This particular binge-read, the last of the year, has been a long time coming for me. I read the first couple of volumes back when they came out and loved them, but I didn't stay up to date with the subsequent chapters. Now I finally caught up and it's as brilliant as I remembered. I've never been a very artsy person, but Blue Period has allowed me to learn so much and to really change my views. The characters are super fun and you can't help but root for them. Specifically, I deeply relate to Yatora's struggles with self-confidence and impostor syndrome. Sometimes it was like the manga spoke directly to me, which is a very rare and precious feeling. Anyway, I'm excited to see this beautiful story grow along with its cast.

A Full English Translation of Mine Yoshizaki’s 47 Question QnA 🔥🔥
— Near the end of the 11.5 Guidebook, Yoshizaki sat down for an exclusive interview with Shonen Ace (The magazine that serialized Keroro Gunso), where he answered some personalized questions about himself
I’ve translated all of them along with giving some context to certain media references in this w attached links. he’s talks exactly how you’d expect lmao
Q1: Yoshizaki-sensei, people often seem to think you’re a woman.
I guess it’s because my name reads as “Mine.” When I chose it, I only had the image of Ryuta Mine in my head. But judging by Keroro’s behavior, I think it’s pretty clear I’m not a woman (laugh)
Q2: What was the first manga you bought?
I had my uncle buy me one copy each of Kiteretsu Encyclopedia and Obake Q-Taro. I used to borrow Doraemon from a rental bookstore.
Q3: Do you still have them?
Nah, even if I did, they’d be unreadable by now. I reread them so much they fell apart.
Q4: Do you have a favorite place to read?
I haven’t been reading too much lately, but I love to in a quiet, cozy café.
Q5: Has anything recently made you feel like you’ve been tricked?
Actually, yeah. Not too long ago, a friend took me on a small trip. We hopped on the highway and drove quite a bit, and I had no idea why we were going where we were; but it was fun, so I didn’t think much of it. Later, when I got home and watched the episode of Kamen Rider Hibiki that I’d recorded that morning, I realized the episode was filmed in the exact spot we had visited! My friend hadn’t said a word! It caught me completely off guard, but honestly, it kind of made me pretty happy too.
Q6: Is there a character you look up to?
Oh, definitely Saeki-san (laugh)
Q7: Keroro’s gotten really popular. Anything about that make you happy?
Hearing that everyone involved with Keroro is having fun working on it is what makes me happy.
Q8: On the flip side, anything tough about it?
It seems like working on Keroro is also kind of exhausting (laugh)
Q9: If you could be any character in Keroro, who would you choose?
Maybe Poyon-chan. She seems so nice and fluffy.
Q10: Who would you like to live with?
I’d say the new characters, Alisa-chan and Nevula.
Q11: Why them in particular?
I feel like we could have a nice, quiet time in an old Western-style mansion.
Q12: Is there any invention from Kururu that you’d want?
Oh, definitely that one thing for making Gundam models!
Q13: What’s your favorite part of the manga drawing process?
Definitely when it’s finally completed (laugh)
Q14: What’s the toughest part?
Getting started (laugh)
Q15: What do you think of the illustrations in the first volume of Keroro?
What do I think? Well, it was my best effort seven years ago. There's something beyond just thinking "it's bad." Especially for Keroro, since I challenged myself to break my previous style and start from scratch, so there are definitely some awkward parts in there.
Q16: When do you draw the cover illustrations? At the beginning, in the middle, or at the end?
The inking is random, so it varies every time.
Q17: Do you pay attention to differentiating characters?
Sometimes I intentionally try not to differentiate them visually. I make their personalities distinct, so that can create a sense of difference. I’ve even tried going against silhouette theory a bit, which is directly reflected in characters like Keroro.
Q18: Which is more fun to draw, Keronians or Earthlings?
Keronians’ round eyes are a hassle, and Earthlings have too many lines... It’s a toss-up (laugh)
Q19: What about secondary characters? Which ones are fun to draw?
