Un fisco meno affamato — A quell’epoca l'Italia aveva un sistema fiscale meno complesso e meno oneroso rispetto a quello attuale. Le aliquote fiscali erano più basse e meno progressive rispetto a oggi. Inoltre, non esistevano molti dei contributi e delle imposte aggiuntive che oggi incidono sui redditi, come l'Irpef (Imposta sul Reddito delle Persone Fisiche) che è stata introdotta nel 1973. Quindi un insegnante nel 1960, con uno stipendio mensile di circa 70.000-80.000 lire lorde, poteva contare su una quota significativa del suo reddito, potenzialmente intorno a 60.000-65.000 lire nette al mese, una volta sottratte le imposte e i contributi sociali.

Perché nel 1971 Nixon ha sospeso la convertibilità in oro del dollaro, creando di fatto la valuta fiat, quella che non ha più un sottostante fisico (l'oro) e può essere stampata a piacimento.

Questo genera inflazione, che riduce il potere d'acquisto ed il valore del risparmio. Di conseguenza, lo stato ha la necessità di aumentare la tassazione per pagare il debito pubblico e i cittadini non hanno alcun interesse a risparmiare perché la moneta si svaluta continuamente. Ecco la vera causa del consumismo, dell'usa&getta, della bassa qualità dei prodotti e la fine del settore di ricerca e sviluppo delle industrie.

Oggi siamo arrivati all'epilogo di questa ruberia nelle nostre tasche da parte di quei camerieri dei banchieri che sono i politici.

Oggi esiste di nuovo una moneta che non si svaluta e che consente il risparmio, anzi si apprezza continuamente e aumenta il suo valore anno dopo anno. Una moneta che lo stato non può prelevare forzatamente dal conto corrente, che nessuno può censurare ed impedire di usarla, che garantisce la privacy e può essere usata in tutto il mondo.

Si chiama Bitcoin.

Adesso la scelta se essere schiavi delle banche o essere liberi e proprietari dei nostri soldi è tutta nelle nostre mani!

Plants and Animal phyla of Strix

Moon Sea

Viridia: these algae-like lifeforms exist in vast carpets over the surface of the Moon Sea, turning the water a vibrant blue-green. Despite their abundance, they are limited to the water and haven’t evolved into terrestrial forms. In the distant past, they had no predators and were able to flourish in huge quantities. After the arrival of the plant-eating Viatora from the Great Southern Sea, many species were decimated. Those that survived are quick to reproduce or produce toxins to keep themselves safe.

Plananamalia: referred to as “Plantimals”, this unusual phylum includes both sedentary and mobile species. These will be examined further along with the Ossaforms.

Great Southern Sea

Ruberia: the “true” plants of Strix, which live worldwide wherever there is water. Named for their vibrant red color, there are aquatic and land-based species. They seem to have evolved in the interconnected shallow pools that link to the Southern Aquifer. Those which live around the main Great Southern Sea must deal with constant darkness for half of the year, during which they lose their leaves to conserve energy. This allows them to survive even in harsh conditions, as they can shut down their metabolism for extended periods of time if resources are scarce, and thus they were able to spread across the world instead of being limited to their native sea. Most terrestrial species have needle-like leaves and thick, rotund trunks which store liquid in enlarged veins.

Viatora: Named after the Latin word for “traveler”, the origins of these creatures were initially a mystery, as fully aquatic forms can be found in both seas. Genetic analysis has since shown that they originated in the Southern Sea and evolved secondarily aquatic forms once reaching the Moon Sea. These centipede-like, many-legged creatures inhabit a huge variety of niches on Strix, from aquatic to terrestrial, elusive burrowers to flying species which form huge clouds of “air plankton”. In the Moon Sea, where they have few predators, some have grown to massive sizes and dominate the waters.

Crypticae: the depths of the two great subsurface seas are almost entirely unexplored. The soft-bodied, blind Crypticae are one of the only representatives from these aquatic caves to be formally described, as they occasionally venture up towards the surface in search of food. Resembling a pelagic sea slug, they fly through the waters with two fins, using a highly developed sense of smell to locate the bacterial mats that make up their diet. Because they are relatively inaccessible in their underground home, not much is known about them yet.

