headcannon that when you die, your vision of the world stays the same as the day you died — no one really noticed this, until sally started talking about the snow on the ground, how she started asking questions of how are you not cold? the snow hasn’t lifted? — frostbite crawls up her throat, and her voice always stays quiet, scratchy, muted, as if she had been screaming for hours.

One day, she asks a simple question — how come you guys never drag snow in from a mission? Surely it sticks to your boots?

Some of the people in the mansion have tried to tell her that the snow has been melted for months now, but it never goes well: lights start flickering, her body starts fading in and out— the glass cracks, her vision blurry, yet her voice loud says — it is, can’t you see? can’t you see the snow?

Maybe it’s a plea, for someone to reassure her that her death wasn’t long ago, that the seasons haven’t changed multiple times sense her death. Maybe it’s a pray to make sure that she hasn’t been dead for long, maybe it’s a hope that her body can be found: a hope that her mother will find her soon enough.

We’re gonna ignore how long it’s been since the last HC post ok?

Honestly idek what to say here about Sally as a character. The fandom has dragged her through the mud and back, not to mention her creator is…. That. But I’ve already included her in my HCs list, and I do have some things rattling around in my brain about her.

For clarification, yes, my Sally does follow the original story, but I’m going to try to steer away from that specific aspect of it, because I am a firm believer that you do not need to put CSA/SA into your horror media to make it scary, especially as a victim of CSA myself. However, I’d say Sally is a warning for those kinds of topics in and of itself unfortunately.

Depressing ass rant over, here are the headcanons you freaks

For all intensive purposes, that is still very much a child

If you had to ask those around her how they perceive her, Sally most often looks like a seven year old little girl with a glaringly large brain injury. Goopy brains, bulging eyes, and a fuckton of blood included

It does go further than that, though. The closer someone is to Sally, the more “normal” she looks

For example, to LJ and Nina, she looks like a normal little girl, sans a physical form

But for someone like Jane, Sally looks like a very grotesque victim of violence

Every one else sees her in between

For some odd reason, Sally has a particular effect on those around her that make them more susceptible to feeling pity and a sense of empathy and care for her

It’s an unconscious thing, Sally isn’t doing it on purpose, and those around her can’t control their emotions once in Sally’s vicinity

Unlike Nina, there is an explanation for why Sally has this effect on people

Add the cult centered around [REDACTED] to your bingo card folks, because they tried to fuck with Sally after death too

Unlike with Jane and Liu, the cult didn’t want to resurrect her to become a new follower. Instead, they wanted to make an example for how good their god is by bringing back such a poor, innocent youth stolen way too young

Of course, like always, they fucked up

So instead of coming back normally, Sally’s soul is now split into two parts

The normal undead little girl part

And the lesser demon that tried to hitch a ride

It’s not a Liu situation however. Sally is still fully “herself” and in control of her own mind at all times. Her mind is just… a lot more fucked up now. Because now she’s got half a demon functioning as part of her consciousness

It’s not two individuals acting separately, it’s two individuals merged into one. It would be nigh impossible to separate the two now, especially since Sally has gotten so used to feeling the way she feels with the influence of the other half on her mind

Imagine it like mixed paint. You can’t exactly turn green back into blue and yellow by taking out one of the colors, same goes for how Sally is now

So just imagine a normal seven year old kid who also thinks saw trap levels of torment and torture are entertaining. That’s basically Sally’s MO

Like most others, Sally would rather talk about anything else than her past for very obvious and painful reasons

Most know about her past and know not to bring it up, in general and especially around her

Yes these are murderers but we all know damn well they’ve got enough of a moral code to know that the shit that happened to her crosses a line for pretty much all of them

The others however don’t know about the whole half demon thing, and Sally wants to keep it that way

Eyeless Jack is the only one who knows, and has tried to talk to her about it, but considering Sally is absolutely terrified of him, he hasn’t made any progress on it

Sally is scared of Eyeless Jack for two reasons:

Doctors are terrifying to little kids in general. Which Sally still very much is

Sally’s uncle was a doctor

Jack knows about the typical kid fear of doctors, but not about that specific part of Sally’s history

Sally’s uncle being a man of such “high standing” is why her case was dropped fairly quickly. There was no arrest, no trial, not even an accusation

So it’s really no surprise how fast she went after him once she regained sentience

If the other residents knew the full extent of the hell she unleashed on this man, they’d be impressed, in a “holy shit that’s scary” way

LJ likes Sally specifically because of how chill she is when it comes to intense violence. Like he gives her toys made of organs type shit

Sometimes the others forget she’s still a child because of how chill she is with a lot of depraved shit. Ben’s gamer shenanigans, Jason’s demented toys, Jeff’s vulgarity. None of that really phases her. The kid is fluent in swear words too

She doesn’t scare easily, but she does get upset easily. She gets cranky when she hasn’t had enough rest, gets irritable when she’s ignored, and can and will throw a tantrum if you take something away from her

Not necessarily a spoiled brat but a lot of the mansion’s residents would rather appease her demands than deal with a poltergeist who can and will throw sharp objects if you tell her no

Being a ghost has its perks and downsides. On the one hand, she can phase through walls and shit, turn invisible, possess objects, and drops the temperature of any room she’s in

On the other hand, she has an extremely difficult time holding onto any object for longer than a minute. Do not let this girl hold anything because it will end up on the floor and broken

Fellow partial ghost Ben has been seen trying to teach her how to be more stable when making physical contact. It’s still very much a work in progress

Is friends/close with: Ben, LJ, Nina, Jason, Kagekao, and Helen

Has a tolerable relationship with: Masky, Ann, Hoody, Jeff, Liu, Puppeteer, and Clockwork

