Leaving for Tybee Island & Savannah this morning. Guy the Cat will be fed and cared for by his backup human, Charles, and I'm sure Guy will enjoy discussing vampire academia with Charles and meowing at him loudly for no reason. I'm excited about the trip, but I'm still very sad about the passing on Friday of Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. I think a trip to the island is exactly what I need.

It is so sad to hear of the passing of Phil Lesh, the innovative bassist of the Grateful Dead. I have so many found memories of seeing Phil on stage during the many Dead shows I went to over the years. I also really enjoyed his book, Searching For The Sound. In Phil's memory, I'm kicking off the weekend with his song Pride of Cucamonga.

Grateful Dead Co-founder and Bassist Phil Lesh Dies at 84

Phil Lesh, the co-founder and former bassist of the Grateful Dead has died at age 84.

Lesh “passed peacefully” the morning of Oct. 25, his family said.

“He was surrounded by his family and full of love,” they said in a statement. “Phil brought immense joy to everyone around him and leaves behind a legacy of music and love.”

“Rest in peace, Phil Lesh,” Tinsley Ellis said. “A very sad day indeed.”

No cause was given, but Lesh had a liver transplant in 1998 and survived cancer and a couple of bouts with COVID-19.

“Phil Lesh - rest in peace,” said String Cheese Incident’s Jason Hann. “Wow, what a powerful musical influence on our community. Godspeed.”

Big Shrimp echoed Hann, writing on social media: “Without Phil Lesh there would be no Big Shrimp. Rest easy Phil, thank you for the music.”

The Empire State Building will be aglow in tie-dye in Lesh’s honor tonight.

“Phil was the big brother I never had,” former Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten said.

“Sixty-three years ago he introduced me to his friend Jerry Garcia. Too many things to say, memories, adventures. Maybe in a day or so, as the numbness abates.”

Lesh joined the Warlocks in 1965, just before they changed their name to the Grateful Dead. He stayed with the group until it disbanded in 1995 after Jerry Garcia’s death.

“I will never forget Phil and his impact on my life and music,” Greensky Bluegrass’ Dave Bruzza said.

Though he didn’t compose as much as Garcia and Bob Weir, Lesh’s “Box of Rain” and “Unbroken Chain” were among the Dead’s most-revered songs.

“I will sing ‘Box of Rain’ tonight in Ann Arbor,” Steve Poltz said on social media. “Phil Lesh, RIP.”

Post-’95, Lesh toured with his revolving band of Friends, co-founded Furthur with Weir and played with his former bandmates in the Others Ones and the Dead.

“My life would be completely different without Phil Lesh,” Eric Krasno said in a statement.

“Millions of others would say the same. He taught me and many other musical Friends that it was way more important to move together than to try to shine on our own. When we are all in sync together anything is possible. … Thank you, Phil, for bringing us all together, and thank you for endlessly sharing your gift and letting us tag along.”

The so-called Core Four - Lesh, Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart - last shared a stage in 2015 as Fare Thee Well.

“Thanks for the music, Phil,” Hyryder said. “Our love will not fade away.”

Gary- the snot nosed rat had been pushing her brothers again, somethig that seemed fairly normal nowadays, especially after Ash and Gary had a fallout.

Indigo had brushed it off, as had Ash.

"Lesh go," Peach said, still trying to get used to physically speaking. "Mom shaid food ish ready."

And Gary had latched onto that like a Sharpedo who smelled blood in the water.

"Oh She Did, Did She?" Gary grinned wide, batting his lashes obnoxiously at her brothers. "Better go home Ashy boy, unlesh you dont lishen to your dishabled shishter."

It was obvious he was trying to mock her, but Peach could really care less at this point. The kid was wildly insecure to come at her for /speaking/

"Knock it off!" Indigo snapped, but Gary just turned to him with a shit eating grin.

"Awe is lil Gogo gonna cry, so sad that his big sister is stupid like him?" He mocked, pouting his lip.

And Indigo turned red in anger, but a quick pat told him to knock it off. He hissed, pitched in his throat before huffing angrily.

Apparently, she missed the memo for when Ash got angry.

