Hi, um, hope I ain't bothering you but... I had a bad morning to say the least. Can you possibly write Deathslinger, Wraith, Doctor, and Pyramid Head comforting/hugging reader s/o who's been remembering bad memories about their mentally/emotionally abusive mom? Just... You can ignore this if you don't wanna write it...

You're not bothering me at all. I totally get it and I hope you feel better! I too have many mornings like that so just know you aren't alone my friend. I may have self-projected some of my mommy issues in this tbh. I know that it's hard so just know you have more people who love and care for you <3

Dbd x gn!reader (fem!reader in Herman's, should be gn! the rest of it tho)

Description: dbd killers give comfort to their s/o.

This is angsty but it is also a comfort fic.

Deathslinger:

You sigh as you walk around the sunny realm of your boyfriend. It has been a bad day for you, you would say. You had very little sleep the night before due to, what you like to call, the hauntings. You got up, rubbed your eyes, and headed towards the one place that gives you the most comfort and now here you were.

You went around looking for Caleb, but you sadly couldn’t find him anywhere. At this point you were going to cry. You don’t like it here and you didn’t like your life too much beforehand, but at least you have Caleb. You never talked about your life before the Entity and neither did Caleb. Sometimes you would get something small from him where he would mention his gang. Nothing more than that though. You had a family, but it wasn’t really a family was it? You scoffed at the thought and sat down in the saloon. You leaned over the bar and grabbed a glass and put just a little whiskey in it. You don’t like drinking very much… too used to seeing it take a negative effect on those around you.

You’re getting angsty. Where is Caleb? You feel your eyes burn from the build up of unreleased tears and the feeling of being overwhelmed taking over you. You get up with the glass in your hand and you’re about to throw the drink at the wall before a hand grabs your wrist and turns you around. You look at Caleb and he was already looking at you with softened, but confused eyes. “What’s wrong darlin’?” Caleb asked while grabbing the glass from your hand and setting it down on the nearby table. He wrapped his arms around you as you threw your face into his chest sniffling. 

He has never seen you so upset before and he isn’t completely sure what to do. He just let you cry it out and held you close to him. Pressing a kiss here and there on top of your head and repeating “It’s ok. I’m here. I’m here.” You didn’t realize how comforting hearing him say that to you. You look into his eyes and whisper a small “Forever?” Even though you both know the unpredictability of where you are and how the situation may change one day, he couldn’t help how innocent it sounded coming from you and replied with a small “Always.” as he gives you a small kiss on the lips.

Wraith:

Philip knew there was something off when in the trial you were giving up easily on things. You always were a strong team player and always helped others by healing them once you got them off the hook. Philip hated how he had to hook you in his trials, but he really wanted to end this trial quickly so he can get to you. 

None of the generators were working and every survivor was gone. Except for you. His sweet love. He appeared behind you with his little jingle. He was expecting you to excitedly turn to him. However, that didn’t happen. 

You felt so numb. All the memories of your past coming up and how you just wish some part of your life was normal. Never would you have thought you’d ask for normalcy in your life. But here you are. You heard Philips jingle, but you just couldn’t shake off the feeling of dread in you. So deeply rooted inside of you. Philip could feel the sadness coming off of you in waves. Philip is so used to seeing such happiness from you. He doesn’t know how to change things. He does know, however, to comfort you. 

He sat down on the ground behind you, his legs open and his hands gently reaching out for you. When you felt his hands on your waist, you knew you would be ok as soon as you were wrapped in his arms. He pulled you in between his legs and wrapped himself tighter around you. He felt you melt into his body and made a happy grunt that you were seemingly at peace. You looked up at him and softly said, “You’re the only family I’ll ever need.” You then tucked your head under his chin and felt so much more at peace. Philip just felt all his blood rush to his face and nearly felt the sting of tears in his eyes at the sentiment of that statement.

Oh how he loves you.

Doctor:

“Herman, I don’t see the point in this. You’re not a therapist anymore. Just crazy.” You let out a laugh at the face he gave you as he turned to look at you in his wheely chair. “I’m going to pretend you didn’t just say that. For your sake, my flower.” he said monotonously as he gave a tiny harmless zap to your thigh. He chuckled at your little yelp and then he soothed his hand where he shocked you. “I wasn’t asking to be your therapist… I’m telling you, you need to talk to me.”

