highly requested gayitlin masterpost its gonna be Very Long so
i wanna just skip over to junior year cause thats when i feel like the evidence is most damning lol
flirting or being extremely comfortable with female journalists esp during march madness?? (more on this later when she joins the league too)
some with autumn johnson (x1 x2 (same one but with ss) )
the infamous one with arielle chambers (x1 & x2 )
whatever this was with monika
her instagram activity
this could have a whole post dedicated to itself cause jfgbdfgd
okay okay first off we all know she follows out/gay people like the bellairs, olivia ponton, kristie mewis, pinoe, kehlani, tobin heath, etc. she doesn't follow her now but she did follow mikaelatesta who, like ponton, is very ig baddie type if that makes sense. and lets just be real alot of her posts are very suggestive bfgbd
also her likes on just posts with gay couples in general?? there's these three on candace's ig, arike's engagement post, kmewis & sam (this and this and this and this too lmaoo), and coach rania's post with her wife even going as far as commenting couple goals (did it AGAIN on her anniversary post) pics of the bellairs AND sue/megan stuff (third one, fourth, fifth, sixth basically a shit ton of content of them tgt you get the gist)
pride posts like preath's pride merch drop and both of olivia ponton's pride posts (honestly doesnt take much scrolling to she that she likes her posts on the regular) , kehlani pride post
and kinda random but her liking this sydney sweeney post & these posts from kayla nicole lolol
not much in her senior yr but i WILL say that this is when she got more comfortable with kate and you can find all of that in the katelin or work wives tag i think
also the whole lore with tatianna & bridget (bridget posts she's liked/commented: one two three and its more 2023 off season to mid senior season) and caitlin has liked practically every tati post from aug 2023 to lmao but a few shes commented on (one two three )
and then theres THIS which idk what the hell is supposed to mean ??
ok so onto her rookie season: very similar to post/end of junior year for the first half of the season at least
more flirting with/eyeing interviewers
caitlyssa thing is self-explanatory and you can find most of that in the caitlyssa tag
flirting with her fav interviewer ari chambers
checking out a'ja at wnba all-star
following chelsea cutler on ig who is a pretty lesser known but openly queer artist (also notable that another iowa alum kathleen doyle posted herself going to one of her shows and monika who is queer also follows)
ummm idk i guess thats all? theres also just the fact that theres a pattern of her being super close with the gays on her teams (monika/kate we all know abt that, nalyssa for like the first 2/3rd of the season, erica earlier on) and ones who arent (liz kitley now and georgia before they fell out)
#i tried avoiding the rumors and stuck to the things we actually have evidence for but#i think thats it??? lmk if i missed something

I'm really excited that Desperado and Wato will be teaming up for this year's Super Junior Tag League, for a few reasons!
First of all, I love the reversal of Desperado's usual dynamic. Desperado is a wrestler who is almost always pursuing others. Ever since he first appeared as Desperado, he's fallen into that pattern almost exclusively. Even when he was the IWGP Jr champion, he didn't sit back and let challengers come to him - he chased after people who he wanted to fight even while holding the belt. It's really interesting to see a reversal of that dynamic, with Wato pursing Desperado instead.
Also, I think Desperado is exactly the tag partner Wato needs right now to help him grow as a wrestler. Desperado often credits his years teaming with Kanemaru for much of his own skill and growth as a wrestler. I think that Desperado can do much the same for Wato, and I really think Wato will become a better wrestler by teaming with him.
I also think there's some potential for real growth and change in Desperado's character here too. Desperado is a face now, at least theoretically. And even though he's mostly kept to his own small group in Strong Style, he's supposed to be a member of Hontai. I'm very interested to see how he'll behave teaming up with Wato, an absolute babyface.
In any case, I hope they come up with some kind of cat-related tag team name.
#el desperado#njpw#wato#master wato#two of the three biggest cat fans in njpw are finally teaming up together

tagged by @aleng-neng. What are my fave top 9 shows in no particular order. (All of these I have at 10/10.) I'll only pick recent shows, as they're the ones I have listed on MyDramaList and thus have a ranking for. XD This means it's mostly bls and cdramas. 1. Moonlight Chicken.
One of my feelgood shows, even though it's still new. It feels comfortable and adult and grounded, with a bunch of amazing actors who are clearly comfortable with each other. As an 'older queer' it resonates with me a lot and I didn't dislike a single thing about it.
