Look who recently started playing the Sims 2 again! :) Today I bring you a 4t2 conversion of one of Obscurus's eye sets. I love using these in my S4 game so couldn't help myself to have them in TS2 too.

hair colour. dark brown eye colour. blue skin tone. fair, daryl tans instead of burns body type. broad-shouldered, broad back and chest, straight and narrow down the torso and legs. more practical muscle than for aesthetic. daryl is solid as a rock and has the core strength of a golem dominant hand. left, but he was trained to use his right hand as a child. technically ambidextrous, but defaults to the left hand more for everyday things that don't involve writing or hunting posture. decent. subconsciously tries to make himself smaller whenever he sits down anywhere scars. a smattering on his back, chest, legs, arms-- ranging from cigarette burns to whipping scars from a belt. there's a light scar on his temple where a rifle bullet grazed him. by the time he's in france, he has a visible scar that runs from his left brow to his cheek and a new scar from a cut on his chest tattoos. snake (left leg), heart (right wrist), star (right hand), cross (above left clavicle), two devils (right back, shoulder blade), one more devli (right bicep), skull (right hand) birthmarks. none too special, though he's got a mole over the left side of his upper lip most noticeable features. it's got to be the hair, if not the surly expression on his face (and the glare that comes with it). his thick arms might also be one, considering he's sleeveless often

sexual orientation. functionally on the ace spectrum, but doesn't personally identify with any terms preferred sexual role. top libido. low to non-existent, subjective to whether he has someone to sleep with regularly. in that case, it's pretty high as an extension of physical affection and devotion turn-ons. biting, possessiveness, when someone offers themselves to him wholly. a nice ass turn-offs. disrespect love language. acts of service, quality time, and physical touch (in that order); he also deliberately adjusts to partners, though, and tries to provide for them no matter what relationship tendencies. not much, considering daryl has very little experience (if at all). he's loyal and would prioritise someone he deemed his (and who in turn he belonged to) above all else. if you asked him then whether he'd let a loved one die to save the world, he'd rather the earth get razed and hold his lover in the ashes after

How to sort non-default eyes CC by style in CAS 2.0

This is an adapted version of @syaovu's how to sort non-default eyes cc by style not by colors. The post linked to a faster grouping method by applying changes to the entire package instead of individual swatches which I followed and didn't quite work as expected with nondefault eyes.. But based on the previous knowledge from the two methods, I've updated the tutorial on how to sort/group your non-default eyes custom contents with just a few mouse clicks!

Required: CmarNYC's S4 CAS Tool

Step 1: Open S4CASTool_version.zip, run S4CASTools.exe, enter your creator name (any character will do), and check for the right directory to your The Sims 4 folder, hit Save.

Step 2: In TS4 Cas Tools program, click on Clone Package Editor tab, and click Select to choose the package you want to change.

Step 3: In Clone Package Editor, click on Recolor Manager tab and you'll see the sorting order of every swatch in the current package.

Step 4: Under Recolor Manager tab, click on Renumber Sort Order and a window to change the sort value will pop up.

Keep the "Renumber using start value and increment" option.

Here I use the same tactic recommended in the original tutorial, go for big numbers! Swatches with bigger sort values will appear at the bottom of the eyes color panel in CAS. You can use this method to organize your eyes cc how you see fit!

Set your start value to 1000. For increment input, I keep it 5.

Apply changes by clicking on Renumber.

Step 5: Finally, hit Commit Changes, and Save Package. 

Step 6: Repeat steps 2-5 for every non-default eyes you want to sort with different start values such as 2000, 3000.. etc to avoid mix-up.

Step 7: When you're done, place the packages into your mod folders, open your game, and there you have it! Neatly organized non-defaults eyes in CAS the lazy easy way. 😋

Infinite Load Screen - Potential S4S causation

So I haven’t added any new CC to my game since before experiencing the infinite loading screen and after experiencing it. However, I have been opening up S4S to make additional new eye color swatches for some non-default eyes. I can go into CAS perfectly fine, but when it comes to loading a lot, I get the infinite loading

Thank you for leaving up the S4S portion of the eye-renumbering tutorial; I tried using the S4 Cas Tools but alas, it is for Windows and I'm on a Mac. I thought - that's no obstacle, I have CrossOver. Nope - S4 Cas Tools uses Windows pathway names to reach files, so no joy. So all your hard work making that S4S tutorial part is still useful and I appreciate it.

Hey, so defaults aren’t enabled for infants yet so they aren’t showing up, eyes in particular so you need to remove them for now and just use overlays and non default eyes, until S4S has sn update and creators can update their defsults. The update hasn’t been too bad and s log of mods are updated already! I’ll bd updating today :) hope this helps

Ohmes-Raht - Feline Skins and Eyes

This started out as me just wanting to create one of my Skyrim characters as a Sim, and very quickly spiraled into a whole project because I discovered that creating skins is actually a lot of fun, and I haven't found a lot of animal skins for Sims 4. While I refer to them as khajiit because of the original reason for making them, I've tried to design them in such a way that they can fill pretty much whatever cat-people needs you might have and stick more or less to an art style that blends in with the vanilla game. I've created them to work with all ages and genders as well as most occult types. Eyes The eyes are based off of domesticated cats and come in most possible natural colors, as well as four bonus colors for when you just need something so bright that your sim can't legally make eye contact with Anish Kapoor. They can be found in CAS under face paints. Skins Most of the skins are based more on the bengal breed with vague overtones of khajiit, plus a couple extra colors based on other breeds. The markings are overlays that spread and darken with age, and they develop some grey fur around the face as elders, and the male version of the lion has dark mane-like chest fur that spreads with age. The only exceptions are the torties, which were too complex for me to do as overlays while also maintaining my sanity and so look the same at every age (and thus, contrary to real cats, work on both males and females). All the skins should be grouped together beside all the default skintones. Future Plans I may add more eye/coat colors later on; if there's one you really want, feel free to drop me a message. I can't guarantee that any given color will be added, but if I notice certain things getting asked for a lot they'll definitely be taken into consideration. I also can't guarantee when any new colors will be added, since I'm doing this entirely for fun in my downtime. I'm also looking into adding tail accessories that match the coats I've made in color and style, but that may take a while as it involves learning how to add custom meshes to the game.
