River Surfing | Salida, CO

I was on a road trip in Colorado and stopped in a town called Salida. It was my first time visiting there. Town has a cool vibe; I did some river surfing and went skateboarding. Salida has some great places to eat along the Arkansas River, it has an awesome wave for surfing and two cool skateparks. There was even a surf shop in town called Badfish that exclusively caters to river surfers….these type of places are one of the many reasons I love Colorado.

Mad but not surprised at myself for staying in bed for a little while then saying “I’ll just go watch the finish” as I’m packing my running stuff. Easy 6 today with some stomach discomfort but well, well worth it.
