Hello! I've recently taken the plunge and downloaded Ridgeside village for one of my save files. I'm enjoying it so far and I am eyeing some of the romanceable candidates 👀.
So I was wondering, you know the ask a while back about the farmer being oblivious to all of the bachelor and bachelorette's being in love with them? Could you do the same with the Ridgeside characters? And maybe expanded?
Eyyyyy glad you liked the Ridgeside Village mod, dear anon ☺️
I've added both SVE and RSV candidates as well. Sorry if the headcanon came out a bit stilted (wasn't sure what the best format was lol). Thanks for the ask and enjoy 💕
RSV bachelors/ettes with oblivious Farmer:
After the young Pelican Town candidates failed miserably to win the heart of Farmer, who must be the most oblivious person in the world, the bachelors and bachelorettes of Ridgeside Village decided that their time had finally come. They're the ones who can get the Farmer's attention, aren't they? Oh, but they didn't, because they didn't count on two things.
First, there were still competitors in Pelican Town - it was just that the other residents hadn't immediately joined the "hunt". Although Sophia and Victor weren't even sure what was even going on, they just wanted to spend more time with their friend Farmer. Victor, however, tried to give a couple compliments, but the gist of the content of his words apparently didn't get through to Farmer. It's a shame of course, but both Sophia and Victor just get over it and just switch to their own lives (and maybe even each other). Claire also threw a loving glance in the direction of the eternally energetic Farmer, but due to uncertainty and constant fatigue she decided that she had almost no chance (it's not true, but *sigh*). Olivia, of course, could show all these young amateurs how to properly compliment and hint at the object of their affection, but feels it's not her age to go after Farmer. She will respect Farmer's choice, and may even push Victor toward Farmer a little bit so that her son will be more confident.
Second, Ridgeside Village residents doesn't really realize how painfully oblivious Farmer is. All the advances and compliments the Farmer (unknowingly) dodges like a spy film protagonist dodges enemy bullets and lasers. And Jeric and Blair will be the first to question their own flirting abilities. Maybe they should have been more.... assertive?
Standing nearby the restaurant, Corine, Ysabelle and Paula greeted the Farmer more flirtatiously, asking to spend time with them just a little bit more. The girls decided to play fair: to whom the Farmer would pay more attention - the winner. Except that Farmer thanked "their good friends for the compliments" and ran off on their farming business, leaving girls in shock. Paula at least laughed at the comicality of the situation.
Faye and Irene thought that the way to the Farmer's heart was through their stomach, so when the girls found out what were the favourite dishes of the daredevil of the entire Stardew Valley, they immediately began the preparation. The Farmer thanked them not with dates, as the two girls had hoped, but with... fresh fruit from the greenhouse. Shit. Okay, well, at least the fruit is delicious. Bryle, passing by, decided to tease Faye and show her the "real master of pick-up", since he himself had had his eye on Farmer for a long time. A complete fiasco, as you might expect, causing Faye herself to start laughing at her friend's failure. The two will then argue again (but will become a couple in the future, but that's another story).
Anton... Doesn't even look in the Farmer's direction. He wants to try, wants to give them at least one good compliment, but... Why? So that Farmer will be disappointed in him like his ex-fiancée? No, Anton won't risk their friendship for that.
Apparently Yoba itself (or other magical forces) are protecting Farmer from flirting, because there's no way they couldn't pick up on Daia's hints. The girl is almost directly flirting, proposing to become something more, trying to kiss and, pardon my language, "get them into the nearest bush for some fun." "Into the bushes? Maybe we'll find a cute bunny there!" ....Bunny, huh.
But that's at least some effort, though, because Jio didn't come up with anything better at all than to express his flirtation in the form of... completely ignoring Farmer. Like, the more he ignores them, the more interested they'll be in him. Weird logic, and then the grumpy will have a face like "Wait, that's illegal" meme when Farmer ignores his ignore (and Kiwi is now constantly teasing him).
Ian, Kenneth, Phillip and Shiro decide not to act without haste, but to learn from the mistakes of other candidates who have failed on the love front. Slowly but surely, they try to spend more time with Farmer without making any drastic moves yet. And honestly, even if they too fail to endear themselves to Farmer, a caring and loyal friend would be enough for them. Sean also wanted to take leisurely steps at first, but he didn't have the patience and so he heads to the bench with the other losers. Better luck next time!
Zayne is a rather well-mannered young man, and he is not going to impose his company on anyone without their desire. If the Farmers themselves approach him, then he will try to make small talk and apply all his knowledge of flirting. It's a similar situation with June, but he may be a little more stubborn as he, unlike the others, has limited time and will be less likely to do so when he goes back for two whole seasons.
Flor, Alissa and Maddie are pretty shy in that regard, so they'll leave the flirting and sighing heavily when Farmer walks by. It's just that Farmer is a very close friend to them all, and to demand anything more from them is somehow wrong. If only they would notice... *Sigh*
For Kiarra, the best way is to be herself: no intrusive flirting, no those innuendos. Just have a nice time with a (so far) friend and not worry about anything. And then - just ask Farmer straight out. Do they want to date? Yay, Farmer and Kiarra have become a couple. They don't want to date? Yay, Farmer and Kiarra remain best friends. It's simple.
Magnus, who decided to introduce Lance to Mr. Aguar, became unwitting spectators of an oblivious Farmer being chased by a crowd of admirers. It's a funny situation, really. Heh, maybe Magnus would have joined them, but he decided to let fate take its course. If he's meant to be with Farmer in this dimension, then so be it, but if not, well, just suck it up and move on. Lance, on the other hand, believes he's in charge of his own destiny, and his sly smile suggests that he'll take matters into his own hands once the competition has died down. He has a couple of trump cards up his sleeve....
...............
And somewhere nearby, the much-admired Lenny is sitting on a bench, eating popcorn and watching the whole thing like a favourite comedy show. "Huh, and they said there'd be no fun in old age!".

rsv marriage candidates and whether they can drive
why? bc i'm bored... feel free to send me any other prompts if you have them!
alissa: no, but she occasionally drives her dad's truck around the orchard for chores.
anton: yes, but his car has been broken down for months now, and instead of getting it fixed, he's just been mooching rides off his siblings.
blair: nope! she just gets her mom or sean to drive her places instead~
bryle: absolutely - he's certified to drive cars, trucks, motorcycles, and armored vehicles.
corine: yep! feel free to call her if you ever need a ride, okay? :) (seriously, you can call her at like 3 am and she'll be there, no questions asked.)
daia: no, but luckily she's a master at guilting people into offering her rides - the world is her uber.
faye: got her license only recently after having hired drivers most of her life... she's the type to obliviously cut across three lanes of highway traffic to her exit with a bumper sticker that says "silly goose on board".
flor: yes, when she has to... but if anyone honks at her she *will* pull onto the shoulder to cry
ian: no - he can't pass the written test...
irene: yes, and she's also an avid collector of cute bumper stickers! this one is a strawberry with a smiley face!
jeric: well, he has his motorcycle license... why, you want a ride? ;)
jio: jio doesn't know what cars are.
june: um, no? what do you take him for, a str*ight???
kenneth: yes, but he's more interested in building motor vehicles than driving them...
kiarra: yup. she drives an old subaru outback with a zillion bumper stickers that say stuff like "support your local pollinators" and "no human being is illegal". oh, and her car's name is sally ride.
maddie: yes... but she road-rages like overworked ex-military trucker. do not ride with her unless you've made your peace with god.
paula: not only does she have her license, she's one of the best drivers you'll ever meet. (years of driving MEVs across gotoro battlefields will give you that.)
philip: yes - his dream car is the incredicar, as seen in the first movie adaptation of incrediman, "incrediman vs. the royal serpent" - but right now he drives a handicap-accessible minivan, yknow, for work...
sean: yeah, he has a truck he can use for work stuff - but don't look in the backseat. it's littered with empty gatorade bottles and fruit gummy bags.
shiro: no... but he used to...
ysabelle: nope. hashtag corine's passenger princess 4 lyfe ^^
zayne: a license? like the chauffeurs have? why would he need that??