Ossaforms: the “bony” animals of Strix, which encompass both aquatic and terrestrial forms. We will be focusing on these as well as the Plananamalia.

15:39 Con Tonino e Antonio abbiamo fatto un sopralluogo per capire come elettrificare le pompe dei nuovi forages. L'impianto vecchio è completamente devastato con fili e tubi dissotterrati, cavi delle vecchie pompe tranciati, scatole elettriche aperte. L'acqua è garantita dai nuovi forages e per fortuna non manca sia per innaffiare sia per bere. La gente la attinge dagli chateau d'eau che sono regolarmente alimentati. Qualcuno si è inventato il lavoro dei consegna a domicilio dell'acqua. Intanto Mario. Timo e Taina stanno piazzando i nuovi pannelli fotovoltaici. Il caldo umido ha fatto schiudere le uova di ogni genere di insetti volanti: termiti, vespe, mosche strane, mini-coleotteri… uno spettacolo della natura un po' tanto fastidioso.

Beasts of Abigaile

A Wolf By Any Other Name Nina feels like she's entered a fairy tale after moving to the beautiful country of Ruberia. But the charm wears off quick when she gets bitten by a wolflike luga and becomes one herself! She's soon dragged off to the penitentiary academy known as Abigaile, where young luga learn how to serve humans. Her strong-willed attitude soon wrecks havoc on the academy's alpha-omega hierarchy, winning her a few friends, plenty of enemies—and maybe even a lover or two?! Will Nina ever make it home? Or will she remain a luga forever?

You might be familiar with the darker side of the shojo genre with titles such as Vampire Knight, Angel Sanctuary, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, or Tokyo Babylon. And if you’ve read/watched any of those you should know that they can have some really fucked up concepts. That’s kind of a warning in and of itself, but I’ll detail some proper trigger warnings at the bottom.

The art of this series is beautiful, and the protagonist, Nina, is quite chaotic. She’s constantly being like “FUCK YOU!” and then screaming internally (and externally) at the consequences of her asserting her sense of Justice. There’s a fairly large cast of supporting characters, and while not all of them get time to be fully fleshed out there are some standouts (Like Dario and Eva). The pacing towards the end feels a little rushed, but I have a hunch that this story perhaps was supposed to be longer (like seven volumes) and was cut short by performance/editors. It still manages to wrap things up tho, but leaves enough open ended that you could potentially play around in the universe’s sandbox if you like this world.

I normally don’t like wolf-themed media that uses the Greek alphabet hierarchy BS, but in this case it actually makes sense. The luga didn’t have this hierarchy when they were free; they had a more supportive family-like community. Now, in captivity they have so little and face so much abuse that they’re up against not just their human captors, but each other for resources to survive. The lowest among them are the most “useless” or the ones they feel share the most blame for their situation. Most of the luga are children who’ve grown up in this prison, too, after their parents were massacred 10 years ago. So they’re doing what they can with what they’ve got (which isn’t much).

Figuriamoci spostare avanti di un’ora le lancette dell’orologio quando ci ricordiamo di guardarlo! ⁣ Si, perché poi il rischio è proprio quello di entrare in questo ciclo di “metti la tuta togli il pigiama, togli il pigiama rimetti la tuta… und so weiter” dove nel migliore dei casi i rapporti sociali sono pressoché azzerati e nel peggiore diventano insostenibili, per la vicinanza coatta a persone con le quali si scopre di non essere proprio affini, se non per qualche ora al giorno. Se poi aggiungiamo la tendenza a non prendersi tanta cura del proprio aspetto e della propria forma fisica (che è facile sprofondare sul divano davanti a interminabili ciance televisive e mangiare senza orari né criterio), si capisce bene che la situazione può davvero sfuggire di mano, alla luce anche del nuovo termine dei domiciliari ⁣ Fortunatamente noi siamo tra quelli più fortunati. Stare assieme non ci basterebbe mai e anche se non si può uscire, dalla finestra si gode di un panorama indescrivibile, ora che si avvicina la primavera, e di un’aria che ora è così pulita da far quasi male agli alveoli. Per la TV? Pochi minuti al giorno!
