Imagine: Jack seeing you for the first time but you can’t see him
Disclaimer; This is inspired by @cutiepieloves131
It had been three years since Jack became a guardian. And he had to admit, it was fun. Ironically enough he was the guardian of fun. But the spirit of winter.
He spreaded snow and frost everywhere. From France to the small town of Burgess. At first, it was strange to be a guardian, helping children, and being seen.
Usually, children were the only ones who could see him. Well, children who bealived in him. Which weren't a lot. But as the years went by a lot more came. And he got a decent amount of believers.
It was very strange. He would just be walking by making it snow and children would come up to him. It was surprising but he got used to it.
He would fly over the world when he didn't have to bring winter. But when he was, he's favorite place to finish is at Burgess. That's Jamie's town. Jamie is the first boy who ever bealived in Jack.
Burgess has a very special place in his heart. And so is Jamie. But while he is out flying around the world he encounters many strange people, that can't see him. Last time he "meet" a young female.
Jack was in Burgess bringing snow and fun like usual. That was his last stop for the day. He was done and all the kids were out playing. He was going to leave but then Cupcake came running out of her home.
"Guys! You won't believe it!" She ran to her friends. And Jack was just close enough to hear. He turned around to see the little ball of sunshine. "What is it, Cupcake?" Pippa asked.
"My sister is coming back from collage!" Cupcake jumped up and down. "Wait. Y/n is coming back?" Jamie asked excited like everyone else. Jack confused flew to them. "Who's Y/n?" He asked.
"Cupcake's older sister." Jamie answered. "Yes, she's the best!" Caleb said as his twin brother agreed, "Yeah, she is!" They high five each other.
"She is the coolest!" Monty said excitedly as he fixed his glasses. "Coolest?" Jack mouthed out. "Remember when we had that massive snowball fight?" Claude asked as he made a snowball and threw it at Caleb who dogged.
"Yeah, she was the best at that!" Caleb agreed. "The best?" Jack mummered. "Ooh, and on my birthday she made the biggest party ever!" Pippa jumped up and down. "She was awesome!" Monty exclaimed.
"Awsome?" Jack whispered. "Uh, were is she, exactly?" Jack said as he leaned on his woden staff. "She's on her way here!" Cupcake yelled. "When is she getting here?" Jamie asked.
Jack chuckled at their excitement. "I'm not so sure." Cupcake shrugged. While they all told Jack how awesome and generous Y/n was they didn't know you had arrived.
"Mom! Dad!" You ran to them and hugged them both. Tears where shead. Blah, blah, blah. "Where's Cupcake?" You asked. "Oh, she's with Jamie and the others." Your mother said whipping her tears.
You lowly gasped with excitement and with one last hug you ran to find her. "Cupcake!" You called as you walked along the frozen path. Almost slipping. But you grabbed onto a ralling for bikes.
You sighed and carefully walked along the path. "Cupcake!" You yelled again. This time you were somewhere near Jamie's house and near the lake. "Uh, Jamie!?" You called.
"Ugh, come back from collage to a very warm welcome." You mocked. "Cupcake!!" You yelled louder. "Y/N!!" Cupcake and her friends ran to you. "Oh!" You feel backwards due to the force.
"Hi, guys!" You greeted as you hugged them all. They all bombarded you with questions as you stood up. Cupcake was clinging to your leg which you honestly didn't mind. You knew how much she missed you.
"Woah, woah! Calm down. One at a time, please." You laughed with them. But as you answered their questions Jack flew near you. He observed your features.
How your E/c eyes glimmering in the sun. How your S/c skin suited you well. The way your H/c colered hair framed your face perfectly. How soft your L/c lips looked.
He could tell you where a kind person by the way you interacted with the kids. "It's nice to see you all. But it's getting late shouldn't you guys be heading home?" You asked. Cupcake had finally let go of your leg.
"Oh, right!" Pippa realized. "Will we see you tomorrow?" Monty asked. "You bet!" The kids all cheered. "Come on, Cupcake. Say bye." You told your sister as you started to walk away.
"Bye!" All the kids said to each other and they all went home. "I have so much to tell you!" Cupcake said to you. "Oh, well I would love to hear it all."
Jack being the curious and mischievous guy he is decided to follow you two. He wanted to know you. Maybe even have you see him. He knew you couldn't. But that didn't stop him from trying.
"I have this cool story to tell you. It was awesome!" Cupcake beamed. "Alright. How about you wait 'till we get home. Yeah?" You asked as you glanced down at her. "Okay!" You giggled as she skipped home.
Feeling a cold but gentle breeze you smiled. You loved winter. Sure it was cold but it was fun. A small snowflake fell infront of you. Bringing your hand up the snowflake landed on your palm.
You giggled at the cold feeling. You smiled softly as it started to snow more. "It's snowing!" Cupcake said as she tried to capture snowflakes with her tounge.
"Winter. So lovely." You whispered. Cupcake was a few feet away from you and Jack was right next to you. "It is, ain't it?" Jack asked even though he knew you won't respond.
"How I whish I could just..control it." This peaked Jack's interest. "How so?" He asked. "Imagine me..able to bring winter anywhere, anytime, whenever." You giggled. Watching the snowflakes fall into your palm you felt happy.
Happy to be home. "Well, snowflake, you'll be happy to know, I already do that." Jack informed. You giggled and shoock your head. "Talking to myself. Gotta stop doing that."
You looked straight ahead and saw that Cupcake was further away. "Hey, Cupcake! Wait up!" You ran to her. Jack chuckled at you and looked back but decided to follow you.

Jamie: There's a lot of things that you can't see that are real.
Claude: What can't I see?
Jamie: You can't see gravity, that's real.
Caleb: Yeah, I can drop an apple.

chapter seven: howl
under cut
Jamie stared at the TV screen. Mom was pacing.
“That’s him?” He asked again. Mom nodded.
An escaped convict. Caleb and Claud were supposed to be over tonight but because of his dad’s escape, their parents wouldn’t let them over. The news told everyone his crimes. That he was dangerous.
Seeing his father, the one he didn’t remember, was surreal. Seeing the crimes knowing that they were about Jamie, but some other version of him. Seeing his mugshot but never recognizing the man who he shared his DNA with.
He knew that his father was in his life for a long time. He only left last year.
And now, apparently, he was out. Joyce hadn’t let either of them out of sight.
“Do you want me to pull another tooth out and get the Tooth Fairy to beat him up?”
Mom shook her head.
“I don’t want her to make you forget again.”
She looked out the window again, a frown on her face.
“Okay,” she said. “I can’t wait here like a sitting duck. Let’s go to Vivian’s.”
The road was dark. He looked out to see the outlines of trees. The river was near. The roads were dark and winding, pot holes making the drive extra bumpy. There was howling, each howl getting closer to the road.
“Shit!”
He looked up to Mom, seeing as she served. Someone was in the middle of the road.
A man. He was beaten up and bruised, holding his arm. He looked into the car, smiling when he recognized them.
It was his dad.
Mom blared down the car horn.
“No, no, no!”
Their car went off the road.
Jamie watched as the world around them focused into a single tree, and then they smashed into it.
Everything was dark for a moment.
Mom breathed, gasping as she lifted her head off the steering wheel. Sophie was crying, holding her head. Jamie’s head ached, and his nose felt weird. The howling stopped.
The man, his dad, slammed something on the front of the car. Mom screamed.
He threw a rock into the windshield.
Glass flew around them, Mom yelling to get down.
The man was laughing.
“It’s all your fault. You are here for a reason.”
“You are crazy!” His mom shouted.
Jamie looked to his Mom and then to Sophie. He unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the door.
“Jamie!”
The night was cold. They didn’t have time to grab their winter gear, so only his thin pajamas provided warmth from the cold.
The stranger grinned at him.
“What? Did you miss me?”
“You aren’t scary.”
“Jamie!” Mom tried to open the door, panicking when her door was blocked by the tree. She crawled to the other side, opening the door and running to Jamie.
“You did this to me!” The man shouted. “You little bitch.”
Jamie stared calmly at the man. He knew that everything would be alright. He wasn’t sure how.
“It’s a full moon,” he said, looking up.
Mom pulled him behind her.
“I should’ve killed you. I went to jail anyway, right? Why not actually deserve to go?” The man walked towards them.
Jamie looked to the side, into the darkness of the woods. He gasped.
A large wolf stared back at him. He was sure that wolves weren’t supposed to be that big. Its eyes seemingly glowed in the dark.
It howled, and his Mom and the man looked towards it.
“Get back in the car and get down,” the wolf said.
Mom blinked, but dragged Jamie back and sliding in the back seat and pulling Jamie and Sophie down.
“What?” The man asked.
The wolf howled again, and Jamie peaked out of the window.
The wolf growled. The man held a rock, aiming towards it.
“You hurt a child,” the wolf said. “For that, you will die.”
The wolf pounced on the man, who screamed and tried to fight it.
Mom pulled him down.
“What is that?” Jamie asked. Mom shook her head, her eyes distant and tired.
There was screaming, desperate and painful. Mom held Sophie and him closer, closing her eyes and whispering a prayer. They weren’t religious, but there she was, praying to every god she knew the name of.
Jamie leaned against his mom, listening to the howls that were far too close. He glanced out of the back window, seeing more wolves circling around them.
And then the screaming stopped. The howling stopped. Everything was quiet.
There was a gentle knock on the door.
“I’m sorry for that,” the wolf said. Jamie looked up, seeing the wolf transform into a man. He wiped blood away from his mouth.
“My name is Shadowbent. We have to get you to safety. He is not the only thing out to harm you.”
Mom held them tighter.
“Mom, it’s alright,” Jamie said. “He’s good.”
Mom looked down at him. She was scared. Jamie smiled.
“He’s right,” Shadowbent said. “We protect the innocent. If you want those kids to be safe, you and your family need to come with us.”
Mom silently let them go, opening the door and stepping out. She looked around to the wolves.
“I promise they won’t eat you,” Shadowbent said. “Evil tastes best after all.” Jamie grabbed Sophie’s hand and followed his mom outside.
“There were two others, right?” Mom nodded.
“Yeah, yeah there was,” she said numbly. “My siblings.”
Shadowbent nodded.
“I would like to apologize for how your night has gone. Now, we’re going to have to go on foot. Would you like a ride?”
He shifted back to a wolf.
“We got some time to go.”
Jamie approached Shadowbent.
“On your back?”
“Yes, my boy. It’ll be faster, and safer, this way. You all can fit, but the others will have to ride on my second in command.”
He climbed on, holding a hand out to his mom and Sophie. Sophie grinned.
“Like a horsey!”
“Not quite,” Shadowbent replied.
Mom slid on last, holding tightly to the wolf’s mane and making sure her kids were seated in front of her safely and securely. She looked back to the body of his dad.
“Let’s go,” she said.
Then they were off. The wind brushed against Jamie’s face, the adrenaline rushing through his body made him laugh. Shadowbent jumped across the frozen river, howling as the wolves followed him.
Jamie glanced back at the distant lights of Burgess, growing farther and farther away. The darkness of the woods enveloped them.

Okay so a scenario I just thought of. It's October 31st, and Halloween has been established as the Holiday we know it as today. Pitch is back and scaring the kids. How would the Guardians react to The kids admitting they asked Pitch to scare them because they WANTED to be scared because it's FUN to be scared on Halloween?
(Yes this is totally based off of Nightmare Moon in that My Lttle Pony: Friendship is Magic Halloween aka Nightmare Night episode)
Oooh okay this is a fun scenario. I’ll admit that based on the experiences the kids have had, they likely wouldn’t try something like this until they’re teens.
It’s Monty’s idea, which surprises everyone. But hey, he’s the same kid that dragged Jamie out of bed to hunt Bigfoot, so it seems pretty reasonable to him. Unsurprisingly, Caleb is on board right away, but the others take some convincing. Jamie’s the one who decides that if they’re going to ask Pitch to scare them, they need a plan. They need rules.
The deal is as follows. Pitch will be allowed to scare them in any form, so long as he does not cause serious harm to any of them (serious harm being described as anything he or his creations deliberately cause. Scraped knees from falling so not count). Pippa, who by this point is interested in law, outlines a timeframe. Pitch has until an hour before sunset to three o’clock AM to do his worst, but he has to retreat after that. In return, the Burgess Believers swear to try and get other teens involved, and maybe spread a few ghost stories around school that Pitch can build off of. (Jamie and Cupcake wanted to offer a bunch of living spiders as well, in case Pitch liked that kind of stuff, but they were outvoted).
The Guardians almost don’t find out about it. But, well, Burgess is Jack’s home turf, and he notices the extra ghost stories— and Pitch’s increased presence. Pitch, still miffed that Jack refused his offer to be family, smugly tells him everything. Despite being kind of upset that the believers went to Pitch for fear rather than him for fun, Jack is honestly okay with it and doesn’t actually tell the others. None of them have been involved much with the kids (except Bunny, who’s still very fond of Sophie), so he doesn’t see the point.
(Sandy knew the whole time what was going on and found it very funny.)

Day 10 - Jumanji AU
AU August Rise of the Guardians 5 Sentences fics
"It's… your turn, Jamie," Pippa whispered in a tight voice.
Jamie swallowed, looking down at the yellowed ivory dice waiting for him on the game board.
So far, Pippa, Monty, and Claude had rolled, each time summoning a new horror to their living room—stampeding reindeer, fairy swarms, quicksand—but the rules promised to reset everything once the game was over… so they had no choice but to continue playing Jumanji.
Before he lost his nerve, Jamie swept up the dice and rolled, then watched as the next card materialized in the game board's center:
Children, laughing, don't get lost or you'll belong to old Jack Frost.
Slowly, the nearby windows started to cloud over with ice, but no one noticed, at first; Jamie was too busy frowning at the card, perplexed, as he asked,
"…who's Jack Frost?"

Even facing down the boogeyman doesn’t mean jump scares can’t get to you.
In case anyone doesn’t remember, from left to right we have Pippa, Caleb, Claude, Cupcake, Monty, and Jamie. Anyway I saw some of these haunted house shots again the other day and when there were six people in one I knew what I had to do. I had fun aging the kids up a few years too.

Ghost Exterminators? No, We’re Ghost Hunters!
Day 1 - Entity
XX September 2004
“Alright, here’s the plan,” Jamie said, setting down the manila folder on the table. Inside were a few emails exchanged between Pippa, who was the one to answer all emails sent to them, and the haunted. It wasn’t exactly thick by any means, but there was enough weight to it that it landed solidly in front of him.
By the sound of it Claude and Caleb had been playing snake on their phones, and they’d both lost. Monty had been creating his own ringtone, but at the sound of the manila folder slapping on the desk, he dropped his phone, sending it clattering to the ground with the battery shooting out. He dove after it. Cupcake and Pippa, who had been working on Cupcake’s Trigonometry homework, looked at Jamie and then Monty.
Once he had everyone’s attention, Jamie continued.

Following movie timeline, the kids are Adults now, so here’s what I think they’d be doing in university.
Jamie: honestly he’s probably an English major. By this point in his life he wants to be a writer, though he briefly entertained a career as a youtuber who studies the supernatural. He’s also taking several art classes.
Pippa: she’s studying science. She’s very interested in how the world works, especially considering her interactions with some guy who controls(?) winter. She’s gonna figure it out.
Monty: this is gonna seem completely out of left field, but they’re a music major. Something about those glasses makes me think they played clarinet in high school. And not to project or anything, but they’re non-binary.
Caleb: my guy got a football scholarship. He’s doing really well, though he did get a tooth knocked out somehow. He says it was during a game, but it’s actually because he walked into a glass door thinking it was open.
Cupcake: she’s at trades school, learning how to be a veterinary technician. In the earlier years of high school, she was preparing to go to culinary school, but she began volunteering at an animal shelter and, well, it became history.
Claude: he’s taking a few years off to figure out what he wants to do. He’s worked a lot of odd jobs, like retail, scouts leader, and barber apprentice. He actually really liked the last one, and is thinking about going into cosmetology.
Bonus! Sophie: causing chaos in high school by taking tons of summer courses and freeing up her year for electives. Administration doesn’t know what to do.
