Safety Video – Health and Safety Training Videos for the oil and gas industry
The oil and gas industry is known for its unique and challenging working environments that require a high level of health and safety awareness to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of workers. This is a crucial industry for the economy of the Middle East, and employers should look to improve their workplace safety in any way they can.
Health and safety training is a critical aspect of the industry that helps employees understand the potential hazards they may face on the job and how to prevent accidents or injuries. Training videos have become a popular tool for delivering health and safety training in the oil and gas industry. Mostly, it’s due to their ability to convey complex information in an engaging and easily digestible format. Here at Studio52, we’ve gone a long way in helping many industry names to improve their safety issues.
In this article, we’ll be discussing how our videos can help you achieve that extra layer of safety at your rigs!
1. They Capture The Attention
When it comes to learning, people tend to have different preferences. While some might enjoy reading lengthy texts or listening to a trainer, others may find it tedious and unengaging. On the other hand, watching a movie or video is a more visually stimulating way to learn. It has been found that the majority of individuals would prefer to watch a video or movie over other learning options.s
In the context of workplace safety, traditional training methods like lectures or written materials aren’t as effective in engaging employees. It’s easy for them to become disinterested and zone out during lengthy safety lectures, ultimately leading to a lack of retention of crucial information.
This is where safety animation videos come in handy. Safety animation videos use vivid graphics, thrilling sound effects, and interesting voiceovers to convey crucial safety information in a way that is both captivating and easily digestible.
By watching these videos, employees can learn and retain important safety information without putting in much mental effort. The engaging format of safety animation videos ensures that employees stay focused and interested throughout the training!

2. Dangerous Situations Presented Easily
The oil and gas industry is notorious for its complex and hazardous equipment, which can lead to accidents and injuries for workers if proper safety measures are not implemented.
One potential solution to this issue is the use of safety animation videos. These videos offer a visually stimulating and engaging way to educate workers on safety standards and procedures. By recreating dangerous scenarios in a virtual environment, safety animation videos allow workers to visualize potential hazards and how to effectively handle them.
While it may not be possible to recreate certain life-threatening situations in real life, safety animation videos can accurately simulate these scenarios in a controlled and safe environment. This approach enables workers to witness and understand the gravity of the situation without being exposed to any actual danger.

3. Allows For An Easy Access
In today’s technology-driven world, smartphones have become an indispensable part of our lives. People carry their smartphones with them wherever they go, whether at work or home. Given this, animated safety videos have emerged as a highly effective training tool that can be accessed by workers anytime, anywhere.
One of the key advantages of safety animation videos is their convenience. Watching a video does not require much time and can easily fit into the busiest of schedules. Workers can watch these videos during their downtime, such as during breaks or while commuting to and from work. This flexibility means that workers can easily access the training material whenever it is most convenient for them.
Moreover, the ability to watch these videos multiple times allows workers to effectively retain and recall crucial safety information. Repetition is a key factor in learning, and watching a safety animation video multiple times helps reinforce important safety concepts and procedures.
4. They’re Cost Effective
Ensuring the health and safety of workers is a top priority for any responsible organization. However, investing in traditional training methods such as real-life demonstrations or videos can often be expensive, time-consuming, and challenging to coordinate. This can create a financial burden that many organizations may find difficult to justify, particularly in an era of budget constraints and fiscal responsibility.
Fortunately, there is a more cost-effective and efficient solution available – safety animation videos. These videos can be produced at a fraction of the cost of traditional training methods, making them an attractive option for organizations looking to train their workers on a budget.
Not only are safety animation videos more affordable, but they also provide an opportunity to explain safety concepts and situations more clearly. By using visually stimulating graphics and animations, these videos can effectively convey complex safety information clearly and concisely.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the oil and gas industry requires a strong commitment to health and safety. The potential risks and hazards are plenty, and organizations must prioritize the safety of their workers. Health and safety training videos have emerged as a highly effective tool to train workers on safety procedures and protocols.
These videos are cost-effective, convenient, and can be accessed by workers anytime, anywhere, making them an attractive option for organizations looking to train their workers on a budget.

Rory's first session with steadiness training and she's crushing it!
#dogblr#rory borealis#my face#bird dog training#so bird dogs need a really strong WOAH (stop moving and stay) for safety#and also to help encourage pointing in younger dogs (you woah them when they have the scent of the bird before the bird flushes)#ive never taught woah before so i read a bunch of books and watched a bunch of videos#one of the first steps is steadiness (basically impulse control)#so were using my elevated step and some kibbles and a flat collar with a tab leash#basically once your dog understands the board you can start#hold the tab loosely (no tension in the leash but enough that you can stop them from going after the snack)#throw the snack and dont let the dog go for it (hold leash and feed snacks on the board)#make sure theres no tension in the leash before you release#the dog should be standing there of their own will not the leash stopping them#its really hard so make sure the dog is exercised and calm before you start esp the first time#and only do short short sessions#and reward HEAVILY#there are faster more old fashioned ways to teach it#but shes a baby and i dont mind going slow so this is what im doing#also - look at my face i was so unsure if she would stay 😂

