Charmed by the Sea Ch.2 - What if Yuu had a different form? - Eel

“A warning would’ve been nice about the taste.” She stuck her tongue out. “And why is everyone looking at me?”

“Your form...” Ash answered.

Yuu looked down and her eyes widened. Instead of legs, a long white, brown, and black spotted tail with a rippling wavy brown and white ombre tail fin stretching along her body. The multicolored speckles continue up her body and dotted around the large white heart mark on her chest and ended where her belly button would've been. Her arm fins were the same color as her tail fin with the same design. She moved her hands along her head and jumped as she felt that her ears had also turned into fins.

Looking down at her hands, she noticed her nails had morphed into painted claws. One spin of her body cemented what her thought was. She was an eel, specially a brown spotted moray eel. Yuu looked up, seeing the overly excited look on Floyd's face and the barely contained stare on Jade's. Oh, she was very much in trouble. Before she could even open her mouth, Floyd slammed his body into hers with the force of what Yuu could only described as "overzealous eel".

They spun around for a few seconds as Floyd wrapped his tail around her.

"You're an eel! You're not a shrimpy, you're an eel!" He chirped and chatted loudly, pressing his face against hers. "I'm so happy~"

Yuu coughed. "I'm glad-oof."

Jade quickly joined the two, wrapping his tail around what he could of Yuu's and pressed against her. He said nothing, but Yuu could hear the rumble of what sounded like a purr deep in his throat.

"Hey, let go of my henchhuman!" Grim tried swimming after them with his chunky catfish and tuna hybrid body.

"Out of all the forms the Sea Witch could've chosen for her." Ruby stared in awe. "I've never seen Jadie act like that before."

"They're both excited, which means they're never leaving her side."

"A LITTLE HELP HERE!?" Yuu shouted as she was completely immobilized

Darkness Within

Cold. Isolated. That's what Ruby felt when she found herself surrounded by pitch black.

Ruby: H-Hello?

She heard a faint hiss as a stream of red light appeared in the distance. Immidiately, Ruby was gripped by fear. She recognised it as the blade of a Sith. The sound of footsteps touched her ears and Ruby backed away. Her heart was thumping and her hands were trembling. The steps were getting louder.

Ruby: *quietly* Get away from me. Please.

Suddenly, everything was silent except for thr humming of the blade. Ruby gasped when she saw the face of her assailant. It was Blake, staring at her with sinister golden eyes. Ruby's breaths slowed and her muscles tensed. From her waist, she drew her own lightsaber and ignited it.

Ruby: YAAAAAH!!!!

Ruby made the first strike, only to have it parried. She staggered, but quickly found her footing and lunged towards her.

SLASH!!!

Ruby: AGGGGGH!!!! AGH! AGHHH!!!

Ruby felt a searing pain run all the down her back. Blake had scarred her. Ruby kept a tight grip on her lightsaber and turned around, raising it for a downward strike.

KSSHH!! KSSHH!! KSSHH!!

Every attack was swiftly blocked and the pain made it harder to for Ruby to keep her stance. She looked at Blake and grit her teeth. She wasn't going to lose. Not this time. Blake was ready to make her move and tried to slash at Ruby's head. However, Ruby managed to deliver a swift counterattack and sliced off her arm. A horrified look appeared on Blake's face and Ruby pierced her heart without a second thought. Silver met gold as Ruby glared deep into Blake's eyes. Strangely, Blake started smile and she slowly reached for Ruby's cheek.

Blake: You're almost ready. *chuckles*

Ruby pulled her lightsaber out of Blake's chest and trembled as the Sith's laughter turned maniacal.

Ruby's eyes shot wide open and she screamed until her throat burned.

Jaune: *bursts through door* Ruby! Ruby! Calm down, I'm here! *grabs onto her shoulders*

Ruby: *hugs Jaune tightly* J-Jaune! I-It's her! I killed her! I killed her! I-

Jaune: *hugs back*Hey, hey, hey. You're alright, you're safe. Just breathe, okay? Like we practiced. *slow breaths*

Ruby: *slow breaths*

Jaune: That's it.

Ruby: *sighs* I-I saw Blake again. We... were fighting, she injured my back, I- I killed her

But she.... she wouldn't die and then*small tears* she was... laughing.

Jaune: Now, now sweetie. Remember, it was just a dream.

Ruby: *pushes off* But what if it's not? What if it's an omen? That I'm supposed to kill Blake? I.... I haven't had a peaceful sleep in a long time. Everytime I close my eyes, I see her.... *clenches bedsheets*

Jaune: Listen, why don't I put on some tea and talk to Master Ozpin? He can help.

Ruby: You think that will work?

Jaune: If anyone knows the true nature of the Force, it's Master Ozpin. He hasn't steered us wrong before.

Ruby: *chuckles* I guess not.

Jaune: Alright then. Let me get that tea. *walks to the door*

Ruby: Jaune?

Jaune: *turns around* Hm?

Ruby: T-Thank you. *blushes*

Jaune: *smiles* No problem.

Jaune closed the door to Ruby's bedroom and walked to the kitchen. While the tea leaves were brewing, he pulled out his holoprojector and called Master Ozpin.

Jaune: Hello Master. I see you're keeping well.

Ozpin: I am indeed. How are you?

Jaune: I'm very good. I've just about managed to get used to living here. I've even learned how to cook.