Every character becomes lively as soon as I draw them, so it's fun. To me, they’re all waiting in line to be drawn!
Q20: Any tips for drawing something you’ve never seen before?
Draw with your eyes closed!
Q21: Do you do anything to improve your drawing skills?
Since I started working, not really. I draw every day, so whatever I’m bad at stays bad, which can be a bit of an issue.
Q22: When creating a manga, do you start with the characters, story, or setting?
The theme. Something that instinctively feels like "that's it!" The rest comes after that.
Q23: When do you come up with story ideas?
I thrash my ideas around, trying to come up with something, and eventually, once I reach the mandatory state of resignation, it comes to me (laugh)
Q24: Which takes more time, storyboarding or drawing?
Storyboarding!
Q25: If you had to sum up the feeling of struggling to come up with storyboards in one word?
Ugh.
Q26: What’s something essential while you work?
Coffee, probably.
Q27: You’ve never taken a break from publishing, but do you ever want to? If so, when?
I always feel like I want to! Every single time, no matter what!
Q28: When do you usually draw your manga—morning, afternoon, or night?
My schedule is all over the place. I live on a 25-26 hour cycle, so when my timing is off, it tends to mess things up for a lot of people. It makes planning pretty difficult too.
Q29: What’s your favorite manga that you’ve drawn so far?
Definitely Keroro Gunso.
Q30: Do you think you’re better suited for one-shot manga or long series?
Considering the amount of ideas on my brain when working on Keroro storyboards, I think I’m better suited for long series.
Q31: Are you currently thinking about your next manga project?
Ideas come and go, honestly. Right now, I’m putting all my effort into Keroro!
Q32: Do you like your own manga?
When it comes to Keroro, I like it without hesitation.
Q33: If you were an editor, what would you tell yourself?
“You can take a three month break if you want.”
Q34: Are you comfortable with drawing manga in front of people?
I’m totally fine with it! But in reality, I usually work alone, holed up in my workspace.
Q35: Do you do anything for your health?
Not really… It’s bad… I feel like I’ve been sending out SOS signals lately (laugh)
Q36: Do you have any stress relief methods?
I never considered myself to be stressed, but recently my eye started twitching, and apparently, that’s a sign of stress. I was kind of surprised when I found that out!
Q31: There are 24 hours in a day, but how many hours would you really want?
48 hours would be great!!
Q38: Is there anything that influences your manga drawing?
I’m most influenced by the general atmosphere of the world around me.
Q39: How would you describe the feeling of racing through Okutama on your bike?
Yahoo!
Q40: Anything that’s stuck with you or left a strong impression recently?
The insurance commercial with soccer commentator Matsuki has really stuck with me… As for things, I’m obsessed with the NSF100 motorcycle— I want it so bad!
Q41: A memorable quote that’s stuck with you?
“Ramen is long and delicious!” (I have literally no idea what he’s referencing here my bad guys)
Q42: Since getting your cat, Mac, has your life changed?
My lifestyle hasn’t really changed, but it feels like my heart’s OS has been upgraded by about three versions!
Q46: Do you like traveling?
I like it, but I haven’t gone anywhere recently. If I could, I’d love to go with all my friends.
Q43: What’s the most wasteful thing you’ve ever spent royalties on?
Royalties, huh... (laugh) The other day, I saw a Keroro bath towel in a UFO catcher machine, and I had to get it. I ended up blowing ¥2,000* and still didn’t win it. I wonder if my royalties will cover that…
*this is like $14 😭
Q45: What are the things you love the most?
The Earth, my wife, and Mac (my cat).
Q46: What’s the most shocking thing you’ve experienced?
When I first moved to Tokyo, I saw an elementary school kid at Yotsuya Station wearing a backpack and smoking a cigarette. I thought, “Wow, Tokyo’s scary. Maybe I should just go home.” But I’m glad I didn’t because I became a manga artist (laugh)
Q47: What does drawing manga mean to you?