Reddit users will be like "No more human! Return to monke!" and then show a video of a primate being kept as a pet and forced to do human behaviors for entertainment
#not jojo related#you say you hate humans and want to be a monkey but you sure do enjoy abusing monkeys for human entertainment#bonus points if it's an ape and not even a monkey#animal abuse tw#i have to avoid so many primate memes because so much of it is blatant animal abuse passed off as ''cool''#here's a tip folks: if you see a video of a primate 1. wearing lots of clothing that it definitely didn't put on itself#2. interacting with obviously non-professional humans without bars or any form of safety#3. doing trained stunts like hula hooping or unnatural gestures or driving (yes that is a thing)#or 4. being owned as a pet in general#that's animal abuse#sorry. i needed to vent

Today’s Random Sing Related Brainrot
Let’s just acknowledge Buster and Mrs. Crawly are the only staff at the theatre in Sing 1.
Like, they’re the only ones we see working there full time (there were hired contractors and actors but not any other office workers and the contracted workers were no longer employed). That means, they make up every department. Every single one. Including HR (or would it be AR for Animal Resources instead of Human Resources). Just stop and think about that. They run the HR devision.
And since from the fact that the troupe were featured in every new show as well as being introduced as such the theatre’s representatives in Sing 2, we can infer that they are all under contract. Meaning they’re employees. And all employees have to go through some form of HR training before starting.
Therefore, I headcannon: Buster just played every Dumb Ways to Die video he could find as New Moon Theatre’s HR training. Ash, Meena, and Johnny immediately took bets on who would end up in the ER first. Ash won (Gunter, 3 days later, hit his head on stage).
#sing#sing 2#sing buster#sing mrs crawly#apparently mrs crawly's first name is Irene according to the wiki#and i think it fits her#brief moon theatre trio mention#new moon theatre would be a very chaotic working environment if we're being honest here#fun one sure but also chaotic#it's never a good sign when Dumb Ways To Die are your safety training videos

This would be so much cuter, if they werent all completely off leash around a vehicle that could kill them if they do something unpredictable or arent visible to a large truck
(via)
#reblog#sorry to be a hater but like this is just very stressful??#vids#undescribed#dogs#not mentioning also the safety concern of off leash dogs around a stranger of a delivery driver cos the video creator seems to have a#a decent rapport w these dogs and knows theyre friendly? but i remember so many drivers talling about being fucking bit#by ppl who insisted oh no dont worry my off leash dog is friendly!#animals are unpredictable. for the safety of the worker and your own animal please make an effort to keep them restrained in some way#around delivery ppl so that no one has to worry about your dog biting them or getting hit by a fucking truck!#the driver doesnt want the stress and guilt of that the and you dont want that and the dog doesnt want that. even if your dog is well#trained: Animals Are Unpredictable. they may do things that dont make sense for unclear reasons at any time#protect your dog from being hit by a vehicle and protect the driver from the guilt of hitting a dog or possible lawsuits#protect your dog from liability claims or animal control claims and shit and protect the driver from the possibility of being bit#to be clear im not saying your dog can never interact: im saying take steps to ensure the interaction is safe for both#your dog and the driver!!!!!!!! a lot easier to do if your dog is safely contained in a fenced area or on a leash!#also. god. constantly fighting my parents on this. we had a fenced in yard all my life and then we moved up here and my parents are now#like. addicted to letting the dog offleash cos they love the idea of the dog just listening to them ig and dont want to install a fence.#its better w moxie at least cos she hates strangers and doesnt want to leave our sides so shes less likely to leave the yard#and mom is more reasonable about it now that moxie had to get expensive surgery on both knees so she doesnt want her running super fast and#wiping out. dad....hhhh

sometimes I’m like, yeah, I’m totally normal and like an average level of intelligent and everything is cool
and then other times I feel this like, consuming rage at witnessing other people ‘breaking rules’ and like not understanding things that I do and I’m like, oh yeah, dis bitch neurodivergent
#my perfect world right now would require any handheld video to be filmed by trained steadicam operators with stabilizing equipment#so no one just shooting with their cell phones while running around would be allowed to create and share video#also there’d be no more mopping linoleum floors with boiling water#and you wouldn’t be allowed to ‘restock’ cleaning supplies in dumb glass containers that don’t include the safety information#clearly those are all insane ways I would like to control other humans#because none of that impacts me seriously#except for the shaky video shit… cause I just hate watching most things now as they all make#me dizzy when they’re not done well/professionally#just buy a tripod and use it exclusively everyone thanks#personal#edited to add: watching classmates edit!!!! sometimes I wonder if we sat through the same classes

The solution here's pretty obvious. It's a combination of training the actors (that fucking day when you learn Reeves has a faster first shot time than you do!) AND not having guns on set. The latter is FAR, FAR easier to do than you might think. Specifically because of how pistol training functions. The thing, even in actual firearms training there's a lot of guns that are used for training and look like the real thing. This is because to get decent results you need to practice movement a lot more than live fire. And, unless you literally live at a range, you're gonna need to practice it more than it is safe. Traditionally, you just use empty magazines for this, but they have the disadvantage of not showing you where the bullet would hit. So there's a lot of training guns that look and weigh exactly like the gun you'll be shooting in competitions, but have laser pointers that turn on when you press the trigger. They have magazines and shit. It might be a little extra to make them prettier on camera, but like... That's the smallest bit of special effects spending you can imagine.
#frickin Keanu Reeves gave me nostalgia for my IPSC days#imagine looking over at some movie stuff idly and then going “wait. Reeves actually knows what he's doing?”#and then “wait. there's videos from training?”#wait 0.55 first shot?#in case it wasn't obvious the combination of training and safety is what lets them make such good scenes
