Types of Innovations
Ash-Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan (حفظه الله) mentioned:
"Innovation in the religion is of two types:
The First Type:
Innovation of speech and belief. Like the statements of the Jahmiyyah, the Mu'tazilah, the Rafidah and the rest of the misguided sects and their beliefs.
The Second Type:
Innovation in acts of Worship, like worshipping Allah with worship He did not legislate."

When Allah takes care of you, He will take you out of darkness – the darkness of Shirk, Kufr, doubts and heresy – into light; the light of Imaan, beneficial knowledge, and righteous deeds.

The True Love For The Messenger ﷺ
Sh. Salih al-Fawzan حفظه الله إيمانه said:
The proof upon loving the Messenger ﷺ is not just mere claims people make, or celebrations that are done rather the proof upon it is in 4 affairs:
• Obedience to him in what he commanded.
• Refraining from what he prohibited.
• Believing in all of that which he informed.
• Worshipping Allah only in the manner he legislated.

Sheikh al Fawzan حفظه الله said,
"During the end of the month the Salafus Salih would increase in seeking forgiveness
and repent to Allah the Mighty and Majestic and fear of their actions not being accepted.
They would strive in Ramadan and in other than it,
then fear would enter upon them that nothing would be accepted from them.
So they would seek Allah's forgiveness and turn to him in repentance.”

FOLLOWING DESIRES 🚫
Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan (رحمة الله) said:
"Allah says: 'Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god)? And Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight.' (Al-Jathiyah: 23)
Thus, vain desire is another god. Shirk is not restricted to the worship of image or idol; rather, there is something else, which is vain desire. A person may not worship idols, trees, stones or graves but he follows his desires. Such a person is a slave to his desires. He is not an ignorant person; rather, he knows the Book (of Allah) and the Sunnah as well as the sayings of the people of knowledge; but they do not agree with his desires. So, he discards them and takes what conforms with his desires. This is misguidance - and Allah's refuge is sought. So following the desires is very dangerous. Therefore one must be cautious of following (his) desires."

For those who have to spend a lot of time preparing for iftar, this one’s for you. May Allah accept from you!
A sister asked: “The Muslim woman often spends a large portion of her time busy in the kitchen preparing various types of food, so misses out on the opportunities of the month [of Ramadaan]. O sheikh, do you have any guidance for her, and will she be rewarded for cooking?”
Sheikh Salih al-Fawzan replied: ❛Yes, she will be rewarded for this because she is preparing food for the fasting people, and this is from cooperation upon righteousness and piety, and she will be rewarded for this. Cooking and [house] work does not prevent her from saying:
سبحان الله, لا اله إلا الله, الله أكبر
and reciting what she has memorised from the Qur’an. Cooking should not prevent her from the dhikr of Allah 'azza wa jalla.❜