note: while i drew this portrait from scratch, the art style itself is by shie, who made a wonderful portrait mod for the stardew valley characters that i'm trying to add on to for the RSV characters.
irene's base portrait is done :) i still need to do the rest of her expressions, and her other two outfits, but i'm happy that i've made some actual progress on something because i feel like i've been going through a huge art block since last month. i'm working on shiro as well, but it's taking me a lot longer because i'm not very experienced at drawing men to be honest...
when he's done, i'm going to move onto zayne, and then... i should probably do faye and bryle as well, because i definitely won't be done with the other bachelors by the time their update is released, but i'd like to release the mod with all the bachelorettes complete at least... but also i can't just leave zayne and bryle for later because them and the other two girls are kind of a package deal, right? that's my thought process here.
i haven't posted anything for ages, mainly because somebody reblogged one of my drawings with a really nice comment and i felt too shy to respond (if they're by any chance reading this, i'm sorry, i'm still working up the courage to thank you properly!!).

He'll be interesting for sure!
2.3 RSV Spoilers below:
In the mean time I'll just enjoy the enemies to lovers/fake dating trope he's got going on with Faye 😆
Happy for my girl. She was the first friend I made in Ridgeside.
I've been posting a lot about Maive and Zayne, but I also gotta give a shout out to Bryle bc every single one of his events so far is just me going

- This is the only tumblr blog that I posted arts + sketches, along with occasional yaps here and there about my Char x OCs.
Before you followed me, here’s few things to note:
- This blog will contains Char x OC ships in Stardew Valley, if this is not your cup of tea please feel free to block/mute/ignore this account ✌️✨
- Absolutely no minors allowed ✋🛑, though I don’t post it often, there might be slight suggestive themes in my posts from time to time so be aware.
- I’m really strict with my dynamics in ships and shipping in general, so absolutely no switching + mentioning other couple please 😔✋
- My writings or my characterizations on certain SV characters might be a bit different/OOC so keep in mind KSGSGAG (I mostly writes to be silly and enjoy my fantasy ill be fr 😔✌️)
Side notes/A few extra things:
My current favorites are:
- Base game: Sebastian, Shane, Emily and Sandy
- SV Expanded: Lance, Isaac, and Jadu

Tbh I like most characters (EXCEPT CLINT, LEWIS AND JOJA RAHGHGH 👹👹👹), but I’ll be real Lance and Isaac are currently the two that gives the sparks for me the most right now hehe🧍‍♂️✨✨
My main farmers + their spouses/bfs, along with their infos. (i will have tags for each of them so djb ✌️✨ )

Mousey, I'm sure you've done the reaction of the vanilla and expanded spouses to the farmer's curse from Mr. Qi, but how about the rsv spouses? I'd be curious to see what they'd do about it ~~especially you know who *wink wink nudge nudge*~~ Also ngl I've been trying to come up with more silly ships with the vanilla and mod characters and having a blast in my mind. I've been throwing in Isaac, Jadu, Camilla, and Alesia there too for good measure because I think Isaac especially would suffer with certain characters 😂 istg it's like I'm a dog and he's my chewing toy
Hehee, I wouldn't mind hearing what other funny ships you have in mind 👀👀👀
Sorry for a long reply, it turned out WAY more than I had planned. Anyway, enjoy some headcanon, Lotus! And have a great day! 💕
RSV spouses react to the Qi fruit:
_________________________________________
Ian had been standing still for about two minutes now, keeping his eyes on the strange blue fruit that was ripening in the Farmer's seedbed. Because he could have sworn that the fruit winked at him.... with 'glasses'! And the handyman thought he'd seen it again. But at the third minute, Ian gave up and reckoned he was just wasting time. "I really don't understand anything about farming," Ian told Farmer, kissed them, and went to work.
Daia isn't the type to be surprised by strange magical fruits, flowers and berries. The Ridge Forest alone is filled with interesting plants with unusual properties. But this 'Qi' fruit... Hmph, even she hadn't seen anything like it. Being around this smirking blue fruit makes the ninja feel a tingling sensation on her skin - a sure sign that magic is involved. Oh, she can't wait to ask her dear Farmer to give her the fruit to examine, because she's so curious about it! She wondered if it would interest her Lady too...
"Wow... I knew you are a true professional at farming, hon, but to do something like this..." Honestly, Jeric was delighted at what his partner had grown and horrified at what his partner had grown. Because on the one hand - fruit with a face and sunglasses, that's awesome! And on the other hand.... why? He certainly wouldn't have imagined something like this on his own little farm in Ridgeside Village. And it's unlikely he had the knowledge to grow something like this. "....So, what does it taste like?"
Bryle was ashamed to admit it, but the first thing he did when he stepped onto the farmhouse porch was reflexively draw his service weapon and prepare to defend himself. Because the Governor's slightly sleepy bodyguard mistook the blue-faced crops in sunglasses for invaders or even dark spirits. Having already recovered from his shock and seeing the calm Farmer watering this very crop, Bryle felt that by asking what it was, he would get more questions than answers. So he was like: "Nope, not today" and went back to the farmhouse.
When some time ago Irene had only seen the sprouts with the not yet formed blue fruit, she was even intrigued to see what kind of 'unusual fruit' Farmer had planted and what the crop would taste like. Sweet, or maybe with sour notes? Only when she got the ripe fruit on the kitchen table, the Amethyne's personal chef was no longer so enthusiastic. This... fruits looks like a head and was looking at her. Irene's afraid to even touch the 'Qi' fruit, much less taste it. Her Madame would definitely not want such an.... exotic crop for dinner.
Sean decided it would be a hilarious to wreak havoc in the local social media groups with this fruit. So, with Farmer's permission, he took a picture of the ripened 'Qi fruit', posted the picture to social media without any description, and waited. An hour and a half in and Sean and Farmer were dying of laughter reading people's reactions, all sorts of conspiracy about the harvest and even memes (lol). He was also hoping someone would leave a comment about what the fruit was, because Farmer's explanation of "blue fruit from blue seeds from a blue man" wasn't a very clear answer.
"Alissa, my dear. What is this?" Alissa can't give a clear answer to her mother when she shows her the unusual fruit. It seems to Alissa that her dear spouse Farmer themself does not know the answer to this question. The girl was utterly perplexed, and neither her own knowledge of farming, nor a single book from the library about crops, helped her to find the answer. She hoped that Farmer had not used something harmful to grow this fruit...
"What's this abomination growing in your garden? Why is there foreign magic coming from that thing?" Jio is in full earnest preparing for a defensive pose with his katana, because that 'Qi' fruit looks like it's about to pounce on him and Farmer. Elf doesn't trust this crop, whatever it is in the first place. And when asked how Farmer grew this stuff in the first place, the answer struck Jio like lightning. "You... took strange seeds from a suspicious man and thought it would be a great idea to plant them?" Yeah, It's going to be a long conversation...
Not even strength and persuasion from Farmer will be enough to keep their spouse Maddie from her determination to get into the Water Research Facility & Laboratory with this strange fruit. Because the ginger girl has to find out what it is in the first place! After all, the lab assistant was also watching the process of the Qi fruit's growth, for she was curious about what Farmer was growing. And when the already ripe fruit showed its face with sunglasses, Maddie wants to show it to Aguar to see how to even classify it. Sigh, not Aguar, if he found out there was magic involved...
"Whoa... So creepy... It's like some kind of comic book villain." Phillip kept twisting and twisting the "Qi" fruit in his hands, looking at the "face" of the crop, and even tried to take off the "glasses". It didn't work, however, because it was like they were super glued on. Oh, well. And although the physical therapist is eager to find out what this miracle fruit tastes like, he still wants to take precautions and find some information about the Qi fruit, because maybe it's poisonous???
