elegant woman with a calm presence, sat across from her.
"Thank you for your time, Snow," the journalist began, settling in. "I have to say, you look absolutely stunning today."
Snow smiled modestly. "Thank you. Itâs always a team effort. The shoot has been so much fun."
The conversation began innocently enough, with the journalist asking about Snow's rise in WWE and her career as a wrestler. Snow spoke passionately about her love for the sport, the way it had shaped her, and how it had given her a platform to pursue her other passions.
âIâve always loved the thrill of the ring,â she said, her eyes lighting up with the same fire that had fueled her wrestling career. âBut what people donât always see is the hard work that goes into everything else. Itâs not just about being strong in the ring; itâs about being strong in life, too. Thatâs why Iâm so focused on my businesses. They represent my growth outside of wrestling.â
When the topic turned to fitness, Snow couldnât help but light up. âI work out up to three times a day,â she revealed, almost proudly. âItâs part of my routine, my discipline. Itâs not just physical, itâs mental too. It keeps me grounded.â
The interview took a turn when Snow was asked about her personal life. There was a fleeting moment of hesitation, but Snowâs smile didnât waver. "Thereâs someone special," she said but didnât elaborate further. "I try to keep that part of my life private, but yes, there is."
She was asked about her net worth, and with a playful laugh, Snow responded, âAm I a billionaire? I donât know. If I am, Iâm doing something right. But I donât measure success by money. I measure it by what Iâve built and the people Iâm able to help.â
And finally, when asked about a potential WWE return, Snow simply said, "When the time is right, Iâll be back. But right now, Iâm focused on other things." There was a certain mystery in her tone, leaving fans to wonder when they might see her in the ring again.

Snow's ability to juggle multiple ventures whether it's running her own fashion line, co-owning a rum company, or continuing her work with WWE demonstrates her versatility and drive. Itâs that same energy and dynamism that fans believe she will bring to the late-night stage.
The Perfect Fit for the Job
For those who have followed Snowâs career, the news of a potential late-night show doesnât come as a complete surprise. Snow has a natural charisma that shines both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Whether sheâs stepping into the ring, discussing her business ventures, or making a guest appearance on talk shows, Snowâs vibrant personality and sharp wit have always set her apart from the crowd.
With her deep roots in the world of entertainment and her ever-growing influence in the fashion and wellness industries, Snow Marcilâs late-night show could break barriers in the television landscape. She has a unique ability to balance lighthearted fun with meaningful discussions, tackling important topics like ambition, empowerment, and the challenges women face in male-dominated industries.
Industry insiders have also noted that Snowâs deep understanding of social media and digital platforms will likely play a key role in the showâs format. As someone who has successfully built a global brand with a massive online following, Snow knows how to connect with audiences both on and offline. This digital-savvy approach could position her show as a groundbreaking fusion of traditional late-night formats and contemporary online culture.
A New Era for Late-Night TV?
If Snowâs late-night show becomes a reality, it would mark a major milestone in the evolution of late-night television. In recent years, late-night hosts have increasingly leaned into more diverse, inclusive formats that cater to a younger, more global audience. With her diverse background, Snow Marcil would be perfectly positioned to continue that trend, bringing fresh perspectives and new energy to a genre thatâs always evolving.
Her potential late-night show would also likely feature segments that allow her to showcase her broad range of talents whether itâs her fitness expertise, business acumen, or natural comedic timing. Snow has always believed in the power of authenticity, and her show would undoubtedly be an extension of that belief, allowing viewers to connect with her in ways they havenât before.
Whatâs Next for Snow?
As for when Snowâs late-night show might premiere, itâs still unclear. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing with several major networks, and while itâs not confirmed whether the show would air in the traditional late-night time slot or be streamed digitally, fans are eagerly awaiting more details. Given Snowâs commitment to excellence in everything she does, itâs safe to say that whatever direction she takes, the show will be one to watch.