You sighed as you crossed your arms. You see that he has already taken notes on his observations of you in the past few days. You tried reading them, but his handwriting can be a little difficult to read sometimes. “I just want to know what is making you wither. You haven’t been yourself and I don’t like seeing you so glum. You are more delicate than you want to appear. Buut, you are stronger than you think as well. I’m assuming you’ve been sad because you’ve been thinking of your past life.” You looked at him, a little embarrassed, but not surprised he came to that conclusion.

“Yeah. I just don’t exactly know how to talk about it. I-... I wanted to forget about it. I’ve just been having those dreams… where they’re almost like memories. Just… not… good ones.” You say as you look down at your feet. Twisting the front of your right foot to grind the broken glass on the floor. Herman scooted his chair over to where your legs were placed between his. He looked up at you and gently cupped his hand behind your knee, thumb brushing against your kneecap. He used his other hand to grab your hand and he brought your hand to cup his face. 

“Was it about your mom?” he asked. You looked at him with almost a blank stare. The only reason he was able to ask without you explaining more was because you were his s/o before the Entity brought you both here. You were happy to be back with him, just wish it were under better circumstances here. You guys were engaged back in the day. Your ring is still on your finger. Herman loves you and understands that your mom was always hard for you to talk about. It’s been more of a problem lately because you both found out you were pregnant. Becoming a mom was something you were scared of because you didn’t want to be like your mom. Not like you’d ever let that happen. Nor would Herman for that matter. 

“Herman, do you think I’ll be a good mom?” you ask with tears running down your face. Herman stood up and cupped your face gently and wiped away your tears. “My dear. With the heart and brain you have, you will be the best mom there ever was.” He brushed his nose against your cheek. 

I guess you can’t ignore the doctor. If he says it, it must be true. You smile at him and kiss his cheekbone and instantly remember that you’ll never be your mom. You have the support system you need in Herman.

Pyramid Head:

Living in Silent Hill was not the life you would’ve imagined for yourself, but with a protector and s/o like Pyramid Head, you’re at least not lonely. 

The way you met this monster of a man was due to his need to kill the worst people and monsters. He heard you. From miles away. He heard the beating of your innocent heart and the terrible one that was attacking you. He knew it was time to take you from this creature. The purity in your heart couldn't be destroyed by something so evil.  

When it happened, you were crying. You were scared you were going to be killed, but all this creature did was reach down and caress your cheek with the back of his hand. 

He picked you up with his empty arm, almost cradling you because of how massive he was. He took you to a safe place. Somewhere far away from the madness. He was your home now. He gave you safety and he was a perfect heater for the cold nights. He grabbed you things that you might need while he was out on his runs. He never let you leave. He knows the the connection your soul has to the one he took you from. Yet, he knew your soul was connecting with his in a very strong bond. 

He came home to you after an uneventful day. He leaned his giant knife against the wall and laid down on the giant nest of a bed you made when he brought you here. You came in with a glass of water and laid down next to him. You rest your head on his chest and cuddle into him. His arm wraps around you tightly and you feel like nothing else matters. You have Pyramid Head to care for you and to keep you safe. His comfort was all you needed when the days were gloomy. He obviously can’t give any verbal comfort, but the physical comfort was all you needed.

Yippie! So silly (kinda sad) idea I had I while ago that I need to draw about again aaaa— Anyway, there were a lot details that had me thinking about stuff in certain games. Harmony of Despair has the “Helmont/Shiimon/Simon Wraith” enemies that have this ominous description of “some say this is what happened to Simon Belmont in the end”, and it’s just never mentioned again. Like damn ok that’s uh some interesting information wow uh— Also that coupled with the hanging skeletons being a reference to Simon in CV4 and also being in the hanged man position, the family heirlooms in the ghostly Dracula’s castle in Harmony of Dissonance, and the quest for Anna in Order of Ecclesia about helping her cat protect her from dark spirits that’s ended with a really sudden line about her having nightmares about a man with a whip fighting something scary, my guy is haunting the narrative and doesn’t sound like he’s doing so great 💀.

