I’ve been brainrotting about Rain World AUs for a few weeks and I love the ones where an iterator dies and experiences the cycle, ending up back in the past, but I wanted a Moon centric one, so that’s what this is based on

due to enot's dozen food pips, they don't always find enough food, so they slowly are driven by hunger and desperation, and after one particularly bad cycle they find a small pack of scugs, they look so happy.. so tast- "no! What are you thinking ???, Get it together!" They tried as hard as they could But.. "I- food- " .... "i didn't even give them a chance to fight back when i threw the egg at them", it was over in just a few seconds, they knew this was all kinds of wrong, but they just couldn't hope but salivate at all those body's ready to be chewed up, enot after having a moments of clarity realizing what they had just done freaked out and dropped the mauled bones they saw on their hands, after the whole ordeal they made some makeshift graves, "this is the most I can do.." though what scared them the most was how they enjoyed the warm feeling of blood on their lips and how it still wasn't enough.

due to this event enot had slowly become more skilled in attracting pray, like a siren they would use their charisma and stunned whoever got close enough with a rock to the head, and mauled them before they could escape. At one point they even encountered saint but for some reason when saint ascended them, they just stood back up....

Terrible puns aside, my name is Te, and this is my TTTE sideblog! I also go by TrainingMontage on Ao3!

I am 25+ years old, she/her, and proudly queer. This is an LGBTQ+ positive; inclusive; and safe blog, so no NSFW, but you may see some swearing and vaguely suggestive content.

My writing and analysis will primarily be based on the Railway Series and Model Series seasons 1-5, as that's what I'm most familiar with, but once in a while I'll reference other TTTE media.

The Skarloey Railway engines, and Skarloey himself in particular, are my favorites, but I also love Edward, James, Percy, Toby + Henrietta, BoCo, Mavis, Daisy, the Bees, and the Culdee Fell engines very much. Narrow gauge ship list here!

TTTE AU: Cockade the Actor

Recently, I’ve been playing around with an au!Diesel 10 that fits into a more RWS-type world. Known as D810, or Cockade, he isn’t villainous or bigoted against steam engines. This is in part because he noticed a growing disdain for diesel-hydraulics such as him, thus realizing he wasn’t in too dissimilar of a boat.

Where most of his class didn’t survive, Cockade did. He was a warm, affable engine who endeared himself to many people. He was also something many of his siblings weren’t: a minor celebrity.

Ever since a background appearance in a local commercial, Cockade wanted to be an actor. He pushed to appear in more commercials, instructional tapes, and TV episodes B.R. used to drum up good PR. These amounted to only several seconds of screen time apiece, but he loved it. He loved becoming a character, embodying part of a story. He thought it could help him work toward the silver screen.

And eagle-eyed rail fans recognized him in all his roles. He developed a small following that advocated on his behalf, working to get him — and at his urging, as many of his siblings as possible — preserved.

He never lost his passion for acting, nor his dream of a “big break.” So when the producers of a project called Thomas & The Magic Railroad came knocking, he all but threw himself at them.

His heritage railway loaned him out to the producers, who gave him his character’s — Diesel 10’s — livery and excavator claw. His enthusiasm and flair for dramatics proved infectious on set. He had only one serious hiccup: he tried method acting.

He didn’t mean any harm by it. He only wanted to try out a new technique; he wanted his first ever film performance to be his best and most convincing. But for all his good intentions, acting like his villainous character 24/7 got on everyone’s nerves.

Thomas, playing himself in the film, got fed up. “Do you want to ‘method act’ some bent buffers, too? I can help you with that.”

Cockade stared at him. “What?”

“The script calls for it, doesn’t it?”

“But that’s — oh. Ohhh.”

It was the wake-up call Cockade needed. Embarrassed, he apologized for his behavior and saved his acting for the cameras.

While still somewhat miffed at first, Thomas softened after Cockade helped him through some stage fright without any judgement. Cockade respected Thomas’ tenacity and sense of responsibility in turn. The two had a similar sense of humor, making each other laugh between takes and teasing the others.

He and Thomas also became close to Sarah, a recent custom-built engine cast as Lady. She gave as good as she got with their teasing, while also becoming interested in the technical aspects of film production and writing. Her perspective on something in the script was always fresh and helpful (even if it was critical).