Blair nearly died laughing when she saw the face of the ripe blue fruit. "Yoba, what a bogeyman!" And how on earth did her partner Farmer manage to grow a fruit with a face like that? Oh, she wants to take a few if Farmer agrees. To taste it? No, the young fisherwoman had thought of a more fun use for this crop.... Such an ugly fruit would definitely be a good way to prank Keahi for the last prank, hee hee hee... Just a harmless joke, Blair promises!
...Anton thought at first that he hadn't fully woken up in the morning, and that he had just imagined a blue face on the kitchen table. Except that when the architect came back from the bathroom already fresh and invigorated from a cold shower, the face had not disappeared from the kitchen table. ...Ok, and then what? How should he even react? And should he even be reacting to this? Because Farmer is not perplexed by the strange fruit in any way, they treat it like a normal apple or banana. ...Alright, then. Anton silently hopes he doesn't get "sunglasses" from this fruit in his portion of salad.
Well done, Farmer, just great! Making Flor nearly faint because they decided to put some ripe Qi fruit on the dinner table before going to bed, without warning the red-haired spouse for doing so. The poor, sleepy girl wanted to drink a glass of water at midnight, but she ended up throwing it all on the floor and screaming, mistaking the fruit for human heads. Now Farmer is ashamed now... And rightly so - they shouldn't scare Flor like that!
Kiarra's face twisted at what she saw. "Honey, you didn't use any fertiliser or seeds from Joja, right? You didn't take anything from them?" Her first guess as to the origin of this strange fruit was immediately the much disliked greedy company with the blue logo. Joja always like to spoil pump vegetables and fruits with all sorts of harmful substances of unknown origin to make them bigger, and as a consequence - to sell them for more money. Even when Farmer explained to her that it wasn't Joja, the girl still remained sceptical. Because it's... not natural. Something is wrong.
Zayne thought that it would be at least tactless and rude of him to voice his first thought out loud when Farmer presented them with the 'fruit of their labours'. Especially since he loved his spouse and knew what a wonderful farmer they are, unrivalled in the entire Republic. But... What is it? The Amethyne family heir has seen some rather unusual and sometimes even strange delicacies on his own dinner table and on the tables of other noble families. But a fruit with a face... Someone, who apparently ordered Farmer to grow the fruit just so, has... a very specific flavour.
"Ew," was Ysabelle's only reaction, and to be honest - many would have agreed with her conclusion about the blue fruit with the snickering face and sunglasses. Even Farmer didn't argue with their partner's opinion about it. Really, ew (no offence, Mr. Qi). The girl simultaneously wants to ask what this fruit is and doesn't want to know anything about it, figuring it will be further questions than answers. People in the hotel have demanded stranger foods and delicacies, so the blue face fruit isn't too much of a shock to her. But still - ew.
"Hmm, why the face?" How does Farmer know, Paula? When they took the assignment from a, ahem, familiar person, they had no idea that the 'Qi fruit' would turn out to be exactly like this - a bit creepy, with a human face (but cool glasses!). The military medic wasn't too surprised by this weird crop (she'd seen much stranger food), and if the fruit wasn't poisonous and wasn't an allergy sufferer's worst nightmare, why not give it a try. "Heh, I wonder if anyone would dare to try this food on a dare"
"No, thank you, my soul. I'm good with an apple," June politely declined as Farmer, having harvested a ripe crop from the greenhouse, brought June a whole basket of different fruits and berries from all seasons to the farmhouse. His favourite apples, strawberries, oranges, pomegranate, a blue fruit with a face- Wait, what? Did he see that right? Yeah, the pianist's eyesight was not deceiving him. Later, he'll be asking Farmer questions about the blue weird fruit. In the meantime, he just wants to enjoy the apple.
When Faye thought of fresh fruit salad, she imagined cutting up a juicy and sweet mango, a ripe, with the sour notes pineapple, a delicious banana, and fill it up it with fresh orange juice. And at the sight of the Qi fruit, the waitress honestly lost her appetite. Is it... really a fruit? Why does it look so scary? It's also smiling... Oh, yuck! Farmer, that fruit winked at her! Brrr! No weird blue fruits on the dinning table, they're scary!
Shiro jumped up sharply, almost scalding hot, when he saw a field of a hundred blue smiling heads from the porch. Everywhere he turned his head, there they were: smiling, the light bouncing off their... Glasses? What the hell is that, anyway? "People want to buy fruit like that? With a scary face?" No, he's not going to try it, and the Farmer isn't advised to either. It doesn't look good, and it probably doesn't taste good anyway- No, Farmer, making this 'Qi' fruit into a smoothie isn't a good idea either... Just don't, please.
Corine never thought people could come up with something like this with crop. Well, she'd seen square watermelons, heart-shaped pears, and even star-shaped peaches on TV. But a melon-sized blue fruit that also had a human face..... Even she didn't expect that. Really, she doesn't understand why the Farmer glued it on. "Oh, I didn't glue the glasses on, dear, they grew with the fruit!" Sorry, the glasses did what?
"No offence, dear, but I'll probably pass." Oh, Farmer didn't grow this fruit for food, but for someone personally? Whew, what a relief... Um, Kenneth didn't mean to be rude or offend Farmer in any way, but the mere thought of that Qi fruit that very much resembled a head being cut with a knife made him cringe and disgusted. The inventor doesn't understand who needs fruit grown in this way, but he's not good at farming, so Kenneth will leave the matter to his spouse.

i think one of my favorite things i've seen online are couples that will gift their partners bouquets made of artificial, handmade flowers (such as being made of metal, cloth, or similar materials) and tell their partners that "when this flower dies i'll stop loving you"; considering the plant is fake, it will never die, and so they'll never stop loving. i think it's incredibly cute and sweet, even if initially it takes you off-guard if you don't process it properly LMFAO.
anyways, what about some headcanons with the bachelorettes (RSV + vanilla) about the farmer gifting them that when asking them out?
Oh, I've heard of this before. Usually it was the gift of a single rose, and the speech that it, like the giver's love for the recipient, would never wither. Pretty sweet, although a bit too sweet for me, to be honest 😅 If I was given a bouquet of goodies and snacks, that's what I'd be talking about 😁
Very cute idea though, thanks so much, dear anon, for the ask! 💕
_________________________________________
Stardew Valley:
Farmer thought at first that they had somehow broken Penny with their speech, for the girl froze in place without making a sound. But then they heard a sob from her, and were almost knocked down by a sharp embrace. Penny had never received anything like this before... *sniff* "Thank you, Farmer..." The teacher just overflowed with emotion, mostly happiness.
Oh, how touching and romantic! Emily had heard about this new tradition, and always thought it was a very beautiful symbol. And you can see that Farmer has put their creativity, strength and soul into this bouquet, which the blue-haired girl will cherish like a treasure. She will kiss her (already now) partner for such a gift.
Maru was also the kind of person who decided to give her friends and family unusual gifts with symbolism. More often than not, small inventions with messages. But roses that would never wilt was also a very lovely idea that melted the young ingenuity's heart instantly. Who would have thought that Farmer was such a romantic!
"Oh, stop it, you~" Though it seems like Abigail was complaining about so cheesy Farmer, there wasn't an ounce of dissatisfaction in her voice. Quite the opposite, the girl's heart began to beat even harder at the realisation that her crush had reciprocated her feelings, also proving the seriousness of their intentions with such an unusual bouquet. Of course she would accept.
It was probably the first time Haley had ever been so smitten that she couldn't get a word out. She'd had a bunch of admirers before, a whole line of them, but none of them had ever done anything like this to her. The girl's face would be as red as a tomato and she would turn away slightly, but then look at Farmer again with a tender and loving gaze before agreeing to date.