So the Ghost Simon concept was born and uh here he is I guess lol. Part of it also came from the idea that we’ve already seen a ghost companion in the series in Wind (if you know you know), but what if there was one you had to help that was a little more uh what’s the word… tormented? Vengeful? Upset in general? Yeah. He’s kinda just a mix of a bunch of different ghost lore, not one in particular. Fun fact: Dulahans sometimes use their own spines as a whip :3. And in a lot of folklore Strigoi often prey on their own family members, especially the younger girls in the family. But yeah, he’s just kind of a nuisance, not really like ‘evil’ or anything. Breaks things sometimes, generally pesters people, only occasionally a minor threat. Maybe leaves bloody footprints sometimes, turns paintings crooked, writes omens on walls, ya know, average ghost activities. I like to think that the boss rush with him in HoD is what he’s been doing for a while. Maybe Juste unknowingly takes him home with some of the furniture, probably the grandfather clock lol. Idk it’s just a fun what if idea for fun tho mostly d(^^ ).

DAY FOUR - Eliminations

Honestly the hardest thing about bachelorettes are the eliminations. It is so hard to have my sims part ways with your lovely sims, but I guess that's how it works, Larissa can't have everyone :'(

The first elimination was Wraith. Sadly, even tho he accepted Larissa's flirtatious advances, it always came with something negative after. I really do love him personally, but he and Larissa are not meant to be I guess :( he also had more romance with other competitors than larissa xD

The last elimination for the day was Winnie. She is such a doll and I really do love her so much, but when it came to flirting with Larissa, she was not much interested. She also didn't really find Larissa attractive, which is sad, but everyone has their type.

Viktors presence calms her down so she likes being around him whenever possible

When her anxiety gets going (which is often) he knows she needs more comfort and to be grounded, so he holds her hand.

They’re very touchy with each other which starts bc of Isabelle’s anxiety but at this point it’s just natural for them to always be touching in some way

If they hold hands for too long she’ll start playing with his

She doesn’t like talking to strangers so when someone comes up to talk suddenly she’ll look to Viktor and he knows to speak for her

She’ll wear his hoodies/sweaters whenever possible

When they’re sleeping together she likes to sleep on his chest and cover them both / wrap her wings around them

She likes to smooch the base of his horns to get him flustered 🤭

At some point Isabelle will start calling viks parents mom and dad

Leliana (siren, Lucien route):

They will absolutely be Ariel and Eric for Halloween (if that wasn’t obvious from my recent art 🤭)

Leliana will tell Lucien “I love you” all the time, because she never stopped and she wants him to know she always will

When the moment is right and she sees his back with no shirt on she’ll kiss the scar on his wing/back

Even tho it’s hard for nephilims with wings to swim, she’d definitely take him swimming in the shallow part/shore of the ocean. Lucien is always mesmerized by her siren form so she’ll splash him to get him to focus lol

Her legs get tired easily, especially when she wears heels. So when Lucien notices her getting too tired he’ll carry her bridal style wherever they need to go

They’ll take baths together and Leliana will like to wash Lucien’s hair and just cuddle for a few min before getting out

Leliana will mayhaps like to softly bite him with her sharp teeth during spicy times 🫣

Kamry (wraith, Avery route):

Less obvious than the others but her and Avery would be Sally and Jack for Halloween

Steals Avery’s clothes whenever possible

Whenever Avery is in a bad mood she’ll do the thing where you poke someone’s mouth corners to make them smile 🤭

I’ve thought the least about her route mainly bc I know the least about Avery so I don’t have many headcanons yet I’m sorry 😅

Elena (nephilim, Theodore route):

Also less obvious but they would be Rapunzel and Eugene for Halloween

They are the literal version of the angel x demon ship trope

Theo always knows how to make her smile. When she’s sad he’ll surprise tickle her to make her laugh

They’ll post so many cute couple pictures online, everyone is jealous

When he’s being too annoying she’ll grab his tail 🤭🤭

She likes to tell him “good boy” - in the bedroom and out just to see him get a little red 🤭

When she sees him getting really angry about to go full cambion she’ll hold his hand or wrap herself around his arm to calm him down

They’ll definitely fly together, being cute in the sky, wrapping their wings around each other 🥰

- I truly do not understand the whole surgery thing. What exactly are they doing to her and how tf is it not permanent or leaving any lasting effects???

- Ronon's little smile at saying they were getting their asses kicked is so cute

- at least they finally got a new actor to play the Primary wraith queen

- ahhhh Ronon loves her so muchhhh

- Ronon and Rodney are both like obsessed with Sheppard (for different reasons), but it's hilarious that when they're without Sheppard, they're just a mess of a duo. Like they cannot agree on anything, they're constantly bickering, it's a mess

- idk about y'all, but I ship Keller with Kyrik more than anyone else

- honestly the counsel isn't entirely wrong, but they've been trying their best to fix their mistake and they're the best hope this galaxy has of defeating the wraith

- plus the fact that they woke them up early led to the infighting which gave them the advantage to defeat them

- why're they showing clips of the wraith that was converted long after Michael with the consent of the queen instead of Michael's transformation when that's what they were talking about?