The engines playing Splatter and Dodge — who didn’t have names of their own, and liked their characters’ names enough to adopt them — came out of their shells at everyone’s encouragement. They loved to ad-lib scenes with Cockade, and they contemplated going into improv comedy once their work was done with TATMR.

A good time was had by all. Cockade felt very satisfied with himself and the overall production, delighting in having so many new friends and connections in show business.

And then the film bombed at the box office.

These days, Cockade says it was a valuable lesson: there’s a lot of moving parts to a film production, and nothing can be perfect. You can only do your best with the part you have. What matters is that you had fun and you gained more experience.

It took him some time to absorb this lesson, though. He wondered if he could’ve done something more, if he could’ve helped. He feared this was the end of his career.

“I’ve been working towards this my entire life,” he said late one night. “I had plan, a vision, of my career. This was my chance at the big time. And now that I’ve had a taste of it, it’s all up in smoke.”

Sarah nudged him. “You read the books, yeah? Look at how many times Mr. Number One over there messed up. He’s still doing alright.”

Thomas only rolled his eyes a little. “My foul-ups did me a world of good, actually. I wouldn’t be famous if those stories didn’t get out.”

“Besides, so what if that’s it for your career or whatever?” Splatter asked. “You’ve been at the bottom.”

“S’not so bad down there. You’ll have us, for one,” Dodge said, grinning. “And if you went up that incline before, you can do it again.”

“…I can,” Cockade said after a pause. “Thanks to all of you.”

In the end, lots of people still liked his performance as Diesel 10. At his request, his heritage railway put him back into D10’s livery for “Day Out With Thomas” events. He auditioned and got to act in other, smaller productions. While typecast as a villain for some time, he considered that a small price to keep doing what he loved.

He still visits Sodor every now and then, both as himself and as Diesel 10. Thomas is always happy to see him. They often chat about how Sarah’s doing as a railway consultant in television writing. Other times, they listen together to Splatter & Dodge’s latest improv comedy podcast released online.

Cockade’s big break didn’t go as he imagined it, but that’s alright. He doesn’t need the glitz and glamour of Hollywood anymore to have a fulfilling career. To him, the fulfillment comes from the wonderful people he meets along the way.

“And failure is never forever,” he tells people, smiling. “It’s always an opportunity — if you let it be one.”

im realizing in hindsight i dont like those colors for her overseers/inspectors as much it feels like too much despite the awesomeness of gummy worm vibe. anyway i have a lot of ideas regarding her but again, not a lot of depth, so i'm not 100% set on keeping her character she may just get lost to the abyss of the mental bin or smth

first thing to note is i did not draw the antenna very well. they're supposed to be more springlike i just didnt have a reference. based on those funny bouncy headbands but she also has little cat ear base to the springs bc why not it's cute. i actually dont remember the reason i think the antenna were drawn at like, 1 am

second thing to note is that the nickname thing doesnt actually matter i wont remember it personally. will probably end up switching between 44 and strings referring to her, though its Supposed to be 44

third thing is that the distinction between cape and scarf is purely about size its honestly more functionally like a scarf . mini-cape. yeah. go my overdesigned robot /silly

this character has been jammed in the "consider later" folder of my brain for months i'm recycling old ideas. infodump will be messy and disorganized i haven't had much of a chance to think about her - its just loose concepts really. and also its way late. dont expect good im having fun

anyway. as it says on the ref - her specialties are chemistry and medicines. when her benefactors were still around she would've operated normally, but after they left, the opportunity to find answers Her Way would've gotten to her. her personality would've always been that she's normally very energetic, again very much a wildcard type that can be very out of pocket. she isn't inspired by any rebelliousness (my other oc, aus, who has a kinda similar personality, is, hence distinction) but rather actual curiosity stemming from wild ideas. instead of looking at each idea and going "well, that logically isn't realistic" she spends the energy trying anyway - just in case. so once given that freedom, she eventually finds herself studying all sorts of pseudosciences, mainly alchemy. maybe its not fair to say that alchemy would exist in rw because thats a very human myth and i dont think theres any backing for it in rw but ehhhhh. i have fun. obviously her backgrounds in these subjects should lead to her going, well that's ridiculous and not worth the time, but if anything it just leads to her getting more ideas. to her she should be the one to actually check for herself if something is true or not, even if a million others have done that before her - and also, i think her logic would be more adjacent to "these myths exist for a reason" which she would want to find.

