Kudos to fanfiction writers for writing about all the trauma and emotional and mental turmoil that the original content creators dont acknowledge when putting characters through hell

did I just spend one full hour creating avatars for my characters instead of writing, or even studying for my finals?

you’re allowed to settle for a calm life, despite people on social media making it seem like you should do all these adventurous things. you don’t have to travel far and wide in order to be happy. you don’t have to have an amazing career in order to be proud of who you are and your life. live your life the way you want to, calm lives are good. a calm life is what i’m aiming for.

The Wish of the Masters - welp

My novel is following 3 different narratives, and I cannot erase any of them otherwise it won’t be the same novel but I absolutely do not know how to put them together

I’ve spent all day making a timeline of the events following each narrative, and now I’m just so lost because each of them could be a novella, but I want them to be all together and intertwined I’m freaking ouuuut

Day 41828 WELL well. I’ve literally written nothing for the past ten days. Had so many things to do, and deal with my mental health and problems at uni, I just forgot to write. I feel kinda bad about it, but I’m basically given up this year’s NaNoWriMo, but I know it’s for good reasons

can't wait until i have a wife so i can say "i love my wife" and introduce her to people by saying "i'd like you to meet my wife" and get out of boring social engagements by saying "i have to go home to my wife" and talk about her to anyone who will listen to me because she's my wife and i adore her

Day 5 I wrote 0 words today. Had a massive day in university (10 hours) and once I came back home my vision was blurry even if I had my glasses on. Not a good sign. So I just went to sleep! It’s only the fifth day, but self-care is key and I won’t force myself to write if I feel exhausted and can’t even function proprely any more

Day 3 / 4 had a couple of rough days but I managed to write all of my words! The fact that I’m doing two projects at the same time, and thus have to write half of the amount of words per day helps so much. I’m not as frustrated and I do feel more creative!! I have hope for this year’s NaNo