Ozpin: Excellent work, and what about Ruby?

Jaune: Oh um... *sighs* she's not coping so well. The nightmares are getting worse.

Ozpin: I see.

Jaune: She's been more scared of herself lately. She's been trying to avoid sleeping altogether and barely touches her lightsaber.

Ozpin: It always starts with fear. That's first step towards the Dark Side.

Jaune: What can we do? Tell me, please! I don't- *shakes* I don't wanna lose her.

Ozpin: She will face Blake again. That is inevitable. But in order to do that, she must first face herself. Take her to the Umbara System.

Jaune: What?! But that planet's strong in the Dark Side! If it already has a grip on her now, then-

Ozpin: *raises hand* Jaune. Calm down. I understand your worry but it is necessary for her to do this. Ignoring it will only be giving into her darkest impulses and it will set her down a path she will not recover from.

Jaune: But- *clenches fist* You're right, Master.

Ozpin: You and I will accompany her to the planet and during the preliminary trials. But the final test is where she will be alone. You and I shall not interfere.

Jaune: Very well, Master. Thank you.

Ozpin: May the Force be with. *holoprojector shuts off*

Jaune took the pot away from the heater and poured the tea into the cups. He took them inside Ruby's room and placed them by her bed. He reached out and touched her hands.

Ruby: Hm? What is it, Jaune?

Jaune: You and I need to have a talk.

Blake sat in her chamber in a deep meditated state. She had been at this for nearly four days, without touching even a crumb of food or a drop of water. Her nose and ears twitched and her eyes opened up. Taking a deep breath, she stopped meditating and stood up. A small, sly grin formed on her lips. The Force had called to her.

Blake: You can't hide from me, Ruby.

"I've been researching this crystal for a long time, and it's unusual properties. Immortality in exchange for energy, which is a pretty fair deal if you ask me! I have a lot of other gems to tamper with, so I've been able to find a good energy distribution system to keep myself stable."

(OOC) I don't remember the inspo I used, but it's not too off from what I'd imagine Soleanna's fashion to be like. Of course, the royals and upper class have different clothes (and Babylonians are a whole different thing)

"I've been at odds with the royal family before the current king and queen inherited the throne. I've wanted the Sol Emeralds for over a century, and they know that. I want to research them, but they're locked away. Not to mention the boredom that comes with age. There's only so many magical crystals and artifacts I can get my hands on, and there's only so much I'm able to research. I like to spice things up a bit from time to time!"

(I just made these designs for this ask! Current ideas for names are Inferno the Caracal, and Char/Cinder the Cat. I'm indecisive about her name.)

Charmed by the Sea ch.2 - What if Yuu had a different form? - Megalodon

“A warning would’ve been nice about the taste.” She stuck her tongue out. “And why is everyone looking at me?”

“Your form...” Ash answered.

Yuu felt larger for some unknown reason, she looked over to the twins and raised an eyebrow at how small they looked. They both eyed her in whatever form she was in, while Ash and Ruby seemed to have backed up by a few inches. She glanced down at her body and jolted as she spotted her very long and large brown and white tail. The white underbelly stretched from the middle of her tail up to her chest. She grabbed her thick tail and felt along the caudal fin, the sandpaper like skin scratched at her fingers. Yuu turned her arms, seeing the long and thick brown fins attached to them.

Twisting her body around, she spotted a large dorsal fin attached to her back with a pair of smaller pelvic fins attached to her hips. Yuu took a few moments and glanced back down at the Leechs. All four of them were looking up at her, up at her. She placed her hands over her face and sighed.

"I'm a fucking megalodon..."

Floyd swam up to her and circled her waist with glee. "Uwah~ You're so big now, Shrimpy~"

Jade joined his brother. "I believe she's no longer a shrimpy."

Ash swam up to Yuu and lingered a few inches away. "That's incredible, you're a titan."

Ruby piped up from below. "And one of our ancient predators to boot!"

Floyd paused and stared hard at Yuu. "Wait... that means I can't squeeze ya... You're too big!" He pouted and wrapped his body around Yuu's arm. "This ain't fair!"

Jade laughed as he hovered near Yuu's head. "Now, now , Floyd. Miss Yuu can't help it if this is what the Sea Witch gave her."

"Yeah, and besides." Yuu effortlessly pried Floyd off her arm and held him in her hand. "That just means you have to watch your fins around me." She smiled, sharp teeth on full display as she eyed him.

Yuu watched as Floyd processed the position he was in. Mismatched eyes flicked down to her hand and then up to her face. His pupils engulfed his eyes and his tail started wagging. Floyd started wiggling with excitement while Jade moved down to settle himself in Yuu's other hand. She watched him curiously as he did a mini circle and sat in her upturned palm. His pupils followed what Floyd's had done as his tail unintentionally wrapped around her wrist.

"...Are you both enjoying this?"

"Gross." Grim settled himself on Yuu's shoulder in all his chubby tuna and catfish hybrid glory and crossed his arms. "Nasty."

Yuu raised them both up until they were at eye-level. "Do my eels like being held?"

"Yes." They both said simultaneously.

"Oh sevens..." Ash sighed and shook his head while Ruby started laughing.

Bonus: Jade and Floyd chill on Yuu when she swims around. These two are now the worse guilds cause they've both fallen asleep on her while she swims. But they also get a snack cause small fish flock to her in an attempt to stay hidden.