In the meantime, Snow remains focused on her other ventures, from her continued involvement in WWE to expanding her business empire. Still, itâs clear that sheâs ready to step into this new role with the same passion and determination that have defined her career so far. If thereâs one thing Snow Marcil has taught us, itâs that there are no limits to what she can achieve.
A New Kind of Talk Show Host
Whether or not Snowâs late-night show materializes, one thing is for certain: sheâs proven time and time again that sheâs a force to be reckoned with. From her days in the ring to her dynamic entrepreneurial endeavors, Snow Kavana Marcil has shown the world that she is much more than just a celebrity. Sheâs a brand, a trailblazer, and a role model.
And if the rumors are true, Snow is poised to bring a whole new kind of late-night entertainment to the screen, one thatâs as fun, fierce, and unstoppable as she is.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to track Snow Marcilâs exciting new venture into the world of late-night television!

Jacob Fatu as True Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa's primary enforcer was so awesome
the "I LOVE YOU SOLO!" catchphrase hit crazy because not only does the Samoan Werewolf love his Tribal Chief but the masterful method actor Jacob Fatu loves his cousin so it's fake but it's also real
#that's what i want to feel when i watch wrestling: this is totally exaggerated and obviously fake and it is also real at the same time#play what you know#and he clearly knows how to love his family and how to act in a way that will make people clutch their pearls#getting the commentary team to say 'somebody taze this guy he's too dangerous he needs to be locked up' is like breathing to him#he knows what the people want to see when they ask for a monster and he gives it to them#maybe this should be its own post but it's already in the tags#i'll surely revisit the samoan werewolf story and performance many times to come#wwe#jacob fatu#new bloodline

"It smells like snow," I said.
"You can't smell snow," he said, dumbfounded.
"I... what? You can't smell it? You can't smell snow? Is this one of those cilantro things?"
"It's not snowing."
"It will, soon. I can smell it.
"You can't smell snow. And the weather app says no snow."
In the lobby, escaping the winter darkness, we meet another late coworker: a Samoan woman. She's chatting with the night guard.
We have to ask. She agrees with me: it smells like snow. The security guard is perplexed. He thinks this might be a practical joke. He is new.
At home, my son bursts in through the front door. The first thing he says is, "It smells like snow!"
"Hah!" I say, vindicated.
The weathermen continue to say there will be no snow.
The next day, it snowed.
Conclusion: white people can't smell snow coming. Who knew?

this has been the most pleasant visit with my mom I've ever had. no fights in our conversations (yet). what happened to my brother was horrific but like. there is nothing like a family member getting [redacted] to radicalize everyone. she basically fucking said ACAB ("the only good cops either leave or get 'accidentally' killed by the other cops" me: "....sorry who are you") to me. and this bitch is. a republican.
I think we will always have differences in opinion but it is so much easier for us both to not fight right now. and to listen to each other. she's had things happen that make it easier for her to listen to me and I feel so much more compassion and less like I'm talking to a brick wall.
I pointed out something I've said repeatedly and she said it made sense/was a good point, for the first time.
I dunno. it's been ass. but she's moving and painting her living room bright yellow with silver wall glitter so the whole room will sparkle. she had me help with the glitter paint because no one else believed that it would look nice but I did because I could picture the light coming in and hitting it and I knew it would be amazing. the hallway & office will be kelly green and the bathroom will be mint green and one bedroom will be purple. she's using bright colors because she needs bright colors right now. and I love bright colors.
I feel nothing but horrible deep sadness in this house up on the mountain where my parents were supposed to live in the woods with sunlight pouring through all the windows. but the new house looks over a pond. there are geese on the water and sometimes it sounds like they're cackling maniacally and it's off putting but it makes me laugh. her neighbors are really nice and I've learned that in East Tennessee the niceness is not so fake. a lot of people move here to be near the woods and they are not mean or crazy or cruel to people who don't look like them. their government is not representative of them and it's awful but they're so so kind. I'm not so afraid to leave my mom here. I can believe that she's in good hands.
our new beginning is not bad. it's hard. and it's work. and we feel the loss and sadness. but it's not bad.
