Enemies au ft. Ladrien for the ask game 👀 (hehehehe)

i see this is was a popular one (which is good because i'm actually dying to talk about it 😂). i haven't written much of this yet, but i DO have a complete 26-chapter outline (that i made during my writing "break"), and even though i'm trying not to get too deep into it yet because i have so many other projects, i also not-so-secretly want to be enabled. do with that what you will this fic would take place in an au that diverges from canon at some point early season 5 (post-elation at the latest but i haven't quite decided), and it's my rendition of sentiadrien being forced to help monarch. i want to play with how sentiorders might work and what loopholes might exist. but also the fact that adrien doesn't know he's a senti yet. he doesn't even understand WHY he keeps agreeing to help his father, and he hates himself for that and ladybug...is understandably not in a great place either. obviously she has more support than adrien, but she still feels the weight of the burden. she misses her kitty 😢. and even alya has some stuff going on in her life, so she can't be as available to marinette as she has been in the past

then ladybug and adrien run into each other after an akuma attack one day. and it's sort of an echo of strikeback, where she's at her lowest point, and even if adrien knows he should run away and leave her, he can't. not when she's hurting. and he starts to realize maybe he can still help her. maybe he's not useless.

and ladybug also starts to see adrien in a new light (because he's still allowed to go to lycee, he just...doesn't really talk to any of his friends anymore). she's been so distracted with her own stuff that she's pushed her feelings about him aside, but even if she can't overthrow monarch, even if chat noir is lost to her, maybe she can at least help someone she loves

so basically it's ladynoir enemies with ladrien helping each other pick up the pieces. where they both start at rock bottom but maybe they (with some help from their friends!) can start to help each other heal

i'll share the intro scene under the cut (since this is getting long) with the caveat that this is an early version i might still want to flesh out/rework/possibly rewrite completely

It was barely October. It shouldn't be cold enough for the air to burn on the way down, for each breath to feel like ice crystallizing in Ladybug's lungs. But it did. 

It felt like she'd forgotten how to breathe.

Gigantitan toddled down the street, clapping his hands and using the occasional stopped car as stepping stones. Car roofs caved in as he advanced, bringing muffled screams from those who hadn't been lucky enough to flee  in time. And Ladybug could only stand there, backing away unsteadily as she failed to come up with a plan. 

Part of her wondered if she should just give up. It would be fitting, at this point, to be taken down by a toddler. If she barely had the strength to get out of bed every morning, she certainly didn't have the energy for impromptu babysitting—even if the fate of Paris hung in the balance.

Maybe it was someone else's turn to care.

The voice in the back of her head—the one insisting she didn't really want that—wasn't loud enough to spur her heavy limbs into action. Instead she found herself wondering what the end would be like. When Monarch won, when he made the wish, would she feel the force of being torn apart, cell by cell? 

Or maybe her end would come sooner. Gigantan was getting close now, and the silhouette of Monarch's mask flash across his face. But maybe he wouldn't be swayed by Monarch's words. Perhaps he'd keep smashing through the streets, and she'd be crushed like the cars he'd already left in his wake. Or maybe—

Someone slammed into her side, protective arms wrapping around her as they flew through the air, landing roughly and rolling until they slammed into the side of a building. Even with the suit, her hip was still throbbing from the impact when they stopped, her assailant hovering over her. She kept her eyes shut tight for a moment, breathing in his familiar scent and taking comfort from the arms bracketing her body—keeping her safe, the way they always used to.

The way they shouldn't. Not anymore.

Chat Noir's breath warmed her face as he pushed himself up, and Ladybug forced her eyes open to meet a pair of wide, worried eyes. Ones that sucked away any remaining breath she had left.

How dare he look at her like that? After everything?

"Ladybug, I..." He squeezed his eyes shut, his whole body stiffening momentarily. "I'm sorry."

A shiver travelled down her spine, zapping some life back into her. By the time she noticed his hand twitching in her periphery, she was already moving. Her fist connected with his cheek as claws grazed her earlobe.