•Why does Ivy dislike Goofy? No one knows. I made it this way cuz in some Elsagate videos,when Goofy is in them,he’s depicted as a VILLAN?! I DUNNO WHY GOOFY ISH SO SWEET!!!! But since Ivy makes this sort of stuff,she probably has a distain for him…no one knows why,especially not the Goof!!

•Before she got with Pete,Ivy would romantically pursue Mortimer!!! Of course he made it very clear that he wanted nothing to do with “Miss Nutjob” he calls her…and now she hates him cuz he broke her heart. Say what chu wills,but now it’s like that!!! Mortimer was always a bit…scared of her. Especially now,seing that she can sick Pete on him if he makes her sad again!!!

•OH YEAH DID I MENTION IVY AND PETE ARE SO HECKING IN LOVE!!!! I WILL CRY TEARS OF JOY IF SOMEONE DREW SHIP ART OF DEM!!

•Ivy is meant to be a rival to Minnie!! Though Minnie is mostly okay with her,going for a while “Oh Ivy you’re so silly :>” type of thing. But that DOESN’T mean Minnie won’t stand her ground if she’s not able to deal with Ivy!!! Though sometimes they CAN get along (Is like in those Elsagate videos!! They are mostly rivals,but sometimes they help Eachother!! I think they were meant to be sisters or something in those videos…?)

•Most of the disliking towards Ivy is either from annoyance or fear. And in a lot of cases,both!!

•I figured Clarabelle would get along with her the best,aside from her peg legged lover!! They seem like da type to get along when Ivy isn’t causing mayhem!! Also they share the fact that Mortimer isn’t interested in either of them!! XD

•There’s DEFINITELY an episode where Ivy tries to help Max out with his relationship with Roxanne!! Her help is…questionable to him,but she’s genuinely trying!!! She claims she’s his Fairy Godmother when it comes to romance!! Max isn’t very comfy with her help,seeing as he didn’t really…ask for it…??

•I HAD NO IDEA WHAT 2 DO WIF DONALD’S NEPHEWS GAHHH!!!!!!

•It was Daisy’s idea to have Ivy and Pete realise they loved Eachother!! She claimed that maybe a relationship will stop the both of them from terrorising the house of mouse so much. It…didn’t,really. BUT DAISY REALLY WANTED TO DO IT BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THEY’D BE A CUTE COUPLE!!!! Her shipping dreams came true!!!!

•I dunno what to do with Horuss…he’s probably scared cuz she breaks her way into his booth by FORCE so she can play her own cartoons!! So he can be wary around her…

Captain 'Soap' MacTavish stands in Price office and he thinks he didn't hear Captain Price right. "I should look after Riley till either Roach returns or Ghost leaves the inframtry?" He ask for clarification, his right hand going troigh his mowhawk. "Soap, you're staying behind for the next mission. And Ghost clearly can't take care of Riley." "Can't just the kennel staff take care of Riley?", Soap ask desperately he can't take care of a dog, he dont even like dogs. "Soap, Riley is a Team member of the 141. She can't just stay in the kennels." Price looks at hin like he lost his mind for even suggesting this. Soap bits his lips so he don't talk back. In his eyes Riley is just a dog that by coincidence is owned by Ghost "Roach will be back in 5 days right?" He ask in defeat, hand running down his face. "Yes. You for sure can take care of Riley till then." Price trys to encourage him whike filling out some paper work, they never have a shortage of this. When they would have told Soap before he became Captain how much time in his life paperwork would become he would have said no. "Where is she?" Price smiles at him and Soap has the feeling Price tricked him in to taking care of Riley. "She's waiting in Ghost office." Soap knows the conversation is over so the only think he can do is picking up the dog. When he opens the door to Ghost office Riley greets him with a waking tail but the waking stops the second she notices that this is not Ghost who is not picking her up. The German shepard looks with big eyes at Soap laying down, looking sad. It feels quite personal how Riley reacts. Soap sighs, this is ridiculous he don't even likes Riley so her reaction to him should not bpther him. "Come Riley, time to get you out of this office aye?" Soap trys but the dog is not moving still waiting for her owner or the spare human to pick her up. Soap avoiding Riley as much as possible is really bitting him in the ass now. For the dog he's just a stranger. He slowly approaches the dog and kneels in front of her. "Roach and Ghost can't pick you up for a few days. So be a good girl and come with me." He very carefully holds his hand out for Riley to sent him.

