Quick History Fact #4
Back in old Galar, many Knights would design their suits based on Corviknight. There were even Knights known as "The Knights of the Birds of Steel," who would have their armor be made from the feathers of a Corviknight and use the feathers of Skaromy as a sword.

Hello Runa!
Fellow Galarian here.
Recently read your introspective on the older myths regarding certain species being evil and doing your own debunks, and it got me thinking.
Aegislash also has a very harrowing tale surrounding it regarding Aegislash draining a king of life and the kingdom falling afterwards.
I was always skeptical of this, as while Aegislash was used by more cruel kings in the past to manipulate their people and Pokémon, this is the only instance I'm aware of where an Aegislash actively acts against its king, whilst the dex tells people absolutely nothing about the nature of this supposed king.
I did some digging myself and my findings regarding this myth...don't exactly paint this king in a good light let's say.
It concerns me how many people take the Galar Pokedex's statement at face value and try to weaponize it against people who are bonded with an Aegislash. (I think we all remember the backlash there was, and still is to an extent when Leon first used an Aegislash on his team.)
If you would like I would love to discuss this more in private to construct an answer that settles this once and for all.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for sharing this! I would love to discuss this

When was the first recording of Charizard,if you know ofc-
(@magmaticmeratopz)
Hmm, that would be a while ago. The earliest recording that we have of a Charizard was in Kanto, around 10,000 years ago, through cave drawings on walls. But, Charizard back them were a lot more ferocious looking, and not as friendly and cute as they are now. I can see why they were afraid of them.

Salutations! My name is Professor Hailey NewMew, and what're your thoughts on the mythical Pokemon Mew? I think Mew is a wonderful Pokemon, and is the sole reason why we even have Pokemon in the first place! Especially it's clone child, Mewtwo. although that's a bit of a controversial topic...
@askprofessorhailey
Hello 👋
I think Mew is very interesting, but there's so much mystery surrounding it that I want to figure out.
Mew is said to be the first pokemon, correct? Then, where would that put Unown, Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, most of the legendary pokenon in general? Well, I think that Mew was the first pokemon to be put on Earth and start out life. Mew most likely came down to Earth from wherever Arceus and the others lie and asexually bred. But like Manaphy breeding, it didn't come out properly so the offspring looked different and was a different species than the parent.
But, life also started with the first scientific organism being prokaryotes. Those most likely didn't come from Mew, as it wouldn't make sense for the offspring to be that, and they seem completely unrelated. So, perhaps Mew was asexually breeding and many spawn came from that, and while prokaryotes were evolving naturally over time and created sentient organisms, and Mew started breeding with those and creating what we now know as pokemon.
Of course, this is just my theory. What do you think on the matter?

I suspect that the alleged Sāriknight that someone posted a photograph of is, in actuality, either a very talented Ditto or an equally talented Zorua or Zoroark. Ditto have a long and storied history of being trained for practical effects in stage productions and movies; It is entirely possible that someone would train a Ditto to take the form of a Sāriknight for one reason or another. A Zorua or Zoroark would likely require another Pokémon to use Telekinesis on them, or to themselves use Magnet Rise via Copycat, in order to appear to truly fly.
I can admire the effort that went in to such a photograph, but I find it very impolite for the poster to share it without clarifying the methods used to produce it. Posting fake photographs of cryptids and mythical Pokémon just makes things harder for those of us who want to find actual information. :(
Yeah, I agree with this. Many movies have used specifically trained Ditto to act as legendaries or mythicals, and Zoroark can be very talented in their illusions. You gotta admire the effort though.

Why did you tell me those cruel ghost stories when I was younger?
So you'd stay in your bed. You would constantly get out and just sneak around when I put you to sleep, so I told the ghost stories, and you stopped doing that.

Are there any Ice types that can handle living in other places other than super cold places? Like in the anime trainers that travel have Ice types, so they have to handle different climates. How realistic is that?
There are actually plenty of ice types that do well in non super-cold temperatures. Pokemon like Glaceon, Abamasnow, Alolan ninetails, and Weavile all do pretty fine outside of extremely cold temperaments. But, it's also easier for them to overheat, so trainers have to be careful. If you have a Cryoganal, it's best to keep them in their pokeballs because they will turn to steam when it's too hot.

I would like to see a Mothman like mythical Pokemon where one day it would suddenly appear before a disaster and tries to warn the people of the upcoming doom that it senses, but completely disappears upon the passing by of the disaster. People would often blame it and they would think that it created the Pokemon Absol in order to bring more disasters, but in actuality it's trying to prevent it while being somewhere far away. It Bug and Dark type.
Well guess which one I was already working on 👀

I dentification of what his poem is about?
On the road to perdition
Stands a false sentry
With a devilish mission
Once it spots movement
It puts its tail in position
Its plan to pelt prey
Coming into fruition
For this is its territory
And there is no admission
At first I thought this poem was about a Golurk, but Golurk doesn't have a tail.
It could be about Mawhile, since it uses its 'tail' to lure in prey and protect its territory.
Perhaps it's about nothing, instead just being a symbol for a pokemon that hunts or stalks its prey. Does anyone else have anything they want to add?