Grunting, Chat rolled off of her. She sprang to her feet, hand moving to her yo-yo as she glanced back and forth between her two foes. Adrenaline coursing through her veins, she was starting to cobble together some semblance of a plan. But she needed more time, so she tossed her yo-yo around a nearby chimney and took off through the streets. 

When she was certain she'd gotten enough distance from the fight, she stopped on a rooftop, resting against a chimney as she caught her breath, remembering the shock of green eyes boring into hers.

It shouldn't be cold enough yet for her body to feel so numb.

It is, in fact, your Fairytale Ladrien. As in, the one based on that concept you posted sometime this summer. I considered leaving it off the list because I was hoping I could finish it this year, but that's not going to happen and I've been dying to talk about it.

Adrien’s life had always been terribly, terribly small.

It was small, but it wasn’t bad.

He had his bed and his bookshelf and his bentside spinet. He had a window to watch the sunrise from, and one time he’d managed to make the guard at his door smile at a joke he made.

He’d never really been told why it was that he had to live in this tower. There was a time, as a child, where he’d resented it - had asked, why does Felix get to come and go, but I don’t? Why are Chloe and Zoe taught together? Why do the children outside the window get to run and play, but I have to sit inside and be alone? He hadn’t even been alone back then, not really. (...)

These days, Nathalie only stopped by most days to tell him his assignments, and only stayed longer when quizzing him about his progress.

He only saw Felix about once a week.

On the other hand, he had Kagami now. It was one of those small things that showed him how much his father cared: Even when he was too busy to come by himself, he made sure that at least the guard was someone he could talk to.

Fanfiction Year in Review 2023

I fill this out every year. It’s become a bit of a tradition for me. Allows me to reflect on everything that I’ve written and kinda think about where I want to go next. And I like it better from the ask games because I don’t have to wait for asks to come in and can compare my answers from one year to the next. ^_^

Published: 151,018 words (more than twice 2022’s number!! Go me!!) 

Those numbers are incredibly close together because I haven’t been redrafting as much. Those numbers include six one shots, three completed multi chapters. And another four multi chapter WIPs saw at least one update.

And in another fun milestone! I broke a million words published on Ao3 just this last week!! (I've been writing fic since 2003 and everything I've ever written is on Ao3!)

3 Your most popular fic:

Not Part of the Plan - I suspect that this is mostly because being a teen pregnancy fic, it’s my most tropiest story this year. Haha! 

4 Your personal fav:

Aftermath - This story has usurped Right Behind You as my favorite. I’ve been able to connect to the raw hurt and grief in this story, and there’s something very raw and human about it that others seem to be able to connect to as well. I think it’s some of my best work, and that is also thanks to an amazing beta in @ladyofthenoodle who has lent her expertise in more than one way in making this one more true to lived experience. 

5 Your fav scene:

It’s so hard to pick a favorite!! I narrowed it down to my three favorites in no particular order. 

The last scene in Ch 5 Love Remains - Chat Noir give amnesiac Ladybug a geography lesson from space. It’s got Whole New World vibes, and I just loved the imagery of it.

Ch 4 of Aftermath - I’m particularly proud of Marinette’s panic attack when Adrien tells her she doesn’t have to keep coming over. Like it feels like it comes out of nowhere, but it just totally makes sense. And how it manifests and how she soothes herself (it’s not healthy, but it’s so GOOD!)

Ch 7 of Would Trust You With Everything - The scene where Chat Noir tries to tell Nino who he is, but inevitably doesn’t. And how Nino reassures him through all that. This scene feels so raw, but so heartwarming in light of Adrien’s fears. And I don’t know - it’s beautiful to me.

6 A fic or scene that challenged you:

I really struggled with Right Behind You this year, though it wasn’t for lack of trying! I had started out the year hoping to go back to an update a month here and I only updated it three times throughout 2023. 

