I love the Volcano Manor. I love it so bad. I love how over the top the manor itself is. How Rya is the daughter of some vaguely described crazy lady and then adopted and raised by Disney's newest animated villain Rykard and husband-cannibalizing Tanith; but she herself is so sweet and gentle. Through Rya's quest you also learn that Tanith, the woman the abductor virgins' designs are based off of, is arguably the best parent in the entire game. They have a bloodhound knight living in their basement. Radahn's portrait in the drawing room is there to show how much Rykard prioritizes strength, and makes sure all his Tarnished champions stay in that same stuffy room all day and stare at it. I love how literally NO ONE you expect to join the Volcano Manor joins it. Bernahl, who is previously only characterized as a polite Golden-Order loving fellow. Diallos, who said he was going to kill the Volcano Manor recusants who were responsible for Lanya's death. Patches, who is literally known as "the untethered" tethering himself to an organization he genuinely seems to believe in. The fun gimmick fight against the serpent/Rykard. The comically evil troll that guards the front of the manor and wears an EVIL dark robe so you know you're about to fight the EVIL troll. The assassination side quests and their rewards, most notably the magma whip candlestick! And, best of all, cut content confirming that the guy who organized this whole deal was bisexual and polyamorous.

Gideon is no-brainer, as he literally tries to stop you from taking the throne, he could easily have choice before his bossfight- either fight him or accept his idea, and choosing second option, he would either betray you to be Lord himself or simply everything would stay the same way. Millicent is part of Malenia and there was plan to make her new goddess, so imagine her actually becoming second Malenia, but this one would accept rot right away.
