something, like a head-canon i have, about Shepard that I love is the fact that like Shepard is this huge widely known person. like people just know of them, what they do and perceive them good or bad. but like, this insanely powerful human spectre, who is the model for humanity, is just the bestest of friends with a turian rebel, the literal shadow broker, a quarian genius, the leader of tuchunka, basically the parent of a 'perfect' krogan, a super scary salarian, a world class thief, 2 incredibly powerful and scary smart biotic women, the original blue sun, a fucking justicar, a world class assassin, an ex-alliance/ex-cerberus soldier, literal geth, another fucking human spectre, the best pilot in the galaxy and an ai in a robot body and everyone just doesn't know that?

but can you imagine the amount of people who meet shepard and these weird fucking companions of theirs and god, the amount of shit that get talked.

'hey! guess what?? i just met Shepard!!?'

'whAT, really?? who we're they with? dr. t'soni? garrus? i bet it was garrus, he was really nice when i met them.'

i am irked when fanfiction writers don‘t make squadmember‘s personal lives a secret

for instance i like to assume very few people on the normandy would know about things like:

- garrus entire team being killed on omega

- jack being raised in a cerberus facility and experimented pn

- zaeed founding the suns & being shot in the head

- mordin modifying the genophage

- thane abandoning his son

- miranda being genetically modified and having a twin sister that she rescued when she was a teen

- samara having ardat yakshi daughters & a serial killer daughter

those are highly personal things and i‘d like to think shepard would keep those low profile, and that the people themselves wouldn‘t tell a lot of people, i think some of them would only tell shepard and no one else

So I saw this post and decided to jot down every ambient line I heard during the party in Anderson's apartment. I haven't got any of Ashley's, but I may update when I do a new playthrough. I chose an energetic party. I'm not sure if it changes if I have a more relaxed party.

Also you may notice there aren't any for EDI or Miranda; I could've been silly and not heard it but I didn't notice any ambient dialogue from them. And the lines I do have written down, I may have misheard. In any case, here they are. Enjoy :)