This was incredibly frustrating because the initial drafts of scenes would come pretty easily, but I couldn’t seem to make them pop the way the earlier chapters did. The good news is I think I figured out what the issue was. Most of my writing this year has been speed writing. And a big part of that is just where I’ve been emotionally. I’m very very out of practice in editing and redrafting, which this story and Aftermath both definitely need. 

I’ve only been able to edit Aftermath because I’ve had a ton of help. (Thanks Noodles!) Sadly, it’s harder to find betas for rarepairs, but I have succeeded! (Thanks@coffeebanana!)

7 A line of writing you’re proud of: 

“She wanted to be there to see it. To see him.”

This line is way better in context, but I’ve made myself cry about three times with it. And I refuse to explain it because that would give its power away. Guess you’ll just have to go read Aftermath. 

8 A comment that touched you: 

I can never answer this question without mentioning several!! 

Would Trust You With Everything - this story had a ton of enthusiastic followers - way more than rarepair work usually gets, and I wrote this story right after my life fell apart and all the commenters here made throwing this story together just that much more joyful during a time when I REALLY needed it. (I'm looking at you, @bittersweetresilience, @bbutterflies @flightfoot @coffeebanana and so many others that I don't know your tumblr name!!!) Not Part of the Plan Comments - I added sex ed lessons to the end of each chapter here because there’s so much about fertility and pregnancy that people don’t know if typical pregnancy fics are anything to go by, and this seemed to inspire so many people to share their pregnancy stories!!! And these have been so cool because I’ve learned that these stories just don’t often have an opportunity to be shared. And it’s neat that this story with its accompanying lessons could create a space for that!! Aftermath comments - lots of people who have really struggled with moderate to severe depression have apparently felt very seen by this fic. And that a story that is essentially about two characters who feel very alone and like no one can understand can help people feel LESS alone and MORE understood is simply amazing!! I love this story so much!! AHH!! Here's one from @neurovascular-entrapta that meant a lot to me.

9 Something that inspired your writing:

Grief and the need to feel things in a distant abstract-these-are-story-book-characters kind of way so I don’t have to feel my actual feelings as closely every moment of the day really kept me writing the whole year long.

10 Your proudest accomplishment (that one scene; finally finishing that one fic; posting your first fic; etc):

My writing has been really raw and messy this year, and I can’t keep tenses straight to save my life. But there’s something powerful about the rawness that I really like even as all the grammatical errors and the lack of effort on the technical side of most of my stories has driven me nuts. 

I am proud of myself for being able to get back into the big projects in these last few months after not being able to face them from April to October. And I’ve started participating in a few writing events here and there again in addition to working on my own pet projects. 

11 Do you have any writing goals for the next year?

Well, I wanted to finish Not Part of the Plan in 2023, which didn’t happen only barely! So hoping the last chapter and the epilogue make it out within the next month. Once that’s done I think I want to try and make Aftermath and Right Behind You my primary focus projects this year. And of course, I’m sure new plot bunnies and writing events will take over my brain on occasion. Last year, I said I wanted my writing to become a reliable mental health tool for me again, and I’m glad to say that it definitely was that for 2023. I hope I’m able to use my writing this year to continue my healing journey. 

And maybe go and proofread all of the fics I finished in 2023 to fix all the inconsistent tense issues to prepare them for being bound eventually!

Life updates with Cat:

I have officially started grad school, and holy shit do I have a lot to read. It's fine though I'm excited for it. I did, however, fandom too close to the sun and overestimated the time and energy I would have this summer to get ahead on writing for the BB, so I have unfortunately dropped out of that event. 🥲 But it's for the best. Now I can focus on school, and also the open wips I have lying around. I wrote another 1000 words for the Ladrien fic I started in June, and I'm about halfway through the content for that chapter I think. So, I'm hoping to work more on that over the long weekend and maybe have a chapter to post by next Ladrien Wednesday. But given my track record, don't hold me to that 😅

Anyway, that's really all I have for all of you. I'm not doing the BB this year sadly, but I am hoping to work on some backlog. Namely, In Breakable Heaven, as well as Adrien Agreste's Road to Recovery Playlist. Which I am excited for. Hopefully you will all enjoy them too. I also have not forgot about the poll results for the favorite love square moments. I will get around to giffing those sooooonish.