#adventures in text posts#and my mother is brilliant at finding the people on the edges#samoan family visiting town and one of the men is in a skirt? oh she's gonna introduce herself#woman who volunteers at the jail? that's her new best friend#I remember now: she was the one who taught me to be open and kind to everyone

đ„ Myers Briggs Type: ENFP Agnes has always have that bright and cheerful personality! (all because she doesnât have any TRAUMA) And sheâll always be the one to cheer her friends/team up whenever she sees them feeling down. She loves meeting new people and will be the first one to greet. But donât let her fool you for behind that sweet smile, there is CHAOS behind it.
đ„ Friendly/Welcoming: Thereâs a reason why the Captain gave Agnes the position of greeting new members. Because of her warm and welcoming attitude! Have that great friendly smile to let everyone know that she means no harm! (...maybe)
đ„ Energetic: Most people kept asking of where did Agnes get those energy. Even during training she is STILL going. What is her secret? Thatâs for HER to know and for YOU to find out. đ„ Creative: Drawing is her hobbies and she enjoys it every moment of it. She usually draws in her small notebook whenever she gets bored. Sheâs been drawing ever since she was little! If you want her to draw you, sheâll definitely draw it for you. In exchange for any sweets you have!
Negative Traits:
đ„ Chaotic (in an exciting way): Agnes has that thing of whenever she feels overly excited she wonât control it. Itâs like a child is having a ZOOMIES. If she sees or even feels the excitement that might overwhelm her. Sheâll EXPLODE and go crazy. (not literally)
đ„ Talkative: She can talk about ANYTHING that peeps her interests. But the problem is that she CANâT stop TALKING. The only people that remind her to be quiet are mostly her team or close friends. Because she respected their space so sheâll stop. But with everyone else? Good luck to them.
đ„ Mischievous: You should know that both her and her buddy Nigel always have that mischievous thoughts in their heads. And when you saw that grin on her face. It means things are about to go DOWN.
Skills and Abilities:
đ„ Fighting Style: Hand-to-Hand Combat, Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu đ„ Weapons: M79 Grenade Launcher, M16 and MK14 đ„ Distinct Weapon: Diamondback DB9, Flashbang, Grenades, Pipe Bomb and Esee Izula Knife đ„ Special Skills:
Hyperthymesia: She has great memories. With every little detail she sees, sheâll keep it in her head. And will never forget. So donât expect her to forget those embarrassing moments that she witnessed from you.
Bomb/Demolition Expert: Knows her way of disarming and creating a bomb. And even knows how to destroy things with other materials too besides using the bombs.
Family:
Malohi Falagi (Father, Deceased)
Mele Finau Falagi (Mother, Alive)
Safaia Finau (Aunty, Mele's Sister, Alive)
Pet:
Beauty (Agnesâs cat, Missing)
Trivia:
đ„ Agnes is the ONLY child of the family. So she only grew up with some of her cousins and friends who she considered as siblings.
đ„ Agnes started to love making bombs when she started to make fireworks with her dad when she was young.Â
đ„ She got the nickname âBlastâ from Captain Kanoa Toa. Showing how much she loves to explode things with the bombs she had and create. So from her first impressions with him she got that name.
đ„Agnes also has a thing for sweets. So make sure that you hide it before she steals it from you. And whatever you doâŠDONâT ask her if you want some. Sheâll deny it and give you a warning look. Sheâll share with you if she wants to.
đ„Her parents had always called her a âGifted Childâ because of her showing about her memories. At a young age, Agnes could remember every single detail that was around her. And they are very impressed and proud.
đ„Spoiled. Sheâs been spoiled by her parents. Always. But her attitude is not being a spoiled brat? Nah. Her parents may spoil her but her heart knows when to be thankful with her parents gifts. And she loved them very much deeply.