2. The Blood of Youth.
A really fun show with gorgeous, engaging characters and the right mix of beautiful scenery, beautiful people, and creative storytelling that I like. Sprinkle in some excellent fight scenes and a bunch of my favourite actors and I'm sold!
3. Old Fashion Cupcake.
I talked about mature stories earlier and this is another one of those. I could see myself in the main lead just a bit too much for me not to love this. Nozue recognizes that he's maybe stuck in a rut and complacent when he doesn't have to be. And, maybe, that handsome junior at the firm could help him get out of it (and make him recognize he's not straight).
4. KinnPorsche.
Look, I know it has its issues. I know. And I know people have an issue with some of the fandom. I get it and for the most part I agree. However, this was the first BL in a long time that I had the urge to write fic for. I enjoyed the complexity of the universe and the characters that much. (Even if some of it didn't make sense. but that's half the fun!) And that's why I like it. It got my brain involved. (And I just adore Tankhun, okay.)
5. Word of Honor.
Years ago I watched a few cdramas and then...somehow forgot about them? (I don't know how I did that.) However, back in 2019 I got back into them and eventually stumbled upon The Untamed. 'This is the pinnacle of cdrama for me and my tastes!' I thought. But then Word of Honor showed up. Look, everything about this show is stunning. The story, the characters, the setting, the clear and unadulterated love between the two main characters. Everything and everyone is beautiful and I've never gone through a cdrama as fast as I did this one. It's beautiful in ever sense of the word. And so, so queer. Don't believe me? Just search 'word of honor cdrama' in the gif section on tumblr and marvel at the art.
6. A Tale of Thousand Stars.
This is not the first Thai BL I watched, but it almost feels like it? Because ATOTS is the first one I remember going crazy about (and it set me on the road to basically loving everything EarthMix are in together). I was super invested and wanted to draw art and everything. It's just such a nice, soft, romantic story and the characters are so fun. This is probably the one I've rewatched the most.
7. Semantic Error.
As you can tell, I generally like stories that feel far away from home. I like magic and fantasy and settings that aren't typical. However, this is one of the few exceptions. I think it's the characters and their journey and the perfect execution of tropes that would have felt stale in any other show. It's a fun story with excellent characters and I get why it's so popular.
8. Mysterious Lotus Casebook.
Technically, I can't say this show is 10/10 yet because it still has a bunch of episodes to go. However, I can tell it's going to get close at least. (And will probably get to 10.) I keep comparing it to a perfect blend of The Blood of Youth and A League of Nobleman, in that it's a fantasy world with a master swordsman who's dying (and begrudgingly adopts a cute puppy who loves him) and a bunch of cases that need solving (to unravel the overarching plot). It's so much fun and the settings + characters are so beautiful. (And I may or may not heavily ship the loyal, eager puppy with the stoic, lying dying man who tries to push him away (and literally abandon him) in an attempt to keep him safe (from harm and heartache).) The hurt/comfort and love against all odds is strong in this one! He gave up his lifelong dream to protect a man who's been lying to him ever since they met and whom is at that point a wanted fugitive!! Because he trusts and loves him so. Also, it has a bunch of very handsome and gorgeous actors/characters in it, whom I love (and who suffer beautifully).
9. ??? I only have 8 shows that I've given 10/10 to (or a prospective 10/10, lol), so I'll just leave you with some other recommended shows that came close! Bad Buddy
Between Us
Choco Milk Shake
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms
My Only 12%
Ancient Love Poetry
That's it! I invested way too much effort into this, but...it was fun? Sorry for clogging up your timelines with this, though!

Power Struggle preview
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Shingo Takagi - Sabre is defending the IWGP world heavyweight title. Shingo is the NEVER champion, but his title is not at stake. This is presumably the final world title bout of the year, so whoever leaves with the belt tonight will likely go on to defend it in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4.
Right after Sabre won the title on October 14, Takagi, SANADA, and Shota Umino all challenged him for the gold. Sanada got the first title shot on October 20. New Japan also booked this match and Sanada vs. Umino for this show, with the idea that we wouldn't know which would be a title bout and which would be a consolation match until after the 20th.
In singles matches, the champion is 3-2 against the challenger. Takagi's most recent win over Sabre was in their block match in this year's G1 Climax, but Zack got his win back in the block final. Shingo's argument is that we need a rubber match, and I'm not complaining. But I find it interesting that Sabre's only unavenged loss in the G1 was against Shota Umino, and they've gone out of their way to avoid running it back.
