do the sdv characters have canonical eye colors or do you just make them up?? i feel like you can kiiiinda see blue in abigail's eyes if you squint but that might just be the whites. i haven't looked that closely tho. love your art and i'm super obsessed with the jojamart series. excited to see my wife abigail if/when you ever draw her lol <3

Eye color in stardew is a bit wild because there are a lot of inconsistencies between the portraits and the sprites. Personally I just kinda go with my heart. Like with Sam who has blue eyes in his portrait and green eyes in his sprite, i split the difference and give him sorta teal eyes (it’s also why i draw him with an orange shirt, it’s yellow in the portrait and red in the sprite)

I agree with you on Abigail’s eyes being blue (i think i drew them purple before, but i looked at her portrait again recently and I think you’re right). And I’m actually working on an Abigail at the moment!! And an Emily, and a Haley, and a Leah, and a Maru, and a Penny ;)

At long last, we have Old Moon as he appears in my TSAMS Celestial Phenomena AU. Mind the ratings.

The original Moon. Studious magician and talented inventor. Fearsome adversary and protector. King of scoffing with derision. Exquisitely clever. Habitually brusque. Unapologetic loner. Allergic to a good night's sleep. Unbridled, never-ending curiosity camouflaged with carefully cultivated nonchalance.

Casts a long shadow simply by virtue of absence. May discover that finding his footing in a family that's changed so much won't be as straightforward as simply showing up. Fears leaving Sun may have tested even his benevolent brother's unerring capacity for forgiveness.

Would walk into hell for Sunrise. Loves his twin without question. Left him anyway.

I drew this on the 15th and at the time of being asked this was the reference board provided so just know there has been some reconsiderations in design from here out. I only posted it so late since I wanted to ask whether they wanted it posted on my account or theirs.

Their powers are a Peregrine Falcon implant though I hope you can tell from the design. Facts about Peregrine Falcons

They can reach speeds up to 200 mph

Their FFF is higher than humans at 100hz rather than 60hz allowing them to see better at high speeds

They can spot prey from a mile away

They have binocular vision - This is a result of them having 2 foveae unlike humans 1 (I’m not going to completely explain the details but look this up it’s cool)

They can see UV lights

I hate that by the end of the books Artemis no longer had one of Holly’s eyes, I understand the plot reasons it happened, but I really enjoyed that connection. What are your thoughts on it?

I’m personally a little bummed by it too, if only because visually it’s cool to picture, and it’s an excellent symbolic representation of Artemis and Holly learning to “see from each other’s perspective”, if you will.

Artemis coming back as a clone is interesting! Really interesting! But I’m bummed that he lost all the physical signs of his journey along the way.
