oh man. it's funny, i used to think that fashion was shallow and superficial and not worth thinking about. but i would get twisted into knots about it because of *course* i wanted to wear clothes that felt good and looked good, it just seemed like a "dumb" thing to be interested in.... i think it's partly internalized misogyny. well, anyway: i resell and trade clothes now, and this past week i've received a few effusive thank you notes from people who i mailed clothes to. like, it made their day, or it was something they were searching for for a long time. and when they put it on they felt transformed! i know that feeling. i am sitting at my computer in my 100% organic cotton black loungewear. and it feels so good. earlier this week i was walking around in my big bud press pants. my vintage sweater. my rainbow nooworks shirt. smiling, being happy.

where was i going with this? well, i don't know. i think some people would like other people to think that fashion is shallow and superficial when it's actually something that goes back as far as human history... textiles... wearing textiles for comfort, practical purposes, self expression... and it can feel easy to feel defeated by modern fashion because of mass market consumerism fast fashion yadda yadda that's just throwing garbage in your face all the time. but if you can find something you enjoy, and other people enjoy it, and you're sharing this hobby. it's like a little handshake. same hat. same hat! literally.. same fucking hat. and that's beautiful

aaaa worked on these a while ago but!! i’ve got a pétronille design finally!! and it was nowhere near as daunting as i expected to be!!!! this was really fun to work on actually. don’t look at that leftmost doodle btw. it’s. Not Great (by my standards for myself at least).

aaaanyways. design notes and greyscale versions below!! most of this isn’t. super set in stone or anything? just Night Ramblings

in terms of colors she’s mostly just a Slightly Edited version of bonnie’s palette. the only noteworthy addition here is the blue (or. well. more like grey actually) i added to her shirt, hat, and waist wrap. no real reason here, i just thought it’d contrast well with her colors!!

i also kept her outfit pretty similar to bonnie’s! bonnie’s official ref mentions that their shirt is too big for them so! i think it’d be cute for all of their clothes to be hand-me-downs from nille🩶. i imagine she cares more about practicality than fashion, so her outfit’s pretty simple! breathable clothes she can move around in, a bag to hold her stuff, and a hat to keep the sun out her eyes.

generally went for more. blocky??? shapes here? i wanted to set her apart from bonnie! idk. not much to say here!

this didn’t affect her design That Much outside of the bandages on her hands, but she’s rock type here! it just Made Sense with her hammer. in hindsight i wonder if that influenced her design being more Square…

So I saw a few posts describing how the Pit’s in Jason’s body kinda acted on its own accord when spotting Danny “baby ghost” Phantom/Fenton and how they then co-parent with a half dead “baby” teenager.

But I raise YOU the idea that the Pits is already parenting Jason Todd.

When the Pits take over it’s the simple response of a Mama Bear going feral on some humans for making their little baby upset.

Jason disappointed by Batman?

The Pits snarl and rage at the man that made baby sad!

Jason disgusted at the idea of another Robin lined up for death?

The Pits howl and claw through the skin to fix the situation by beating the humans up so they can’t die!

Jason vulnerable and lost by the lack of acceptance in his return as Red Hood?

The Pits screech, biting furiously into the humans that had caused the baby to feel un-included in their games!

No one understands the reason for the Lazarus Pit’s in Jason’s body to constantly be acting up, that is until Danny comes into the picture and is like, “So your ghost parent is always watching you too, huh?” In reference to his own ghost parent (Clockwork) that likes to watch through his little tv’s on what Danny gets up to and sends a multitude of sticky notes like a distant helicopter mom.