Leah laughed after Farmer finished their speech. "All poets around me," the artist thought, but her cheeks were burning with fire as this gesture is really very romantic and she had had feelings for Farmer for a long time. So lest the hopeless romantic should take her laughter as something wrong, the red-haired artiste kissed them, accepting their proposal to date.
Ridgeside Village:
There's about half a minute of silence before Irene makes a sound like the whistle of a boiling kettle. You'll have to excuse her, but she's just been secretly having a crash on Farmer for a month now, and the way they invited her over and gave her such a gift was beyond her dreams. It was just like a fairy tale...
"Yeah yeah, very funny, haha. Great prank." But with every passing second, Maddie realised that Farmer had said it in complete seriousness. The unique bouquet the young lab technician was holding was already adorned with a little dew that dripped from her eyes. Is this... really what's happening?
Kiarra had been so absorbed in her new design projects lately that she didn't realise the meaning of Farmer's words when they came to visit her. She woke up with a beautiful handmade bouquet of flowers in her hands (and a very cool one at that, Farmer is a master at everything!), and only now she realised that Farmer had just asked her out. That's so... She... She's said yes.
Flor felt her cheeks blush, and the first thing the red-haired teacher did was to hide her face behind her book. Both the bouquet itself, and Farmer's speech, touched her so much that she did not know what to reply. The whole thing had rendered her speechless...
"Is it.... really for me?" Of course it's for you, Alissa, why are you asking this? Farmer literally confessed their love for you, then gave you a bouquet of handmade flowers to symbolise their love for you. Even the flowers are Alissa's favourite - Aurorean Iris. So yes, Alissa, this is for you.
Even the customers who stood near the cash register of Pika's restaurant did not dare to interfere with their orders to Corine, who stood speechless and with the symbolic bouquet in her hands. Farmer almost regretted choosing a crowded place, not wanting to put the girl under pressure. But Corine accepted the flowers with a smile, calling Farmer a hopeless romantic- Oh wait, visitors!
Faye thought that Farmer had invited her to another friendly dinner at Pika's. Except that Farmer went from pleasant reminiscences to saying that they cared for the girl, and handed her a bouquet made by their own hand, explaining the meaning of the gift. Had it not been for the table, Faye would have been ready to throw herself into Farmer's arms.
"Ah, aren't you cute~" The slight teasing was expected by Farmer (after all, that was one of Daia's appealing qualities). But what Farmer definitely didn't expect were the tears on the girl's cheeks. No one had ever given her... any gifts at all, and this. Heh, how lucky she was to have met such a friend- no, not a friend anymore, something more.
"Heh, so I predicted the future, didn't I? Maybe I should become a clairvoyant, give predictions." Blair tried to make a little joke, but she was so full of joy that she couldn't get any more words out of her mouth. It was a bouquet she would definitely put in a prominent place to remember the night Farmer had told her they loved her.
When Farmer finished their speech, Ysabelle was calm, reciprocated their feelings and accepted this unique bouquet. But as soon as Farmer distinguished themself for a moment, the girl almost jumped to the ceiling with happiness, doing pirouettes and twirling all over the hotel lobby. A bouquet that would never wilt, a love that would never fade away. Ah~
A gentle embrace, a look full of embarrassment and love, a light kiss on the cheek - Farmer was afraid that Paula would perceive their bouquet and gesture as too pathos, but the girl didn't show them a single sign that she was bored with this whole event. The military doctor only gratefully accepted the gift, examining every detail of the fake flower petal, and shifting her gentle gaze to Farmer again.

_________________________________________
Working hard to provide for themself and their siblings? How Ian understands Farmer, and grown to respect them. He himself gives almost all earnings so that his dear sister can choose where she will be educated. The handyman is usually always busy, but wouldn't mind chatting with Farmer about the family, and maybe even have his sister come to visit and meet Farmer's siblings.
Hmm, yes, Jio knows that the old farmer had many grandchildren, but it was the eldest that got the farm in the Stardew Valley. But grumpy elf hadn't shown much more interest, except that there were orders from his Lady to keep an eye on them if any of Farmer's brothers or sisters started venturing into the dangerous Ridge forest. After all, young people could be so careless...
New audiences, hmm? June is pleased to realise that young people are enthralled by his piano playing. Farmer and their brother/sister don't miss any of his plays in Hotel, and the younger of the siblings always applauds enthusiastically for the talented musician. Well, June thinks it's okay to play something else since the audience is asking nicely for it.
All Farmer siblings know that when they accidentally hurt themselves in Ridgeside Village, they should immediately turn to the kindly Dr Paula for help: she will quickly treat their wounds, calm them down, and even stick a cool band-aid with their favourite superhero. It's a pleasure to go to such a doctor! But sometimes Paula can shake her head disapprovingly (while holding back laughter), because Farmer sisters have started pretending to be sick in order to spend time with the doctor and get another cool band-aid.
Irene always has something nice and yummy pastry for the lovely children who come to visit the estate with their older brother/sister. Especially since all the kids are real angels, always polite, and bring her a bouquet of flowers as a gift. Ah, what little darlings! And Farmer does an excellent job in protecting and caring for them.
Farmer has to check on their siblings at times when they're done socialising with Daia. Not that they think the ninja will hurt the kids, not at all. But she acts like that cool (according to the kids) aunt who spoils all the time, allows everything, gives pocket money and gifts of dubious origin (ah yes, the "toy" katana). And yet, if they get into trouble, Daia will protect them, because Farmer is her friend, and their siblings are already like family to her.
The constant running of children in the main square reminded Anton of his carefree youth, when he and Paula used to play catch-up as well. Sigh, what a wonderful time it had been..... Although he is now quite depressed about the mistakes of the past, the kind children will always make Anton smile, at least for a few minutes. Well done, Farmer - the farm is watched, and family is protected.
"Blair will always teach only great things," said the young fisherwoman with a sly smile, explaining to Farmer's sisters and brothers when to jump out of the bushes to scare the passing "victims" of her next ingenious prank. Well, at least the kids have something to do while their older sibling shops for seeds and runs errands for the residents of Ridgeside Village.
Zayne had already settled into his home since his arrival, and was eager to meet Farmer and their siblings. His Grandmother had told him that her late friend's eldest grandchild had managed to do a lot for the village, and that their siblings (though noisy) were quite decent and good children. And it was true - Zayne had had a lot of fun getting to know them and socialising with them.
Don't think Maddie doesn't like children, it's not true. And that incident when Farmer's brothers/sisters accidentally scared her, causing her to drop the papers she needed for work, was just an isolated incident when the young lab assistant raised her voice. Especially since the kids immediately apologised for the misdemeanour and helped the ginger girl gather up all her things. Nice kids, Maddie thinks, just very energetic and noisy at times.
Good Uncle Jeric will always welcome his Farmer friend (and rival!) with open arms, along with their cool siblings. Always hospitable, he treats them to fresh fruit and berries, lets them pet Turbo and even give him a yummy treat. Just a little bit so his horse doesn't get too spoilt, haha! All in all, the kids love Jeric, and he's always happy to see Farmer's little brothers and sisters on his little farm.
Does Sean have a moment to chat or play with Farmer's sister/brother? Heck yeah! He's just finishing up an errand for Ian and would like to take his mind off work for a bit. So how are things on the farm? What's new in Pelican Town? He wouldn't mind visiting friends in the neighbouring town, and having fun with the kids again.
Ysabelle was quite neutral about the hotel guests. Yes, Farmer had visited her grandfather's establishment with their siblings, and she would be welcoming and ask how they were doing. But... No more than that, she's still busy with work after all, so she can't be distracted. So many people are staying at the hotel!
Who wants a refreshing cool drink from Faye? Of course Farmer's cool siblings want one, look at the glitter in their eyes! So excited! Second waitress and assistant in Pika's restaurant is very happy to greet the Pelican Town guests, dispensing their orders.