Riley looks at the hand in front of her face carefully sniffing it. She's knows the smell some time her owner has this smell on him. But she never meet this human or atleast she can't remember. She carefully rubs her face against the hand, Ghost semms to trust this human and gets some hesitant ear scratches. "Good girl", the human says and Riley starts walking her tail happily at the praise. While petting Riley Soap thinks to himself that he can do this for 5 days. Riley is a well behaved dog, because Ghost trained her really good. the only think he has to get used to is around the dog. "How about we go on a walk?" Rileys ears peak up at the word walk. She moves to the door really fast waking her tail in exitment. Waiting for Soap to follow her. Soap picks up one of the leshes that Ghost has in his office and follows the dog to the bulding exit. Before opening the door he puts the leash on Rileys collar. What Soap doesn't know is that most people don't walk her instead she's dragging the human in the direction she wants to walk. The second they are outside Riley pulls Soap along with her on hers and Ghost usual track.

Soap gets pulled behind Riley who seems to know where she wants to walk along. Till Riley suddenly stops, with perk up ears, looking at a bush. "What is it Riley?", Soap mutters, shortly after a squirel is jumping out of the bush. Instinctly Soaps is holding the leach shorter, not feeling like running after Riley if she decides to chase the squirel. And she is nearly able to break free when she tries jumping forward to get closer to her prey. Soap gets pulled a bit but Riely don't get free the squirel can escape up a tree. "Don't look at me like this Riley" Soap says to the dog that is now sitting in the floor looking at him as if he just insulted her mother. Soap slowly starts walking again but Riley just lays down no intention to move in the near future. Soap feels how his patients is slowly crumbling, he didn't even want to take care of this dog and now she has to make thinks even harder then they need to? He sighs and sits next to Riley on the forest floor, slowly scratching her ear. "Aren't you chasing enough people, when Ghost is taking you with him?", he ask the dog perks up at what she thinks is the name of her owner. "Common be a good girl after we fished the walk I give you some food." At food Riley is standing up walking a bit in front and looking at Soap like he is the one who is delaying the walk. "I don't see why everyone loves this dog", Soap mumbles to himself.

Riley and Soap are standing on the runway looking how Price is taking the team that is going on the mission. Last check ups on the parachutes are made. "I trust you that the base will not be in ruins when I'm back Soap", Price half jokes. When Soap was still a sergeant he maybe played a littel with explosives accidently damaging a build on the base twice. "The base will still stand Price", Soap answers keeping the I may burn some of the paperwork to himself because Price left him 2 desk full of paperwork so he don't get bored. Riley lays on the asphalt looking sad clearly missing her owner and now also the human that gives her extra treats is leaving, worst day of her life. Price is kneeling in front of the dog giving her one of the dog treats he carries with him. "And you make sure that Soap is really not blowing up part of the base, yes?" "As if Riely could stop me", Soap mumbles. Price walks up the plane ramp and Riley let's out a sad whine. Now she was alone with this stranger. Soap scratches Riley favourite spot behind her left ear while they watch the plane taking of. Riley just looks sadly in to the distance, slowly waking her tail from time to time.

Riley lays depressed in Soaps office, there is no other way Soap can discripe the expresion on the dogs face. She's hopeing that Ghost will pick her up any second and let's out a sad whine. Soaps lift his head up alarmed by the sounds Riely is making. Soap feels his heart breaking a bit. Riley looks so sad laying at the door waiting for Ghost or Roach to pick her up. Soap picks up his phone texting Ghost.

>> You are looking after Riley?? <<

>> Price just left with a team for Belarus <<

>> They told me I have to stay here for 2 weeks, but I can sneak past the nurses tomorrow <<

>>It's fine, we had a nice walk earlier.<<

Ghost let's him waiting with his response so Soap makes a quick note to tell the inframtry that Ghost is planning on breaking out.

Soap send Ghost a picture of his desk and the gigantic stack of papers he has to work through.