I like Shingo and I think he didn't get enough out of his world title run. But let's face it, this match is a formality. Sabre is clearly headed to the Tokyo Dome, and it's just a question of who will be waiting for him when he gets there. I'm hoping that question is answered tonight. If it's a big surprise from out of left field, that'll be super cool and fun. If Umino steps up to challenge Zack, well...uh...
David Finlay vs. Taichi - Finlay's IWGP global title is at stake.
Coming out of the G1, Finlay was challenged by YOSHI-HASHI (age 42), and I figured that was okay as a placeholder until a more substantial contender emerged. Then they immediately went to Finlay vs. Hirooki Goto (45) and made the whole story about how he's an aging never-was. As soon as the match ended I was like "okay, let's get someone under 40 out here, please." So naturally Finlay calls out Yuya Uemura (29, sidelined with a torn triceps) to troll us, and then here comes Taichi (44) to remind me that New Japan has an endless supply of middle-aged men who don't stand a chance against Finlay. I mean, who's next, Tomoaki Honma?
I don't mean to be hard on Taichi. OK, I was pretty hard on Taichi for a long time, but I warmed up to him over the past few years. In 2022 I might have said he's a step up from fighting Yoshi and Goto. In 2024, though, he's hardly been around, except to fail to qualify for the G1. He's ice cold, and the idea that he's making a big challenge to prove he can hang with the top guys would work better if they hadn't just done the exact same thing with Yoshi and Goto. That might work if he could win the title, but that's just not gonna happen. Finlay retains, and I suppose he'll pick a fight with Tiger Mask.
DOUKI vs. Master Wato - Wato returned from a knee injury on October 14 and challenged Douki for the IWGP junior heavyweight title. When Wato returned from excursion in 2020, Douki was positioned as a major rival for him, mainly because at the time Douki was a total jobber and Wato struggled to get a win over anyone else. Now Douki is on top of the division, and Wato has a 3-1 singles record over the champion.
In the US a guy returning from injury almost always wins his first big singles match, but in New Japan they often do a loss, to make ring rust feel like a serious factor. I don't expect a title change, but I'll be happy if Wato doesn't look like an undercard geek.
Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita vs. TJP & Francesco Akira - This is the final match of the Super Jr. Tag League tournament. The team that wins the tournament typically issues a challenge to the IWGP junior tag team champions for Wrestle Kingdom.
Eagles and Fujita, the Ichiban Sweet Boys, won A Block with four wins and one loss. Catch 2/2 (TJP & Akira) finished 3-3 in B Block, breaking a three-way tie for first place with wins over Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X and the junior tag champions, Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA.
I could see either team going to the Tokyo Dome, so this is tough to pick. But I guess I'll give the nod to Eagles and Fujita, since they haven't spent near as much time in the junior tag title picture, and I'd like to see a fresh team chase the gold.
Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls vs. Great-O-Khan & HENARE - Haste & Nicholls are defending the IWGP heavyweight tag team title. The STRONG tag title is not at stake, since Haste and Nicholls are defending that on November 8. Henare is coming off of losing the NEVER singles title. The big story with O-Khan is that he'll be defending the KOPW belt in an intergender match against Suzu Suzuki on November 17.
Whoever wins this match will probably hold the IWGP tag belts going into the World Tag League tournament (Nov. 19-Dec. 8), which will decide the next challengers. My preference would be for Haste and Nicholls to hold the gold all the way to January 4, at least. But Khan and Henare aren't really going anywhere as singles, so giving them a run as a strong tag team wouldn't be a bad thing. Of course, I don't expect it to happen, so I pick the champs to retain.
SANADA vs. Shota Umino - If Sanada had won the world title on October 20, this match would have been his first defense. As it is, though, it's a consolation match between the two guys on the short end of last month's four-way situation. Of those four, Umino has singles wins over both Zack Sabre and Shingo Takagi, but he's 0-2 against Sanada, so you can argue he needs this win before he can challenge the winner of tonight's main event.
The big story of this match will be Umino's relationship with the crowd. He's always been booked as a white-meat babyface, and I hadn't noticed any problems with that until 10/14, when he asked for a title shot and Ryogoku mercilessly booed him. Things weren't much better on 10/20, although beating Callum Newman in London was naturally going to draw a heel reaction. But now Shota is heading into Osaka, a notorious heel town, and there's already momentum for rejecting a big push for him. This could be a tough night for the kid.
