He... I think he was the one who wanted N to beat up Ghetsis after Ghetsis showed his true colors, so he's chill.

I remember him talking about how Ghetsis konda fucked everyone over, and I'm willing to forgive people who were lead astray. Y'know I still think having joined Plasma was messed up, but Ghetsis was a hell of an ekans oil salesman.

it's so funny how forgotten team plasma's seven sages are compared to every other evil team's admins. people only remember zinzolin exists because he interacts with colress in the manga even though he shows up more than colress does in BW2. rood doesn't even have a tag autofill on tumblr. the other four are treated as completely interchangeable if people even remember the sages exist at all. i've literally never seen someone mention ryoku

I think the thing though about that alignment is that its lawful in a perfect world. She’d rather follow the law if its what is morally good yes but if it isnt or needs to be bent/broken to do what is right that’s what she is going to do.

The law only works if it follows good and she’s seen interpol and Unova police not even try to enforce it when it came to Plasma. She’ll also support and standup for the Plasma members that were loyal to N and their efforts in Driftveil. Did they break laws? Yes they were part of an organization trying to over throw the entire league system. But she knows they were doing what they though was right and their hearts were in the right place.

Rood is kinda cool, the others have gone quiet. But if you find Zinzolin's office, fuck it up with extreme prejudice. For Opelucid city.

Not the best but, here's the summary of BW2 of this AU (I'll go by Protag Rosa for this)

Wall of Text Warning

The story is probably altered, but mostly the same (kinda)

By the time of BW2 begins, N was defeated by Hilbert (Protag of BW1) but he turned it down. Finally he has a goal to pursue which he's away from region for a while

By then, he was challenged by Iris and lost the battle. Resulting he was stepped down as a champion and now currently living in Driftveil City (Specifically the building when you obtain Zorua) and created a small organization protecting Pokémon with his sisters as his assistant. Still maintaining a close relationship with Alder

During the intro and until Pre-Nimbasa City is mostly the same. Rosa and Hugh go to adventure, collecting gym badges, and encounters with men/women in in masks claimed themselves as Neo Team Plasma while being assisted by Hugh and several people in the process, meets Iris, and Encounters a man in lab coat named Colress.

By the time Rosa arrived in Nimbasa City, she encounters a man with Christmas Tree hair which she's recognize him as N. Son of Alder and the Pokémon Whisperer (People dubbed him due to ability to understand Pokémon).

After chatting for a while she meets Hugh and introduces him to N (Hugh is a fan of him)

Eventually they encounters Neo Plasma, battle them. Which N notices there's anger in Hugh's eyes which he thinks that Hugh probably have a history with Plasma.

After he battle Hugh finally opens up about what happened 2/3 years ago about his little sister's Purrloin was stolen by Plasma for "Liberation Purposes".

N decides to help him to find his Purrloin and Hugh is extremely grateful for that.

When they reached Driftveil City, N takes them (the same building where he creates his organization) to the building and introduces them of his organization and explains of their purposes. But Hugh finds out that several members of them are former Team Plasma (includes sage Rood)

Bewildered of this, he asks N why which he explains that they are actually believes that Pokémon deserved to be freed from bad humans which he agrees of that. But that doesn't mean that not all humans are bad.

After some explanation, Hugh calms down and reach understanding with N. He left the place to train with his Pokémon. Rosa remembers that there's a gym in the town, so she parts with N for a while.

Sometimes later, after local tournament on PWT, they meet again with N and Hugh notices a Neo Plasma grunt runs towards to the harbor. He decides to go after him despites Colress warning. Rosa, Cheren go after him. Leaving N and Colress behind.

During that time, Colress introduces to him and asks about his involvement with Ghetsis. Surprised by the question and ask how Colress know about it. He reveals that he met him few months ago and can't help that N and Ghetsis are so much alike, but he assures him that Ghetsis is not N's Father in Blood.

N asks him that he's involved with Team Plasma and he answers some other way around. But he told him that the only think he cares about is the Pokémon's true potential. Colress plead to him not to tell to anyone and N relucantly agrees.

Sometime after, Rosa, Hugh, and Cheren returns after the ship flew away, N told them that he has a thing to attend and they part ways for now.

From there until Pre-Opelucid remains he same.

I actually had a different idea and planned to make N become the Champion (since he's been training with Alder ever since he was young to take this position), but I really like the way you've taken the story!

(Still making my way through B&W2 so I'm not completely caught up on events yet...)

But like I've stressed before, all interpretations are welcome!! I love the way you manage to weave the characters & their interactions in, and am excited to hear the rest :D

[Attached: A short clip of N and Blake at the birthday party. Fairy lights are strung up in what looks like a small backyard, and there’s soft, pleasant music playing from a small radio. You can notice some familiar guests moving about the tables of food in the background- Cheren, Alder, Bianca, Anthea, Concordia, to name a few- as well as Sage Rood and a few individuals who are likely ex-Plasma grunts. At one point you catch August and Hugh running by, chasing after a familiar little Zorua carrying a hotdog in its mouth.