Soap puts his phone down and makes the call to warn the inframtry about Ghost trying to sneak out, but the nurses assure him, that even the Ghost is unlikely to sneak out if he can't open doors by himself. Soap still told them to keep an extra eye on him. He looks at Riley and she seems to sleep.

After hours of paper work Soap trys to get Riley to move from her spot at the door. But Riley just looks totally unimpressed at him. "Common Riley, let's go for a walk." But he's not getting the same reaction like earlier this day. The dog still lays at her spot at the door, looking uterly sad. Soap thinks he has to carry her out of the building but when he puts the leash on her she slowly stands up. A very unmotivated dog is following him to the outside. Soap is walking in the direction of the path Riley led him down earlier to day. The walk is depressing Riley just slowly following looking sad the hole time. The only time Riley starts to look happy again is when the two are walking a in the direction of Ghost room. But Rileys spirit is shattered relatively fast when she don't see Ghost in there. She jumps on the bed and lays down. Riley starts to whine because she misses Ghost. Soap slowly sits down on bed aswell to try and comfort the dog. For a few minutes he thinks about if he will be able to smugel Riley in the the imframtry, but he shakes his head, he is already on the shit list of the head nurse for brining Price his cigares. He looks around for the shirt Ghost mentioned in his SMS. Finding it laying on Rilyes dog bed. He picks it up and Riley sits up lifting one of her paws. Soap just looks a bit dumbfounds before he puts the sirt on Riley her front paws trow the sleeves and then Riley is just dropping back down on the bed. "Guess i can let you stay here. You will be a good girl yes?", Soap says to the dog, feeling dumb to talk to a animal. When Soap is about to close the door Riely follows him out of the room. Soap lets her in to his own room and for a good 20 minutes Riley sniffs every conor of the room. Riely then lays down on a pile of clothes Soap left on the floor. Closing her eyes. Soap gets ready to sleep himself, not knowing he will learn what Ghost meant with Riley dont sleeps in her dog bed. that she prefers to cuddel with who ever is nearest every night. Ghost really tried to teach her to just sleep on the dog bed its the only think Ghost could not teach this dog, human beds are of limot. First he was really annoyed but now he really likes cuddeling with his dog, but he would lie to your face if you ask him about it.

In the inframtry Ghost is cursing out Soap for ratting him out to the nurses and stop feeling bad that Riley will give the Captain a fucking heart attack.

TERRAPIN CROSSROADS/DARKSTARATHON #4: PHIL LESH with Stu Allen, Jason Crosby, John Molo, and Barry Sless

I’ve been reading reviews of 1990s GD shows that are candid and nuanced that do find nuggets where Garcia pulls it together. But they are sad documents of decline. I was at 1994 and 1995 shows and was glad I was there after a 17 year hiatus. No it wasn’t the glory days but it was them.

I have tried to be candid and worried that PHIL LESH was not only less prominent in the mix and less swooping, but less engaged and playing safer. I don’t think that’s true. He is up in the mix and so it’s easier to tell that he’s thoroughly engaged if subtler. I hope this is not rationalization, but

I’m hooked and do treasure these opportunities to see him create this atmosphere and take us and bandmates along. The players are worthy but derivative in the way that anyone playing driving saxophone over swirling modal piano is derivative of Coltrane/Tyner or beboppers, particularly altoists, are derivative of Parker or Baroque composers are derivative of Bach (though we may all be). It was good to finally see Barry Sless on guitar, not pedal steel. I don’t know if it makes him more or less derivative to be the one dropping teases (of Cryptical Envelopment, Here Comes Sunshine, Help on the Way, Scarlet Begonias at least) or whether he is the most adventurous. Stu Allen is solid but maybe a little harsh in tone; his singing certainly is—and Lesh is even worse. John Molo is, as always, a wonder and with Lesh and Sless ready for the possibilities in the music.

Darkstarathon episodes are straight through jams and this one had more distinct sections of that than, despite Sless’ teases, than songs in the middle of the jams. Interesting selections—Ramble On Rose and Jack-a-Roe—to jam in and out of, but that’s part of the aesthetic Lesh keeps alive.

