Today me and my boyfriend were finally able to start our salsa class.

My parents met and fell in love through a salsa dance class and went to Cuba for their honeymoon, and I always saw them dancing together at home growing up, so I feel as if it was part of my upbringing in a way.

We struggled a lot to coordinate today, but we absolutely loved it, I look forward to learn this new skill and experience this new way of moving my body.

I hope it will a good way to strenghten our bond and to improve my mental health.

It also was a goal for this school year so: ✅️ check.

Today I'll talk about Salsa! Another genre from the south-west.

I am NOT good at dancing this. It's so sad because every time I travel around this places you see people constantly dancing, and I can never dance with 'em. It's in my bucket list to learn how to dance salsa, though it is so hard"" 😢😢😅😅

Anyways, here's an album by a famous Salsa artist, Willie Colón. He has other great songs, but so far, this one has the bests. I specially recommend "Buscando Guayaba" (Looking for Guava in english).