Honestly, if the domestic audience turns on Umino, a heel turn wouldn't be the worst thing for his character development, and New Japan should probably embrace the opportunity. The problem is that New Japan likes to plan things out far in advance, so if they've committed to "Shota Umino headlines the Tokyo Dome and is the top babyface throughout 2025," then it won't be easy for the crowd to change their minds. One way or another, I expect Shota to pick up the win here, and to call out the champion at the end of the show.
Hiroshi Tanahashi & Oleg Boltin vs. EVIL & Ren Narita - Tana was originally supposed to team with El Phantasmo, but he's been pulled out due to cancer treatment. That sounds pretty scary, but ELP seems pretty upbeat about it, so I'm hoping he knows some good news that I don't. Tana vs. Evil has already been signed for January 4, so this is a preview of that. I assumed this match would also set up Phantasmo to challenge Narita for the television title, but I guess that's off the table. Maybe Boltin can get a title shot instead? Maybe someone else will? Who knows. I'm kinda thinking Evil and Narita will win to get heel heat.
Tetsuya Naito & Yota Tsuji & Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI vs. Toru Yano & Tomoaki Honma & Ryusuke Taguchi & Dragon Dia - This is just a filler match, mostly to get Naito's team on the card. Hiromu, Bushi, Taguchi, and Dia were all participants in Super Jr. Tag League. Yano and Honma are little more than enhancement talent these days. Naito was world champion up until three weeks ago, and Tsuji will probably be in that spot before too long. So this is kind of the "atom bomb vs. coughing baby" of New Japan filler tag matches. Honma will probably lose the fall.
Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney & Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X vs. KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight & Paris de Silva & Jude London & Katsuya Murashima - More aftermath from Super Jr. Tag League, where Connors-Moloney, Ishimori-X, Kushida-Knigh, and de Silva-London saw action. The odd men out are Kidd, who is a heavyweight and the STRONG men's champion, and Mursahima, who is a Young Lion. So yeah, Murashima is definitely doing the job in this match.
YOH & Ninja Mack & The DKC vs. Tiger Mask & Capitan Suicida & Shoma Kato - This is a pre-show match and I never seem to find out of it will actually air on the live stream until it's already over. Tiger & Suicida were a team in Super Jr. Tag League, as was Mack & DKC. Yoh teamed with Rocky Romero, who I suppose is headed back to AEW. Kato is a Young Lion which means he's here to lose the match.

sorry if this is weird but wanted to jump in and give my thoughts on your tags on that arty ask!!! junior markets and ahl markets are veryyy different vibes imo like. a lot of junior markets — esp the ones you named — are embedded within their communities and have extremely active booster clubs along with billet families that are really all-in! and in some cases, junior teams are located in towns where they are one of the main family-friendly, budget-friendly activities available when it comes to entertainment. i think it makes for an atmosphere that’s conducive to social media engagement + there’s also the intrigue of top prospects that’s lacking a little in the a and definitely in the coast, so passionate nhl fans will also interact more! i feel like with the two pro feeder leagues it often feels a bit more impersonal; they tend to be in bigger cities and are less established as a key part of the community. like your neighbors are not housing these players you know? from a media career standpoint, it’s great to work in the a but the chl is a very viable option as well and generally a better landing place than any other league besides the a and the national!!
cracking my knuckles, and getting my fingers ready to write the answer of all time. THIS IS WHAT I WROTE THAT PROMPTED THIS ASK
YES!!!!!! 1000% they have different vibes, im from Ottawa and while i didnt grow up in a hockey family (neither playing, nor fans) i have been to many many 67s games (our OHL team, they used to [maybe still do?] give out tickets to them through schools in ottawa), and i have been to exactly no B-Sens games (the nearest AHL team, because... fuck you bellville you know what you did [be boring lmao])
specifically what i was referring to was like, the types of interactions i saw (i only looked on instagram, and only checked a handful of AHL and CHL teams), because while the few that I looked at had similar follower counts/likes, the CHL teams had more comments, and discussions in the comments, and the types of social media posts were also very different.
the CHL teams had more interactions with players, they are doing tiktok trends, lots of candid videos taken by players joking around (the pats instagram page is like 40% just players pointing their phones at each other on the bus) etc etc, it has a more relaxed feel, the players are joking around, they seemed more human. whereas AHL teams just post end of game graphics, occasional highlights, and those videos where the players are walking by going to practice and are asked a random question (the laziest, and my most hated type of team social media post [especially the ones where they ask them whos your favorite female athlete and ALL of them say serena williams like....???? do you not realize that your players inabilities to name more than one woman makes them look stupid]) and in all of the AHL posts them seemed.... not human like the CHL teams did.