now, her other groupmates would see that as unhelpful. not really effective study considering there's no backing for it. i think they'd also find her frequent self-experimentation risky and wasteful too and be very discouraging of it. plus it's curious, how's she getting around that? aus can kind of normalize breaking taboos to the iterators overseeing the rest of their groupmates (primarily CG given OSA, the main guy doing that, becomes unable to do so. there's more there that i'll talk about but it's not relevant here) but that's because they're doing so in a way which is mostly net benefit to everybody. the acceptance is begrudgingly, and also very biased in context. from an outsider's perspective 44 doing that is dangerous, especially because it's completely reckless. on that note too, i think stars and 44 get that information via the same means, and while aus obliges in not talking about it, ffs comparatively doesn't care. but the point is - everyone wants her to stop doing that, and she doesn't want to stop doing that, and cg pestering to stop impedes her from falling down rabbitholes. it's okay though, because she can do something about it!

obviously to get everyone else to leave her alone, she's just gotta do a bit of secretly producing a sort of biological malware /silly. something that can fly under the noses of other iterators (i think it'd be a major pain for iterators to get infected with regular computer malware. there's no reason for them to be left vulnerable to that imo they seem too conscious of their processes for that to be effective. at least on the scale 44 needs it to be). there's no reason for her to make it excessively harmful - what she wants is to make sure her activity is less noticed, less present in the minds of anyone too vocal about making her stop. what she needs is to create a parasitic organism with some technological parts to silently infect those bothering her, and with the technology in it mess with their ability to access select memories regarding her. give her some access to their memories, so she can either just outright erase the ones of her choosing or make it exceedingly difficult to access the ones of her choosing, not sure which one is more reasonable for her, but either way she's banking on them not getting wise of it. her goal is not to harm anyone, so after that she steps away from interfering back at them, aside from the continuous action of deciding which things of her those victims will remember or not. she absolutely leaves some, her goal is not to be completely forgotten, there's no reason to do more. just enough so that she can assume she'll be left alone to keep acting like a fool.

in my mind this would also be very successful, and she'd make herself mostly isolated from everyone else. out of boredom she'd probably observe them from the background quite a bit, incase there's any new ideas she can gain from it. and also because it's her hobby to acquire information she should not have, get blackmail material she'd never have a reason to use (though i think she would teasingly threaten it from time to time and it'd be impossible to tell how serious she is about it.) it makes her practically a complete third party to the events happening in her group. always in the background, and it'd probably be really great if she chose to be helpful, but she only wants to be a fly on the wall. and also probably putting deranged things in her intake systems just to see what new and funny thing happens this time. i dont think any of my rw ocs would find a solution but i do think of the now 5 of them 44 would be the most likely and if she did it would be on complete accident. to me she has 4 am gone wrong unboxing videos energy. she knows what shes doing is ridiculous and is fullheartedly doing it anyway just because she can and nobody else is. those antenna are too bouncy for her to act on realism. if its not obvious from at least the acronym alone she was originally meant to be a meme oc i just had a cool thought (make biological malware) it makes her seem more serious than she is

Little Witch Academia X My Hero Academia Crossover Football AU

When Football and Anime collided in my head, this crappy AU was formed. In this AU, different Anime’s form football (soccer) teams and they compete in the Anime Premier League. Little Witch Academia is represented by Luna Nova United, while My Hero Academia is represented by FC U.A.

Academia Derby: Luna Nova United vs. FC U.A. 

The annual rubber match between the Anime Premier League titans Luna Nova United and FC U.A.  As of today, both teams are tied at the top of the table, with similar goal difference. The winner will have a greater chance of winning the Anime Premier League.

