hello, i am seeking writing partners for discord threads. i am also open to writing on here or other platforms, but i prefer to focus on the writing and skip the fancy formatting, icons, and all of that.

name: d or dani pronouns: she/her/hers age: 25+ experience: 7 years of roleplaying, with recently taking a break for a few years. i also write professionally. timezone: PST (western us)

age: 21+ experience: some would be preferred but i won't exclude someone for experience level. timezone: my schedule changes, so if you from a different country/continent, you may only get a daily IC reply or one a few times a week.

about the roleplay

hey! a few fandoms that we'd like to see (aside from filling out ones we already have characters for!) are: the percy jackson series, runaways, the society, wednesday, the gg reboot, heartbreak high, all american, or even video games and book fandoms! things like night in the woods and six of crows are more than welcome, too.

It didn't take long for word of the eldest Serizawa daughter's engagement to spread with the large castle, especially between the close nit staff members.

Kori began preparing the princess's favorite treats in an effort to cheer her up before hearing of a few of the young girls whisper about Nana's new suitor along with a few giggles.

"Alright, ladies, wrap it up. You don't want the royal to hear you speaking improperly about them, do you?"

Kori said politely as the young women apologized and returned to their chores.

The handmaid added a few final touches and took the tray to Nana's quarters, saying hello to the other royal siblings along the way before knocking on the princess's door.

[So. . .this was it-? huh? They stared at the window latch in their room with hesitation. This was for the best they told themself, this was going to make sure everyone was safer. they didn't need someone who was a practical ticking timebomb to be around did they-? NO most certainly not.

It was hard knowing they couldn't have a family after all. knowing once they leave there is very little chance of them returning. Seeing their friends again, seeing their family. But, this wasn't about them. this was about keeping their loved ones safe. that's what mattered. they let out a shaky breath and opened the window latch, and toppled out of it. They were scared, really scared. . .so in that moment they did the only thing they could think off; Run.

so off they ran, down the sidewalk, taking turns, crossing streets. . . only thing they knew was where they were going. Witchwood Forest.]

A knock

Then a second.

A third, a fourth, a fifth.

Each progressively more and more aggressive.

"Hey, anyone in there or what? I ain't gonna hurt ya. Probably."

Outside tye door stood an Inkling, bright orange hair drooping from a Grizzco cap. Her outfit doesn't look Grizzco, though. More civilian, a black sweatshirt with spaghetti straps over her shoulders, ripped leggings and large work boots below.

She pulled a lighter out of her pocket as she waited, taking a long drag from a cigarette. She sighed.

"I aint here to bring ya back, if that's what you're worried about."

She leaned against the side of the cabin, besides the door.

Waiting.

Footsteps, tenative and slow, approached the door.

Slowly, ever slowly, the door opened. Just a crack. Just enough the see the face on an inkling, and a shaky hand curling around the door.

Her skin was pale, the ends of the hands tipped in a dull green. Her eyes were a dulled tan colour, and her tentacles were cut short, fading from burnt peach to the same green as the tips of her fingers.

A shaky intake of breath. Then, a hushed whisper, voice trembling like her body, not use to speaking to life like herself.

Edgar does not fully recognize the man before him, but there's a twinge of deja vu, all in the most uncomfortable way possible, all like a lifetime he can't go back to. (Is it so naive to simply wish for change? Is it naive to know what else is out there, to know that the world doesn't have to be this way, to know you've lived in a nightmare for most of your life and choose to run?)

"...Man in Red, yes? Quite a... non-descriptive name." Even with the painter's glare, even with the frustration in his voice, it's notable that he crosses his arms tightly over himself, that he takes a step back when speaking, that his eyes are a little too wide, locked on to the Man in Red as if to make sure he sees any sudden movements.

Mir looked at the one before him, an odd sense of curiosity and annoyance plaguing his mind. The feeling wasn't one he was unfamiliar with but morose annoyed about with how the painter reminded him of someone he had been asked about. "Non-descriptive is a way to put the name I go by. What about yourself and the wear of a painter? What may you go by if 'painter' isn't it?" His words were curious and vaguely mocking, as if jabbing at the painter in his own odd way. His movements were slow as he walked around the one before him, as if he was judging him and trying to get a read.
