“This collection is an attempt to create a tangible connection to this place suspended in time, while also imagining it as a futurist fantasy.” The latest collection by New York based duo Apparatus Studio, Act III, is a studious and intense personal foray into cofounder Gabriel Hendifar’s Iranian cultural heritage. The result is a stunning 20 piece collection debuting during Milan Design Week comprised of lighting, furniture and limited edition small objects, the latter designed in collaboration with @shirin_ehya but put on hold due to political sanctions. At this year’s Milan International Furniture Show  Moroso presented nine collections by such talented designers as Patricia Urquiola, Daniel Libeskind, Alfredo Haberli,  Doshi&Levien, Tord Boontje, Front, Edward van Vliet, Scholten&Baijings and Mermelada, a young, highly creative Spanish firm. There was also  new, rock ‘n’ roll-style products from the Diesel Living creative team.

Salon del Mobile week is always my most hectic times of the year.

I never get to properly enjoy Milan. This time, as I was focusing on primary brands and companies with which I developed great relationships, I tried to keep a couple of spots empty for me to enjoy my favorite city. During these little spots, I run to my favorite places like Milan Cathedral, The Gothic cathedral that took nearly six centuries to complete. My mind is constantly preoccupied with what I’m preparing next. This year is going to bring big changes and I hope you’re ready for them!

I chose to put on my spring pinkish and white coat that I wore as a dress, the fur pocket gives it a fashionable twist. Combined with my Maison Michel Hat that uplift it the  look to a more dressy yet trendy one. The Chanel Mitaine brought a more chic blend. Stilettos remain the must have pair for every lady closet, and those Louis Vuitton white and silver not only bring an elegant touch to my look but also are too comfy.

Milan, I miss your artistic vibes already!