It’s about making people happy. That concept hasn’t changed since I was a kid making hand-drawn manga for my friends in elementary school.
Anddd heres my impressively terrible scans of those pages just in case anyone wanted the source

Revue Starlight Sports Festival Draft!
Tumblr media
As you know, the big Stage Girl Sports Festival Revival will take place in February - literally just a full day event of the various cast members of Revue Starlight (from anime, game, and stage plays) will participate in a funky pretend-highschool sports festival. Today the full teams were decided via draft stream!
The team leaders had previously been announced:
Tumblr media
Koyama Momoyo (Aijo Karen, Seisho) - Yellow Team "ZERO" Tomita Maho (Tendo Maya, Seisho) - Blue Team "This is..." Nomoto Hotaru (Yukishiro Akira, Siegfeld) - Red Team "HOT" Nanaki Kanon (Yanagi Koharu, Seiran) - Green Team "shuThuarunomi" (集中あるのみ; "sTay focused")
Also quite funny to me that 3 of the team leaders (all but Maho) are former Sera Myu performers... the Sailor Moon squad has taken over
Tumblr media
As is tradition at this point, ensemble member Jinko Moe is the MC for this stream and explains the rules. In the first two rounds, all leaders are free to pick 1 stage girl of their chosing per round from the roster as their top picks. If any chose the same person, they will have to decide by draft - the loser can then choose freely again. After round 2, all other rounds are chosen by draft completely by luck. We already knew not all cast members are going to be there so not every stage girl is available for chosing. Suzuko Mimori (Hikari), Emiri Kato (Tsukasa) and Shiina Hekiru (Souda-sensei) are going to be the MCs at the event, so they won't be participating as athletes either. Also, Tsukui Minami (Suzu) and Kobayashi Yuka (Yakumo-sensei) are a "2 for 1" deal, as they won't be able to make the whole event (iirc).
Tumblr media
Team Zero's name is the most easily explained. Moyo gets a lot of praise from her colleagues and chat for her genius team logo design. The E is a crown with tomato jewels... I'm in awe
Tumblr media
Maho explains the pronunciation of her team: The "..." is performed dramatically with the eyes, like the above. Lol
Tumblr media
Nossan's design of course features Hot-kun, Akira's favourite food & beloved plushie. The Hot-kun icon is actually the inside of a chili, not a sun. Apparently.
Tumblr media
Kanon struggled quite a bit with finding a team name, and after consulting with the other leaders in their Line chat group, she wanted a good Koharu line as the team name. Koharu's "うるさい." ("Shut up.") came to mind, but she thought that was too rude for a team name, so shuchuarunomi it became. She placed a big T (position zero!) for the "ch" sound. Complicated, but clever.
Time for drawing the teams! In round 1, everyone is asked to present their top picks for their team.
Tumblr media
Moyo's is: MATSUZAWA! Aka Matsuzawa Kanon, who plays Shiro from Siegfeld Middle School!
Tumblr media
Maho's is the one and only Sato Hinata - student council president of Seisho herself, Hoshimi Junna.
Tumblr media
Nossan's top pick is: Ikuta Teru of Futaba fame!! And funnily enough...
Tumblr media
Kanon's pick is also Teru!!! She even drew a tiny Ponzu (Teru's dog) to sway the public. The crowd goes wild. They have to let fate decide who wins over Teru for their team, and Nossan comes out on top. So Kanon gets to choose again, and her next free pick is Haruchan! Aka her fellow Photon Maiden bestie, Iwata Haruki of Mahiru fame.
Tumblr media
Time for round 2, and last round of free picks! Again, Moyo goes first.
Tumblr media
Moyo's second pick is Saeki Iori, who plays Rinmeikan's Yuyuko!
Tumblr media
Maho's second pick is Sasaki Mikoi aka Mikoron, Shizuha of Frontier!
Tumblr media
Nossan's next pick is Koizumi Moeka aka Moepii, who plays the one and only Banana! Complaints from the other leaders are heard for her making her team too strong. Lol. We'll see about that.