Strategies/Traits: -Croix serves as a sweeper/ball-playing center-back (kinda like Franz Beckenbauer, Franco Baresi, and David Luis), while Amanda and Jasminka function mainly as old-fashioned defensive stoppers (like Paolo Maldini, Nemanja Vidic, and Eric Bailly). -Constanze serves as a Pirlo-esque Regista, spraying through balls for the midfield and offense while making plays from deep (think Pirlo, Carrick, and Kroos). -Sucy often runs forward to assist the attack (Like Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal), while Lotte prefers to help out Constanze in midfield (Like N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic). -Hannah and Barbara are excellent crossers and solid markers, but they sometimes need to be reminded to run back on defense. Sometimes, Prof. Ursula drops them in favor of the more defensive Wangari, Avery, and/or Frank when a more defensive, bus-parking approach is needed. -Akko sometimes drops deep to collect the ball from midfield (a-la Messi). -Diana scores most of the goals, with Akko getting most of the assists. -Diana is the main penalty taker, while Akko scores curling free-kicks by transforming the ball into a bird throughout its flight. -Andrew sometimes comes on as a super-sub. He was also banned for being a useless little shit. -The team has the best defense in the league, but its offense is slightly overshadowed by Luna Nova United’s offense.

-I like to think that Stanley had his MSR crew in his corner. In my mind, both were also veterans of WWI. They understood his struggles to adapt civilian life (albeit to a lesser extent, since they weren’t “born” into war as he was). And they did their best to support him during that transition phase they knew too well.

-Whenever he derailed, his crew didn’t give him any grief. They instead chatted and joked with him, trying to keep him from feeling embarrassed. They would also defend him to other crews and to MSR management. Again and again, they demanded that he be reguaged a second time.

-In return, Stanley grew to respect and care for his crew. He wafted warm steam on them in bitter winter months. He listened to them talk about their families, asking after them with an air of affected boredom. He tried his hardest to keep them safe in a derailment. He let them — and only them — call him Stan.

-When Stanley went behind the shed, he didn’t blame his crew. He knew they did all they could for him. He told them so, when they snuck over during their lunch breaks. They didn’t reply, sitting on the brick wall while scrubbing off all of his soot they could reach.

-He didn’t see them during his years in the mine. The site security was much higher; there was no chance of them sneaking in. He stopped letting himself wonder about them after the mine flooded.

-His fireman and driver worked on the MSR and other railways before retiring and moving to the same assisted living home. In my AU, they saw the newspaper articles about the successful restoration of an ex-pumping engine in the early ‘80s. Both of them were in shock: like everyone else, they heard that the mining company scrapped Stanley. But once they got over their shock, they recruited their grandchildren to take them to the Skarloey Railway, ASAP.

-Stanley, for his part, assumed his old crew weren’t around anymore. He came back to the sheds one day to find two older men there. He didn’t recognize them at first, even when they turned to face him. But he got there in the end.

(“‘Ello, Stan,” one said, offering a shaky smile.

All the air rushed out of Stanley’s firebox, his flame guttering. “That name ain’t yours to use. That’s…”

He stopped. He looked closer at them. One had the thin white scar on his forehead, enfolded in his wrinkles. The other had the mole on his left wrist, a soft brown hill on blue, veiny ridges of skin.

“…that’s for Fred and Paul.”

“Got it in one, Stan. Just like old times.”

“Not like old times.” Stanley‘s eyes burned. “A hell of a lot better, now that you finally showed up,” he laughed, watery and overflowing.)

-Fred and Paul paid Stanley many more visits, both on the SR and at the rail museum. They brought their children and grandchildren, who were eager to meet this storied American engine and friend. Stanley reciprocated this warmth, glad to see people he’d heard so much about.

-The end result was Stanley becoming a fast honorary member of the family. He cherished them as much as the engine family he made at the rail museum and on the SR.

(-The most recent family potluck took place at the rail museum, rented out for a Saturday afternoon. Some ambitious relatives asked Stanley if they could try cooking their food in his firebox. “Y’know, so you can taste it too?” asked one, hands in their pockets with a sheepish smile.

Stanley didn’t think of museum rules. He thought of the cigar an army officer lit in his firebox. He thought of all the smoke he tasted over the years — tobacco, gunpowder, and coal. He thought of new and old ash mingling, smudging together under shovels and his steady fire.

The food wound up burnt and caked with soot. Nobody minded, but everyone laughed and made it another story to tell.)
