TALK ABOUT YOUR QUINARI OC

I only have this very old art of him and screenshots of his game version. Rune Hissera is a mage, tal-vashoth, and zoologist who takes special interest in dragonology and herpetology. Snakes happen to be his favorites among them. During the timeline of the Inquisition, Rune joins because he's researching how the torn veils affects wildlife and the surrounding ecosystems. They've already seen evidence of the fade tormenting creatures like wolves, and red lyrium experiments on giants.

He's typically frowned upon in most academic circles in Thedas due to, well, being a Qunari in general, and a mage. Much of his published works are under a human's name, or taken from him without a choice. His pursuit is knowledge and understanding, not fame. He tries to tell himself that's all that matters. His primary romance is with the Iron Bull, but he's so shippable with people. He's a giant sweet heart with good humor. And animals! Oh, the lectures he goes on about the local wildlife and species. He'll catch random reptiles to show to the group. He's the love of my life.
