Hey there! Welcome to hell, where I give you my headcanons and interpretations of various Dragon Ball antagonists! There will be a lot. This is a mostly SFW and romantic leaning blog, and while there will be dark themes given the nature of some of these characters, they will be tagged. Requests will be taken, but not guaranteed. I will do most characters though (so long as they aren't "heroes"), so don't be afraid to ask!! DBZ and TF2 Crossover

I love DBZ and TF2 so much! These duos share several things in common, so I wanted them to converse together a lil', maybe they'd be friends, and antagonize the others. Sniper and Jeice are both Aussies (well, I mean, Jeice in the English dub has an Australian accent for some reason, and is from Space Australia in DBZA) and they both share a red/warm color scheme. Spy and Salza are both French (like Jeice, Salza has a French accent for some reason in the English dub, and is from Space France in DBZA) and the both share a blue/cool color scheme. (yes, I drew Jeice and Salza here, they are not cut out from any scenes of DBZ, I also overlaid a film grain texture over them and the Namek background to capture that old anime look, VS. the smoother rendered look of the Sniper and Spy, who are from a game) Reblogs and feedback is greatly appreciated! Pride Month 2024 - Day 14

Shin is a trans man who uses he/they, and he’s gay.

Frieza is nonbinary and uses he/they pronouns. He’s on the aroace spectrum and is bisexual with no strong lean either way.

Ginyu is genderfuild and uses any pronoun, most of the time he just uses he/him. He’s pansexual.

Jeice is a trans man who uses he/him, and he is also gay.

Burter is bisexual with a masc lean.

Recoome is on the aroace spectrum and is indifferent to the idea of relationships.

Guldo is bisexual with strong fem lean.

Cooler is nonbinary and uses he/him pronouns. He learns later in his life that he’s bisexual with a fem lean.

Salza is gay.

Pinich is a trans man who uses he/him, and he’s pansexual

Salza x Reader HCs (The Basics)

SFW!! My interpretation.

Salza is absolutely a romantic, and in the traditional sense as well. He knows how to treat a partner and make someone feel special. Between surprise small gifts, uninterrupted quality time, attentive listening, and making the effort to engage in soft and intimate moments, he really does know how to act. He loves to give glass flowers as gifts, and go on long and carefully planned out dates. He knows his work can certainly be in the way, but that won’t stop him from valuing you as he believes you should be. 

His love languages are quality time and physical affection. Gift giving, words of affirmation, and acts of service all come after, in that order. Don’t get me wrong, he’ll do it all, but he does have go-to ones. He loves to spend time with you, and often engages in showering in you whatever love you’ll let him. He enjoys holding hands, but even more likes to lean you onto him and hold you if you’ll allow it. He cares about your boundaries though, and will never push you to accept his default expressions of love. He likes to kiss your face as well, and never leaves without a proclamation of adoration and a kiss to your hand. He does like to make life easier for you, and would not hesitate to hire someone to take over your duties or to supplement your living, if you even slightly indicated that was something you’d enjoy. 

When Salza realized he harbored genuine romantic feelings for you, he had to take a day to process it. He was a bit distracted in his work, and while he got it done, his mind wandered to if it was a real and genuine thing. He actually went to talk to you after the day was over, and really pondered how he felt as you two spoke. After the evening was over, he determined that how he felt was true, and he wouldn’t hide this from you. He did value you deeply, after all. You won his heart, and he wanted you to have it like a trophy. 

After he made this decision, he began to give you little thoughtful things and express more steady enjoyment of your time. He also made sure to spend more one-on-one time with you, and plan for hang-outs that could be easily defined as dates. He waited to see if you seemed to enjoy him and his time like he did yours, but eventually did end up spilling his heart out to you before you had the opportunity to inquire properly. 

His view of you is simply stated in “his beloved”. He admires you in a way, and always values your time. He thinks of you as a true life partner, which does mean that he thinks you are the right person to tackle all challenges with. He’s ready to pledge himself to you, to go through thick and thin. Not unlike a peculiar little knight. He adores you deeply and everyone around him knows it.

He likes to give generally small gifts unless you ask for otherwise. Glass roses, sentimental jewelry, self care items, hand-written letters (sometimes even poetry), and so on. He really likes to pick gifts out. But, he’ll easily drop large amounts of money on a gift for you if it’s something you’ve expressed desire for. He values you and the things you care about, so taking the time to listen and act upon a little of your wish fulfillment is never something he hesitates to do. 

When he first got to know you, he simply took the time to listen to you talk. He likes to do that, to give you his full attention and hear you when you speak to him. He also enjoys making sure that you know he remembers. But aside from that, he asked a lot of questions and waited patiently for answers. He thinks the best way to know you is for you to tell him yourself, but he never minded sitting or waiting nearby while you did things. That also taught him a bit about you, your routines and all. 

Salza deals with most emotions pretty well. He manages to process things in a mature and reasonable way, without lashing out too often. In his job, that’s a little different, but he doesn’t really hold the same conviction in his regular state of being. He likes to think things through, and both rationalize and experience what he feels. He thinks it’s the easiest way to do it. He can shut down his emotional responses in certain situations, but tries to keep that in the workplace rather than outside of it.

He certainly says “I love you” first, and he damn well makes sure it’s drilled into your brain before he’s done. This being said, he doesn’t say it excessively, maybe twice a day on average. When he leaves, and before he goes to sleep. And sprinkled in otherwise. He thinks you need to know, but also really only does it when it crosses his mind to. He’ll also say it back whenever you say it to him.

To make him feel valued, you really only need to give him quality time. He does deeply enjoy physical affection too though. Combing your hands through his hair, or letting him hold you, make him feel very cared for. Most acts of affection you show will work though, as he can easily register them as what they are even if they’re not his ideal ones. 

Salza is someone who will do quite a lot for a devoted partner. He would throw himself into quite a lot of danger for you, and get his ass kicked if need be. He certainly would kill for you, and any material item you wanted is not off limits for him either. When it comes to defying Cooler, you may only get a little bit of that. He doesn’t like when his strongest loyalties conflict. You can talk to him about a lot, he’ll take the time to hear you out and truly consider your request. Asking him for change isn’t hard. 

A proper conversation is all it really takes to get Salza to see your side. He’s not bad at understanding things, and does try to keep an open mind for you. He doesn’t like when things have to escalate to be discussed, but your emotions won’t be invalidated by him regardless. Tears can certainly move him, but not as much as you may expect. 

I actually think that being with Salza wouldn’t really ruin anyone? Not too much anyway. He might be able to make your morals a bit worse, but he’s a good partner and does have some sense of care. You can certainly soften him a bit, and while it’s not enough to break what he does, he will hear you and is willing to change for you, too. 

His way of showing off is actually quite silly. He loves to show you how smart he is. He knows you’re aware of his power and capabilities, and he’s content with that. But he really wants you to know how smart he is. Between switching languages, teaching you random things about obscure places and times, and so on, he wants you to see that he is a bit of a package deal.
