Just in case anyone’s forgotten what happened last time on SBS! ;)

I had a lot of fun coming up with names for the high end brands Akanoha bought with Chib’s credit card. Of course I had to include “Guccicci” and “Channel”, but I contributed my own brands in the form of “Lewis Martin” and “Carter” though the last two letters got cut off during the cropping process. XD The “Kimitan” is a nod to Isetan, a Japanese department store chain which has done a number of Sailor Moon merchandise collaborations in the past few years.

Re: kitsune udon, it’s a warm noodle dish with udon noodles in a broth and a square of sweet, fried bean curd. According to Japanese folklore this dish, or in some cases the fried bean curd itself, is the favorite food of fox demons like Akanoha.

I know there are terrible Usagi-clone, Mary-Sue Sailor Moon OCs out there. But what gets me is when OC ‘critique’ blogs use the fact they have odangos as a way of pointing out they’re a Mary Sue. I don’t know how long it’s been since any of y’all read the manga or watched the anime but A LOT of characters have some form of odango hair style because it was a style that meant a lot to Naoko Takeuchi (it was her good luck charm for exams.). So let’s make a list:

So yeah, whilst odango hairstyles seem to be the style of choice for Moon royality, they don’t have a patent on it. Someone’s OC having an odango style doesn’t make them an ‘Usagi ripoff’ or whatever.

Naruru Osaka and Ruruna Kobe

So I just recently discovered that later on in the Sailor Moon manga, Naruru Osaka & Ruruna Kobe (two of Chibiusa's classmates) dress up as Sailor Senshi themselves to save one of their friends. Because of their shared obsession with fashion, they were nicknamed Sailor Channel and Sailor Guccicci (based off of completely fictional fashion brands, of course).

Conclusively, I need to track this story down and read it ASAP.