Blake and N are swaying together along to the music, underneath the warm glow of the fairy lights that paints both their forms gold. Blake is wearing a simple t-shirt and shorts, and N has on a silky black dress with a ribbon tied around the waist. Their conversation is a little drowned out by the sound of the music and the guests chatting over each other, but you manage to pick up a little of what they’re saying.

“Does the dress fit okay?” Blake asks.

“Yeah-” N pauses to look down at his outfit, seeming to admire it for a moment before returning his eyes to his partner. “You said you helped pick it out? Is that why you were checking your phone so much earlier?”

“Yep,” Blake replies with a bit of a sheepish grin and a shrug. “Your sisters ran over to the local thrift store right after we left. I knew you’d been wanting your own dress for a while, so…”

He smiles down fondly at them, before reaching a hand up to cup their cheek. “I love it, strawberry. It’s beautiful.”

“I’m glad,” Blake’s smile grows, and their face turns a few shades warmer as they clear their throat. “You- you look beautiful in it.”

The two giggle at their own cheesiness for a few seconds, before continuing their relaxed sway. After a while, though, a contemplative look crosses N’s face and his eyes drift to the ground. “Sorry I, um… earlier…”

Immediately knowing what he was talking about, Blake simply sighs through their nose and gives him an understanding nod. “Hey, it’s okay- nothin’ to be sorry for. I know this is all so… new. For both of us, and- especially you.”

“I think I… kinda get too caught up in trying to be a good partner sometimes,” they admit. “-that I might come off a bit… overbearing? After everything we’ve been through together, I just really want you to feel happy and comfortable around me- I don’t want you to still feel guilty about the last two years. But I… I know firsthand those feelings don’t just go away overnight, so… if I ever come off as too much or overstep any of your boundaries, don’t be afraid to let me know, okay?”

“I know,” N assures them, running his thumb along the back of their hand. “I actually really enjoyed today, honest. Just still… fighting back those feelings of hesitance and self doubt all the time. I don’t mean to make you feel like you’re not doing enough- like you said, this is all still so new… But I do appreciate everything you do for me. Truly.”

Blake chuckles, before resting their head against his chest, finding comfort in the sound of his heartbeat. N leans into to affection, one arm winding around their waist and the other still holding their hand.

“You know what?” Blake murmurs. “I’m really glad you’re the one I get to go on this little journey with. No matter how messy it gets sometimes. I’ll fight off a million angry, lettuce-hungry Swanna if it means I get to be by your side through it all,”

N hums in agreement, holding them closer with a hint of amusement tugging at his lips. “You know it was my bird call that made that Swanna back off, right?”

“Okay yeah, but I helped.”

“Sure you did,” N chuckles, before tilting their chin up to press a kiss to their lips. It’s short and sweet, and as they pull away the two heroes of Unova look at each other like they’re the only ones in the world right now.

“…I love you.” N whispers after a moment, resting his forehead against theirs.

“I love you too.”

Dynamics That I’d Like To Explore*

Professional Friendships / Acquaintances - with other Champions, League Trainers, Frontier Brains, etc. (It’s worth nothing that she does her research so she’s usually up to date on who the League-affiliated trainers are in each region). It would be neat to figure out what the different regions can learn from each other. If our muses are both part of the Unova League, I’d love to explore their dynamic (which will be based on Rosa’s view of them before she became champion, and which can definitely change based on present interactions). Also, any muses that are in the show business, as she is a famous actress (and I don’t get to do enough with that). Maybe our muses are playing parts in the same movie or play? Or maybe your muse is into contests (of which Rosa knows next to NOTHING about) and they want to show Rosa the ropes?

Recognition - Rosa has plenty of star power in Unova due to her work with Pokéstar Studios and her status as Champion. Her movies are broadcast in other regions as well, so it’s entirely possible for a non-Unovan muse to recognize her just from seeing her on the silver screen. I’m open to her meeting both fans and critics alike. Additionally, she is a Pasio Ambassador so her face might be recognizable that way.

Rivalries - with other trainers of equal caliber. The other muse doesn’t need to be a Champion-level trainer for this dynamic to exist. There are plenty of powerful trainers out there that just don’t bother with League challenges and Rosa would be excited to come across them.

Former Plasma ties - whether that be former grunts that have had a change of heart like her or grunts that stuck to it and followed Ghetsis to Neo Plasma, relationships of this nature can be either friendly or antagonistic. Additionally, she holds great respect for some former Plasma members (such as sage Rood, Anthea, Concordia, and N) and disdain for others (like Zinzolin), as well as fear of the Shadow Triad and Ghetsis himself.

