Homestead Crater Hot Spring

The Crater is a geothermal spring, hidden within a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock. Over 10,000 years in the making, the crater formed when melting snow on the Wasatch Mountains seeped deep within the earth. Two miles below the surface, the earth’s interior heated the water. As it percolated upward, it picked up minerals, which were then deposited on the surface — eventually forming the volcano-shaped limestone deposit called The Homestead Crater. The hole at the top of the dome lets in sunlight and fresh air while the interior stays heated by the mineral water at a constant range of 90 – 96 degrees Fahrenheit.

Surf Sledding

I tried sledding on a surfboard, boogie board, skimboard and traditional sled. Surfboard worked best and was my favorite.

Autumn

There is a outdoor elevator at the St Regis in Deer Valley called the 'Funicular' it is a great way to view the fall foliage. It was an amazing day, I had great cheeseburger for lunch and pizza for dinner, topped off the day in a hot tub.

Mahalo Malibu

Had an awesome time surfing at Surfrider Beach. It took me a few waves on my first day to figure out there is no lineup, you just gotta drop and go. It’s a spot where it’s every surfer for themselves, so I quickly became the snakest-snake Surfriders has ever seen! It all evened out; I was at a huge disadvantage because myself and my board were half the size of everyone else and what they were riding. Good times!!

Caity Simmers Wins Womens 2024 WSL World Title

It was awesome to be at the WSL finals and witness Caity Simmers win her first world title, and she is the youngest women's champ ever.