Tumblr media
Kanon's pick is Kuge Kokoro of the Siegfeld Middle Schoolers, who plays Minku! No overlaps this time, so everyone gets their first pick!
The next picks are all made by random draft, so it's really just up to luck. Kanon is praying to get at least one other Seiran member for her heart. Everyone is praying not to get Aiai (lmao). Kanon manages to draw Tsumutsumu, another Photon Maiden member, making it a 3/4 for her team (with the fourth PM member, Hinata, sitting in Maho's team). For Nossan, she manages to draw two people very close to her - Ozaki Yuka (Michiru) and Kadoyama Yoko (Hisame), two of Akira's girlfriends. Moyo gets both of the Yumeoji siblings. Maho gets to draw her bestie's wife, KDHR. Kanon's wish is fulfilled by drawing the 2for1 duo of Minami&Kobayashi, her fellow Seirans. The crowd goes wild when Nossan draws Aiai, her team being declared the noisiest for sure (they're not wrong, this will be utter chaos).
Final distribution:
Tumblr media
Yellow Team "Zero": Koyama Momoyo (leader; Karen), Matsuzawa Kanon (Shiro), Saeki Iori (Yuyuko), Tono Hikaru (Shiori), Fukagawa Ruka (Ryoko), Kurachi Reo (Fumi)
Blue Team "This is...": Tomita Maho (leader; Maya), Sato Hinata (Junna), Sasaki Mikoi (Shizuha), Ito Ayasa (Kaoruko), Kudo Haruka (Yachiyo), Takeuchi Yume (Mei Fan)
Red Team "HOT": Nomoto Hotaru (leader; Akira), Ikuta Teru (Futaba), Koizumi Moeka (Nana), Ozaki Yuka (Michiru), Kadoyama Yoko (Hisame), Aiba Aina (Claudine)
Green Team "shuThuarunomi": Nanaki Kanon (leader; Koharu), Iwata Haruki (Mahiru), Kuge Kokoro (Minku), Tsumugi Risa (Rui), Sato Yuria (Kuina), Tsukui Minami (Suzu) & Kobayashi Yuka (Yakumo-sensei)
Info & Graphics can be found on the official Revstar twt , the stream was archived so you can watch the shenanigans yourself here!

I really enjoyed Bloom Into You and absolutely loved Regarding Saeki Sayaka (seriously go read the LN if you haven't).
I also really liked that there was a special in Volume 6 of the manga that gave us a glimpse into Riko-sensei and Miyako's life together. But I am greedy and would absolutely love an expanded story around their relationship! It's nice to see more adult relationships every once in a while too!

hello! i'm sorry if this is very sudden/abrupt, but i've been a longtime fan of gokuto jihen and i was wondering if you had any other things translated for it that you haven't posted? it's very hard to find anything from it these days (like, did anything ever come of the new mystery escort...?) thank you for your time!
Hello, thank you for reaching out, I'm always excited to know that there are still fans of Gokuto Jihen here on Tumblr!
In terms of more information about Gokuto Jihen, and updates in regard to the game: Rinnedou-sensei actually updates their blog on certain holidays every year. They sometimes give updates about the new game, such as sprite art. I particularly love their ideas whenever it's Apirl 1st, as the escorts always find themselves in an unusual setting. The official Gokuto Jihen Twitter is also fairly active, and skits are still being posted. Recently, there is a post about a new project, with more information coming in 2025. I'm quite excited to see more about this! Although I'm unsure if it's about the game or not, it's always nice to see. I'm actually not sure what the English community for Gokuto Jihen is like, outside of Tumblr. I don't really have any other social media to check with. The Japanese community is still pretty active though, I still see fanart of Gokuto Jihen all the time. I'm probably not looking in the right places though, so I'm sorry I can't really help with finding more active information aside from the two above.
In terms of translations: The short answer is yes, there are things that I've translated for Gokuto Jihen that I have not shared publicly. I'll post an explanation in the keep reading, so please don't feel pressured to have to read all of it.