With the poise of a watchful noble dog, Bryle stoically endures all the requests and pleas of Farmer's siblings to show them his "super cool gun". It's not a toy, and he's tried to explain to them what times. They're great listeners when the Governor's bodyguard told the kids about some of his most memorable incidents on the job. But no, he won't be showing his service weapon. Period. And puppy dog eyes won't help here, although Farmer's siblings are trying hard.
Oh, Farmer's brothers and sisters visited the Nightingale Orchard? Just a second, Alissa has a couple of freshly plucked, juicy cherry pluots for them. Oh, what- They want to hear her sing??? Oh dear, um.... she's confused, Alissa doesn't think she sings as well as the kids think..... Okay, okay, well... Alright, for the kids', but it will be a secret, deal?
A banana milkshake each from Corine, so that the lovely Farmer siblings wouldn't stop her from serving Pika's food to the other customers while their oldest brother/sister went off to get the promised groceries for the restaurant owner and chef. And so, when the waitress is on her lunch break or the end of her shift, she doesn't mind hearing the latest news from the children in the Stardew Valley and on their farm.
Flor tries to give all the children the attention they deserve when it comes to learning. It became a little more difficult, because Farmer's little brothers and sisters were added to her usual group, but they are quite intelligent and obedient students, listening attentively to the lectures of the red-haired teacher. So gifted and full of interest in knowledge - real prodigies!
Philip is happy to share his new comics with Farmer's siblings, since they are also fans of his favourite franchise. The therapist's heart was especially touched by the gifts from the children - a bunch of drawings of his favourite sci-fi comic book characters. The kids clearly have talent! He will definitely keep their gifts in a special box so they won't go to waste. And won't forget to give them branded stickers or other cool trinkets based on their favourite fandom in return.
"Do you have games on your laptop?" is probably the most frequent question addressed to Kiarra from the brother/sister of her friend Farmer. The graphic designer wanted to show Farmer's sibling her living room model that she has created, but they seem to be more interested in watching her play solitaire on the laptop screen or playing marbles. Oh well...
Shiro would like to introduce Farmer's siblings to his little brother Yuuma, hoping they can become friends and play together. The kids clearly want to get to know each other, it's just that Shiro is a little afraid that his little brother will refuse, explaining that he has a lot to do and don't have time for games. Good thing that Farmer's siblings are as determined as their oldest is, and help Yuuma get some rest after all.
What Kenneth hadn't expected when he left his house in the early morning was the squatting children surrounding his robot on all sides. Oh, they were Farmer's siblings, probably his friend and their family had decided to visit the Village on business. But apparently this kids were more enthusiastic about Kenneth's invention, for they did not take their eyes off the beeping machine. Until the electrician drew the children's attention, and they happily surrounded Kenneth from all sides, asking him about his other inventions.

Saw your post about how the singles from vanilla and expanded flirt, and here comes the obligatory ask about the guys and gals from rsv! 😜
Here you go, Lotus ☺️ thank you for the ask!
How well Ridgeside Village bachelors/ettes flirt with the Farmer:
Ridgeside Village bachelors (+unlovable):
Oh, poor Ian doesn't know what to do with his feelings. He tries to compliment them, to start a conversation, he even asks Sean for advice, but as soon as he opens his mouth in front of the Farmer, the words stick in his throat and his cheeks turn red. Sure, Ian occasionally gives Farmer wooden figurines he's made himself and always smiles genuinely at their appearance, but it's a bit difficult for him to flirt. 5/10, he's really trying, give this kind and shy fella a chance.
June's situation is quite interesting. The talented pianist will easily start a dialogue with the object of his adoration, but sometimes conversations can go so far that June forgot that he invited Farmer for a cup of coffee to ask if they were single, and ended up giving a whole lecture about the proper roasting of coffee beans. If Farmer didn't find these stories boring, but rather the opposite, June will be able to seduce Farmer with good flirt, and they'll both wait half a season for the two of them to go on a date again. 7/10.
Like a noble prince from famous fairy tales about beauties (well, technically, he is a prince), Zayne will demonstrate a real art in sophisticated flirting. The young man is very well-mannered, kind, a bit modest and always polite, so it won't be difficult for him to seduce the object of his affection. 9/10, almost perfect!
All right kids, stand back. For now Jeric is about to show that he is the master of the successful compliment! The young farmer and fancy dress enthusiast has a natural charm that few can resist. At times he may blush a little in front of Farmer and forget what he wanted to say, but for the most part he's a very good flirt. 7/10, very good.
I'm sorry Jio, but you won't win Farmer's favour with constant snapping and all sorts of rude words. And it would be justified (not really) if he and Farmer were strangers, but Farmer is almost going to give him a bouquet, and the grumpy elf sends them away. Sure, he'll shower the Farmer with compliments in Elvish and show his soft side. But before that... 0/10, no offence, Jio. Sharp-eared tsundere bitch.
Even with his injury, Shiro doesn't miss the opportunity to invite Farmer for a walk on the beach, where he shows them his heartfelt flirtation. Shiro really enjoys Farmer's company, finding them to be a very attractive and nice person, and if Farmer is okay with his advances, he will continue. 8/10, a very good flirtation on an emotional connection.
To be honest, Anton is still having a hard time pulling himself together after failed wedding, career collapse and other hardships to believe in himself again. Even though he has a lot of interest for Farmer, Anton still can't bring himself to start flirting. And should he, because he thinks no-one wants him. It's not true, but... *sigh* 2/10, there were some attempts. Anton is a romantic man, he just needs to believe in himself.
Kenneth's flirting is perhaps the most unusual. Due to his slight shyness and desire to surprise Farmer, he will send his robot to say compliments and give letters. It's quite nice... until the robot malfunctions. Then the electrician will quickly apologise and try to make conversation. Kenneth and his unusual flirting was to their liking. 6/10, quite good, the important thing is that the robot doesn't malfunction again and start a fire.
For a rather emotionally reserved person who has a difficult and responsible job, Bryle behaves quite romantically. Classic flirting and courtship are assured for the Farmer. He is quite confident in his winning ways, and if Farmer responds to his endeavours, the bodyguard will slowly reveal himself to them. 7/10, there are a couple of flaws but overall very good!
How can you not love a golden retriever? And how about a man who is as kind and good as a retriever? Who is so good that you want to cuddle him and listen to him babble endlessly about comic books? That's what I'm saying. 6/10 for Phillip, this man hasn't started flirting yet but has already achieved the flirt points and hearts of many, including Farmer (I'm judging everyone fairly, of course).
When Sean begins his mission to gain the Farmer's interest in his person, he will appear in their sight more often, each time offering to take a break, play video games, or prank with the kids. When hanging out frequently, he is more interested in getting to know the Farmer better, remembering to compliment their appearance or how cleverly they pranked someone. A playful flirtation that not only works, but earns 7.5/10 points. Great job, Sean!
RSV bachelorettes (+unlovable):
Daia flirted with Farmer even when they both barely knew each other. How does Farmer even need to figure out now if her intentions to start a relationship are serious or just another joke? Regardless of the teases with double meanings though, Daia has started acting like a humble and fragile girl around Farmer. So after all, her intentions have gotten serious. 10/10, she is good at flirting, even too good...
Flor can't flirt. Period. She's too insecure and very shy, constantly hiding her face behind a book and stuttering at the sight of someone she's partial to. I'd like to say Flor will try to compliment her, but... nope. 0/10, It's up to the Farmer themselves to make the first move.
With her beautiful voice, with which you can serenade people, Alissa could conquer anyone who came to her heart... if she wasn't so insecure and shamed by her own voice. Such potential - and not to use it, how can you do that! So she's pretty humble, so 4/10, a bit stilted, but the attempts are there.
