Narrative decision aside, it is WILD to me how Double Exposure makes you decide what happened to Chloe and/or Pricefield through a dialogue branching conversation with Safi and then they just MOVE ON just like that. The conversation basically goes:

Safi: what’s with the photo of the blue haired girl you keep in your wallet?

Max: she was my friend/gf 😊 But she died/we broke up 😔

Safi: oh damn 😟

Safi: SO HOW ABOUT AMANDA ???? 😜

Like, what? How is this a well written or realistic conversation in any way? Why doesn’t Safi express her condolences or even apologize for prying in the first place? Most Pricefield fans have lived with this ship for nearly a decade. Now Double Exposure wants you to get over it in an instant to decide whether your Max has the hots for Amanda (who has had a grand total of 60 seconds of screentime so far???)? Please make it make sense.

The only reason I don’t think Max and Safi ever hooked up is because Max is so fucking thirsty for Amanda, I refuse to believe she has had any sex since Chloe broke up with her.

If not for this detail, I would fully embrace their “got drunk one time and agreed to never speak of it again for their friendship” status.

It honestly wasn’t that bad I give a 6.5 out of 10

I liked it more than before the storm, if I could physically fight a video game I‘ll fight Before the Storm

First three episodes were pretty great but I felt like they were rushed to finish the last two, they were brief and I felt like they wanted to do more but weren’t allowed to

Wish we got a glimpse of thirty year old Victoria but I’m satisfied with her thriving in both scenarios, I miss Kate though

It’s so intriguing how the relationship between Max and Safi changes towards the ending. Or more in how Safi see Max. She finally feels like she is not alone, she feels some special bond to Max who she feels she can relate to cause they both have powers/dealt with loss. In the beginning they’re good friends but they don’t actually know each other.

I wanna see how this progresses in the DE sequel. Are the gonna become enemies but then end up saving each other and reconcile?
