Today I was the queen of the track. After the school round i went to the track for my run. It was scorchio but my session was nice and I managed. 30 minutes warm up and 20 strides on the grass. I even did the last 2 bare foot. That felt good!!! Followed by a 20 minute peloton strength session which was pretty much 20 minutes of lunges!!!! 1/29-(4 miles & arms) Hello!! I actually got up this morning & went to the gym. The walk over was crazy cold but once I got to the gym I felt so much better. I listened to 50s music and ran and the treadmill actually wasn’t half bad for once. My foot didn’t bother me too much and it just felt nice to move. I was able to speed up at the end of my run and I just felt good. I finished with 25 minutes of arm weights and that also felt good so we are getting there people! Tryna stay positive. I walked the cold mile back and then quickly got ready for classes. I ate my normal overnight oats & yogurt for breakfast, made some tea, bundled up and headed off.
I had a long day of classes but at least the sun was shinning. I had a super average day overall. Lunch was taco salad and it was GREAT! I love taco salad and it always puts me in a good mood. I spent the afternoon in class, at the library and that’s about it. Dinner was pesto chicken & salad. At night I had a snack of hot chocolate & a brownie and it was THE best. I’m a chocolate addict and I’m not ashamed. I forgot to take a picture of my dinner so enjoy the desert pic instead!!
I spent the night attempting to do work but watching Netflix instead and it was a good move. I got my comfy on and just sat in bed and it was nice. Class was cancelled for tomorrow and the gym is closed in the morning so I’m going to sleep in and then hopefully have a really productive day! The temps are crazy cold here so I’ll just doing work tomorrow & going to the gym & getting coffee :)

Not only was I able to join @strava this training season to GIVE BACK to the EVERYDAY PEOPLE who were RUNNING FOR GOOD by coaching and preparing them for the 2022 @nycmarathon , I was also able to give back to the running community by sharing some of my training tips, thoughts, and philosophies via blogs in @strava ‘s Fall Marathon Club. I always say, aside from my wife, the running community is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Wow, I can tell the people in this club loves and lives running with their energy, excitement, and engagement! Like everything I do with me my coaching, I really wanted to make sure I’m listening to what people need and design programs - in this case write blogs to help. So, Al of these words were based on real conversations I had with my athletes and runners this season. To my athletes, you all inspire me to strive to become the best coach I can be. Update 1
Since the beginning of my running journey, I have improved a little. I can run without taking breaks for longer, although that also depends on the day. I was surprised by how many highs and lows I experience. One day I struggle during my run, three days later it is going amazing. I am still trying to figure out the cause of it, because I have been fairly consistent with my nutrition and sleep.
I am probably improving much slower than I would have before I had surgery, but I am still excited that I can try to be more active again. I usually try 30-40 minutes of a running-walking combination 2x per week. On Mondays I join an exercise group to do workouts using my own bodyweight.
Additionally, I have bought some running clothes that fit me better, and it has made runs a lot more comfortable. 
All in all, my neighbors are getting used to me leaving the house looking cute, and then coming back looking like I am dying.

Half-Marathon Continuous Run Streak # 11 - Just when I was falling apart with every passing day for this Half Marathon streak and I was just feeling weak both mentally and physically 8-| !!! This is what exactly I just needed, such a good run with good form, great pacing, and PB/PR 8-| !!! - My third sub 2hrs Half Marathon felt so easy and the weather was also beautiful with drizzling in last couple of kilometers 8-| !!! And I have made this PB/PR after 10 days of continuous Half Marathon runs, so this is such a big deal for me and it really feels so great 8-| !!! First 5km im 3 weeks!
So previously I have made it up to 6km, however 3 weeks ago I went to Florida and ate so much crap. I’m pretty happy with this considering its my second run since I got back (my first was around 4.3km). It was a struggle to keep going and by the end I was struggling to catch my breath but I know I will come back stronger in a few days because of it! Feeling great now.

The slogan "City of a Hundred Bridges" does not evoke associations of running. Rather, we will see numerous canals, small boats or - when we know that we are talking about Wrocław - such gems as the Zwierzyniec Bridge, the Grunwald Bridge and the small Tumski Bridge. Today I was determined to get to the top of the part of the mountain I was running at. I have run up places but I have never actually arrived anywhere, if you know what I mean. Today I pushed a bit more, had enough water with me, so I got to that beautiful spot. Though it was really humid when I started, at 1300m the air was finally cold and fresh. 2/6-(5 miles & arms) Hi guys!! Today ended up being an okay day! I woke up early and made it to the gym. I was exhausted but it’s all good. I ran two miles to warm up. It was petty warm out just a little misty. Then at the gym I ran two miles on the treadmill. My foot was bothering me a bit but we got it done. Then I did 25 minutes of arms and this felt pretty good. Finally I stretched and such & ran a mile back. Then I showered and got ready super quick for class. I ate some sweet potatoes & yogurt for breakfast. I forgot how good sweet potatoes are. Then I headed to my three hour class which was painful. After that I ate lunch which I didn’t like. It was just this gross salad with chickpeas. I liked the chickpeas but there weren’t a lot of options. After that I did sorority things, homework and had my weekly existential crisis. At night I went to two meetings. Dinner was rice, salad and lots of corn bread😂 that’s about it for me I was in a bad mood tonight hahaha as I have been literally all week!! Snacks: cereal & chocolate, dates, apple

Starting my couch to 5k journey – the (terrible) first try
I plan on participating in a 5k run in June. To start off, I decided to check what my body was already capable of and to determine where the starting point in my running journey would be. Isn’t there a saying that if you make it out of the door, you have already completed the hardest part? If that is true, I can count my first run a success! Or not.
I am not talking about me barely being able to run one kilometer without taking breaks. Before I left for the run, it hailed. Big time. By the time I made it outside, the majority of the ground was covered in small pieces of ice. “Look at me”, I thought to myself, “going for a run even when it is bad weather out!” 
But while I was trying to run, I came across three problems: The sun was shining, and there was ice on the ground. It was incredibly bright, and it was hard to see where I was going. Secondly, the hail on the ground made it slippery, which in hindsight was not safe. And lastly, the ice pieces swim on top of water, they do not sink. If there was a puddle, and it was covered in hail, I stepped right into it because I did not see it. A few minutes into my run, my feet were dripping wet.
In conclusion, my first run might have been a bit of a disaster, but it still makes me laugh about myself every time I think about it.