"My name is Blair, I'm your future wife!" And the young fisherwoman knows how to properly meet people.... Ok, ok, it was a joke from her, but Blair shows herself confident enough to flirt with Farmer when she have romantic feelings for them. During the courtship, she can tease Farmer, easily making them blush. 6/10, quite good actually
Shared pastimes and fun are Paula's main trump card in winning the heart of the much-loved Farmer. The head doctor of Ridgeside Village has decided to be herself and spend more time with the object of her affection, creating truly beautiful moments for the two of them, not forgetting to hint at them her romantic feelings. She does it very professionally, by the way, as if she was trained somewhere. 7/10, you can do it, doctor!
To tell the truth, Corine's romantic interest is sometimes hard to recognize. Most likely, it is in this way, with emphasized delicacy, without pressure, she will woo the chaotic Farmer. Not to say that the girl is a master at it, but not a novice either. She is not usually the initiator of the conversation, so she may stutter a little at the sight of the reason for her crush. If Farmer starts the conversation first, the girl will be more confident. 5/10, basically okay.
Oh, Ysabelle will giggle and flirt with Farmer behind the counter at the hotel the whole time. You can tell right away that when she's flirting with them, her speech is softer, deeper and not very loud. She is quite skillful in using her entire arsenal in terms of flirting. 7.5/10 (7/10 if her Grandpa starts teasing her lightly and the girl immediately blushes and her attitude gets thrown off because Grandpa, don't make her blush in front of the Farmer!).
Does anyone remember how Irene's cheeks were the color of tomatoes at the sight of Zayne, and her own voice betrayed her and she constantly squeaked at the mention of the same future head of the Amethyne family? Well, she has an even harder time with Farmer. Irene used to be able to have friendly conversations with them, but when her amorous gaze is now fixed on Farmer, it's... yeah. 5/10, flirting is hard for her now, but trying to get their love through delicious desserts worked.
Faye very skillfully demonstrates a model of extroverted behavior. She jokes with Farmer, does not skimp on compliments and tries to establish physical contact: to touch his shoulder, take their hand. At times she can get distracted by talking a lot, but her flirting is very good. 7/10, give her a little time and she will charm them quickly.
I'd like to say that Maddie could compete with Jio for the title of "tsundere of the year", but after getting to know Farmer better and trusting them, she doesn't behave the same way anymore. Yes, occasionally, she can be rude again, pushing Farmer away, but this has become less and less frequent, and all her grumbling about Farmer being "clingy" has died down. Still, flirting is pretty hard for her. 4/10, she's still trying her best.
Flirting is not Kiarra's thing. She would probably just tell that she likes Farmer very much, not only as a friend. She's used to telling people the truth to their faces, and thinks there's no point in flirting and creating an illusion for herself. You could ask them straight out, because what if they already have a partner? 0/10, she's an honest girl, but don't even count on a show of flirting before Farmer says their feelings are mutual.

Hewwo!!
May I have some headcanons on how the RSV bachelors/bachelorettes would react to seeing the Farmer with a bunch of Junimos? :3
Like, the Farmer told them about those forest spirits before, but the NPC didn't really believe them, at least until they saw the Farmer playing with the Junimos
Hewwo :3 Glad to see you again!
Sure thing, have some Ridgeside Village headcanons! And have a good day! 🫰💕
_________________________________________
RSV bachelors/ettes react to the Farmer with a bunch of Junimos:
For Daia, the existence of Junimos was nothing new, for she works in a team with the same creature, though Kiwi is different from her forest kin. But it was the first time she had to see the magical apple-shaped spirits hiding in the woods with her own eyes. Naturally, the ninja girl will not miss such an opportunity, especially since Junimo are so cute and small! What adorable little guys!
Poor Blair has fallen into the chilly river water when Farmer and Junimo give her a scare during her fishing trip. She's not so much surprised by the magical forest creatures as she is now a little bit angry at them, because now she has to run home and change her clothes for dry ones. Although the young fisherwoman admits that Junimo are awfully cute and will want to play with them.
"Oh, that's... wonderful." Thanks to Zanye's oratorical skills, the future head of the Amethyne family got out of this pinch. Because Farmer's tale of certain 'Junimos' in the woods had made Zayne sceptical, to say the least. Even the first time he'd met the apples-spirits, he'd considered them a very advanced toy for kids. On the other hand, Sonny kept mentioning to Zayne about the guardian forest spirit, and that altar for offerings... Well, he's very busy with family and business so far, so apologize, dear Farmer, but he must leave.
Whatever the Farmer tried to say when Irene met them and Junimos, their words were cut short by a shrill cry of "Rats!" as the girl herself found the nearest bench to climb onto. Even after realising that they weren't rats at all, the cook of the noble Amethyne family refused to move off the bench because... what is that? Round, incomprehensible, kind of like apples, but... Blinking?! Eeeeeeeeeeee! Poor Irene's going to be a bit hard to calm down after that. So we can only wish the Farmer luck.
There's all this talk of kiwi fruit rolling around the Village, and now Farmer is been buzzing all Bryle's ears about apple-like little creatures or something. What's next, flying bananas? He has a duties to protect his friend and adopted son the Governor to pay attention to this 'Junimo'. And upon catching Farmer with the bouncing "apples", the poor guy will shake his head and remark to himself that when the assassin situation subsides, he'll get some rest. And drink.
Aaah! There's a rabid raccoon in the bushes! No, wait, that's not a raccoon, Ysabelle shouted in vain. They're just the harmless little apple gnomes the Farmer had told her about earli- STOP. Is that true??? It's real?! She thought Farmer was just telling her a fairytale. She needs to take a picture right away to show her grandpa and the others! Eh? Wait, apple, don't run awa- Ugh, here we go... Maybe Farmer knows how to find these creatures again.
Maddie was sure to have a nervous breakdown, flipping through a book about all the creatures of the world for the fourth time, but finding no information about these strange beasts. The ginger girl thought Farmer was just messing with her, but here she is - standing in front of them with these apple-animal creatures chirping merrily in their hands. Maddie no longer knows whether she should run with all her might to Mr. Aguar and document the new species, or just scream.
Ha! So she wasn't imagining it after all! Corine knew that forest spirits existed, but many said she just had too much imagination. Now who's having the last laugh? She is! After all, Farmer is standing in front of her, surrounded by these apple-like creatures! Erm... Excuse her for shrieking so sharply, but the girl was beginning to believe that she had imagined it all. Anyway! What cute little spirits, and not afraid of her at all. Adorable!
Merciful spirits... Does the Farmer take Jio for a fool? He knows perfectly well for Junimo's existence, no need to tell him all about it. Elves by nature can see spirits and sense the presence of magic, especially forest magic. And knowing that in Farmer's veins also flows the magic of the forest, Jio was not surprised that Farmer became a friend with Junimos. So there was no need to tell him all this again, and it was best that Farmer leave the elf alone.
Anton would have liked to attribute the Junimo he had just seen to his state of alcoholic intoxication from too much cider. But alas, he was sober. Oh, well... Maybe it's not that bad, though. Farmer claims that these forest spirits are kind and won't hurt anyone, so why not play with them, since they squeak and beg for him. It's a little strange, but Anton quickly gets used to Junimos.
If you heard a short scream as you walked past Blooming Hill Farm, don't worry, it wasn't the scary monster from Ridge Forest, it was just Jeric. And the cause of his scream was a basket of apples, which, as it turned out, had small eyes and small hands, and they weren't apples at all, but magical creatures. Why would Farmer- Oh, to meet him? Well, hello, cute little creatures. Heh, that's a first impression. But he's ok with Junimos.
Alissa thought she was alone in the forest and decided to practice singing, but she already had an audience. Farmer didn't want to scare her and apologised immediately, but then a second scream followed as the girl saw Junimos nearby. So the tales of forest spirits were true? And Farmer was even able to befriend them? But what do they want from her? Oh, to sing a song? Alissa is actually very shy about her voice, but five pairs of begging eyes (including Farmer's) still managed to talk her into it. She never thought the forest creatures would like her singing, but she's still very flattered.