There are 2 bonus manga chapters for Gokuto Jihen as well as 7 anthology manga, one for each escort:
Gokuto Jihen Dai Ichi Gosho <Tokumushitsu Yori>: A bonus after the manga chapter that shows the escorts dealing with various incidents around the human world (Mysterious escort also appears at the end)
Gokusotsu Tomeguru Haikou Tour: A bonus silly chapter in which the escorts treat going to the haunted school as a class field trip and abandon looking for Maki
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Ao-: An anthology about Kirishima (I'm not sure if you can still find it but I once saw it translated in English here on Tumblr.)
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Sora-: An anthology about Saeki (Again, I'm not sure if you can still find it but I saw some of the chapters translated in English here on Tumblr.)
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Yuu-: An anthology about Tagami
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Sen-: An anthology about Hirahara
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Tetsu-: An anthology about Tanizaki
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Heki-: An anthology about Kinoshita
Gokuto Jihen Koshiki Anthology Comic -Hotaru-: An anthology about Matsumoto
As mentioned before, the Gokuto Shinbun Twitter Skits are still ongoing, and I do still read them from time to time.
However, I have no plans to post any of these.
The first reason is: Both Tokumushitsu Yori and Tomeguru Haikou Tour have explicit notes at the end stating that reproduction of this is strictly prohibited. I speculate the reason is that similar to netprints, it is a special bonus that is given to fans as a thank you for supporting the original work, in which the creator might not want them spread around. I'd like to respect that of the original creators.
The second reason is: Posting translations and translating them takes time and energy. In the past, I had plenty of both, but nowadays it's hard for me to have either. If I could have a full time job just translating everything about Gokuto Jihen, I'd really want to do it! I honestly really like when people have access to things that are language barrier restricted, because I don't really think language should ever be the reason someone cannot know something.
The third reason is: I don't think anyone will be interested in the translations. I wanted to test the waters to see how popular the series still was by posting the translated Gokuto Shinbun chapters, as well as a summary of the Stageplay. In the end, I don't think many people were interested at all. It makes me really happy to know that there are some people who like Gokuto Jihen still that find it useful to see the translations! It's unfortunate my only way of knowing if there are those people out there are from the notes, or if kind people like you reach out.
TL;DR: I'd like to respect the creator, I don't have much time and energy for translation as I used to, and I don't think people are interested in those translations.

It’s time for Part 4 of “I hate the fucking anime adaption so fucking much”. Part 3 is here.
I'm late giving my thoughts on this. Ikuto looks awful as usual, partly because of the usual bullshit from this character designer, and partly because the anime never drew him properly to begin with. Why the fuck are his clothes so tight and small?! Reminds me of the awful Black Diamond cover art. Why the anime is incessant in constantly making him buff and giving him manboobs is beyond me. It's dreadful and ugly. They didn't read the manga at all. He's actually pretty skinny.
I hate how Kairi looks too. Ugh, they all just look so out of character...
I never did post about this, because it's not like it actually confirmed that something SC! related was coming, but Satelight is going to be celebrating their 30th anniversary in May 2025. Peach-Pit retweeted it, and that did make me a little suspicious...
Tumblr media
What stuck out to me about this image was actually the fact that a very popular anime was missing from this - Fairy Tail.
Satelight was involved with just the first season of Fairy Tail. The fact that it's not featured in any way here means they don't have the rights to it anymore. Using this logic, this means that Satelight still (unfortunately) has the rights to SC!. That, coupled with the fact that they keep asking this character designer to make new artwork, makes me fucking sick.
I want a faithful anime reboot so badly. The only way I would be okay with Satelight still having their hands on this is if every single staff member is replaced (especially the character designer). Get all the voice actors back though, at least all the Guardians and Easter. It just wouldn't be the same without them. Nobuko Saeki would need a new voice actor though, because her voice actor sadly passed last year.
