Prompt: “You can kiss me, you know.”

A/N: AHHHH I LOVE BUCKY BARNES SO MUCH IM SO. i wanted to write him so i spun my magical wheel of dialogue prompts until this one popped up and i got the MOTIVATION to write this!! bucky is so <3 i hope i captured him okay in this.

Word Count: 259

"You can kiss me, you know," Bucky says, a small smirk on his face. You look at him shocked, your faces way closer together than normal. You can feel his breath on your face and you don't try to move back. You find you don't want to.

"What?" You ask. Very smooth, Y/N. He chuckles and brings his hand up to your face, gently tracing your jaw. You swallow thickly and his smirk turns into a soft smile.

"You can kiss me," He repeats as if you didn't hear him. You did ask what after all. "I see the way you look at my lips every five seconds."

You feel your cheeks heat up and hope that your facial expression doesn't give away how flustered you are. He laughs and takes a step back, gesturing his hand around.

"Or, well, I could be wrong. Uh- Yeah, sorry if I just assumed, wow that's not very cool, is it?" He asks, and you can tell he's rambling. His cheeks are a soft pink and you reach forward, grabbing his metal hand and pulling him back towards you. He stumbles slightly and looks at you with wide eyes and a small, surprised, smile. "Oh?"

"Yeah. Oh." You say, before leaning forward and kissing him. He hums into the kiss and pulls you in by your hips.

After a few moments, he pulls back and smirks again, his confidence coming back in full force.

"I knew you wanted to kiss me." He teases and you gently slap his arm.

"Oh, whatever, Barnes."

klaus: also i was stabbed, can you get luther, please.

gosh, lena, i really will miss you! im pretty sure ive known you ever since i joined and youve been someone who inspires me and makes me feel happy on this website.

but, i understand. tumblr isnt always something that people always want to be on and i respect and support your decision. tumblr and writing on it can be exhausting and sometimes it isnt even rewarded with interaction and theres other cons as well and sometimes the pros dont outweigh the cons for people.

ive always loved reading your fanfic and im so happy i was able to read some of it and that we were able to talk even though we didnt do it often. you were one of the people i tried to interact with more on here whenever i was actually active and you have always been so welcoming. i’ll miss you, and i hope your future is happy and is what you really WANT it to be. you deserve that.

alright guys, here it is. i think this was a long time coming. my blog’s reputation, history and overall vibe is something i no longer identify with, something that no longer brings me joy. i don’t enjoy being here and posting my writing here like i used to. after taking time away, due to being busy and some personal reasons, i noticed i wasn’t missing being here. so, for several reasons, i’ve decided to leave.

i have some already written that fics i haven’t posted yet, which i will get out within the next month. other than that, i will not be posting my writing here anymore — feel free to send your requests to other writers or i can post a list of my requests and people can take them if they want.

i will be lurking around here for a bit, just shit posting and such, but i will officially declare this blog inactive on Dec. 1st. my blog will remain up for a few months, but i will deactivate it eventually. please don’t ask me to leave it up permanently, i’ve made my decision.

thank you to everyone who has supported me over these last two years, it’s been incredible & you’re all so amazing. i’m glad to have met and interacted with so many of you, you all really made my time here on this blog. this was a difficult decision, but i think it’s what’s best.

Yes! I do! but tumblr SUCKS and doesn’t tell me!!

Both is good! Wattpad is harder for individual fics, but if you put them all in one book its easier.

For Example, If you have Winchesters + Winchester!Sibling fics, they could all go in one book dedicated to that.

The same with X Readers fics! If you write multiple relationships for a certain fandom, you can have a book dedicated to That.

I suppose you could also just do a big wattpad book with all of your works in it, but idk if many people would read it since it’s multi-fandom, and some people might not do that.

X reader fics can do pretty well on Wattpad if you group them together as “One-Shots” in a book.

Ao3 is also very good, because It is very easy to find the content you enjoy by doing tag filtering, and other things. And it’s good for posting boht multi-chapter fics and one-shots?

I usually read on Tumblr, Wattpad, and Ao3! I have a huge love for wattpad because of the commenting function, and how you can comment almost wherever you want! Ao3 is also good, because it's very easy to find fics that you enjoy, though on Ao3 x Reader fics seem to be less successful in my experience. I'm sorry Tumblr sucks so much! I have notifications on for you, yet it never tells me when you post!! Tumblr just hates you because you're better than it!

That's good to hear! I'm trying to see which one is better but I might end up using both. I had made ao3 when people were saying tumblr was gonna shut down, and I agree. "x reader" fics aren't as popular as it is here. 😣

tumblr does suck but it's ok, hopefully I can do good on other platforms too!!

hey so we dont have enough money for internet so i might rarely be able to write fanfic and post it now for a while

i have a free government phone with data and messaging and stuff but it barely works so i probably wont be able to write on there that well at all so yeah