đ„Agnes had went to jail once in America for making illegal fireworks. She had insisted to her friends that she can make some for their 4th of July celebration. But little did she know that she had created a BIG one. Causing half of the neighborhood on fire.
Backstory:
February 11th, 1999. Agnes had appeared in this world on an island that she had grown up on. With two parents who had loved her until the end. Ever since she had grown up from her home. Her parents had always made sure that she was loved. And would spoil her. Mostly from her dad. Giving her sweets most of the time which her mother scolded him. But Agnes is not like sheâs being a brat of NOT getting what she wanted. She appreciates EVERYTHING that her parents give her!
Her family is a bit poor since her parents don't work but only get a little money from their other family who was supporting them. Her father was a pyrotechnician. Creating fireworks is his specialty and his passion. He told her that an old friend of his who came to the island from China had taught him how when he was running a shop. But it got closed down because of the complaint and the disturbance from people who were using it unnecessarily. So they had to close it and the man had to go back to China. Her father still loves to make it so he usually goes off-island to get some material and make it here at home. And one day, heâll teach HER how to make it. Which Agnes was really excited about.
When Agnes became a Freshman in High School. Her father started to teach her how to create fireworks (somewhere in the safeplace where no one will get hurt or get burned). He also told Agnes that she should take notes since itâll take a LOT of steps to remember how to make it. But she insists that she doesnât need it. Her father just shrugged and taught her how to make it. And once the father is done and let Agnes take her turn. He was shocked to see how fast Agnes was doing and saw she had gotten EVERY single step RIGHT. He has no words on how his daughter even remembers EVERYTHING. So he told his wife about it and she was shocked as well. They did a little test on her about her memories and to their surprise she remembers every little detail of it. So they have called her a âGifted Childâ. This was in 2014 when sheâs a Freshman after the summer.
In her Junior years, Agnes had been helping her dad with his shop and doing her homework which she didn't mind. She has a lot of energy to do both! So sheâs not worried about having trouble sleeping. While helping her dad to close the shop that night. She saw him coughing so badly that it got to the point of him fainting. She quickly called the ambulance as they took him into the hospital. Her mother and her aunt came in rushing to see them. As they all sat down, the doctor had given them sad news that he has cancer. Which it really broke their hearts to hear this. Her mother was devastated at this news while her aunty is comforting her. Agnes also comforts her mother while trying to think of a way to help her familyâs shop. But her father, who already knew the news, had insisted Agnes continue to go to school. In 2016 around October.
And when Agnes had become a Senior when School started. She slowly could see that their money was running low. She wanted to help out but what CAN she do? Thatâs when her prayer was answered when she saw the poster of a SCIENCE FAIR. With some good money that they are going to give out for a 1st place winner! She HAS to participate. So she already told her parents about it and wanted to do the fireworks for her project. Her dad would gladly help her with it. So the two have been working all day and night as Agnes took every single note of detail about making fireworks. And once that day had come for the Science fair. She had presented her project very well to the judge and her parents were there to see her presenting her stuff. She could see the judges were very impressed by her work and how detailing she had said. So they chose her to be the WINNER! Which her parents are very proud of! But it was too soon when Agnes received her reward, she could see her father had collapsed on the floor. One of the teachers had called an ambulance. She was scared and worried that her fatherâs time had come. This was in 2017 around March.