Also! If we get s6 this year (I have my doubts) I will absolutely be watching initially and posting reactions to things. I'm approaching s6 cautiously and poking it with a stick. Also maybe before that airs I'll rewatch s5 and finally give my thoughts on it.

Adrien's bedroom was bathed in the soft, golden light of the setting sun. The room was a sanctuary, a place where he could momentarily forget the stress of his everyday life and just simply be Adrien Agreste. But tonight, it was more than just his refuge; it was where he would see her.

As Ladybug swung in through the open window, his heart skipped a beat. There she was, his partner in heroism, and the girl he loved more than anything in the world.

"Hey, Adrien," she greeted with a warm smile, her eyes lighting up at the sight of him.

"Hey, Ladybug," he replied, his voice filled with affection. He moved closer, unable to resist the magnetic pull between them.

They stood there for a moment, their eyes locking, the unspoken words hanging in the air. Finally, Adrien couldn't hold back any longer. He gently cupped her face in his hands and leaned in, their lips meeting in a tender kiss.

The world seemed to melt away as they lost themselves in each other. The kiss deepened, filled with the passion and love that had been building between them for so long. Adrien's arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer, while Ladybug's hands threaded through his hair.

But as the kiss intensified and he tightened his grip on her, he felt her stiffen. Ladybug reluctantly pulled away, her breathing heavy. "Adrien, this is dangerous."

His forehead rested against hers, his breath mingling with hers. "I know, but I can't help it. I love you, Ladybug."

Her eyes softened at his words, but she still shook her head at him sadly. "But Shadowmoth can always find out about us, Adrien. If he discovers who we are to each other, he could use it against us. I can’t lose you like that."

Adrien squeezed her hand tightly, his eyes filled with determination. "We'll be careful. We'll find a way to protect ourselves and the people we love. But I can't pretend that I don't feel this way anymore."

He watched as Ladybug’s resolve seemed to waver, her eyes gleaming with proof of the love she had for him. "I love you too, Adrien. More than anything."

Their lips met again, this time with even more urgency. The danger of their situation only seemed to heighten the intensity of their emotions. They kissed with a fervor that spoke of their deep longing and unbreakable bond.

As they pulled away once more, Adrien looked into her eyes, his voice a whisper. "We'll find a way. We'll be together, no matter what."

Ladybug nodded, her heart brimming with love and determination. "Together, always."

They kissed again, each touch of their lips a promise of their unwavering commitment. No matter the dangers that lay ahead, their love was unstoppable.

Adrien’s heart raced as he pulled Ladybug closer, their bodies melding together in a perfect fit. The warmth of her touch, the sweetness of her lips—everything about her felt right, she felt like home. For so long, they had danced around their feelings, keeping their love hidden behind masks and secret identities. But now, at this moment, it was just them—Adrien and Ladybug—together without the weight of the world on their shoulders.

And yet as Adrien focused solely on the love he had for her, Ladybug’s mind was a whirl of emotions. She knew the risks and the potential consequences of their actions. Yet, every time she tried to pull away, to remind herself of the danger, her heart screamed louder, urging her to stay in Adrien’s arms. The taste of his kiss, the feel of his hands on her waist—it was all too intoxicating to resist.

“I wish things were different,” she murmured against his lips, her voice tinged with longing and sadness. “I wish we didn’t have to hide.”

Adrien rested his forehead against hers, their breaths mingling. “I know, Ladybug. But we’ll figure it out. We’re stronger together, right? You and Chat Noir will defeat him. I know you will.”

She nodded, finding solace in his words. She would defeat him. Someday. And then she and Adrien would never need to worry again. They would be free to just... be in love. “You’re right. Chat and I find a way. We’ll defeat him one day.”

Their kisses slowed, turning softer, more tender. Adrien’s fingers traced gentle patterns on her back, while Ladybug’s hands caressed his cheeks, memorizing every contour of his face. The room was filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by the soft sounds of their breathing and the occasional murmur of endearment.