theory: the AHL players are trying to act super buttoned up/mature in hopes they get called up quickly, and the CHL players are just happy they aren't currently in algebra class.
and i 100% agree that the community surrounding the teams is going to be stronger with CHL teams then AHL teams, due to the while *gestures broadly* but i feel like one of the easiest ways to bridge that gap would be though social media, like dear everyone who works on the social media presence of AHL teams.... show me the boys!!! show me the silly lil guys i wanna know about the silly lil guys on the AHL teams!!! show me them!!! social media is an amazing tool to engage with fans and build a bigger community, and i feel like CHL teams are excelling in it, and AHL teams are being stupid for not using it as such.
anyways, I am very interested in social media from like... a "ive been chronically online since 2014 and have seen the rise and fall of countless careers" sorta way....??? like i don't want to ever work in a way where i need to rely on social media, or have posting on it be apart of my job description (you can catch me in a dusty back room with my objects™️ doing my paperwork™️)..... but because i am forever a hater i need to put my six cents on literally everything.
lmao

I'm not saying that Sense can't fetch slippers, I'm saying that a super powerful Pokémon with the condition he's got is NOT a good Pokémon for allowing near small children who may be trying to touch him or move suddenly, or that he'd be able to do all the thing this old lady's yamper would do.
And I said contests as an example of things that this hypothetical old lady would have her Pokémon do. You've made the argument that just having a Pokémon you send into one battle doesn't make them an ace trainer, so letting your 7 year old granddaughter borrow your yamper to do her local "junior pokecontest" doesn't make you a contest coordinator.
However training a yamper to handle its power (electricity) in such a way that it doesn't accidentally start electrical fires after zoomies/zap the grandkids when they play tag is still training a Pokémon, and training them to use their abilities properly. Training it to use Dig to help out with gardening, or Helping Hand to . . . well lend a helping hand is training. It's not intensive like being an ace trainer, and no one is saying that, but it is still training a Pokémon.
An old man who takes in an elderly rescue skitty and teaches it to trust humans again and not attack is still a trainer, even if he's not battling it. He may even be putting in more effort into training than an ace trainer with a tortera they've had since they were a turtwig, because he's having to form a bond with a Pokémon that has never trusted him, or anyone else.
Your bond with your Pokémon isn't the only kind of bond that matters, or the only way of being a trainer, and just because someone doesn't follow all the principals of an Ace trainer doesn't mean they're not a trainer.
There's a reason you gotta specific ACE trainer instead of just saying trainer, it's because you don't have to be an ace to be a trainer, you just gotta be teaching Pokémon behaviours by forming a bond with them.
Look, you can do what you want, but the "might is right" views and speaking points make people worry about how far you'd go, especially when you seem to not care about the possible consequences of your actions/how people or their Pokémon may get hurt.
Yes things are a certain way on Victory Road, but as you've made clear you're in the top percentage of trainers, and for every Ace there's probably ten bug-catching trainers just starting out. Two kids battling with their caterpie shouldn't be thinking "this is a fight to the death and I must win at all costs" and talking like the only right way to battle is to have their Pokémon try and take chunks out of one another is not going to help them.
Okay... i think i get you now.
At least to me. a Trainer is a Person who has decided to dedicate their Full Time to Training and Battling.
The people you describe aren't Trainers. they are Hobbyists. i do not care about those People. They can do whatever the fuck they want. i do not care.
I hate this conflation between hobbyists and Trainers, this gets people hurt. Someone with little experience should'nt be trusted with Killer machines like my Teams. That has always been my Position.
"Might is right" is the basis of the League. Who is the Champ? the weakest trainer??? NO!. the most mediocre Trainer??? NO!
The Champ is the strongest Trainer, and that has always been what being a Trainer is about.
I just want little Timmy the 10 Year old Kiddo who just got their Trainer-Pass to go into their Journey prepared!
I want them to understand who they are dealing with. i want them to know that Running Boots aren't made for this. i want them to know that they will get hurt. i want them to know that becoming a Trainer is the worst Decision you could ever make in your Life because unlike me 50% of Trainers quit before their Fifth Badge.
What makes me Ace is my Hard work and Dedication. My Full time Commitment. My Desire to do more. to get stronger than anyone before me. This is what makes me different. i am not a Hobbyist.
And don't twist my Words. there is nothing wrong with Hobbyists. i am just not one of them.
