Honestly, no truer words have been spoken.

It’s such a crazy thing to think that what I and my GP thought at the time was a minor infection ended up impacting my life so drastically.

And it’s something that I find so hard to explain to people- especially when it comes to not being able to do all the things I used to be able to do anymore…

Becoming chronically ill because of a virus or infection is such a surreal experience. One day, you were fine, and then after developing a simple cough, cold, or stomach flu, your life was changed forever.

It took me over a year to get a doctor to order me a tilt table test, as many told me that I had either anxiety or that nothing was wrong with me.

And yet, after twenty minutes on the tilt table, surprise surprise, it confirmed that I have POTS.
