Season 1 : Livia and Matt were friends since college, though they both have a secret from one another. When the sunsets and the Devil roams Hell’s Kitchen, there’s one person who seems to get in the way, Exodus.

Season 2 : With the Fisk situation behind her, Exodus tries to move forward without Daredevil. But as fate would have it, that shift changes Y/N’s relationship with Matt. The two start to wonder if maybe those lives are more interconnected than they first believed.

Season 2b (Defenders) : Time heals all wounds, until they’re reopened. Livia and Matt try to leave Exodus and the Devil behind, but when an old face returns with a new vendetta, those personas are revived. Guilt, revenge, blood, death. All prices that the Kitchen’s vigilante duo has to pay, and fate is a cruel mistress who comes to collect.

Season 3 : Round and round she goes. Just when she feels her life is on track and her emotions can occur without her own interference, her old enemy of Wilson Fisk begins to play games. Forced to choose between new friends and old, play the part or stand alone, life or death, things become as dangerous as they’ve ever been.

Season 1: With daredevil dead, exodus returns from Quantico unsure of who she should be. fighting nightmares and deja vu, small sparks threaten to revive something saved for matt murdock before a shocking betrayal rattles New York’s two most dangerous vigilantes.

Season 2 : Livia finds herself caught amidst another two sided war. With the reemergence of Billy Russo and a new brutal threat, she takes up her vigilante mantel yet again.

Billy setting up the trap for Frank to accidentally kill those women in S2E10 breaks my damn heart

i always see people talking about the scene in Daredevil where Frank kills that pawnbroker for offering him cp, and that Frank was thinking about his daughter Lisa, because of him saying “she’s barely 12”, the same age Lisa was when she died, and that is very much true and definitely part of it, but also think about the fact that Frank’s best friend of many many years, a person he was so close to, “the life or death kind of friend”, was a victim of csa at around the same age, and trusted Frank enough to tell him that. Think about how even before Frank became ‘the punisher’ and started killing regularly, he straight up offered to murder the person who’d done that to his friend.

So, of course, Frank was thinking about his daughter, and how much he hated the image of a girl her age experiencing that, he was probably also thinking about his best friend who did experience it.

More Than Our Scars - Part 6

Appointments with Dr. Krista Dumont was scheduled by Anvil’s insurance company. You can’t have an active agent that’s mentally unstable, let alone the CEO. At first, meetings with Dr. Dumont were helpful. She taught Bill how to deal with his anxiety. How to deal with his scars.  The old Bill was a vain man. Suits fit perfectly. He kept his body in top shape, hair styled just so, neatly trimmed beard. He was extremely handsome. A failed mission, amnesia, injuries, irreparable facial scarring does a lot to a man’s self-esteem & self worth. Lately, she has been asking more about details of the mission itself & what he can remember. Bill has a gut feeling that these weren’t normal evaluation questions.

Biggest let down of the month:

Seeing Billy Russo with the mask off in s2 of the Punisher. Just love the taste of nothing.

Hey nonny, you're actually my very first Ask I've ever gotten! :)

Uuh, the villains. Love them. I don't know why they always choose the hottest actors to play the bad guys 😅

Just be warned, some might end in character death...

Who came right to my mind is Billy Russo, played by Ben Barnes. He has a hard time throughout the series, getting in fights, especially with the anti hero Frank Castle, ending up beaten, bloody (1x13), and even shot (2x13).

Well, again with the wonderful Ben Barnes, he plays General Kirigan in Shadow and Bone. Very very (very) slight whump, but some small scenes throughout season 1 and 2. And I love some emotional whump, and this man is pretty sad if you tend to emphasise with the bad guys.

Well, this one is probably one of my favourite Whumpees, BUT, he's not particularly a villain. John Murphy from The 100. He starts off as the typical bad guy douchebag, but has the greatest character arc in my opinion and gets through soo much hurt all the seasons! Beaten (a LOT), stabbed (end of season 1, and beginning of s2, 6x01, 6x08), shot (5x13).

You've probably heard of Loki before, but if not, he also starts off as the villain but tends to get more anti hero. He gets beaten by the Avengers/his brother etc, in the Thor series, Avengers 1 and has some slight whump in the Loki series (but here he's getting into the role of the anti-hero).

Another "bad guy who will end anyone who comes in their way or hurts their loved ones" type are Damon and Klaus from the Vampire Diaries. Damon was already more of the bad guy from the very start, but Klaus was more like the villain. Well, he ended up in the "misunderstood bad guy" path aswell.

I hope some of these aren't familiar to you and could help you find what you were looking for. Most of my favourites are more like the anti-hero part with a great redemption arc. So except for Billy Russo and kind of Kirigan and Klaus in the beginning they weren't exactly Villains.

excuse me while I think of how many parallels there are between frank castle and morrigan chateau

- used to being a means to an end / used as a weapon

ex. matt seeing him as a way to take down the hand etc in DD s2 ; “maybe this once we can do it your way”, mandani seeing him as a way to take care of billy russo, micro seeing him as a way to take down the men who came after him

ex. morrigan literally being taken by project angelus and turned into a weapon, the dogs of hell using her as their personal bodyguard, charles wanting to recruit her to his cause while also disapproving of her methods

- losing faith in the systems they have been taught to uphold and abide by and as a result taking up the mantle of judge, jury & executioner

- punch first ask questions later methods

- a fierce loyalty to their family and natural protector instincts

- deep down they are incredibly soft and gentle despite viewing themselves as anything but

and both have lost so much and because of the circumstances surrounding losing their loved ones they feel helpless

ex. frank blaming himself for not being able to protect them

ex. morrigan feeling lost and unable to rescue her siblings

Okay so this my opinion on Ben Barnes as Billy Russo and in general I think he acts so much better as a good/regular guy than a villain cause when he told Frank he'd find a way to help him, get him a new life etcetera I totally believed him (without considering the whole kinda sus proposal in the story ofc) that was great acting a great scene and all which I think left the bar too high for later mostly for s2, now there's Logan in westworld he was an asshole obviously but that was a solid performance, him as the Darkling in s1 not so much (haven't seen s2 yet) so yeah what I'm trying to say is I hope I can see more of him as a good guy
