Im of the full (possibly delusional) belief that Durge is not the species that they physically appear to be.

You’re telling me this being crafted from nothing but bhaal’s flesh and his blood - this demigod - is actually a dragonborn/tiefling/human/elf/etc.

No. This thing is bhaal’s flesh and it just happens to look like that. They’re an imitation of a species, they’re not truly a (full)mortal being, they have no heritage aside from bhaal.

As a result I’m sure there’s some…oddities.

For example, a demigod child, not fully mortal. I doubt they adhere to the lifespan of whatever species they look like. Looking younger than they should. (less so perhaps with long lived races like elfs and half-elves where that is par for the course).

A dragonborn durge that by all accounts looks like a blue dragonborn but their breathweapon is acid. A tiefling durge that seems to be a Mephistopheles tiefling but they cannot cast mage hand, instead smiting like a zariel bloodline tiefling.

An elf or tiefling durge that doesn’t read as fey or infernal trough identification spells. Because they aren’t either of those things. Perhaps they could read as divine but not quite.

Members of a race that durge is supposed to be looking at them and sometimes when making eye contact they read as wrong. And some kind of uncanny effect triggers in their brain.

Give me more freaky durge who isn’t really what they appear to be at all. Just a little murder demigod crafted from dead god flesh to be the shape of something else.

takes you out to wherever you want to go to, you have to just mention it even if it's in the passing and jay will take you there as soon as he can. from little dates in a new bakery to destination vacays nothing is impossible when it comes to you. the new restaurant with months long reservation and holiday stops that have all year round bookings everything is at you feet in an instant flick of a finger.

let's you use his account to play games, his life lies in his game accounts, but if you say you wanna try playing something he'd sit you with him and teach you how to play, encouraging that you're doing so well even if you're making an absolute blunder. if you insist on multiplayer mode he'd definitely let you win, happy to see you happy. and if you mess up something on his account he won't say a word. he can just do it again.

At some point, Copycat gets the bright Idea to use his shapeshifting abilities to earn money. At first, his plan is to create an internet service where people can send him money and a request, and he'd shapeshift into whoever they asked and say something they requested.

However, he soon abandons this idea after a video of him as Tony Stark starts circulating with people falsely claiming Tony actually said the things in that video. Immediate regret.

So, he immediately turns around and does something else. That something else was what he called his 'father business'. This involves shapeshifting into the customer's father and telling the customer that he's proud of them.

...By the end of the first week, Copycat has enough money to buy his own private island. He proceeds to stash it all away... and eventually just forgets he even has it. He only ever remembers it when someone brings up dads or father-figures.

when i first designed erestor 3 years back i wasnt totally aware of his potential half-elf status, and since then ive come across some more fanon interpretations of him being haleth and caranthir's kid which i really liked!!!! so ive decided to rework him a little by combining my original lore for him into this concept 👉👈 i ended up getting carried away on whole different tangent with his backstory which ive summarised down below HAHA

tldr to expand on some key points under the cut:

born in F.A. 371 to haleth and caranthir; his parents' romance is short but passionate, and while many of the haladin are initially unsure about the nature of this union, they dont oppose it. for 4 years they live an unconventional but happy life together

haleth leaves thargelion in F.A. 375 and raises erestor with her people once they resettle. he's too young to remember much about caranthir. throughout his childhood she never tells him who his father is, but he also never really feels the need to ask.

he's captured in F.A. 460 (40 years after his mother's death) and escapes in F.A. 510. two years later, he finally finds refuge in Amon Ereb-- six years after the deaths of caranthir, celegorm and curufin in the 2nd kinslaying.

is tasked by maedhros to assist maglor with elrond and elros' education after they're taken in following the 3rd kinslaying in F.A. 538. he becomes a weird mix of a nanny/older brother/teacher figure to them, and a strange but sweet bond forms between them.

entrusted to protect elrond and elros following the break out of the war of wrath. he leads them to the Host of the Valar, where the twins are given the choice of the half-elven; to his surprise, he's afforded this choice as well, and decides to remain elven out of compassion for elrond after elros chooses mortality.

remains by elrond's side to watch over him for most of the 2nd age. during this time he resides in lindon as a healer, translator and archivist; later joins elrond in imladris, and partakes in the war of the last alliance as a combat medic.

in the 3rd age, is beset with sea-longing after what he regards to be a long and tiresome existence; he's also filled with guilt for being unable to help elrond heal celebrian’s psychological wounds, and contemplates following her back to Valinor. ultimately decides to stay back a bit longer, however, and lingers until after sauron’s defeat when the rest of the elves finally depart for the West.��

that's just a very condensed version but one day i hope to explore in some 4th age stuff where he finds out who his dad is...?! or will he?!?! who knows lol

Theory/Headcannon: Since Daisuke's parents are rich, they ARE going to insist for a recovery mission for the tulpar. So Curly might in fact get rescued.

After Curly gets rescued, judging by his state of being, it's obviously concluded that shit went down on the ship and curly wasn't a perpetrator.

After that he gets physical,mental and speech therapy. He talks about everything that happened, to the press.

That's when workplace abuse, and corporate manipulation starts being taken into consideration. Curly sues pony express and wins a 5 billion€ cheque.

During therapy he meets a doctor who falls in love with him. With his s/o's support, Curly gains confidence, and sort of becomes an activist and philanthropist.

And while a lot of people headcanon curly killing himself due to his own grief, I like to believe he lives on to tell his story and keep everybody else's legacy on that ship alive.

He talks about corporate negligence, mental health abuse, and outright subpar human conditions that they were left to.

Maybe THIS was curly's REDEMPTION after all, him being the catalyst for the starting of workplace misdemeanor being taken seriously This is the life he wanted, this is the life he doesn't wanna run away from all the time.

It was an attack during the day time, Duke needed backup, he couldn’t be at the three attack sites all at once, so he calls Barbara and she sends Batman and Red Robin. Dick is still at work, Jason if off doing something, Cass is at her ballet class, Steph is at one of her classes, Damian is still at school, and Barbara couldn’t get ahold of anyone else.

So when they arrive they split up and go to the three attack sites, it goes to plan and everything works out in the end. They meet up at the center of the three attacks where the GCPD is located with the containment buses. They put them away and they stay there to help any civilians, as this was the safe haven during the attacks.

Tim almost walks away, but remembers that he’s supposed to help others, and ignore their differences, so he starts to help this man, who is probably around the same age as Jason, when he notices a tattoo of something on his arm.

Tim internally reminds himself that Bruce and Kate are both Jewish. That’s not a good symbol. The hat is not good. But he still has to help him, right?

Duke notices his hesitation and walks over, asking if something is wrong. Tim looks at the tattoo than at Duke. He picks up on it immediately.

Tim looks over at Bruce and sighs. If he gets benched, he gets benched.

So he punches him.

Bruce is surprised but then he sees the hat and the symbol and shrugs it off. He pats Tim on the back and calls an ambulance for the guy as he was knocked right out.

All three of them go back to the cave, just to find out that the meme ‘Red Robin punched a Naz¡’ is already trending. Tim sees someone joke that they were both on the ‘red’ side, so he becomes Blue Robin for a few weeks before he gets tired of being compared to Nightwing.
