Iceland and Russia kin here! I think it's not bad to enjoy the good parts of the source , as long as you're aware of the problematic parts and don't try to excuse them. Instead of repressing the kins or fully supporting the source, I think it's better to go the middlepath and reclaim the characters and stuff, while ofc being fully aware of the bad stuff y know? I have more kins of others problematic sources too, and I've found this to be the best solution imo! - local hetalia kin
