I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but I am thinking of creating an RPG. Not entirely sure yet though, I am down for 1x1's or even smaller writing groups as well. It's amazing how much less heat individual dnd-5e-only players would catch if they had slightly less thin skin.

Like if you see a post about how expecting the GM to know all the rules of the game for you while they experience GM burnout, and you're like, "but I like playing while someone else remembers the rules for me," you can just ignore the post. The worse thing that will happen is you'll internalize it and maybe be more considerate of your fellow players.

If you see a post by game designers talking about game design, you don't have to respond! You can keep doing freeform RP that also has tieflings in it. There is literally nothing wrong with that!

The thing is, there are probably dnd-5e-only players who don't have thin skin and are perfectly content with playing how they want and don't need to yell at indie game designers over it, but I see them a lot less because by their nature they don't come in and yell at indie game designers.