Can we please get Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita's staff to work on a SC! reboot? Because this interview really made me respect the way they treated this anime adaption. Some quotes, using Google translate (so the quality is questionable):
--What gave you the push you needed to decide to participate? Ayana: When I met with the director and producer, I asked them, "Who is this anime aimed at?" They told me that they wanted to make it for women who like magical girls. I've always loved Cardcaptor Sakura and Ojamajo Doremi, so I thought that was a good idea.
--Apart from the visual effects, one of the charms of anime is being able to hear the voices, and the cast this time is the same as the drama CD. Ayana: I also wanted that to be the case from the beginning. This title was chosen because I had always wanted to turn Fujiwara-sensei's work into an anime, and the main premise was that I wanted to deliver it to the manga's fans in a meaningful way. The cast members of the existing drama CD are people who Fujiwara-sensei approved, so I thought it would be best to leave it as it is. Also, I really liked the ending. When I heard the duet between the two of them, I thought it was especially good that they were chosen.
--Ayana, please tell us about your policy when working on a work based on an original source. Ayana: First of all, it's important to protect the worldview. And what I always think about is making the author happy. This time, I thought about how Fujiwara-sensei would draw it, and I listened carefully to the opinions of the manga's editors and people who are fans of the work.
God, they treated this anime with such love and care. These are the people I want handling a SC! reboot! They know what they're doing! The character designs were beautiful. They brought back all the voice actors from the drama CD because Cocoa Fujiwara choose them and they wanted to respect her wishes. I wish Bones would just take the rights to SC!, I like them more...

Just dropping in to ask is there any random headcanons that you'd like to share about any &/or all the characters that you've never got to share: either cuz no one asked or you were never able to put into a fic? By all means use this ask if you'd like to share as many random headcanons of uci characters as you'd like :))
It's been a while since I thought about headcanons... I have a really old one from 2015 about alt jobs the escorts could have. I feel like I've adopted a lot of the popular ones like the cannibal theory and the naming theory so I can't say I've never shared them before. I have some really dumb ones if you'll bare with me though:
One that I've never shared before is that I think Hachi is just a normal boy that got raised by a yokai cat and now he just... kind of lives in the underworld with her. This has been debunked with rinnedou-sensei calling him 'humanoid' rather than human, but please, let me believe, haha.
Also, I think Sensei is a great physical doctor, but a bad mental doctor, which is why Benibara remains in the hospital, and Chihiro has to do a lot of her memory piecing by herself. But Sensei doesn't like to admit it, so he really is out here faking it until he makes it. I'm on to you, "Sensei"!
Saeki and Tagami probably have secret piano/guitar concerts that not even Rokkaku knows about to earn more money for how many things just kind of get destroyed around the house. But Tagami's too lazy to do anything with the money so it always seems like Saeki is the responsible child who has money to cover damages.
Matsumoto might be a sleeper agent for Saitou so that if in the event Saitou is incapacitated for whatever reason, Matsumoto will assume his role as spy for the Court of Enma and report to them in Saitou's place. The nervousness is an act! He's a spy, I tell you!
Speaking of the Court of Enma, I don't actually think there's a higher up being reported to. I think it's just a different agency that sees how the Special Branch organizes and wants intel. I think at some point, someone left Rokkaku in charge of most things related to the human world and it just ran like a well oiled machine. It's a YoRHa cover up, why won't anyone believe me?!
Magical broom escort, I don't know your name, but I really hope the deduction for your death is you were in a cult. I want that for you.
I dunno, what do you think of them? -Admin Hirahara

BGM: Paul Weller - Into Tomorrow
This morning, I've read Kazumi Saeki's public journal "The journal of Wheat [麦の日記帖 震災のあとさき 2010-2018]" completely. This book certainly delivers this author's honest/sincere attitude and style. It has been written from 2010 to 2018, and also it contains the Great East Japan Earthquake. However, Saeki hasn't lost his way to go to write his own literature creating. His diligent attitude is really trustable.
