This is a lovely painting I did a couple of months back and then gifted to my mother for her 60th birthday. It hangs in her living room in Denmark now, and the photos are thanks to my wonderful brother. 

The painting has a TON of gold in it, which is really hard to photograph! Really the best way to experience is to see it with the changing light of the sun hitting it. I may ask my brother if he can make me a recording of the painting, but for now, have these photos.

So aside from drawing HORSES ALL DAY LONG, I have a different project that I work on with my boyfriend, a webcomic called ‘Freedom’. It’s currently on hiatus while we work out some story kinks and I get a better grasp at the art. In combination with my depression the project really wore me down, but I’m beginning to get the hang of this thing again!

Huge parts of the story have been re-written, some characters have been kicked, others changed majorly and new faces have joined the cast. I don’t think we will ever go back to updating once a week, but rather we’ll stick to updating whenever there is a new page. Sure it will go a little slower, but it will keep me from running out of steam again <3

Anyway! This is a sketchy lineup of the cast, with some faces still missing. The two elves (elvari in the comic world), the first dude and second to last, are our main characters Will and Thyrian. I’m looking forward to sharing many more sketches!

Last horse dump for today! Maybe. Who really knows what the day will bring.

Ianthe is my newest SA character, and I love her to bits! She’s an absolute dream to colour with her rainbow feathers and doodling her is just so calming. 

Also tried to imagine what my character Daemyn might look like as a human. Fun times!

Another bunch of, you guessed it, Starborn-Alignment characters! These were a great exercise in expressions and so much fun with all the gorgeous character designs. My fellow SA players are so darn creative!

Aaah Fletcher, another horse character of mine, for that same dA group; Starborn-Alignment.

Fletcher is a follower of the chaos god Digend and believes that causing as much discord as possible will one day bring his god into the world of Hireath. He’s got a bunch of equally crazy friends, and I can guarantee that they are never up to any good. Although Fletcher prefers to cause chaos by breaking down an individual from the inside out (mentally), he won’t shy away from a good old-fashioned murder.