In truth, when Paula heard Farmer's story about their "interaction with the forest spirits," the girl was seriously worried about their health and strongly recommended a visit to her clinic, believing that Farmer had a fever. But after the army medic saw Farmer again, with Junimo jumping and squeaking around them, she decided that she now had the fever. Because... what??? It would take her some time to accept this news.
What a fascinating interactive robot! If Farmer doesn't mind, Kenneth would like to get a better look at this little creation. Did Maru design this? Or did Farmer purchase the robot elsewhere? To play with? So this robot is a toy! Hmm? What do you mean it's not a robot? Where... are the batteries? And why are they soft to the touch? Forest spirit? Huh, not a robot, really.... You'll have to excuse Kenneth for a moment, he's going into a bit of information overload.
Sean nearly dropped the box with its fragile contents when he saw the Farmer walk past, followed by... apples??? with eyes, arms and legs rolling behind them like ducklings after their mama duck. Yo, what is this? The Farmer is surprised as well, because they didn't know that Sean could see the forest creatures. So they told him about Junimo a little bit more. No way! If Sean tell Ian, he wouldn't believe it.
But why tell Ian when you can show him, right? So 15 minutes later a slightly disgruntled Ian arrived at the bus stop. Just as he wanted to scold his friend for wasting time when the customers were already complaining about them, Sean simply pointed his finger at Junimo, who were playing with Farmer. Ian's reaction was... unreadable. After being in a stupor for a couple of seconds, he took Sean's hand and led him back home, for there was work waiting for them. I think it's his defence reaction to realising the existence of fairy tale creatures.
Hmm, from afar, Faye thought the Farmer was playing with some plush toys. No judgement on her part, it was just rather unusual. And what was also unusual was that these toys were approaching Farmer on their own. What's that? What is that? "Junimo"? That's a weird name for a toy. Wow, toys can.... can grow a plant in a secon.. Hahaha, that's great, one second please, Faye is going to faint for a moment.
When meeting Farmer's magical friends, Junimo, Flor has a lot of options for possible outcomes. She could faint, she could faint on the sofa in the hotel, or just on the floor (ouch...). The red-haired girl could faint and be caught by the Farmer, she could faint on a bush, or in a flower bed. Or faint on the Junimos themselves. Like I said, lots of options...
Shocked by what he saw, June's cigarette fell out of his mouth. Unfortunately for the pianist, the cigarette fell into the dry grass, which was beginning to catch fire, but he was still in a stupor because of Junimo's presence. It was only when the apple-like creatures began to squeak loudly and Farmer shouted "Fire!" that June came to his senses and immediately put out the fire that was still burning. Now the Farmer and the strange creatures are lightly scolding him. This was not how June had imagined an evening out after work.....
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are they real? Farmer wasn't lying when he told Philip about these Junimos?! Hey, no need to look at him like that, he didn't mean to offend Farmer in any way. It's just... 'Magical forest spirits-guardians protecting the Stardew Valley'? If the young physiotherapist had been the one to tell Farmer this, they would have questioned his words too. They're actually cool. Can he touch them? If the creatures themselves don't mind, of course. It's just that he's torn by curiosity.
Even before the Farmer mentioned Junimos, Kiarra caught one moment of the trash scattered by the unwary tourists moving towards the tank, along with the apples... It was far away, and so illogical that she had written it off to fatigue and imagination. And now those same apples are bouncing alongside the Farmer. A strange situation for sure, but the next day the graphic designer would be even more eager to remind tourists not to litter in the Village. Apparently, realising the upset forest creatures gave her even more incentive to fight for conservation.
Tired? Need more rest? Shiro disagrees with Harvey and Philip, he's feeling much better today and is even going to take a walk around the whole village and Pelican Town! *Opens the door, sees the Farmer with the apple-like creatures jumping around near them, and closes the door* ....Okay, he'll rest at home for today, since the doctors insist.

Note
i saw you made these headcanons for the vanilla + SDVE ones, so maybe bachelorettes of ridgeside village trying to make the farmer blush?
Certainly, dear anon 😊 Thanks for the ask!
_________________________________________
Make Farmer blush Challenge (impossible) - that's the kind of headline all of Irene's attempts to do the intended thing would have. The Amethyne family's personal chef somehow caught Farmer all blushed and so cute, and the girl decided she wanted to see again. Except instead of what she wanted, Irene, opening her mouth to her crush, either squeaked or got counterattacked, and left all red-cheeked and flushed herself. 3/10, better luck next time!
Ysabelle is very good at compliments, which are sure to flatter Farmer and make them turn away from the girl, hiding their rosy cheeks.... Until Farmer themselves praise Ysabelle's appearance or dance, at which point her face turns red. They have to try harder though, as she's not so easy to be defeated. 6/10 for a former ballerina, great start, the main thing is to keep Farmer from counterattacking.
In Paula's case, it depends on her condition and mood. Normally, a doctor can't do that. Not because she lacks skill, that's not the point, she just doesn't think it's right to make Farmer blush because she wants to have fun. Yes, it's harmless, but Paula doesn't want to make them uncomfortable. Although, she may forget about this rule after 4-5 mugs of cold beer, and will give out such a compliment that Farmer will hide their face in the palms, so as not to shine their red cheeks. 5/10, as it happens.
Don't you feel sorry for Flor at all to make her do something impossible? With all due respect, she can't make Farmer blush. Period. Even the thought of trying makes the red-haired girl hide her face in a book so as not to show her blushing cheeks. So whatever the reason, Flor can't make it work. 0/10, alas.
Daia doesn't even need to put in much effort, and the member of the Cult of the Lady With The Red Tail will instantly have Farmer's cheeks as red as a tomato. Pretty bawdy jokes, heaps of compliments, double entendres - she's as adept with cold weapons as she is with her words. Not Daia's fault her friend (or maybe object of adoration?) is so cute when they blush, hee hee. 11/10, Farmer doesn't stand a chance.
Considering that Blair's first phrase to Farmer when they first met was "I'm your future wife," which was sure to make them a little confused and blushed, it would be easy for the young fisherwoman to come up with something that would make Farmer's cheeks glow. She's got plenty of imagination, and whether it's a joke, or even an attempt to win their heart, Blair will succeed. Maybe not the first time, but she's very stubborn. 8/10, a very good result almost on the first try.
Alissa falls under the category of "has quite good potential, but lacks confidence", so unfortunately we won't see her in action. She might try after the support of the other girls (Blair or Ysabelle), but she'll get confused by her own words, blush herself and say "oh, I didn't switch off the iron at home", quickly running out of Farmer's sight. 1/10, one point for trying, at least.
Sorry, Maddie, but your efforts to make Farmer blush, shall we say, leave a lot to be desired. To be fair, she's not as shy as Flor, for example, and she can deliver a phrase or a compliment that's sure to give her victory. But when Farmer counterattacks, Maddie's fortress wall collapses like a cards house and she retreats, all flushed. 4/10, the beginning isn't bad, but towards the end...
Kiarra is quite a confident girl. Not that she is a master of compliments, like "making anyone blush instantly" kind of level, but she is quite good. And if Farmer wants to return the compliments by making the designer's face red, then they should try harder, because Kiarra is not so easy to embarrass. 8/10, a very good result, Kiarra can be proud of herself.
Heh, making Farmer blush? Easy for Faye! All she has to do is invite Farmer to the Pika's restaurant and put all her eloquence into action. After all, she has a lot of experience, thanks to her job as a waiter. And Faye doesn't lie: she gives a couple of compliments that will make Farmer all flushed. What Faye didn't take into account, though, is that she herself is easily embarrassed. 6.5/10, not bad at all.