Is Lesh in decline? Yes, but not like Garcia. Not like Garcia because? It’s not drugs? Because Lesh is 30 years older? Because it’s not in front of tens of thousands people a night paying top dollar? Because this music is a gift (and it is a gift of unadorned intimacy. I don’t begrudge Dead and Company the Sphere run, but that leaves me cold.)?

I look forward to next time, glad that there will be one.

Cult of the lamb Fanfic(The Epilogue of The Nightosphere).

Chapter 1 : "Living Easy in Peaceful Pastures(Lamb's POV)

Synopsis : "After Defeating all 4 Bishops in the Old Faith along with his Final Battle with Narinder, Lambert Enjoys a Nice Peaceful Day just Reminiscing about the Future and What Happens Next now that he has Spared Nari into a Life of Reformer Punishment along with his Many Loyal Followers & Spouses.

"Twas a Beautiful Sunny Day in The Cult of Nightosphere, The Birds were Chirping very Heavenly and Sweetly Sung their Songs of Tweets & Chirps, While The Trees were Blowing in The Cool Gentle Breeze of the winds which felt warm and relaxing. It has currently been 915 days since Lambert became a Powerful Lamb & Desired Cult Leader to his Many Loyal Followers both old and new as well as Taking Time Reforming his Latest Spouse Narinder(aka TOWW) but just calls himself Narinder or Nari Nicknamed by Lambert Only. It took a while for him to warm up to the young lamb he resisted at first once he was spared by him and sent to his thriving cult.

Lambert meanwhile felt it was hopeless to Warm Up/Reform Narinder Slowly and Carefully when he first joined the cult and met a few good friends on his first few days. Narinder felt as though his Life as a Immortal Powerful God was Over, Once a all-mighty God of Death and Sin now turned into a Small Measly and Cute Follower like the rest of Lamb's Cultists.

Lambert checked around to see if things were going well in the cult. One of his new Spouses Samantha was farming and was also currently the most Beloved & Longest Lived Spouse next to her Comrades Lady Dimistru & M3gan(whom are Currently 700 yrs old respectively) Narinder has a Somewhat Jealousy with his Husband's Other Spouses/Lovers in Their Marriage which was Fine with Samantha but then got Bigger Overtime with Lambert finding New Lovers he's Interested in Falling in love with and immediately tying the knot during wedding rituals.

Throughout his Many Spouses no matter what Lambert told Nari that you'll always be my Number One in my Heart for All Eternity no matter how many Cultists I choose to Marry as a Leader. Which Nari himself really appreciates a whole lot. Thankfully he's been gifted many treasures a Moon Necklace so he'll never sleep and work all night long(which he hates a lot but chooses to sleep on his own command) & and has Long Lasting Friendship bond with Lambert by him completing his many Requests to Remember his Fallen Siblings esp his Most Closests Ones being Leshy & Shamura.

He Explained one day to lambert why he cares abt his Youngest Brother Leshy & Eldest Brother Shamura a whole lot and that was because he had a better bond and connection towards them than his Sister Heket or Middle Older Bro Kallamar. which for Leshy, Narinder always protected him no matter what happens in the future and always treated him like his own Baby Brother with love and care. while with Shamura he enjoyed spending Quality Time with them from Reading Books abt the Crowns, The Old Faith and etc to Learning Skills like Fighting Combats before Betraying his Brother and his 3 other sibs forever.

Lambert was Heartbroken to hear Narinder's Past Sins with his Siblings esp Lesh & Shamy(Nicknames by Narinder since Birth) and hopes to Try and Bring all of them back. and even have full closesure with getting Aym & Baal back to Forneous which Narinder agreed to for the twin's sake and his Ex Wife's Sadness...

The Two then Sat Together in a Small Shaded Spot near the Temple just Sun Gazing and Napping Together with Narinder fallen asleep on Lamb's Shoulder. The Lamb smiled at his Husband sleeping next to him and covered his Fleece over him like a Blanket while Cult continued working as usual.

Lamb then looked up at the sky and had hope that the Future looks bright for the Cult and hopefully will give Narinder's Family Back as a Thank You gift.