For a while, they simply held each other, basking in the warmth of their shared affection. The outside world seemed distant, almost forgotten, as they focused solely on the here and now. It was a rare moment of peace amidst the chaos of their lives, and they clung to it with everything they had.

Eventually, Ladybug reluctantly pulled back, her eyes meeting Adrien’s with a mixture of love and concern. “We should talk about how we’re going to handle this. We can’t let our guard down, not even for a moment.”

Adrien nodded, his expression serious. “You’re right. We need to be extra careful. Maybe we can come up with some sort of plan, a way to stay connected without raising suspicion?”

Ladybug considered his words, her mind already racing with possibilities. “I think the later I come over will help. Shadowmoth has to sleep sometime. The later that it is, the better the chance that he won’t notice anything’s different.”

Adrien’s eyes lit up with hope. “That’s a great idea! And we don’t necessarily always have to stay here. You know, we could maybe we could accidentally bump into each other so we’re switching things up. That way Shadowmoth has a harder time tracking us.”

Ladybug smiled, giggling lightly as she shook her head. “That might make us a bit more public. But, as long as we’re careful, I think we can make this work. You have been used as bait from akuma attacks before. It wouldn’t be all that strange if I’m saving you.”

Their conversation continued, filled with plans and strategies, each idea bringing them closer together. Despite the seriousness of their discussion, there was an underlying current of excitement. They were finally facing their feelings head-on, and it felt liberating.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the room in a soft twilight, they found themselves drawn to each other once more. This time, their kisses were slow and lingering, filled with the promise of a future together. They knew the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but they were ready to face it—together.

“Adrien,” Ladybug whispered between kisses, her voice soft but resolute. “No matter what happens, I want you to know that I’ll always be by your side. We’re in this together.”

Adrien’s heart swelled with emotion. “And I’ll always be there for you, Ladybug. I love you.”

“I love you too,” she replied her words a vow as strong as any they had made before.

In the quiet of Adrien’s bedroom, wrapped in each other’s arms, they made a silent promise to face whatever dangers lay ahead. Before I keep working on my fanfics

Things I loved about catching up to miraculous and I wanna talk about them because oh my gods, so much happened:

The fact that we actually got massive lovesquare developments in not only on the adrienette side (which is the cutest side for me) but also on the marichat side! (which was pretty much almost as abandoned as ladrien tbh, also this is the side I find the dorkiest of them all) [Sidenote: I'm sad we didn't get more Ladrien tbh and the ladynoir was absolutely adorable for me, with those two dorks being supportive to each other and seeing sides of each other that hadn't seen before]

Lie-la got exposed as the liar she is (AND we discovered that she is actually a psychopathic liar to the point of having multiple identities and being good at disguising herself)

The interactions between the different characters we've seen until date and not only in the group class, we got to see a lot of interesting groupings, like Gabriel and Mayor André being friends from before their fame (and the shenanigans) or Marc and Zoe being included in the gang despite them being on another class.

Some characters got a lot deeper, like Mayor André who wished to be a movie director but circumstances got the better of him, Sabrina facing against Chloe after she armed herself with courage

We also got a ton of lgbtq+ representation, of the top of my head I can say Zoe being a sapphic queen and too good for her own good (I wish we get to see her get a cute date in the future, the girl deserves some love), I think that Ms.Bustier and her partner too (we didn't get much info on this one to confirm it sadly, but I so wanna know much more) and I forgot the specifics but I'm pretty sure I've seen on the background lots of characters that either had a deep bromance or something more, as well as other lgbtq+ representations.