HATES: Eyeless Jack, Jane

Somehow has no idea who or what Slenderman is. As far as everyone else is concerned, it should probably stay that way. With how unstable her emotions are, most of them dread whatever reaction she’d have to it

Dislikes Jane for the sole reason of her being ignored all the time by her. Sally doesn’t understand that Jane is subconsciously aware of her half-demon nature and is thus avoiding her for that reason. Sally just thinks she’s being a big meanie

She’s in shambles over the fact she doesn’t need to, or is able to eat anymore. Do y’all know how badly this child would kill for a grilled cheese or a snickers bar? It’s agony for her. Anything she bites into and/or swallows just phases through her onto the floor. It’s sad to watch, if she even bothers to try it anymore. After the first few times she’s kinda given up hope on that front

She does like that she can go inside shit. She loves possessing her stuffed animals and walking around as them

Haunting the TV is also a fun pastime. Nothing like changing the channel on Jeff while he’s watching the news broadcast on one of his murders and seeing him flip out over it

Headcanons !

Honestly, I don’t see Sally acting like a child after everything that happened to her. She’s more ‘broken’ and not the same after everything that happened to her. Being more mature than other children her age, she doesn’t feel relatable or the same as other younger people so she just keeps to herself mostly.

She has a massive distrust towards men, specifically older ones, after everything that happened with her uncle and feels like adults don’t listen to her no matter what she has to say.

Once she used to find the dark a scary thing to be out in, but after realising the dark can keep her hidden she finds a form of comfort in the dark.

Even though she has little to no trust in men at all, she sees Ben Drowned and Jeff as an older brother even if they tend to find her annoying sometimes.

Sally likes to draw in her spare time, except the drawings to an average person would seem quite disturbing as she uses her hobby to express how she feels and a way to try and vent about her trauma without putting trust into somebody to speak about it.

She refuses to be alone with males out in the open and EJ has so far been the only adult male that can get somewhat close to her as he makes it a point to be a distance away to make her feel comfortable.

Her favourite movie is Frozen because she sees Elsa as an idol for ‘we don’t need a man at all’

BEN drowned headcanons

hey so the pull said yes so imma give you My BEN drowned headcanons

Warning - one of these mentions s3lf h4rm but not like, in detail. It’s mainly talking about his emotions in that one.

BEN has long hair, like not very long, like about three - to - five inches beyond his shoulders. He puts it in small ponytails sometimes:)

he does smoke weed, but he’s not a chainsmoker/stoner. He only does it like, once a week when he’s particularly stressed.

he paints his nails sometimes, usually black.

He likes video games… …ok, I lied. He LOVES games. He’s also kinda good at them - ok I lied again, he’s is GOD at video games. Well, Nintendo that is. Which leads me into the next headcanon-

he once played Minecraft with Herobrine. He legit couldn’t figure out how to mine wood😭 he can’t play EA, Sega, Mojang, et cetera. It’s hilarious watching him try… he can beat any Nintendo game, he’s perfect at Nintendo and has every Nintendo game, console, comic, anime, YouTube video, etc. on his shelf. Oh, also the merch. Yet, he still cannot do any other company. He just knows the way Nintendo writes their games. (Talking to every NCP, big worlds, no-skip dialogue/loooong no- skip cutscenes, etc.) any other way a game could be written feels foreign to him, I guess. Like Minecraft, he was so confused when the villagers and zombies didn’t have dialogue lol.

The reason he ended up latching on so hard to Majora's Mask is because of the stress of being born into a cult, his cult (the Moon Children) are known for blood letting and their gore-involving rituals. He became slightly skeptical and that’s why he was killed (or ‘sacrificed’) by the Father when he was. His only escape from this madness was his friends (pre-death Lost, Glitchy Red and Strangled Red and Herobrine. They were the gaming clique, although his friends weren’t in his cult.)

he’s a crossdresser, you can’t change my mind.

he has a really cool Princess Peach cosplay but doesn’t wear it out bc he’s trying to protect his ‘bad boy tough guy’ reputation. Only Lost has seen the cosplay, since BEN only really opens up to Lost.

BEN struggles with s3lf h4rm. Herobrine (the game pastas consider him like a father, G. Red even calls him Dad sometimes) is the only one who knows about this and tries his best to help. BENs issue stems from the blood letting in the moon children having given him a twisted perspective on how to cope with trauma. He’s trying his best.

BEN is fine with showers, but he’s afraid of pools, baths, oceans, rivers and bridges that go over water. (He was dumped off a bridge and that’s how they sacrificed him.)

Nina found her first. She was just sitting in Kate's house when she heard the kid crying. She found Sally curled up under Brian's desk and immediately alerted the proxies.

She was attached to her teddy bear that one of Kate's roommates from College gave her before everything. When it got settled there, she arrived and was very confused and scared.

Due to her age and what she already experienced, everyone keeps her away from most of the violence. But she can teleport and follow them if she stays out of sight

Despite this, she's been appointed as a sort of house guardian when the others leave.

Her nicknames include "Devil Child" from Tim and "bóng ma" (Vietnamese for ghost) from Nina.

She can go through walls and teleport as well as go invisible. This allows her to eavesdrop and spy on the adults when they make plans.

She can sense if Slenderman is nearby better than the others and hides. She's absolutely terrified of him.

Since BEN/Ben and Sally are close, I wonder if Sally can help him torments The Player (y/n, I say).

My BEN is actually more akin to an older brother figure to Sally, so I wouldn’t exactly say they’re close. Sally is far closer to others, like Nina and LJ.

Compared to Ben, she also can’t interact with technology the same way he can. She has your more grounded/normal/typical poltergeist powers, and she can’t enter any electronics at will, nor is she good at manipulating or influencing people.

The most “tormenting” she does is shit talking people on the mic whenever Ben is playing a game with VC.
