Meretrix is always depicted having purple eyes. They are often wearing revealing or tight fitting clothing. They usually have markings around their eyes. If their form doesn't have these eye markings it will get them tattooed on or draw them on with makeup.

Meretrix often tries to rope people into addictions. Often being annoying to achieve this goal (poor James has seen this first hand). It has the ability to tell if someone wants/craves somthing and will try and help that person achieve that goal, especially if it is addictive or harmful. Meretrix gets bored easily and is often trying to find somthing 'fun' to do. Either finding someone to sleep with or someone to get drunk and/or high with.

Meretrix is the youngest of the gods, only being one thousand and a half (in planet years). Because of this he often messes up, doesn't listen to their superiors, gets in trouble and isn't very good at keeping multiple forms at the same time.

Meretrix has another half that she is continuously looking for. They barely get to meet with their other half. Meretrix often gets insecure about their other half not loving/caring about them but it never talks about this. He loves their other half very much. Almost to the point of obsession.

I would rant about his backstory but because SOMEONE (cough James cough) isn't asking Meretrix anything about it I won't. No spoilers for my freinds!!

please don't mistake silence for hatred. please don't mistake unanswered plotting messages as indifference, or a lack of enthusiasm towards you. considering the ages of most roleplayers, many of us have bills to pay, families to take care of, medical conditions to treat, appointments to make, classes to take, homes to clean, and lives to live away from the computer that are far, far more important than writing on tumblr — life has a tendency to get in the way of hobbies and fun things like this. be patient with your fellow writers. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. of course you can set your boundaries, keep your space comfortable, and softblock whoever you wish, but do so while recognizing it's probably not hatred or apathy that keeps them from leaping into your dms with message after message. they probably love this hobby just as much as you... but sometimes life gets in the way.