There was character development, starting from Alec who went from jerk to genuine dork, our lovely sword woman Kagami who got through SO much in the span of two seasons (happy she got a guy tho I'm a bit uneasy of Felix and how quickly their love seemed to flourish, it needs some work which I totally plan to do in my fanfics). Even Chloe and Gabriel had some character development (granted, it was to worse but negative development is still development)

ROSE'S TAKE ON ADRIENETTE!!!!!! Gods! We've all have seen throughout the series that Rose is clearly a romance lover besides being our cute and strong pink ball of possitivity, we knew she loved cute things and also love stories. And then we got that wonderful scene where she demanded Adrienette kiss (which, ok, that wasn't the best move on her end) and then proceeded to call out Adrien and Marinette for being "So cute.... And so infuriating!" I was laughing for hours.

THE FUCKEN KWAMI OF REALITY?! KWAMIS HAVING COOL BADASS TRUE FORMS?! Needless to say, the last episode of season 5 broke me so hard with so many things, but those two in particular blew my mind because, holy molly guacamole with sticks of folly! I now am demanding to see the true forms of all the kwamis because me needs ittttttt!!!!!!

Chloe actually left Paris, this time apparently for good, and there was no redeem arc. Because although redeeming evil characters sometimes is good, Chloe's character hits way too close to home and I'm glad she ended up falling from her throne without a chance to redeem herself, because she got way too many chances during the series and yet she ignored each and every single one of them. (IF they want to redeem her now after she suffers the consequences of her actions, that would be more acceptable)

We got to see some bits of Marinette's past before the events of the series, which was a good way to give her character some more depth, explain how she could have survived so much bullying from Chloe and also give us an actual reason for her behavior around the ones she falls in love with

Also shoutout to Ondine for getting angry at Kim for pranking Marinette and playing with her feelings, that girl is no fool and from what we've seen, she will lead Kim to a better path (because let's face it, he needs someone closer than a friend to lead him to the right path, I'm sure Max is a good influence on him but my girl is going to go some steps further)

Loved the whole Bunnyx situation, because it made perfect sense and although some parts could be improved, it was overall written quite well and it added some rules to the use of each miraculous' powers

Ladybug and Chat Noir growing amid a difficult situation and managing not only to slow their detransformations, but also reversing them?! We got direct confirmation that only adults can stay transformed after using the power of their miraculous and, what's more, in the last special we also got to know that if it's used for evil, one can use multiple times the power of miraculous at the cost of their own lifespan.

Headcannons I got from season 4 and 5:

Felix is not a sentimonster: Although in "Representation" it was implied that he was one during the scene in which Kagami and Felix explain a story to Marinette through a sentimonster (they literally said that Felix's father was jealous of Gabriel for having impregnated Emilie while he couldn't impregnate Amelie, then he used the Peacock miraculous and Amelie suddenly got impregnated and had a child the same day Emilie did). I personally think that what happened is that Felix's father created a sentimonster that made Amelie to be pregnant like her twin out of his jealousy, which is why then Felix was born the same day as Adrien and they look so similar, since what I think that the sentimonster did was literally replicate what was happening on Emilie's womb in Amelie's womb (ngl it sounds disgusting and unethical in so many ways, but let's face it, from what we know of the guy it wouldn't be so unrealistic). At the same time, this is also reinforced by the fact that no one identified Felix as a sentimonster during the series, being able to pass as Adrien in multiple occasion even when Gabriel or Nathalie were using the miraculous of the Peacock, else the boy would have ceased to exist a long time ago after he made Gabriel angry (because we have seen just how cruel could Gabriel become, I wouldn't put it past him to erase the existence of his nephew if he was a sentimonster)

Emilie stans Adrienette like a proud mother and will get along with Tom and Sabine like a house on fire: Because I just need the trio of proud parents™ being totally supportive (and extremely nosy) towards their children. Also, Emilie's track record of parenting is practically empty as we basically haven't gotten introduced to her yet, but if she is anything like her twin Amelie... Adrien is in for a shower of love as he's never seen one before, both from his girlfriend's side and from his mother.

