Had this thought a little while back but keep forgetting to bring it up, do you think Clive is a name Clavell made up specifically for the student persona or do you think Clive could possibly be a first name?

Like, because to all the students he’s just Director Clavell. Most of the time you refer to an authority figure it’s by their position and last name, which I think was when this thought kinda clicked in my head. Thinking, oh so few students probably know, so I’ll just use this name so I don’t have to learn a new one to respond to.

It’s very likely just a name he picked out to use, but I do enjoy the way Clive Clavell sounds.

I just saw one of your fave games is What remains of Edith Finch and I’m so happy! I feel like its a lesser known game but i loved playing through it. I’m so happy to know more than just my small friend group know about this game!

Sorry this isn’t a question. Also want to say that you’re art is amazing and the development of the designs is so interesting to see. Also the way you draw intimate scenes have so much emotion to them. I love the Aj and rarity kissing comic so much, you can just feel their love for each other ;w;

I highly, highly, highly recommend What Remains of Edith Finch to anyone interested in narrative game experiences/"walking simulators." It's one of those games that was handcrafted with nothing but love. Every room you explore is just... real. The way the light flows in and makes the colors of the living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms glow. Playing the game is like walking through your childhood home as an adult and seeing how the dust clings to everything you once touched. Also genius-level gameplay mechanics, ones that can make you completely empathetic with the character you're embodying or feel completely complacent in their tragedy. It's really not fair to call it a walking simulator because it's so much more and so much smarter than that.Everyone talks about the fish one.

The theme of death and memory and storytelling and the burden of invisible trauma and self-fulfilling prophecies is so affecting too. The ending made me cry.

at some point Andrew wanted to upgrade his flip phone, which of course meant he upgraded Neil's too. They got blackberrys (the one with the ball for the trackpad).

They would play the one singular game on the phone trying to one up each other, while waiting at airports and on the plane. Definitely prompted by Neil to distract Andrew, and he knows this but he went along with it anyways.

Today I was only going to play Zelda for a little bit and then go finally start some artfight attacks, but I ended up deciding to finally fight Ganondorf and finish the story (after I got the final few Bubbulfrogs). I’ve really enjoyed this game a lot, and will likely still be playing for some time since I haven’t finished all the sidequests yet. Excited to see all the art and stuff people have been making that I’ve been avoiding looking up in case of accidental spoilers (thankfully nothing that ended up on my dash was spoilers). I will tag any spoilers I reblog. I think I’ve been tagging them “#loz totk spoilers” for the few that I’ve previously reblogged.

that episode of game changer was so successfully unsettling and horror-y like the glitches?? the static layered over the whole thing after enough loops?? the home videos?? the different camera angles??? i love time loops and horror movies and args this is tailored for me. incredibly it took until siobhan said "by the end of this i will know how to play the piano" for me to go TIME LOOP TIME LOOP TIME L. and trapp going "put your little hand in mine ..." as he trudges out for the fifth time and also that loop he repeats everything "grant" says it's all so good and so fucking weird. i said this for bingo but truly they deserve to win an emmy this season my god

rewatching the jackisodes of s14 and can i just say. every. single. time that i go back to the show, it makes all the fanon/fandom jack stuff so much funnier to me bcuz fanon jack is some flanderized steven-universe ass pacifist who cries when he sees his shadow and wants everyone to be friends all the time and canon jack is like. "dean you dont understand if i dont go on a hunt [and kill something] soon im actually going to rip my teeth out okay" and then he uses sams buddy system to blackmail dean into doing a zombie case with him while fully going behind sams back about the whole thing and being just a little too excited about a corpse with human bite marks and missing people

seeing sam post a tumblr screenshot on his instagram story was such a jump scare because now i know that he looks through the game changer tag (or his name i guess) means he sees everything we post which means HE’S BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME
