“I could eat anywhere,” Casey says though that doesn’t really help decide on a place. “I’m sure you don’t want to go to the pub,” he adds. He’s never worked in a restaurant before but he was sure like any job going to your work on a day wasn’t favorable. “What about Chinese?” Casey finally offers a legitimate suggestion. While he really could go anywhere he had been craving fried rice for a while.

Roxy thought for a moment, trying to decide what would be better to do. She wanted to see a scary movie but she was honestly afraid she'd be up all night with nightmares, so when Casey brought up food, she nodded. "I could always eat. Let's do that. What are you in the mood for?"

Andros was grinning as he walked with Ozzy on his shoulders, happy to let his parents have a day off to enjoy the fair by themselves. Especially for pops who hadn't gotten to do fun stuff for themselves before they met mom. He set Ozzy down in front of him when the toddler insisted he could walk, chuckling and shaking his head knowing he'd be back on carrying duty soon enough.

They didn't have plans, just going wherever Ozzy's interest went as they walked around. Managing to win him a bouncy ball covered in otters, he was bouncing it around before kicking it too hard. Watching it hit someone on the back of the leg, he was quick to snatch Ozzy up before he could chase after it. "Hey sorry, mind tossing it back to us?"

Roxy was cursing loudly under her breath as she managed to get the door to the apartment open. Kicking her shoes off, she practically stomped into the kitchen and dumped two grocery bags on the table. "Okay, if that creepy fucker on the second floor won't stop wolf whistling at me I'm gonna fucking stab him, Avi," she threatened as she started pulling things out of the bags. It was mostly necessities—cleaning supplies, toilet paper, tampons—with a few small luxuries sprinkled in. "I mean it. I will kill him."

"Roxxx, these aren't yours by any chance, are they?" Ravi asks, pointing to the gaudy zebra print sunglasses that had found their way onto his face over the course of the night. He can't remember if he took them or was given them and after catching sight of his distorted reflection in his beer bottle, he's not sure they're as fetching as he originally thought.

Bede leaned against one of the pillars supporting Hammerlocke Bridge, idly watching a wild Greedent run about and collect berries under a tree. The sky was overcast, as it tended to be at this time of year in Galar, and Bede hugged his arms to himself in the slight chill. He was waiting for Roxie to appear so they could begin their search for a Galarian Zigzagoon. Bede scratched his palm, where a thin claw scar stretched over his skin underneath his glove. A Galarian Zigzagoon... he'd run into trouble with those in the past. Partly, this little outing would serve to prove to himself that he's capable of catching one, if he so chooses. And it would serve as a way to calm his jittery nerves.

Most of all, though, it was a way to spend time with his friend. Though he wouldn't admit that so readily.

"You sure your boss will be okay with this?" Sola asked in a loud whisper as she peaked into the mostly darkened kitchen for signs of movement. When she couldn't find any, she reached inside to switch a light on and stepped further inside.

She'd had some grand ideas for a taco cornbread stuffing and enlisted Roxy as a sous, and Sola wanted someplace a little easier to spread out in than the confines of home kitchen or the truck.

"At least we brought our own stuff, right?" she justified, more to herself than anything else, as she heaved grocery bags onto a countertop. "And then we just gotta make sure we leave this place spotless before we go home."

At around 1:55 minutes, you can hear "Roxys" voicelines from her fight with the Mimic.

Ive got some thoughts on this.

1. We can hear the Mimic starting to mimic Roxy with "Give up. You cant win" (i think, it sounds glitchy and a bit unlike Roxy. Like its still learning her voice.)

2. We can hear the moment Roxy realises she cant win this one. ("Oh, my!") Then afterwards, her sobbing and something that sounds like either "I... Cassie" (I'm sorry, Cassie.") Or, "I... lost." Its hard to tell, though the subs in the video go with the "I... lost" interpretation.

I dont think theres any isolated audio for the mimic available yet on youtube. (Though i found a video that contains in- game capture of their dialogue when theyre pretending to be Gregory way before the boss fight.) So maybe im wrong. But i think both of their lines were included in the fight scene dialogue.

Anyway, im still conflicted over who comes to get Cassie after the elevator ending.

The Mimic? Mimicking Roxy? That would explain why "Cassie" at the end of the credits sounds somewhat off. But it doesnt make sense? Shed be gravely injured- it could just kill her without the theatrics. And we know its is aiming to kill her- in the death screens, it looks likes its ripping her arms off to the side, before going for her head. And thats very in character for the Mimic.

I havent read the books, but heard some summaries. Off topic- but i am so glad that the death screens are ao bloodless, even when they imply gorey things are happening. Part of the reason I dont read the books is the gore (yeah, skill issue on my part.)

Roxy? I really want it to be Roxy, somehow still in one piece. But I doubt she got out of the Mimic fight with her limbs. Or even her head. If you brighten the cutscene all the way, its holding her head like theyre gonna snap it off. And she loses. Without seemingly doing any damage to the Mimic. My poor girl...

Anyway, i really hope Roxy did get out of there okay. That she finds Cassie, they get back to the surface. Cassies dad helps fix up Roxy with some new eyes. And Roxy has a (much more successful) second bout with the Mimic. Happy ending, best ending.

"i'm sorry i am so bad at this. this is the first date i've been on in a really, really long time." roxy hasn't been with anyone since her late husband. her heart had been broken in many ways by that man, from his cheating to his sudden death...it had been at least two years since all of that. she's got a toddler at home. she has no game anymore. "you're probably regretting agreeing to this." she chuckled, dropping her head bashfully.

Andros had his hands stuffed into his pockets as he followed the security guy towards the private room, giving a bright smile when they left him to his own devices. Plopping down onto an overly cushioned couch, he drummed his fingers on his knees. It been over a decade since he'd been in this kind of place, at least this time he was here by his own choice.

Hearing a different door than the one he'd walked through open, he glanced at the girl who walked in. He'd stood up without thinking, going to lift up his hand, hesitating before running it through his hair instead. "Hey, I'm Andros...so am I allowed to ask questions or am I suppose to be like quiet?" he asked before chuckling, "Really hoping I didn't just waste the one, if that's the only one I get."

"Did you try those little burger parcel things on New Years Eve?" Maura asks as she absentmindedly swings her legs back and forth on the stool that was propped between the edge of the bar and in the walkway to the kitchen, thumb tapping at her iPhone screen.

"I tried to google them." She adds, phone screen tilting to Roxy as she dismisses that attempt. "Do you think we could convince Santi to add an adult size of them to the menu? I don't think I can go forward without them in my life."