- y'all they are fully tripping if they think the Genii's nuclear plan was going to defeat the wraith, there are far too many for them to have succeeded with a plan like that. Working with Atlantis there could've been a really helpful alliance but instead they decided to betray them again and again

- Atlantis has been making a lot of unilateral decisions yes, but like they said, they're the only ones out there fighting them. The ancients failed and there was no one left with the tech or numbers to stand up to them until the expedition showed up

- a lot of their plans have made things worse in some ways, but that's what happens when you're taking action, you can't be sure how things will turn out most of the time but you have to do something

- SG-1 got shit for this too about how they went about fighting the Goa'uld, but again, they were trying. Granted so were the Tok'ra, but they were also letting people die, leaving worlds enslaved, and had completely written off the Jaffa

- not to mention the fact that they've been expending countless resources giving aid to every society in need they come across, most of the time with zero in return

- these people revere the ancients as gods even though they were quite literally the cause of the wraith and replicators existing and abandoned the pegasus galaxy when they realized they couldn't atop the wraith, but now they put the expedition on trial for accidentally stumbling across what they left??? It's not their fault that the ancients left a damn minefield of awful shit across the whole damn galaxy

- I just noticed that Ronon had to physically drag Sheppard away when Elizabeth was sacrificing themselves

- I know that these people are upset but if they didn't wake them and they had those 50 years to prepare, the lives would've been lost anyway, different lives but lives nonetheless. At least with Atlantis here they have the chance to win and save future generations from this ever happening again

Yes I have played Hey, Pikmin! and while it's not a good Pikmin game, it's a pretty decent game (You get me? Like, it's a decent game with a pretty good concept, the formula just doesn't work in the Pikmin series.)

I have cried when playing every Pikmin game, some when I was a child. I did cry at both the Pikmin 3, and Pikmin 4 credits. Shut up, it was wonderful dude

I still almost tear up at the Pikmin 3 credits. Dude that shit is sad for some reason idk why

I also did cry at the trailer for Pikmin 3 Deluxe and both of Pikmin 4's. I love this series if you can't tell.

And finally, I have beaten Pikmin 3 so many times on the Wii U, I got so bored that I did a 1 type of fruit a day challenge. I did it. I lived. It was funny as hell. I have made that game beg for mercy and the Plasm Wraith has become my play thing. (I love 3 so much lmao)

but god, i remember s5, the broken ghost. everyone celebrating caustic choking loba out, calling her a bitch for getting their beloved white waifu wattson hurt. then when caustic was revealed to be manipulating wattson and being a traitor...suddenly crickets? suddenly "oh he's so misunderstood and tragic because he doesn't know how to properly convey love". FOH

to be honest though it isn't always as clear cut as women=good and men=bad, trauma victims like you said get treated like SHIT by the apex fandom when they aren't perfect sad babies. during TPS people were cropping one of octane's statements out of context and there was like ZERO empathy from half the fanbase talking about an abuse victim...*acting* like an abuse victim. and then this goes in reverse, too, octane stans coddling him while calling lifeline a cunt for the way she treated him.

like no!!! they were BOTH cunts!!! but also even if you think they handled their situation poorly can we at least extend nuance to the conversation because we know they've both been abu--ah, nope, fandom verdict is octane is just selfish for the sake of selfish and lifeline is controlling for the sake of controlling.

actually ive pinpointed the root cause while writing this, which is that like half of the apex fandom has the comprehension of a brick. since most of the female characters are actually well written nuanced people and most of the male characters are shallow as fuck, that's why there's a deep divide on top of the normal flavor of misogyny. because the apex community takes everything done at surface value and goes "wow loba is a cunt but mirage is my perfect little baby tho"

first off, this bit from ch.5 of Polluted Marrow;

