A decade of poor luck and the revolt of the peasants has meant the 1380s might be our most brutal decade yet. In 1381, we lost the Wright and Smith household, as they were executed due to the Peasants Revolt. However, the main Brooker household has also seen a decade of prosperity, as they move into their new Merchant home in the Market Square and, eventually, find success in silk trading.

Free from the Shadow: Samurai Fantasy (Session Zero) Lowell Francis runs for Elle, Mike Minutillo, and Sherri We work through World and Clan creation in the session zero for this adaptation of Free from the Yoke for samurai fantasy play. We learn of the history of the conspiracy and fallen Kami who nearly destroyed the Empire and about our three PC Clans who hope to bring order to the land.

Fate of the Quadrant (Session 3) Alun R. runs for Lowell Francis, Paul Rivers, and Will H Acting First Officer's Personal Log - Stardate 48157.9 - Lieutenant V'Sal Reporting: Captain Prel hasn't explained why we have been diverted from Starbase 310 to Deep Space 9 but we should be dropping out of warp there any time now. What I will say is that the announcement of the change is the first time I've ever seen him show even a glimmer of genuine interest in our mission. Meanwhile, the presence of Princess T'ren & Ambassador Dijenn remains...trying. Mixing Federation and family affairs is rarely straightforward but I had hoped that this would be a logical opportunity for a reconciliation. Still, as I have come to understand in my time in Starfleet, logic has its limits and so, it appears, do my parents. Then...shore leave on DS9, a prototype installed and through the wormhole, before an unfamiliar foe must be confronted and tunnels beneath the ruins of New Bajor explored...

Eotenweard: Northumbria (Session 1) Alun R. runs for José Feito, Paul Rivers, Sabine V., and Will H We meet Black Jell, the Loon, with a single wandering eye who was brought to the others by a vision of blood; Solinus, the Rogue, who sees his Gift as evidence that he may matter to God; Cadog of the Order of St Adrian, the Sword of God who was told those he met at a cross-roads were worthy; and Fynn, a Skinchanger who recognized the others having previously dreamed of them. Together they have been drawn to the once thriving settlement of Thrydingas beside a river now clogged by rotting fish, something Cadog's Order says is 'demon-sign'. The villagers mark their huts with protective wards but they clearly desire the opportunity to return to fishing, while their naive Lord prefers to listen to stories... There's more rotting fish, projectile vomiting, and a slave girl's fear...and then...a lurking threat in a sinister fen...

Kazuchika Okada: I Want To Focus On Tag Team Wrestling

NJPW star Kazuchika Okada has his sights set on gold in the tag team division. At NJPW Capital Collision, Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi will challenge the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship in a match that also includes Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher). Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Okada stated…

Multiverse United preview

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Mike Bailey - Originally Bailey was set to face Will Ospreay in a dream match of high-speed flippy-kicky dudes, but Ospreay suffered a shoulder injury during the New Japan Cup tournament. Tanahashi is arguably a poor substitute for Ospreay's style, but he more than makes up for that in terms of star power. This will be Tana's first match in an Impact ring in nearly fifteen years.

There wasn't much chance of Bailey beating Ospreay on a New Japan vs. Impact show, and there's even less chance of him beating an 8-time IWGP heavyweight champion. This match isn't about seeing an upset so much as giving an indy sensation like Bailey a step up to world-class competition. Don't expect Tanahashi to lose, but count on him to make you believe he could lose, because he's very good at that.

KENTA vs. Minoru Suzuki - This is Kenta's first defense of the STRONG title, which he won in February. On March 18 Kenta clocked Suzuki with the belt during a trios match, resulting in a disqualification. That seems to be the entire rationale for giving Suzuki this title shot. Seems a little flimsy for New Japan, but a couple of months back they did it the other way around where the challenger earned a title shot by hitting the champion with his belt, so at least this is an improvement over that.

Suzuki was a sadistic sonuvabitch heel for years and years, but ever since he disbanded Suzuki-gun back in December he's been booked like a babyface. I'm still not used to it, but he's cool so I can root for him. I find Kenta's heel work tedious, which should make it even easier to root for Suzuki to fight smarter than the usual idiot good guy that gets suckered in with cheap shots. That said, I think Kenta will be holding this belt for a long time, so I'm not expecting a title change.

Masha Slamovich vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Miyu Yamashita - This four-way match was originally scheduled with the Impact women's world title at stake, but Mickie James was sidelined with a broken rib and forced to vacate the title. Slamovich is stepping in to replace James; her GCW championship is not on the line. The first woman to score a fall on any opponent wins the match. The winner will qualify for a match against Jordynne Grace (and James, if she's medically cleared) on April 16 to crown a new Impact women's champion.

The x-factor here is Yamashita from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. I'm not sure if she's starting a excursion in Impact or if she's just in town for Mania weekend. If they can book her for April 16 it'd be a cool chance of pace to put her in the title picture. But if she's heading right back to Japan then they probably can't do much but let her show off some big moves here.

The smart money comes down to Slamovich or Purrazzo; either would make sense going up against Grace and/or James. But I can't really decide which one will win. I'd say flip a coin.

KUSHIDA vs. Lio Rush - Lio is a last-minute replacement for Josh Alexander, who was set to defend the Impact men's world title here. Since Alexander is injured, Kushida will now face Steve Maclin on April 16 for the vacant title. So in theory Rush has a big opportunity if he can beat a guy who might become a world champion in two weeks. But it's far more likely Kushida will cruise to victory to help build up the title bout.

Ace Austin & Chris Bey vs. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin vs. Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher vs. Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito - Austin and Bey are defending the Impact men's tag team title. It's a four-way, so the first man to score a fall on any opponent will win the match and the title for his team. The STRONG tag team championship, held by Shelley and Sabin, is not at stake. Davis and Fletcher are also booked to challenge for the IWGP tag belts on April 8, so they're in a position to possibly become double champs.

The Haste/Tito team is a little odd since Haste usually teams with Mikey Nicholls. Tito is sort of the designated jobber for the TMDK stable, though, so maybe he's here to take the fall in this match. As for the winners, I'm going with Austin and Bey to retain.

Jeff Cobb vs. Moose - This got my attention as soon as it was announced. It should be a good MEAN GUY MATCH~! Moose hasn't been pushed much since losing the Impact men's world title last year, but then again Cobb's pushes never seem to add up to anything in New Japan. So there's no sense either guy must win, which makes the match hard to predict. I'll go with Cobb, but it's really anybody's ball game.

Trey Miguel vs. Rich Swann vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Rocky Romero vs. Clark Connors vs. Kevin Knight - Miguel's X title is on the line in a six-way match. I got tired of writing about X division multi-man matches a long time ago, so I won't waste time on this one. Action should be great, the outcome doesn't matter. Miguel's a heel so he'll probably retain.

Fred Rosser & PCO & Sami Callihan & Alex Coughlin vs. Tom Lawlor & Eddie Edwards & Joe Hendry & JR Kratos - Looks like they threw this together to get more guys on the show. The whole thing feels pretty random, except that PCO and Edwards have been feuding and Rosser and Lawlor had a feud in 2021. Why is Callihan on the babyface side? Why is Hendry on the heel side? It don't matter. None of this really matters.

Yuya Uemura vs. Gabriel Kidd - This is scheduled for the pre-show. Both guys are Young Lions on excursion; Uemura has been with Impact since August, and Kidd's been in RevPro since December. I assume they'll get to do more here than when they were opening shows in 2020. But even so, it doesn't make much difference who wins.