2 months had passed and her father had already passed away in April after that incident from the Science Fair. Leaving only her, her mother and her aunt. Agnes had stayed strong and positive for her mother as she worked hard in school. As she kept thinking about her father so much, she bumped into someone accidentally. She saw it was one of the judges from the Science fair. Seeing the woman in her army uniform. She smiled down at Agnes and told her that she would love to talk with her about the project she did. She doesnât mind and tells her everything she knows about the fireworks. And then the soldier had given her a pamphlet about joining the army. Agnes read it through before she saw the title that says something about bombs and demolition. THAT had gotten her attention. The woman smiled at her and told her everything about being a bomb and demolition expert. Theyâll even pay her high price as long as she serves in the military which Agnes was desperate for. The woman had given her before the summer started since sheâs leaving on the day AFTER the graduation. So Agnes quickly ran back home and told her mother about it because she thinks itâs a GREAT opportunity to help with the financial problems that theyâre struggling with. But her mother disagreed right there. She already lost her husband. She canât lose her ONLY daughter as well. The Aunt also agreed with the mother but sheâs also on Agnesâs side too. For they are struggling with money and most of their family are off-island. So the mother hesitantly agreed with this. Until the day of the graduation, Agnes had already talked to the woman before that day and sheâs ready to go on the next day to join the army. This was somewhere in June in 2017 still and she was 18-years-old when she joined in.
Agnes has been serving in the army for only 2 months and had impressed her higher officers by her skills. Knowing every detail about disarming the bomb and how fast she disarms it. Sheâs also very creative on how to MAKE a bomb out of scratch. Planning which one fits best to demolish the size of any building. So they have put her in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialist. And she LOVES it there.
Until 1 month later, Agnes had gotten called over to join a mission that needed a demolition expert. And thatâs when she met Captain Kanoa Toa. Explaining to her of doing a rescue mission and they needed someone who can make bombs to take down the WHOLE place with the cartels. After they get everyone and find someone that they are looking for. She gladly took this and helped him to take those cartels down once and for all!
After another month later, they have already made a move into the area while Agnes is doing her handy work of placing those bombs in the building. And once she heard the Captain tell her to pull the trigger. Thatâs when she pressed the button and exploded the WHOLE place down. She really enjoys the view though.
And then a few months later after that tough mission, she had received an invite from the Captain asking if she would like to join his Task Force. She gladly took it and was introduced to his sister. The Second-in-Command of the Warriors Task Force. Thatâs the name that her Captain had brought up. The one who he was looking for during that mission. So she had joined as being the WTFâs most fearsome and chaotic bomb maker in the TEAM!

I get white passing is subjective, but as a Samoan it really shocks me that some people don't see that KJ Apa is mixed. Firstly his surname gives it away (but I understand if people aren't aware it's a Samoan name hahaha), but also he looks like the SPITTING IMAGE of his Dad. If he was darker skinned people wouldn't debate it because he has poly features lol.
No yeah it's wild how much heavy lifting having a certain melanation will do for people's racial/ethnic assumptions đđđđ
For the curious, here's a family photo of KJ and his parents:

#kj apa#mixed actors#and tbh yeah his surname is like. sure maybe people are not generally familiar with samoan names specifically but like#'apa' is distinctly Something yknow?

what i didnât remember while watching Fast X
between me and my friend, we were able to figure out who everyone was (and all their various relationships to each other) except:
- who was Little Nobody? could not place him at all but apparently he joined in F8? iâve only seen that one once so I guess I gotta rewatch it now
- who was the guy running the race in Rio? apparently heâs Diogo and was in Fast Five, and I do not remember him, so I guess I have to rewatch 5 again (which Iâve seen many times, but seriously, who is he?)
- why was Shaw so mad at Han? Shaw âkilledâ Han for killing hospitalizing Big Bro Shaw in 6, but then Shaw made peace with Dom and the others, so wouldnât Shaw not be pissed at Han anymore? even when Han was like, Iâm not here to fight you, Shaw kept going at him, but why?
#fast x#but other than that i remembered everyone/everything else relevant for this movie#tho in researching some of the above questions i remembered a bunch of things i forgot also#like Little Sister Shaw- totally forgot about her#and where are Leo and Santos seriously? i miss them#i also totally forgot about Han's ward from F9- it would be cute to see her playing with the other kids in the family#also there's Hobbs's Samoan family (including Roman Reigns)#and prob after this i will totally forget about Abuelita Toretto even though it's the incomparable Rita Moreno who i cherish and respect#f&f#screens#there really are so many people in la familia now đ„°đđ
