Actually it’s so funny to me, because while Daemon absolutely DRAGS his arranged marriage through the mud and openly slanders his wife at ANY opportunity, Rhea just…didn’t gaf about that man AT ALL 😭😭😭.

Girly was riding horses, handling falcons and her own damn business, and remained completely unbothered by Daemon’s deeply unserious antics until the day she died.

Rowan + Abby friendship time yes/yes?

omg yes!! Absolutely!

Rowan would adore Abby and I am not just saying that because I adore her. I’ve talked about how Steffon makes Rowan try to be softer again and so would Abby.

(they are around the same age for this because I said so and reality is just an illusion anyways)

They meet in Kingslanding and Rowan takes one look at her and instantly is very protective because she admires and values kindness and would do whatever is in her power to not have people harden themselves like she did. Being kind/soft and making oneself vulnerable is such a brave thing to do and Abby instantly has a friend in Rowan, even if they only exchanged a few words in greeting.

Abby might be a bit scared of her (Rowan is very stoic and serious and very intimidating even before people learn who her father is) but it becomes apparent very quickly that that is a facade that can be chipped away easily - by Abby anyway. She gets to know a completely different Rowan than anyone else outside the Royce family. Because Rowan wants to be soft again and Abby would be where she first allows herself to be, because she knows she will not judge her.

Yet to most people in KL she is still the unapproachable and intimidating Lady of Runestone/daughter of the Rogue Prince that they are scared to talk to while Abby just goes up to her, takes her by the hand and pulls her with her. And Rowan lets her, despite what it does to her reputation because Abby has become a very dear friend in record time.

So gods forbid if someone took advantage of her friend’s kindness, or made her feel bad about it. Rowan would end them - figuratively ofc! Or not. Just say the word, Abby.

Okay okay because we all know the last episode is called “the Calvary has Arrived” here’s my idea as to what’s going to happen…

Hunter, Wrecker, and Crosshair finally get the coordinates to tantiss curtesy of clone x (tech) he broke his conditioning or they capture him and discoverer it’s him. Either way he plays a critical role in recovering omega. Echo and Rex and howzer and all the other clones help because it’s tantiss, it’s the one place they want to know where it is, it’s important. They storm the base yada yada yada and boom hemlock is there, but at this point project necromancer (whatever it is) is almost or already complete because they have omega and she’s a key part in it. Something blows up and of course anyone of the batch is in the line of fire except another batcher, whoever it is. And they won’t let another one of their own go so soon. Either way someone’s going to either almost get hurt or get hurt and another one is going to sacrifice themselves or get left behind (as is customary with bb endings).

So, at least from Lady Rhea, it was pretty minor. She definitely allowed Yorick the space to, like, do little boy things, but she did call him "the responsible one" enough times that he internalized it & had that flavor a lot of his actions. He wanted to be good & make things easy for his mommy!

Lady Rhea was, functionally, a single mom, & for all the help with the twins that was on offer at Runestone, that still took a toll on her; not aided by the fact she was in her late teens/early 20s when Yorick was living there full time. So maybe she wasn't incredibly mindful about keeping the kids out of earshot when she complained or sang Yorick’s praises for being "the easy one," & sometimes would let more adult concerns slip when talking to him. Even when she doubled back & said Yorick didn't need to worry about any of the stuff she just said around or to him, he still would because that was his mom & he cared & he wanted to help her because he was a little kid that didn't know he should leave that stuff to adults & that reigning Ella in wasn't his responsibility.

In King’s Landing with his dad was a whole other ballpark though. Yorick was heavily...maybe not explicitly parentified, but at least adultified by Daemon.

He had fucked off as soon as the twins weren't exciting anymore & didn't have a whole lot of interest in trying to parent anyone that young when he was barely done being a child himself. Mans should not have been a father of 2 at 23-years-old, he should have been at the club (Lady Rhea too, tbh). He was frustrated by Yorick’s Little Kidisms & him not already being competent & good at things yet; he didn't like giving instructions or life lessons or having teaching moments, he wanted his son to have already come with all that programmed in so he could do the "fun part" of turning him into a mini me. His own irresponsibility just kind of turned Yorick’s adultification into parentification, where reigning Ella in from acting like a fool & getting them in trouble turned into gentle parenting his own dad after he went on a bender.

And none of that was fair for Yorick. He shouldn't have been taking care of his dad when he was hung over, or concerning himself with what his mom was going through, or worrying about his sister being as volatile as their dad, or thinking it was his responsibility to go confront a crazy man holed up in one of the most fortified castles in Westeros when he was only 14.