She atones for what’s about to come out of her mouth by letting herself be gathered up and held still, gritting her teeth through the pins and needles of unwanted touch. And there, cradled in her mother's arms where no one else can hear her muffled voice as it creaks and croaks and crackles into being, Max delivers the killing blow. "I-If you want me in Seattle, you'll have to take me back in a bodybag." It works like a charm, ugly though it may be. First the arms around her slacken in surprise, then her mother pulls back to look at her, paled and appalled, hands tightening around her shoulders. Max holds her stare, because she means it with every mangled fibre of her soul. It's not a persuasion. It's a promise, a threat and a confession inextricably linked, crowned in shame and so, so heavy.  Yet more weight to shed.  And Max funnels all of that dread and disdain straight into her expression. She may still be small, she may look like nothing more than frail prey, but she's not the wide-eyed, innocent child her mother is thinking of. She can look out for herself, even if she treats it as an annoyance. She's taught herself discipline, focus, despair, perseverance. She can take hit after hit, and if she falls she knows to pick herself back up, dust herself off and get back in the ring. She’s been face to face with one of the most insidious creatures this world had to offer and made herself sharp enough to match him. Besides, it would be foolish to underestimate a prey's ability to injure. A deer's antlers can still batter, a rabbit's teeth can still puncture. okay so for some reason when i was writing up my brainstorming notes for this chapter, i did this scene from vanessa's perspective which was. really unhelpful when it came to actual writing but i managed to get something useable out of them lmao. anyways i specifically said "she's looking at Max and she's seeing all of her stubbornness and all of Ryan's quiet simmering determination" which i thought was metal af but i couldn't actually put it in bc of how i tend to do pov's. i still tried my best to weave The Vibe of it in there tho

speaking of Ryan there was also a little bit just before this where i mention that he isn't there, which stems from my headcanon that he's always felt really fucking bad about moving Max away from Chloe, so he tried to make it 'worth it' by working extra to have a bit more money. however this doesn't really work in his favor bc he ends up doing a fuckload of overtime and just doesn't have much time off so Max has been feeling more and more distant from him over the years; hence why she's not surprised + the slightest bit bitter in thinking, "But he's not here."

for my already cheating second bit i'm going to cheat More and talk about a fic i haven't even finished yet bc i'm really meguca-brained today.

so from the as of yet unpublished sequel to Spiderlily, Daffodil;

She sets a plate down in front of Homura. A meagre portion compared to her own, hardly more than a few spoonfuls.  "Eat," she says, nodding towards it. Homura blinks down at it. She can still taste saltwater. A scoff, small and hollow. Kyoko sits herself down on the opposite side of the table in a harsh, hapless heap. "Mami's too gentle on you, lettin' you skip meals all the time. Eat it or I'll kick your ass." There's no real threat in her tone, just low, weighted exhaustion. Her stubbornness remains intact, however. She sits there, stare piercing, arms crossed, until Homura finally takes a bite. Only then does she start on her own dinner.

i just. i'm so normal about my wraith timeline Kyoko and Mami looking after Homura like she's their sad wet dumpster cat <3

Kyoko tries her best to be patient but she projects a lot of her Sayaka trauma onto Homura and is much more willing to ask questions/call her out than Mami is. she and Mami have spoken at length about What To Do With Homura basically and most of the time she secedes to Mami's insistence on not pushing her too hard.

This scene takes place after Homura's done some Self Destructive Shit (again) and also Mami's not present so Kyoko has free reign to be as insistent as she wants. But despite grumbling about Mami being too gentle she is, in fact, also being super gentle by way of making dinner and tea and just doing her best to take care of the absolute trainwreck that is wraith arc Homura.

I keep seeing posts abt nandor willing to die for guillermo in s4ep4 being a big deal and it is but also i think its rlly interesting how death is a very quick solution to jump to for the vampires

theyve lived for so long that death doesnt really scare them, it just is something arguably undesirable

ie: nadja says she’ll kill all the wraiths to bust their union, laszlo kills all the racoons for the council, nandor says “lol i dont really want to kill you guillermo but if its the only option-“

so to me its less about “wow he’d sacrifice himself thats so sad” because honestly i think thats a really quick conclusion to jump to as a vamp (even tho its still rlly meaningful). its more about guillermo’s response. we see in s1 hes completely fucking mad when nandor threatens his mortality, and he’s battling his inner self about if the vamps care for him. now he brushes over it. i think its a new small detail of development that showcases his confidence: 1) he knows nandor would not hurt him for sure, 2) he understands the vampire mindset and chooses to handle it in his own way. he really is becoming part of the family and that makes me rlly happy!

theres also nadja’s comment about friends busting balls in episode one of this season, where she tells guillermo to calm down because friends bust each other’s balls all the time! it seems that they see Guillermo as a friend, and they are just as mean to him as they would be to each other. And i love that.