Amelie and Felix move permanently to Paris: If we know one thing about Amelie is that she loves her baby boy and she misses her sister, so now that her baby boy Felix is in love with a certain Japanese sword lady that resides in Paris and that her sister is back to life while Gabriel is no more... I may be wrong but I think this one is totally possible to happen in season 6 (which I'll be patiently waiting for, I only know it's supposed to be released on the final quarter of 2024)

Adrien will discover Gabriel was Hawk Moth: Let's be honest, there is way too many people that knew about Gabriel having a miraculous, including Felix (who cares about Adrien), maybe Kagami, Kagami's mother (we don't know what happened to her and she may be salty af if the wish didn't help her too, so she'd have a reason to reveal it to the world), his girlfriend Marinette, his mother most likely knows too, Lila (if that is even her real name, because who knows at this point) and Nathalie (whom I hope that is still alive after Gabriel's wish). I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's more people that know, but what's clear is that with so many people knowing, Adrien is bound to be told by someone and it may as well be

Gabriel's wish was to undo the damage caused by the broken miraculous of the peacock: We all know that Gabriel made a wish and paid the price himself, but he never says out loud what his wish was, we only saw that one of the consequences was his death and the revival of Emilie Agreste. While it's true that his wish was probably to just bring Emilie back, his actions after betraying Marinette's trust did show that he was a bit remorseful of how he had acted, so there's a tiny bit of hope.

And finally, about the movie, I have to say that, while I did like some of the concepts like Hawk Moth employing literal criminal prisoners in order to do his bidding (which makes a lot of sense given how easy they would accept his power even without needing to wait for them to be angry), I got tired really quick from all the songs and the personalities of everyone were a bit random, tho this last part was enjoyable from time to time.

I might end up making a post ranting about the things I didn't like in the last two seasons, but for now this is it and I'll get to writing my fics as soon as I post this (Tho maybe I'll work on updating some stuff from my fics to ensure they are not complete nonsense now). Stay tuned!

Sadly I never finished part 5, it's in my wips folder together with the other parts jhdgj idk when I'll go back to them, as the art already looks so old (to me at least lol) and I've been kinda low on motivation lately 😔

I actually had started writing them (the tiny Azula fic, which is the sequel to Zuko’s Tiny Dilemma and has Azula get cursed and then saved/“adopted” by Hakoda and the water tribe warriors. She goes through her own journey of learning and redemption before ultimately joining Zuko and the others to fight Ozai

Sadly, I gave up after two chapters because i knew I no longer had the energy to write such a long multi chapter

The other one I’d write is the Ladrien enemies one, which was aged up AU where Chat Noir never becomes her partner/exists because Adrien tells his dad about the miraculous first when Plagg shows up.

Adrien still tries to go to school, but he only attends for a short time before getting pulled out. Years down the track, Marinette becomes convinced that he is Hawkmoth since her classmates were always being targeted, but it’s too hard to get him since he’s such a famous celebrity. She decides to get closer to him as ladybug and ends up on a reality tv show with him where they have to be partners (and maybe fake dating. I actually can’t remember now)

Meanwhile, Gabriel is tired of losing all the time to Ladybug and decides to finally enlist Adrien to his cause. Adrien reluctantly becomes Chat Noir and goes to Ladybug to say they are meant to be partners — all he is meant to do is get closer to her and help her so he can take the earrings when her guard is down. But Marinette doesn’t really trust him and is also angry he took so long (Fu told her at tye very beginning the cat miraculous holder is out there and meant to be her partner)

Anyway, it was going to be very chaotic and funny with so many identity shenanigans and tropes, but I just can’t write long fics anyway 😭😭

(Also I’m trying to work on original fiction)

But yeah. People are welcome to take these ideas and do something with them. I want to read them but can’t write them 😭

Currently disappointed that a headcanon I always had in my brain will never be true. Knowing when the Hargreeves were born, I knew they’d grow up during the time of grunge rock and stuff and I thought “omg what if Five hums ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ to himself in the apocalypse??” And it would fit well because he was alone and the “boulevard of broken dreams” would be his failed time travel attempt.

However! The song didn’t come out until 2004. He got left the academy in 2002. So, sadly, Five Hargreeves has no idea that such a song exists.
