hey everyone! gonna keep this short.

i want to introduce you all to samir al-kilani (@sameerblogs11s), who really needs money right now. he lives in gaza with his family, including his paralyzed grandmother.

prior to october 7th, 2023, his family’s home was beautiful! it was built just months before the war. but now it’s been destroyed.

i get really emotional thinking about gaza, honestly. i’m sure a lot of us do. and even now that a ceasefire has been reached, we still need to help. eyes on palestine should stop looking whether the bombing is non-stop or whether the zionist beast has pretended to calm.

namely— the people of gaza still need aid and funds. samir is one of those people.

oh, and if you really need a little extra incentive, whether to donate at all or to donate just a dollar more— here’s one! for any proof of donation of $20 or more to one of the two campaigns listed, i’ll take an art commission of just about anything you could want!

Help Gazan students study remotely!

Hey all, I wanted to bring your attention to an issue that three Gazan university students are urgently fundraising for right now.

They have still been able to study and sit for their exams online, but with the new semester just around the corner, unfortunately the universities are demanding a portion of the fees in advance to allow them to attend.

**Note that the majority of the progress you see on the GFM pages have gone through daily demands like food and water. These are separate short-term goals**

morning mutual aid request: samir al-kilani & family

samir (@sameerblogs11), his 60-year-old grandmother, his parents muhammed and douha, and his four younger siblings haya (age 10), khaled (age 15), abdul rahman (age 17), and imad (age 20) are all trying to survive genocide in gaza, which has not stopped just because of an upcoming ceasefire. samir's grandmother is paralyzed and suffers from several chronic diseases that she requires medication for.

Imagine yourself now living in a dilapidated tent with rainwater seeping in and drowning its bed, and the cold wind blowing through it and tearing its walls apart, and your children are around you clinging to you, unable to sleep and shivering from the severity of the cold and hunger, and you are helpless in front of them, unable to ward off this affliction from them!! How will you feel, when you feel all this helplessness and weakness in front of them!! Samir Al-Kilani (@sameerrblogs): Samir is from a family of 6 and was a uni engineering student. He and his family had only lived in their new house for a month before it was destroyed in a bombing. He wishes to complete his education abroad and support his family. Abdul Rahman Hilles (@abedhilles, hilles-abed): Abdul has a child named Karam. His wife Ola Al-Dahdouh was a journalist. Abdul was severely injured by the same bombing; the sharpnel had seriously fractured his leg, pierced different parts of his body, and damaged the nerves in his hands and feet. Ahmed Alzanati (@ahmedalzanati): Ahmed is a civil engineer while his wife Heba is a teacher. They have been displaced, along with 14 other family members, and some of them have contacted diseases. All we want is to live as people live abroad, with peace as peace prevails abroad.