The Wraith || Philip Ojomo: ok so hear me out, i know literally 99,99% of the fandom portrays him as a shy, awkward boi because oh he's invisible but imo i think he's more miserable than shy/reserved. Like he went through all that trauma, had his face melted while trying to kill one of the killing crews, had been tricked into killing so many people without him even knowing, then he snapped because of the horrible things he was made to do, killed his boss etc. I think he cloaks because he doesn't identify as the monster he was made to be. So, if he ever got the luck of finding an s/o, I think that in his misery he is way past the point of caring abt physical appearance, so his s/o could be a brown spot on a banana and he would still love them to no end. (pls just tell him he is not a monster and that he's pretty he needs it )

The Hillbilly || Max Thompson Jr. : Another traumatised boy, he screams of body positivity. As long as his s/o loves him and treats him like a normal human being he will see them as the most beautiful thing in the world.

The Ghostface || Danny Johnson: His add on is a bottle of perfume, so you can imagine that he would want his s/o to be at least as good looking as him (he would still consider himself the prettier one, because narcissistic bitch). Again, h o w e v e r, if we go with the friends to lovers trope, where his s/o doesn't judge his little hobby and perhaps even finds it cool, he wouldn't mind the looks (he would pamper his s/o himself, even paint their nails because I KNOW THAT FUCKER WEARS BLACK NAIL POLISH AND IS EVEN GOOD AT APPLYING IT).

It's not uncommon for killers to give up when they see they're in Haddonfield. Some try to take the challenge and actually succeed, but most don't even bother and prefer to deal with the punishment from the entity.

You and your teammates look excitedly at each other after waking up in the familiar Myers house together–until you all hear a familiar bing bong behind you.

Confident in your own abilities, you decide to take the first chase with Wraith. Everyone else splits off to get out of your way and work on some generators while staying relatively close to the area; with Bill giving you an assured nod, silently telling you that if you run into trouble he's more than ready to jump in.

Wraith manages to land a hit on you when you try to jump off the balcony of one of the houses and it causes you to stumble forward, disoriented. You're not Nea, you don't know why you even tried that stunt, but you won't let the throbbing pain hinder you. You keep running and make it to a loop at the garage, when all of a sudden three gens pop at once.

You and Wraith both stop and look up, and you see his face fall in disappointment. Before you realize what's going on, he quickly bangs Azarov's skull against the bell and vanishes down the street.

You frown as you try to follow his shimmery image, but quickly lose him.

"Hey, wait!" you call out. You try throwing down the pallet and fast vaulting over it to get his attention, but to no avail. You run down the street and start looking for Wraith, but you can't see him anywhere.

Well, duh. He's invisible. You roll your eyes at yourself. How do you find someone who literally can't be seen?

You're met with a moment of clarity, it's like Albert Einstein blesses you with the gift of knowledge for just the briefest moment as you remember: Wraith snarls. When he's cloaked, he makes very subtle noises, even while standing still.

So, you stop looking with your eyes and start looking with your ears instead. You go around the corners of the map and perk up whenever the leaves rustle. Your searching leads you into the dreaded basement, and finally, you hear it.

Right by the already open chest, there's a faint pained breath.

"Wraith?" you ask. The shifting shimmer tells you everything you need to know. You grin. "I found you!"

Hesitantly, he rings his bell and reveals himself. He looks down at you, and makes no move to attack.

"I've been searching for like, five minutes!" you say, laughing. Ow. You should probably stop that, your ribs hurt and you're leaving puddles of blood everywhere. "You're really good at hide and seek."

Wraith's head tilts, and his features morph into that of confusion. He clearly doesn't know what you're talking about.

"It's a game where one person is trying to stay out of view, and the other person is looking for them," you elaborate. "Kinda like what we do in these trials, but a lot less pain and death."

Wraith nods, slowly.

"I know you don't wanna... Do that, anymore," you say, and wince as another generator sounds off in the distance. "So do you wanna play this with me until they finish?"

Wraith looks between you and upstairs, then nods again. His expression is neutral, but his eyes are lit up in a way that clearly show he's excited.

Or he has bloodlust and this is all just a sick mind game. You seriously hope it's the former.

"I'm gonna go hide, okay? Count to twenty then come look for me! And then you gotta tag me when you find me." To signify your point and sign your death wish, you poke him on the chest. "You're it."