Antagonistic - this goes hand in hand with the second half of the above, but it can obviously extend to other villain muses (though she would only know that villain muses outside of Unova are villains if it’s something that the mun agrees would have been all over the news at the point in time that interactions occur). Her views of Interpol are also swayed toward the negative, based on her past experiences with Agent Hale Foster and her mother being placed under house arrest briefly during the events of B2W2. Additionally, she has pissed off many a pokémon poacher in Unova due to her efforts to eradicate them from her region (which is actually important to an upcoming plot I have planned out for her).

Found family - her own blood family isn’t very big (reserved mostly to her mother and some family in Lentimas Town; her father returned to Paldea) so I love the idea of her coming to love her friends like family.

Mentor/Mentee - with Rosa filling either of the roles at the corresponding points in her timeline. If she meets trainers from newer generations, she’s bound to take them under her wing. Likewise, if she meets more experienced elites and champions, she will welcome the idea of learning from their experience.

Simple friendships - maybe both our muses are into some sort of common hobby or enjoy the same type of music/movies or maybe they just like to get together to gossip or enjoy dessert together, lots of slice of life stuff.

Places Where Rosa Can Be Found*

Hoenn - she has to travel to Hoenn occasionally for the hot springs to ease the lingering pain from Kyurem’s unmelting ice-induced wounds. She loves to explore the Hoenn wilderness, though… and Meteor Falls is one of her favorite places ever.

Anywhere around Unova - she doesn’t spend all her time in the League. She constantly bounces between the reserves she established (White Forest and Icirrus), the Bring Us Together Foundation she established to help return Plasma-stolen pokémon to their previous owners (Driftveil), and Pokéstar Studios (Virbank). Her primary (but not public-known) residence is in Village Bridge and her secondary (but officially known) residence is in Nimbasa. Sometimes she goes as far as the Trainer’s School (Aspertia) to talk to younger would-be trainers and tends to take some of Cheren’s classes to capture their first pokémon in Floccessy.

Kalos - she spent some time training in Kalos prior to challenging the Unova E4 and Iris. She also occasionally travels for film-related business or gets dragged along to Lumiose by Blue @/evoblue on shopping trips.

Galar - after a few years of championship (and an unwanted encounter with an obsessed fan that COULD have been bad), she takes a sabbatical and decides to disappear from the grid. She travels to Galar to train and explore the area, and also to spectate on the gym challenge. During this time, Iris would be acting Champion in her stead.

Paldea - after learning from her mother that her father is of Paldean origins, she embarks on a trip to learn more about her father’s country of origin in an attempt to understand the man whose absence has always been a painful void in her life. She also becomes interested in trying out the gym challenge as she travels around the region.

Timelines

For the most part, Rosa’s threads will happen in the post B2W2 timeline/during her time as Champion. If you have a Unovan muse and are interested in writing something taking place during the plot of B2W2, I am open to discussion!

For all “Emmet is accused of and put on trial for murdering Ingo” is great whump fodder, the fact is, there’s evidence that incarceration or even what we think of as traditional criminal justice isn’t really a thing in Pokemon Earth. One of Team Plasma’s Sages, Rood, is given the opportunity to atone for his crimes alongside other former members of Team Plasma to return Pokemon they stole to their trainers. In USUM, Lusamine and Guzma endanger all of Alola with their actions and Lusamine doesn’t appear to face any legal consequences and Guzma starts working under Hala.

And Chairman Rose is particularly egregious, imo. While it’s never said outright what happens to him after the main story, Oleana makes a cameo appearance in the DLC where she’s shown looking for Rose, having heard a man who looks like him (actually Rose’s younger brother Peony) was in the area, implying that Rose is a free man. I suppose he could be on the lamb but that doesn’t seem likely, he lost most of his resolve after being defeated. And the postgame antagonists of SwSh, Sordward and Shielbert, are explicitly free and atoning for their actions using their wealth.

Anyways. Point is, Pokemon Earth is a lot kinder than our world, and Emmet’s not going to get falsely accused, probably.

As it may appear you've dug your own grave by mentioning your one time stand with that man, pity, truly. Nevertheless may we inquire the health and lives of the other sages? What are they doing these days, hm?

It wasn't me who brought it up to begin with, it was that delirious teenager. But yes, let the subject be changed at last.

The other Sages are doing well. The children are quite fond of Rood and Gorm, which is good. N was initially scared of Gorm, given how he "introduces" himself by sneaking up and shouting "boo" at people.. But N later came to realize he meant no harm. He is an odd man, but a valued member of Team Plasma.

I hardly see Giallo and Ryoku as of late due to their field work. They stop by to report their latest finding and leave again almost immediately after.

Bronius is taking care of much of our recruiting at the moment, and for that, I am grateful. He's certainly a well-spoken man who knows how to rally the people.

As for Zinzolin, he is how he always is and ever will be. There seems to be no stopping Colress from beating him with a shoe whenever they interact- which I would normally be against, but for Zinzolin, I make an exception. That man constantly undermines me and the rest of the Sages anytime he can.