As this journal has taught me, I have to keep a thanksgiving for this peaceful life in my mind because that peace can be destroyed by various accidents so easily. Especially, this month March is the one which has been connected with the huge earthquake's memories (as I have mentioned above.) But, Saeki won't give up the hope toward tomorrow. He keeps on his steady progressing with his straight, graceful style.
As you see, I've also been writing the journal of mine every day. Why am I writing this? I can't say surely, but when I had thought what I would share with my friends, I decided to start this trial because that was only one content I could do. Now, I'm finding that so many readers feel something entertaining with my writings, so I'm glad about that.
This afternoon, a sudden sad news arrived - a great Japanese manga artist, Akira Toriyama passed away. Oh no… Indeed, I have rarely read manga. Once, when I was young and stupid, I couldn't understand why people could enjoy manga because I had thought they must be silly. But now, I respect manga as a marvelous form of entertainment.
On Discord and MeWe, this sudden sad news surprised many users - they dedicate their honest greeting to Toriyama. TBH, I have to accept that I have never read Dragon Ball completely. But even for me, his illustrations and skill of storytelling is really marvelous. I respect him as one of the greatest dream weavers in our modern time. Now, his works go deliver entertainment beyond the walls of languages, the borders, the distance beyond seas. Oh, what an incredible power. I say - Rest In Peace, Mr. Toriyama sensei. And, thank you so much!

Autor(s): KOKORO Ichikara Artista(s): KOKORO Ichikara Género(s): Romance, Vida Escolar, Shounen Ai Tipo: Oneshot Año: 2013 Estado: Completado

Man it’s been way too long since we had an episode of this show. A month off right as we got to an emotional climax sucked! But we are back and what a great episode to come back on.

I’m very happy that Hajime’s mom turned out ok and is about to leave the hospital. Loved their meeting today. Something tells me she probably already knows about Saeki or has a hunch anyway.
Tumblr media
Speaking of Saeki, it’s good that he and Aono aren’t going to have some long drawn out arc where they’re upset at one another. It’s definitely understandable that Aono was upset, but it’s ultimately neither of their faults that their dad is a bum. They had a great relationship and pushed each other to be better, nothing should change.
Tumblr media
Takeda sensei MVP of the week for helping Aono cheer up and giving him a shoulder to cry on. Nothing wrong with letting out your feelings. Akine came in clutch as well with that phone call. Still wish she got more screen time in general, but oh well. Can’t wait for next ep!

Spoiler alert but ugh saeki sensei is literally the most based teacher in all series, there is nothing negative and valid you can say about her so maybe just continue to watch and read the manga before thinking like this
watching blue period and i hate this art teacher

Gokuto Jihen sensors activated (hey other anon, can we talk about the two new escorts? Lol)
I wish the English fanbase wasn't so dead, I'd like to be able to at least translate scans for myself if there's not enough interest to put out translations, but I've only ever found the Kirishima and I think half of the Saeki anthologies.
As for the stage play, is it available any where? I've read your post about it before but couldn't find more
Oh wow hello fellow Gokuhen fan!
Yes, I think that’s what I saw last time too for Anthologies that was translated into English. The good news is you can still get the manga digitally! Check out the official website for where to get yourself a copy! It’ll be easier to clean and translate than to get the physical copy and scan the pages.
For the Angeki Gokuto Jihen, I got my copy from Animate, but they seem to be sold out now. I think you could buy a resold copy off Amazon but it’s kind of expensive… I don’t know if you can Wayback Machine this, but the official stream was on Nico Douga.
Ha ha, sometimes fans come out of nowhere suddenly and give me a heart attack (lovingly). I’m really honored that y’all come say hello to me from time to time.
(On the escorts: back when I asked Rinnedou-sensei the weirdest questions I was told the manor could have like 15 escorts and I’m not saying the whole place has to be filled but… but please, what do you mean potentially there’s like double the number of characters we could meet??? Not me speculating deaths already like a maniac…)