You run upstairs and don't look back, because if you angered him this is going to turn bad quickly. You hide behind some barricades at the end of the street, chest heaving, and see Claudette working on a dull totem next to you.

"Hey," you whisper, slightly out of breath.

"Hey," she says with a smile. The bones crumble to dust once she finishes, and she gives you a look of concern. "You're hurt! How long have you been running Wraith?"

"Uh, a long time," you say distractedly, and peek out behind your hiding spot. You don't spot him yet, and you don't hear his breathing...

"Bill's gonna be proud," Claudette says.

You let out a small laugh but quickly cover your mouth when your eyes catch onto the warped space just outside of a house. Shit.

"Do you want me to heal you up?" Claudette asks, already getting her tools out of her medkit. You grab her wrist and look her dead in the eye.

"No, he'll hear it," you say quietly. Claudette looks terrified, and you actually see her lip quiver when the bing bong sounds off behind you.

Wraith materializes, then he extends Azarov's skull and copies your movement from before. He slowly pokes your chest, with a small smile on his lips.

As quickly as he came, he leaves, turning invisible and practically sprinting through the hedges.

"What just happened?" Claudette asks.

"No time to answer, I gotta catch him quick!" you say, and run off after Wraith. Claudette watches you go, confused but sure you know what you're doing, even if she doesn’t.

You don't manage to find him before Bill and Jake finish the last generator. You're upset, and at the exit gates, you don't leave with the rest of your team. You stand there, waiting as the clock ticks down, when Wraith finally shows himself.

He doesn't look upset, though. In fact, it looks like he's absolutely beaming at your sad demeanor.

"Yeah, yeah, some of us don't have the ability to go invisible on a whim!" you say sarcastically, and watch as his shoulders shake with silent laughter.

"Next time, you won't be so lucky," you promise.

He waves you off with his grin still in place, and then swings towards the exit gate. You leave, feeling more excited than ever to have another match against Wraith.

💥: Hunter as a wraith struggles a lot with several emotions but the ones he’s never been able to fully grasp is Love, Humor, and Sadness. He’s been getting better but he simply doesn’t fully understand them… and how could he? Those are very specific to social group behavior, and he has so much to learn in that regard! But don’t worry he will get there :)

🎵: well Hunter’s playlist has like 8 songs on it called blood, His canon favorite artist for whatever reason is DED. The vibes on that playlist i feel are just simultaneously batshit high energy and lo-fi beats to murder and maim to.

💤: Liam does NOT fall asleep easy but once he does fall asleep he’s hard to wake up. What’s always helped him sleep is a hot drink of Cinnamon Milk. Tends to relax his muscles and mind, having a little short bread cookie with it every once in a while as a treat as well.

🖍: I wanna tell him like Things are gonna be okay and he can live one day happy and not actively destroying himself. He eventually gets that peace… but it takes him a good long while to get it.

🌠: I wanna say he’d wish for something wholesome but Liam might blow the wish on something stupid. But i guess it depends on the point of life he’s in at the time LMAO.

Danny likes to play a fair game (sometimes it’s really only fair for him) but sometimes some survivors make the game boring and he complains. Where’s the fun when a survivor just...doesn’t care if they die or not? Danny doesn’t appreciate that because it just makes the trial boring for him. C’mon! Where’s the chase?? The begging “don’t kill me pls!!”??? 

Johnson has noticed how the other survivors just abuse the fact you don’t care if you live or die and...barely fear the Entity and its killers. Uh, alright hun, but no. He’ll “playfully” try to get you to run so he can chase you, or scream, beg, something. Nope, you honestly didn’t care. He can’t really do much so he’ll let that pass for now.

Philip Ojomo/The Wraith 

Philip still has a bit of humanity inside him so when he noticed it, he was a bit...uncomfortable. He hates killing so he kinda just lets you go most of the time, sometimes he thinks about going to talk to you about it but he brushes that aside. Every time the survivors try to use you to escape, he’ll ignore you and go after them instead. Yup, he can be pretty vengeful when he wants to. Philip feels a bit sad for you tho.

Anna/The Huntress 

Anna, in all honesty, didn’t understand why you were always sacrificing yourself. Did you enjoy dying? Are you ok? Sometimes when she catches you (because you probably let yourself be caught so the others can survive instead), you’ll hear her mumbling something in her broken english. When it begins to happen more than 4 times, Anna will just ignore you. She won’t abuse on it since she believes it’s not fair. She hates your teammates for being so selfish.