That's not to say there's nothing in Corine's arsenal to help her achieve a blush on Farmer's cheeks, she just doesn't see the point. Why purposefully embarrass Farmer? It's one thing if it's a case of a girl wanting to flirt with them or hint at her romantic feelings, well why would she if it's another reason? But she can, don't get the wrong idea. Not ideally, but still. So yeah, 6/10.

Hi! I’m the anon who requested the werewolf farmer one! To which I say, whoops! I thought I typed RSV, but didn’t check before sending it in! Sorry for the confusion, but I loved the post regardless! Could you please do the werewolf farmer with the Ridgeside bachelors and bachelorettes too?
It's okay, dear anon! Feel free to send requests again. Glad you liked that previous HC with vanilla candidates!
Hope you don't mind if I only describe bachelorettes here. Enjoy, and have a great day! 💕

RSV bachelorettes discover that their s/o!Farmer is a werewolf
Flor:
One, two, three, four... *Thump* Oh, Flor lasted four seconds without passing out after seeing Farmer's transformation. Not a bad result.
It's not that Farmer was so heartless and deliberately bullied her, it's just... that the reaction was expected.
What's interesting - when Flor calms down and gets used to her partner again, the psychologist will be more often interested in how they are.
It's just... She realises that carrying this burden, living in constant fear of being exposed, judged, even possibly enduring past fights and avoiding those who think Farmer is a monster and wish harm for their mere existence - it will definitely leave a mark on Farmer's mental health.
Werewolf or not, it's her Farmer, friend and lover, who she won't abandon and will always listen to them if they want to talk it out.
Daia:
"Aww, I was hoping you'd turn out to be a vampire. That would be a real romantic story..." Wait, what? "But I'm not complaining, I still love you, my little puppy~" Daia, what the fu-
This woman fights monsters almost every day and does missions to kill Gabriella's minions. Do you think she would be shocked by a werewolf?
Yeah, it's unexpected that her lover is what is usually considered a monster, but she knows Farmer well enough to be afraid or worried.
Daia became very curious to hear their story, but if they wanted to share it.
There will be no dispatch or horror on her face. There would be more flirtation, though, related to the Farmer's secret. "You're so big and strong in wolf form, dear~ How about sparring.... in the bedro-" DAIA PLEASE!
So yeah, no particular problems with this.
Ysabelle:
Ysabelle covered her mouth with the hand so as not to frighten the hotel guests or attract unnecessary attention. Otherwise, her partner would be burned alive by everyone.
Actually, Farmer didn't choose the best place to reveal the truth about her lycanthropy. But what we have is what we have.
The girl quickly shouts to her grandfather that she's not feeling well and can't work, then closes the door behind her so she and Farmer won't be disturbed.
"Werewolf, huh..." How? How is that even possible? "Well, somehow possible since I'm standing in front of you, love." It was strange to hear Farmer's more bassy voice.
Isabelle went through the standard questions about their transformation into a werewolf and began to think about what to do next. No, she loves Farmer and won't leave them. It's just, what should she do,
Alissa:
Farmer definitely should not have revealed the truth to Alissa near any objects made of glass. Because the girl reached such a high note in her heartbreaking scream that all the glass immediately cracked.
The two of them are going to have a very long conversation alone. And a lot of sedative for Alissa.
Of course, she understands the Farmer's situation perfectly well, how difficult it was for them themselves to carry this secret and that, in fact, revealing to her that they are a werewolf was impossible to mitigate in any way.
But she also wants to make sure that even in wolf form, Farmer is still the same Farmer.
It will take Alissa a little time to adjust, but as long as their love is strong, these two will endure any hardship together.
Paula:
Paula reached for her army knife, which she usually carried by habit, and got into a defensive posture, trying to remain calm. Before her eyes, the Farmer disappeared and in their place appeared a wolf-like... creature.
How else should she react but to defend herself? "Darling, put the knife down, please." Sorry Farmer, but you'll have to do better to get your girlfriend to fulfill your request.
It took a bit of time, but still the army doctor was willing to listen to Farmer ("but no sudden movements, ok?").
Farmer must admit - despite the tense moment, Paula was able to quickly accept the news. She hadn't realised some of her lover's oddities before, like their refusal to meet her on a full moon or the fact that they smell like wet dog, but now...
Irene:
Screaming and broken Amethyne family crockery - why in the world Farmer should have turned into a werewolf in the kitchen of the mansion!
If Irene hadn't been scared to death - she would have scolded her lover for such a thing.
The poor cook has had a bad day the morning after that night - realising the existence of werewolves, making excuses to Madame Maive for the broken rock crystal plates, insomnia, and Sonny worrying about the girl's condition. Farmer feels very guilty about it. And rightly so - quite a d#ck move!
Irene has been pretty tired the last few days, so she's asked her partner the most important questions about their transformation and accepted that fact.
There would be more questions later. But that's later, so yeah...
Maddie:
If Farmer tried to say anything to Maddie, it was useless, because the ginger girl ran away with such speed that you could set a record in Ferngill Republic. Even in werewolf form, Farmer could envy the speed of their lover.
Jokes aside, but it took a lot of effort for Farmer to calm their girlfriend down (in human form. As a werewolf it wasn't very effective).
Maddie understands more than anyone that it's hard to open up to people when you've had bad experiences in the past that have caused trust issues. Though different situations, but still.
With the fear receding will come scientific curiosity: how transformation happens, what changes inside their body, etc.
It will be fine. Just... don’t scare her like that again. Or she may hit them. Which will hurt a lot, even in wolf form.
Blair:
"Dios mio!" Blair was already thinking about jumping into the river to save her life from the... monster? Wait, a second ago her partner had been standing- "!!!"
It took the young fisherwoman a moment to realise what had just happened and process the information. Good thing Farmer is very patient.
"Is- is that you? Is that still you?" She cautiously approached her partner and touched their furry palm, which showed sharp claws. "Wow..." Blair was as startled as she was delighted and surprised.
Who would have thought her date would turn out to be a creature from fairy tales. That's actually so awesome!
Tho, there will definitely come a point when the two of them will have to tell the truth to Blair's mother too... But that's in the future.
Faye:
"Faye, my dear, I've been meaning to tell you for a long time... Well, anyway, I'd better show you." *Farmer transforms into a werewolf*
Faye.exe stopped working...
At least she didn't faint and scream all over Ridge Forest for help, so that's a plus probab-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Oh, she did scream. *Sigh...* And it seemed to Farmer that revealing the truth to their girlfriend had gone smoothly....
The waitress would be shocked by the news for a long time, but would quickly come round. After all, she loves Farmer, and being a werewolf doesn't change anything.
The only thing is that the waitress will still refuse to serve them raw meat. Because they have to eat properly, even as a wolf-like creature! No, no undercooked food!
Corine:
Of course it was shocking news to Corine, but after that incident with Gabriella's minion and meeting Jio for the first time, she wasn't as surprised as the Farmer thought she was.
Well, Farmer didn't hear their partner yelling and the words "Monster!" or "Stay away from me!" directed at them, so that's a good start.
Corine wants to know everything, if possible. So that she knows about all the details and can protect both the Farmer themself, herself, her dad and her friends.
After making sure her lover doesn't go into a blind rage in wolf form, she'll just accept it all and go out with them as before.
Unusual, weird - so what? Farmer is still her dear and beloved Farmer.
Kiarra:
Out of fear, Kiarra threw the first thing she could find at the Farmer. And it was her graphics tablet. Which went straight into poor Farmer's head.
"Why?" That voice definitely belonged to her lover, but the look.... Kiarra was utterly confused.
Half the day the Farmer had to prove that it was really them, that they weren't about to chew their girlfriend's throat out in wolf form right now, that they weren't running to Ridgeside Village to scare the villagers.
It takes her a while to get used to the realisation that her partner is a werewolf.
Strange... But the graphic designer doesn't feel a bit of fear at their wolfish appearance, but even some calmness. And a sense of security. Kinda weird, but she loves them and trusts them.
